I'm John 11 00:00:29,880 --> 00:00:32,580 C. Dvorak. That's because you have a curse on when 17 00:00:47,460 --> 00:00:48,060 it comes to that 18 00:00:48,090 --> 00:00:51,810 when it comes to sports. Yeah, not like in the sports. Well, in 19 00:00:51,810 --> 00:00:52,920 the morning to you, John. 20 00:00:53,190 --> 00:00:56,130 In the morning to you in the morning to all ships at sea. 21 00:00:56,610 --> 00:00:59,820 feet on the ground and dung in the pit. 22 00:01:00,599 --> 00:01:06,029 Wait, I've got to add that one. That's a good one homework done 23 00:01:07,169 --> 00:01:10,499 in the pit. All right, let's do it properly. All ships at sea 24 00:01:10,529 --> 00:01:13,619 boots on the ground wings in the skies. foots in the oceans 25 00:01:13,649 --> 00:01:16,199 checks in the mail Baker's in the kitchen dung in the pit 26 00:01:16,499 --> 00:01:19,109 astronauts Man in the Moon of Mars base stations hands on the 27 00:01:19,109 --> 00:01:22,019 air and human resources everywhere. Especially those in 28 00:01:22,019 --> 00:01:25,289 our chat room. No agenda stream.com where everybody has 29 00:01:25,319 --> 00:01:27,869 assembled. They are all charged up exactly the way their 30 00:01:27,869 --> 00:01:31,679 government loves them. Nice and energized, full of electricity. 31 00:01:31,949 --> 00:01:33,089 Ready to tapped. 32 00:01:33,420 --> 00:01:34,950 And that'll be it for this week show. 33 00:01:35,520 --> 00:01:41,760 Ready to be sucked dry? I was right, John. To the to the day 34 00:01:41,760 --> 00:01:43,770 two weeks to the day. Yeah, 35 00:01:43,770 --> 00:01:45,450 but it hasn't ended yet. Yeah, 36 00:01:45,480 --> 00:01:49,680 it's it's over because unfill short, no. On Tuesday, we have 37 00:01:49,680 --> 00:01:54,270 the our el presidente today's State of the Union. So 38 00:01:54,270 --> 00:01:57,840 everyone's now talking about jobs, jobs, jobs State of the 39 00:01:57,840 --> 00:02:00,420 Union. We've forgotten about everything. It's over. It's 40 00:02:00,420 --> 00:02:02,130 done. Today is the last day two weeks. 41 00:02:02,580 --> 00:02:05,340 You're right about the Tuesday we'll see it should switch 42 00:02:05,340 --> 00:02:07,800 things over. That should be the turning 43 00:02:07,800 --> 00:02:11,220 point. Yeah. Now I'd say it's with us because they're 44 00:02:11,220 --> 00:02:13,800 all they're doing now is just now every that they finish with 45 00:02:13,800 --> 00:02:18,420 every every every show every angle. Yeah. Then they got every 46 00:02:18,420 --> 00:02:21,840 doctor in the world. Every neurosurgeon has been on the air 47 00:02:21,840 --> 00:02:24,870 these guys shouldn't be on television. Talking about what 48 00:02:24,870 --> 00:02:28,260 possibly can you know as you can see got a tracheotomy and a 49 00:02:28,260 --> 00:02:30,360 bullet went here. The bullet went there. We're kind of 50 00:02:30,360 --> 00:02:31,680 surprised about this. You 51 00:02:31,680 --> 00:02:34,410 had a good flight. She had a good trip she had transport was 52 00:02:34,410 --> 00:02:38,040 good was really I saw her being transported by by ambulance. And 53 00:02:38,040 --> 00:02:40,440 I saw her being transported by helicopter, which was it? 54 00:02:41,910 --> 00:02:44,250 It was both B roll. So who knows exactly? 55 00:02:44,609 --> 00:02:48,749 That's my point. Exactly. Oh, my goodness. Yeah. So of course, 56 00:02:48,749 --> 00:02:53,759 we're talking about the the shooting of the congresswoman. 57 00:02:54,659 --> 00:02:57,869 And that that has now been on the national agenda of these 58 00:02:57,869 --> 00:03:01,529 Gitmo nation states here for for two weeks. And I think it's 59 00:03:01,529 --> 00:03:05,609 done. I think it's completely done. It's over. We'll get some 60 00:03:05,609 --> 00:03:08,039 updates from time to time, it'll be a throwback, and we have like 61 00:03:08,039 --> 00:03:11,939 30 seconds to close out the hour before the top we have to hit 62 00:03:11,939 --> 00:03:14,939 the network break. And that's when we're gonna do a quick 63 00:03:14,939 --> 00:03:19,079 little update, and we'll talk we'll go get some B roll from a 64 00:03:19,079 --> 00:03:23,909 doctor saying that she's doing fine. And everything's good. 65 00:03:25,019 --> 00:03:27,959 Yeah, I think that's gonna be about it. But the most 66 00:03:27,959 --> 00:03:30,779 impressive news, which I think we've already forgotten about 67 00:03:30,779 --> 00:03:36,509 actually happened during the show. On Thursday show it took 68 00:03:36,509 --> 00:03:40,979 place and it just made me smile and laugh and chuckle out loud 69 00:03:41,699 --> 00:03:47,849 as 100 mobsters were arrested on the east coast of United States. 70 00:03:49,109 --> 00:03:55,679 And I just love it how we get how we get a chief of staff in 71 00:03:55,679 --> 00:04:01,499 the White House from a at least suspected crime family, the 72 00:04:01,499 --> 00:04:06,119 Chicago Daily family and two weeks later, every single 73 00:04:06,359 --> 00:04:10,259 mobster on not just New York but Rola Rhode Island they're all 74 00:04:10,289 --> 00:04:12,929 They're all arrested not a single they know there's no mob 75 00:04:12,929 --> 00:04:14,159 in Chicago apparently 76 00:04:14,160 --> 00:04:16,620 apparently not noticed that they rested all the rest of the 77 00:04:17,700 --> 00:04:21,240 and it's like low level guys, too. It's not even it's not like 78 00:04:21,240 --> 00:04:23,310 a crime. You know, top of the line. That 79 00:04:23,310 --> 00:04:26,850 was one old man apparently who you know, was parent, one of the 80 00:04:26,850 --> 00:04:32,040 fathers. I think he's a retired capo. Right. But but you know, 81 00:04:32,070 --> 00:04:32,370 yeah, 82 00:04:32,400 --> 00:04:33,600 you agree with me, right? It's like, 83 00:04:33,630 --> 00:04:38,430 like, why is clean house? One of the movies? Yeah, 84 00:04:39,210 --> 00:04:44,520 I think it totally was and so from the, you know, there's a 85 00:04:44,520 --> 00:04:47,160 lot of paperwork out there in the full list of indictments. 86 00:04:47,280 --> 00:04:49,380 Have you seen the nicknames on these guys? 87 00:04:49,500 --> 00:04:52,860 Yeah, they're great. turned into like a bunch of blogs cropped up 88 00:04:52,860 --> 00:04:53,070 around. 89 00:04:53,580 --> 00:04:58,290 Tony bagels, Johnny bandana, Vinny. carwash. I think Vinny 90 00:04:58,290 --> 00:05:03,810 carwash is great. Fat Dennis The Old Man and the and the 91 00:05:03,810 --> 00:05:06,480 professor you could be that you could be baby shacks. The old 92 00:05:06,480 --> 00:05:14,280 man. Or baby Fat Larry said send you the claw. You know that's 93 00:05:14,280 --> 00:05:16,560 the only guy who was afraid of looking at these nicknames. I 94 00:05:16,560 --> 00:05:19,230 don't want Benji the claws sneaking up on me at night. No, 95 00:05:19,230 --> 00:05:22,260 Benji the claw sounds like sounds like he's got something 96 00:05:22,260 --> 00:05:29,580 bad going on there. Anyway, good work there. Bye. Bye. What? 97 00:05:30,000 --> 00:05:32,970 dame's daily daily. Yeah, good work, good work getting rid. 98 00:05:33,060 --> 00:05:35,250 It's just a little message to all the guys in New York. It's 99 00:05:35,250 --> 00:05:38,490 like, hey, just so you know, we're in charge now. Because it 100 00:05:38,490 --> 00:05:41,010 is separate. Right? The the New York? Very 101 00:05:41,010 --> 00:05:44,040 So yeah, that the New York guys are kind of in a gentlemen's 102 00:05:44,040 --> 00:05:45,930 agreement. There's a bunch of gangs you know, the general 103 00:05:45,930 --> 00:05:49,980 bases to get like five five families or families or six, 104 00:05:50,010 --> 00:05:52,830 right depending. And then Chicago's got its own thing. And 105 00:05:52,830 --> 00:05:57,210 then St. Louis has got its own thing. And Kansas City, as most 106 00:05:57,210 --> 00:06:00,450 of these are kind of not what they used to be. But yeah, the 107 00:06:00,450 --> 00:06:05,010 good old Chicago is closest to still having, you know, pretty 108 00:06:05,490 --> 00:06:07,590 well organized operations. Right. 109 00:06:07,620 --> 00:06:09,930 I just thought it was hilarious thing. I just thought it was 110 00:06:09,930 --> 00:06:12,720 hilarious. Rhode Island, New York, we've gotten more New 111 00:06:12,720 --> 00:06:17,640 England. But Chicago. Nothing going on there. Not a single 112 00:06:17,640 --> 00:06:19,320 mobster to be found. Yeah, no 113 00:06:19,320 --> 00:06:25,290 coincidence. Yeah, right. Unbelievable. So what else? 114 00:06:25,680 --> 00:06:28,650 Oh, well does. Oh, man. There's so much going on. There. 115 00:06:28,650 --> 00:06:32,850 Actually, there was a something else that happened right after, 116 00:06:33,300 --> 00:06:35,670 right after the show. Actually, I think I think I didn't know 117 00:06:35,670 --> 00:06:38,820 about it just before the show. We know we we've been following 118 00:06:38,820 --> 00:06:42,630 and tracking the Hollywood whackers for a while ever since. 119 00:06:42,690 --> 00:06:43,140 Randy, 120 00:06:43,200 --> 00:06:45,720 you have more than me, because you're down there. And you get 121 00:06:45,720 --> 00:06:46,410 to gossip. 122 00:06:46,440 --> 00:06:49,140 Yeah, I'm in the middle. Yo, Emil, you. 123 00:06:49,619 --> 00:06:51,509 Middle you. Yeah, you and 124 00:06:52,830 --> 00:06:56,640 so there was a suicide the day after the Golden Globe Awards, 125 00:06:56,640 --> 00:07:00,540 one of the Hollywood foreign press Association members, in an 126 00:07:00,600 --> 00:07:04,950 apparent as everyone reports it, apparent suicide, shot himself 127 00:07:04,950 --> 00:07:10,320 in the head. Why? Well, this kind of, I think this might 128 00:07:10,320 --> 00:07:14,310 actually be a real suicide. But it's not unrelated to the 129 00:07:14,310 --> 00:07:18,450 problems with with the mob in Hollywood. Also, no mobsters 130 00:07:18,450 --> 00:07:20,670 picked up here? Because it's the real mob, the Russian mob, you 131 00:07:20,670 --> 00:07:24,690 don't want to mess with them? No, this was Max B. Miller, 132 00:07:25,260 --> 00:07:30,420 older gentleman, he is a photo journalist. And, you know, those 133 00:07:30,420 --> 00:07:33,510 are all the allegations. And there's actual lawsuit now from 134 00:07:33,510 --> 00:07:35,760 the PR firm against the Hollywood foreign press 135 00:07:35,760 --> 00:07:39,960 Association, that that states that the whole thing is corrupt. 136 00:07:39,960 --> 00:07:41,820 And it's all about it's all about money at the end of the 137 00:07:41,820 --> 00:07:44,100 day, because if you win a Golden Globe, then you already seeing 138 00:07:44,100 --> 00:07:47,970 it now on television is being used as a perfect PR mechanism 139 00:07:47,970 --> 00:07:50,520 to start promoting the Oscars, which I think is pretty that is 140 00:07:50,520 --> 00:07:55,680 a real award show, although questionable, here and there as 141 00:07:55,680 --> 00:07:58,650 well. But this Hollywood foreign press, you know, everyone's like 142 00:07:58,650 --> 00:08:03,870 selling their votes, essentially, for whatever. And I 143 00:08:03,870 --> 00:08:07,050 was reading a couple of articles about this, about this Max B. 144 00:08:07,050 --> 00:08:09,990 Miller, quote here, he never really recovered from his 145 00:08:09,990 --> 00:08:13,620 divorce, his business was going down. He barely had any income 146 00:08:13,800 --> 00:08:17,160 the past few months. And this was like a major guy. This is 147 00:08:17,160 --> 00:08:21,330 one of the guys who was voting. Everyone was taking advantage of 148 00:08:21,330 --> 00:08:24,870 his generosity. Uh huh. And last but not least, he was so worried 149 00:08:24,870 --> 00:08:27,720 about his son's future, which I wasn't able to track anything 150 00:08:27,720 --> 00:08:29,640 down on that. So probably this 151 00:08:29,910 --> 00:08:32,790 that probably has something to do with the that's actually a 152 00:08:32,790 --> 00:08:33,930 mob reference. Yes, 153 00:08:33,960 --> 00:08:37,080 that's the mob reference. And I think a 154 00:08:37,110 --> 00:08:39,390 because the Russians like to you know, that's a little Stalin 155 00:08:39,390 --> 00:08:41,430 thing they would not they would not do they take out your 156 00:08:41,430 --> 00:08:44,490 family. Of course they kill everybody, Grandma, you know, 157 00:08:44,520 --> 00:08:45,540 starting with grandma. 158 00:08:46,800 --> 00:08:49,290 So that's, that's your Russian mob reference. And I think that 159 00:08:49,290 --> 00:08:54,360 the guy felt really bad. He was older. Like in his early 70s. He 160 00:08:54,360 --> 00:08:57,420 probably felt really horrible about what he had done. He had 161 00:08:57,420 --> 00:09:02,430 sold out his vote. And because he had to, like most of these 162 00:09:02,430 --> 00:09:05,910 guys, these these people have no got no money. There's the part 163 00:09:05,910 --> 00:09:09,390 time journalist taking pictures. Anyway, a couple of good links 164 00:09:09,870 --> 00:09:13,950 under the Hollywood whackers heading at no agenda show.com in 165 00:09:13,950 --> 00:09:20,610 the show notes, just more fuel on the fire there. There's, it's 166 00:09:20,610 --> 00:09:23,760 it's a nutty thing that's going on here. And no one apparently 167 00:09:23,760 --> 00:09:27,720 seems to really see it. You're the only guy who wasn't there 168 00:09:27,720 --> 00:09:30,600 who I think is now elevated to a status above everyone in 169 00:09:30,600 --> 00:09:31,650 Hollywood is Clooney. 170 00:09:33,330 --> 00:09:34,800 Cool, he has malaria. 171 00:09:38,340 --> 00:09:43,980 Oh man, no, he he's, luckily because of good medicine. If 172 00:09:43,980 --> 00:09:46,380 only he had had the vaccine, John. 173 00:09:49,980 --> 00:09:52,890 Well, all I know is he has malaria, so he couldn't make it. 174 00:09:53,250 --> 00:09:56,100 It wasn't. That's not why he didn't go. Sure yet. 175 00:09:56,130 --> 00:09:59,580 If you got malaria, you're not going he's had malaria 176 00:09:59,580 --> 00:10:03,090 for a while. Well now it's it flares up you Didn't you watch 177 00:10:03,090 --> 00:10:04,230 him on Piers Morgan? 178 00:10:05,970 --> 00:10:08,730 I missed that. Oh my god, I got some Piers Morgan. 179 00:10:08,880 --> 00:10:10,110 I got some quizzes. How 180 00:10:10,110 --> 00:10:11,550 did I miss that one? Well, 181 00:10:11,580 --> 00:10:16,140 you know Piers Morgan of course is failing as predicted. And no 182 00:10:16,140 --> 00:10:18,270 one's watching Piers Morgan you can't can't 183 00:10:18,270 --> 00:10:21,570 watch the guy he's a British twit. You can't even like 184 00:10:21,570 --> 00:10:23,400 watching the Monty Python show. 185 00:10:23,580 --> 00:10:27,090 You can't eat you can't even get ratings with Clooney you got a 186 00:10:27,090 --> 00:10:31,800 problem. Here's here's Clooney on on the Piers Morgan show. 187 00:10:31,980 --> 00:10:35,070 I was gonna start this final segment with you by asking you 188 00:10:35,070 --> 00:10:38,190 about the glory of being George Clooney. But you've just told me 189 00:10:38,190 --> 00:10:40,890 that you've got a bad a malaria doesn't sound that great. 190 00:10:42,420 --> 00:10:45,840 Well, you know, even with malaria, it's just good fun. 191 00:10:48,900 --> 00:10:52,140 Being George Clooney is just good fun, even Yeah. 192 00:10:53,520 --> 00:10:55,440 I mean, what? Oh, it 193 00:10:55,440 --> 00:10:58,020 reminds me that time he was on Letterman, and Letterman says, 194 00:10:58,140 --> 00:11:00,840 you just get all the chicks, don't you? Yeah. 195 00:11:00,900 --> 00:11:03,870 And that was the one. Yeah. Oops. Sorry about 196 00:11:03,990 --> 00:11:06,840 the overheating. I thought it was down to me. But it turns out 197 00:11:06,840 --> 00:11:09,900 is actually this. I mean, you do get malaria flare ups quite 198 00:11:09,900 --> 00:11:10,530 regularly. 199 00:11:11,760 --> 00:11:15,390 No, I've had it twice. This is just I just the, you know, some, 200 00:11:15,750 --> 00:11:18,990 I guess the mosquito and Juba looked at me and thought I was 201 00:11:18,990 --> 00:11:19,650 the bar. 202 00:11:21,210 --> 00:11:28,110 Which I didn't get that joke. The mosquito in Juba, who's Juba 203 00:11:28,200 --> 00:11:32,160 the Juba is I guess it's a place in Sudan. 204 00:11:33,900 --> 00:11:39,750 I guess that's his girlfriend. Girlfriend named Juba. Maybe 205 00:11:39,750 --> 00:11:40,740 this chat room knows 206 00:11:41,520 --> 00:11:45,210 and he says I thought I thought I was the bar it's like it 207 00:11:45,210 --> 00:11:47,430 wasn't even funny. George was like, Okay, 208 00:11:47,640 --> 00:11:49,530 well, what's his name laughed 209 00:11:49,560 --> 00:11:54,330 because Pierce's a suck up. All he does is laugh as more 210 00:11:54,660 --> 00:11:57,060 George Clooney contracted malaria. 211 00:11:57,090 --> 00:12:00,030 This is actually the Reuters video report which is what this 212 00:12:00,030 --> 00:12:03,720 is is better because that has all the all the great memes in 213 00:12:03,720 --> 00:12:03,900 it 214 00:12:04,560 --> 00:12:08,550 during a trip to Sudan earlier this month, but is now fully 215 00:12:08,550 --> 00:12:11,460 cured. According to I spoke to you or adults benefit the Oscar 216 00:12:11,460 --> 00:12:14,940 winning actor, a frequent visitor to the war torn nation 217 00:12:15,030 --> 00:12:17,670 Cloney was helping draw attention to a historic 218 00:12:17,670 --> 00:12:20,550 referendum on independence for residents of the mainly 219 00:12:20,550 --> 00:12:23,460 Christian south. According to a statement released by his 220 00:12:23,460 --> 00:12:27,060 publicist, it was clearly second bout with the disease. It quoted 221 00:12:27,060 --> 00:12:30,180 him as saying quote, this illustrates with proper 222 00:12:30,180 --> 00:12:31,650 medication, the most least 223 00:12:32,490 --> 00:12:38,070 proper medications so we got Africa war torn medication, 224 00:12:38,070 --> 00:12:41,790 proper medication, so it's like a spokesperson they've added on 225 00:12:41,790 --> 00:12:43,230 another gig he's taken on 226 00:12:43,530 --> 00:12:49,320 was also gives Clooney a note of martyrdom. Guys got malaria 227 00:12:49,350 --> 00:12:49,980 twice 228 00:12:51,030 --> 00:12:55,200 in Africa can be reduced to a bad 10 days instead of a death 229 00:12:55,200 --> 00:12:55,980 sentence. 230 00:12:56,310 --> 00:13:00,300 News instead of a death sentence. Right. His 231 00:13:00,300 --> 00:13:03,930 illness first broke in a tweet from CNN chat show host Piers 232 00:13:03,930 --> 00:13:08,520 Morgan Clooney as a guest on his show Friday, January 21. He may 233 00:13:08,520 --> 00:13:08,700 not 234 00:13:08,700 --> 00:13:12,870 have malaria at all waters. I'm thinking now that it was a deal 235 00:13:12,870 --> 00:13:16,110 that Pierce knew because the news broke or motion 236 00:13:16,200 --> 00:13:21,060 everyone was Jose anything is a promotion publicity stunt a scam 237 00:13:21,090 --> 00:13:24,480 it possibly is. Why would you wait, if you have malaria? And 238 00:13:24,480 --> 00:13:27,510 you were Why would you tell Piers Morgan? And not anyone 239 00:13:27,510 --> 00:13:27,990 else? 240 00:13:28,020 --> 00:13:30,600 Yeah, really? It makes no sense. You're good. I think you caught 241 00:13:30,600 --> 00:13:30,960 one. 242 00:13:31,560 --> 00:13:35,820 So and all the news reports were quoting a tweet from Pierce. 243 00:13:36,150 --> 00:13:39,900 Like, that's not news. That's not how you report news. 244 00:13:41,400 --> 00:13:45,690 This is a last ditch effort to get it to come on the show that 245 00:13:45,690 --> 00:13:47,700 nobody's gonna watch anyway. You can promote, you know, you can 246 00:13:47,700 --> 00:13:50,880 get people to watch it once. Or I've watched it once. 247 00:13:50,910 --> 00:13:53,760 Yeah, you watch the Condoleezza Rice and you turned it off in 248 00:13:53,760 --> 00:13:54,420 disgust. 249 00:13:54,900 --> 00:13:57,270 Well, I just turned it off, because it's just boring. He's 250 00:13:57,270 --> 00:14:00,060 like, he's fascinated with whether she has the sniffles or 251 00:14:00,060 --> 00:14:03,510 not. I mean, he doesn't get into any meat. I mean, Larry King, 252 00:14:03,750 --> 00:14:06,420 you know, even though people think he was a softball tosser, 253 00:14:06,540 --> 00:14:09,180 at least he tossed the ball it just got his name a ball to 254 00:14:09,180 --> 00:14:09,750 toss. 255 00:14:11,490 --> 00:14:19,470 It was thought was very, very interesting. I did watch the I 256 00:14:19,470 --> 00:14:24,570 watched the interview with with Pierce and actually it was 257 00:14:24,570 --> 00:14:28,110 Pierce was interviewing George and his dad. 258 00:14:28,650 --> 00:14:31,500 Oh, he George always has a handler now one of the somebody 259 00:14:31,530 --> 00:14:35,700 that says handler and I did the day I did, I did pull a couple 260 00:14:35,700 --> 00:14:40,950 of clips the first one which I thought was outstanding. In in 261 00:14:40,950 --> 00:14:46,410 its ability to make me pissed off and angry. Was Clooney now 262 00:14:46,410 --> 00:14:48,780 talk because he of course, is like, you know, Pierce is very 263 00:14:48,780 --> 00:14:52,890 interested in the showbiz angle. I care. Why are you in this? Why 264 00:14:52,890 --> 00:14:56,250 are you doing this George? And he talks about other things he's 265 00:14:56,250 --> 00:14:58,260 done, which he's been so committed to doing. 266 00:14:58,560 --> 00:15:03,600 There are lots of Hollywood Did stars who latched on to causes 267 00:15:03,690 --> 00:15:06,630 and sometimes more than one, I saw an interesting thing that 268 00:15:06,630 --> 00:15:08,880 you said recently where you said it the important thing if you're 269 00:15:08,880 --> 00:15:12,810 going to do this, you choose one cause and you commit yourself to 270 00:15:12,810 --> 00:15:15,360 it properly and you are passionate about that cause 271 00:15:16,590 --> 00:15:20,010 expand on that for me, but also explain perhaps in more detail 272 00:15:20,010 --> 00:15:22,800 why it was Sudan for you that really caught your attention 273 00:15:22,800 --> 00:15:25,050 your passion? Well, first of all, 274 00:15:25,050 --> 00:15:30,690 I think the idea is that you have to you can you know, I, you 275 00:15:30,690 --> 00:15:33,540 know, worked on the Haiti telethon, for instance, or the 276 00:15:33,540 --> 00:15:37,500 tsunami telethon. There's things you can do that you can get 277 00:15:37,500 --> 00:15:39,930 involved in, you know, Katrina there there are elements that 278 00:15:39,930 --> 00:15:40,320 you can 279 00:15:40,800 --> 00:15:44,670 notice he he talked just briefly right there the Haiti thing, you 280 00:15:44,670 --> 00:15:48,360 know, Haiti thing, George, I have, and if I were Pearson has 281 00:15:48,360 --> 00:15:51,120 some follow up on the Haiti thing, Mister, I'm replacing 282 00:15:51,120 --> 00:15:52,050 Larry King, that 283 00:15:52,110 --> 00:15:55,230 doesn't mean that you can only be involved in one. But if 284 00:15:55,230 --> 00:15:58,200 there's one that you care about, you have to be informed you have 285 00:15:58,200 --> 00:16:01,440 to really you have to be able to 286 00:16:01,770 --> 00:16:04,440 you have to be informed get to really know what's going on and 287 00:16:04,440 --> 00:16:07,650 hate answer the critics. You have to get the critics like the 288 00:16:07,650 --> 00:16:11,160 no agenda show who are critical of your handling of taking all 289 00:16:11,160 --> 00:16:12,150 the money Jordan able 290 00:16:12,150 --> 00:16:16,140 to and sometimes those critics been, for instance, Omar Al 291 00:16:16,140 --> 00:16:16,800 Bashir is, 292 00:16:16,830 --> 00:16:20,460 um, that Omar Al Bashir, I'm Adam curry critic, I have to be 293 00:16:20,460 --> 00:16:20,580 able 294 00:16:20,580 --> 00:16:23,310 to answer him, you know, I have to be able to answer when I sit 295 00:16:23,310 --> 00:16:26,580 in front of the Security Council, one of the rotating 296 00:16:26,580 --> 00:16:29,910 members of the Security Council or the Chinese ambassador, when 297 00:16:29,910 --> 00:16:32,070 they say, well, these are just rebels, you can say, well, 298 00:16:32,070 --> 00:16:35,310 rebels don't have tanks anyway, play, you have to be informed on 299 00:16:35,310 --> 00:16:39,900 it. And I think that that's the, the reason that you have to try 300 00:16:39,900 --> 00:16:43,230 to when I say pick one, it doesn't mean don't help other 301 00:16:43,230 --> 00:16:44,850 people. It just means like, Damn, 302 00:16:45,630 --> 00:16:49,410 he always starts to stammer when he's when he's unsure, touching 303 00:16:49,410 --> 00:16:53,190 his nose the whole time, all the telltale signs, because he 304 00:16:53,190 --> 00:16:56,940 clearly he went out and brought brought in tons of money for 305 00:16:56,940 --> 00:17:00,120 Haiti. And he's, it was so incredibly real. Um, so you have 306 00:17:00,120 --> 00:17:03,450 to be so incredibly involved. You have to really think about 307 00:17:03,450 --> 00:17:07,560 it. And it's bullcrap. Because you know, now would be the time 308 00:17:07,560 --> 00:17:09,930 for George Clooney to stand up and say, hey, you know, this is 309 00:17:09,930 --> 00:17:13,500 really not okay. Because these people haven't received the 310 00:17:13,500 --> 00:17:14,820 money. It's all been stolen. 311 00:17:15,119 --> 00:17:18,389 It'd be a good day. If he did that right now, or if then then 312 00:17:18,419 --> 00:17:19,529 I would 313 00:17:19,529 --> 00:17:21,839 retract everything I've said about George Clooney. If he did 314 00:17:21,839 --> 00:17:22,499 that right now. 315 00:17:23,010 --> 00:17:23,880 Yeah, does he? 316 00:17:24,150 --> 00:17:30,840 Of course not. Of course not. But because we know that he's a 317 00:17:30,840 --> 00:17:34,650 CIA asset. And I have just before we get to our people, we 318 00:17:34,650 --> 00:17:37,170 need to thank this morning before producers I think we have 319 00:17:37,170 --> 00:17:41,310 one or two. If you listen to the following bits from this 320 00:17:41,310 --> 00:17:44,160 fantastic in depth interview, this setup and by the way, 321 00:17:44,160 --> 00:17:47,100 Clooney isn't even in the studio. He's on satellite. His 322 00:17:47,100 --> 00:17:50,070 dad is in the studio, which is weird. 323 00:17:50,280 --> 00:17:53,580 You can't do it, you know, it's pointless. Yeah. 324 00:17:54,149 --> 00:17:58,949 So if you listen to this bit with and bear in mind that 325 00:17:59,069 --> 00:18:02,939 Clooney is a CIA asset, it gets really funny when you listen to 326 00:18:02,939 --> 00:18:06,839 what he's saying. So Pierce brings up the spying via 327 00:18:06,839 --> 00:18:11,159 satellite. And isn't that weird? Seeing is that George Clooney 328 00:18:11,159 --> 00:18:14,789 himself sued hardcopy Entertainment Tonight remember 329 00:18:14,789 --> 00:18:17,189 this a couple of years ago John, he was like because they were 330 00:18:17,189 --> 00:18:21,239 invading on his privacy. Oh, yeah. And he was he was leading 331 00:18:21,239 --> 00:18:23,819 a huge charge of and this is when actually it's a little bit 332 00:18:23,819 --> 00:18:29,249 longer a few years ago after Princess Diana was assassinated, 333 00:18:29,669 --> 00:18:33,389 so called by paparazzi that's when of course there was George 334 00:18:33,389 --> 00:18:35,969 to go and cover it all up all the paparazzi are bad please 335 00:18:35,969 --> 00:18:38,489 don't look over here to who might have actually assassinated 336 00:18:38,489 --> 00:18:42,059 her and there was George already an early asset and so it's kind 337 00:18:42,059 --> 00:18:46,319 of ironic that he is now spying down to a one foot in diameter 338 00:18:46,319 --> 00:18:48,599 in in in Sudan 339 00:18:48,630 --> 00:18:52,080 certain irony I guess, that you're now deploying, 340 00:18:52,620 --> 00:18:56,520 effectively paparazzi covert photography in the Sudan. Now, 341 00:18:56,700 --> 00:19:00,210 I'm sure you will argue quite rightly that it's it's obviously 342 00:19:00,210 --> 00:19:02,700 ostensibly in the public interest. Right? 343 00:19:03,780 --> 00:19:07,830 When you're interviewing somebody, you do not give them 344 00:19:07,830 --> 00:19:11,970 the answer and then approve of the pre approved answer by 345 00:19:11,970 --> 00:19:14,100 saying the words quite rightly. 346 00:19:14,490 --> 00:19:17,940 But that's what it is. Thank you for assassinating an IDI 347 00:19:17,970 --> 00:19:20,940 I mean, this is bogus. This is like Well, Adam, I'm sure you'll 348 00:19:20,940 --> 00:19:23,670 agree with me when you when I tell you that of course you know 349 00:19:23,670 --> 00:19:26,820 this already. You know, that kind of kind of interviewing is 350 00:19:26,820 --> 00:19:27,840 not interviewing. 351 00:19:28,379 --> 00:19:31,319 Oh, but that's the whole point is taking the mind that this is 352 00:19:31,319 --> 00:19:34,829 the Ministry of Truth. And wait, wait, wait, wait, wait till was 353 00:19:34,829 --> 00:19:35,159 dead? 354 00:19:35,430 --> 00:19:38,190 British Virgin we never use that the US when we do that pull this 355 00:19:38,190 --> 00:19:42,120 crap. We don't go. Well, Adam, you're gonna say quite rightly, 356 00:19:42,150 --> 00:19:44,340 because if you don't, if you don't say that it wouldn't be 357 00:19:44,340 --> 00:19:47,940 quite right. You have to be right. What do you say? Rightly? 358 00:19:47,970 --> 00:19:49,290 John said quite rarely, 359 00:19:49,860 --> 00:19:53,790 but it made me wonder both for you and your father. Where you 360 00:19:53,790 --> 00:19:57,810 think the line should be drawn with photography and pepper ad 361 00:19:57,810 --> 00:19:58,500 sets. 362 00:19:58,830 --> 00:20:00,360 So you know, here's Uh, 363 00:20:00,540 --> 00:20:04,110 not that again. Jesse said photography just general because 364 00:20:04,110 --> 00:20:05,940 we'd had last show we talked about. 365 00:20:05,970 --> 00:20:08,730 That's what that's what I'm getting to stay tuned, it gets 366 00:20:08,730 --> 00:20:11,730 better. These people are about to tell you where you're at 367 00:20:11,730 --> 00:20:13,620 slave listen to this. This is great. 368 00:20:13,650 --> 00:20:16,020 I'm also watching your house 369 00:20:19,980 --> 00:20:22,260 this is how you set it into the mind of people. I'm watching 370 00:20:22,260 --> 00:20:23,970 your house piers. 371 00:20:25,260 --> 00:20:29,790 Not just this. Oh, yes. And we'll talk about it later. Cash. 372 00:20:29,790 --> 00:20:29,970 Can 373 00:20:30,450 --> 00:20:33,420 you hear the fake laugh, right? Because this the joke was set 374 00:20:33,420 --> 00:20:36,030 up, because you need to understand that your house is 375 00:20:36,030 --> 00:20:39,270 being watched by George Clooney, but you are being watched. And 376 00:20:39,300 --> 00:20:41,430 just listen to this. This is amazing. My 377 00:20:41,640 --> 00:20:44,550 manual girlfriend just good friends. Alright, she was just 378 00:20:46,170 --> 00:20:53,700 we just we just mad. Drink a lot of milk. You know what? 379 00:20:55,020 --> 00:20:56,880 I mean, as one of the most photographed guys in the world, 380 00:20:56,880 --> 00:20:59,310 where do you think the line should be? I'll tell you why I 381 00:20:59,310 --> 00:21:02,460 asked this. I suppose as an editor, I would play devil's 382 00:21:02,460 --> 00:21:05,400 advocate and say this to you. How do you feel specifically 383 00:21:05,760 --> 00:21:09,450 about say a famous actor or actress who said, 384 00:21:09,570 --> 00:21:11,280 forget that listen to his dad. 385 00:21:11,700 --> 00:21:14,340 So one more thing I want to point out here for 386 00:21:14,340 --> 00:21:20,010 deconstructing purposes. When somebody's you know, instead of 387 00:21:20,010 --> 00:21:26,490 just asking hard questions, he he kind of says to play devil's 388 00:21:26,520 --> 00:21:30,420 advocate, which is, essentially means he doesn't agree that he's 389 00:21:30,420 --> 00:21:34,230 gonna be asking these. It's a very interesting trick. It's not 390 00:21:34,230 --> 00:21:37,650 a trick. It's actually kind of a disclaimer. In other words, I, 391 00:21:37,650 --> 00:21:42,360 you know, I am agreeing with everything you say. And but just 392 00:21:42,360 --> 00:21:44,400 to play devil's advocate, because somebody out there is 393 00:21:44,400 --> 00:21:47,910 going to want me to really ask a hard question. So I'm going to 394 00:21:47,910 --> 00:21:51,180 play devil's advocate and ask what's kind of a hard question, 395 00:21:51,180 --> 00:21:54,720 but I'm already on your side on the answer. It's just the whole 396 00:21:54,720 --> 00:21:59,220 thing is bad. It's really bad form this guy has, which is why 397 00:21:59,220 --> 00:22:00,300 he's gonna get files, their 398 00:22:00,300 --> 00:22:03,000 wedding or their baby's christening for a million 399 00:22:03,000 --> 00:22:04,680 dollars, and they keep it so 400 00:22:04,680 --> 00:22:07,050 he goes into some of that Hollywood bullcrap. But then he 401 00:22:07,290 --> 00:22:10,350 appears ghost goes to his dad, because this is where the real 402 00:22:10,350 --> 00:22:12,330 message comes in from his handling emails 403 00:22:12,330 --> 00:22:15,270 make him and you you are a newsman. And you've you know, 404 00:22:15,330 --> 00:22:18,660 there is a fine line here because the commercialization of 405 00:22:18,660 --> 00:22:22,200 celebrity, particularly the last 10 years, has been such that 406 00:22:22,200 --> 00:22:25,860 many celebrities consult with paparazzi, I know that from the 407 00:22:25,860 --> 00:22:28,230 other side of the fence, we make money out of the 408 00:22:28,980 --> 00:22:32,700 we've lost privacy's, we might as well just admit that Do you 409 00:22:32,700 --> 00:22:33,600 hear that slaves? 410 00:22:33,780 --> 00:22:38,520 Hey, this is from a journalist. This is from the George Clooney 411 00:22:38,520 --> 00:22:40,710 is daddy's good journalists, eight Listen, slaves, you have 412 00:22:40,710 --> 00:22:42,660 no privacy, you might as well just admit that 413 00:22:42,690 --> 00:22:44,880 some of the Supreme Court rulings, some things that have 414 00:22:44,880 --> 00:22:48,870 happened after that there is no relatively speaking, there is 415 00:22:48,900 --> 00:22:51,300 little or no privacy left, just so 416 00:22:51,300 --> 00:22:54,690 you know. You have no problem. My son doesn't have it. You 417 00:22:54,690 --> 00:22:58,140 don't have it. So therefore, we none of us have it. This is the 418 00:22:58,140 --> 00:22:59,910 message from the Ministry of Truth 419 00:23:00,330 --> 00:23:03,000 anymore. That battle has already been lost. 420 00:23:04,680 --> 00:23:09,600 As a serious journalist, unbelievable. Yeah, so I could 421 00:23:09,600 --> 00:23:11,310 go on. He actually you could go 422 00:23:11,310 --> 00:23:15,180 on. In fact, another thing that bugs me, Piers Morgan says the 423 00:23:15,180 --> 00:23:17,640 paparazzi and he says particularly in the last 10 424 00:23:17,640 --> 00:23:22,770 years, is it bull crap? The last 10 years. The funny 425 00:23:22,770 --> 00:23:26,820 thing is Clooney at the end, somewhere in one of these bits 426 00:23:26,820 --> 00:23:30,990 is like, you know, Bono used to do a good job at all this and 427 00:23:31,650 --> 00:23:36,300 essentially saying, you know, Banos out barley. Really, yeah, 428 00:23:36,300 --> 00:23:40,620 I think Banos out. Did you see him at the sergeant Shrivers 429 00:23:41,220 --> 00:23:44,610 way? No. So I couldn't put up with much of the Sergeant 430 00:23:44,610 --> 00:23:45,150 Shriver Yeah, 431 00:23:45,180 --> 00:23:48,030 well, I didn't watch any of it. But I saw stuff on the news and 432 00:23:48,030 --> 00:23:50,640 I saw like Bill Clinton and you know, he's cracking jokes. 433 00:23:51,150 --> 00:23:54,600 Shriver was what 95 So I had a great life, the celebration of 434 00:23:54,600 --> 00:23:57,720 life, and the Barnum's there with the edge complaints and 435 00:23:57,720 --> 00:24:01,740 like, so, the edge is playing acoustic guitar and Banos. Oh, 436 00:24:01,740 --> 00:24:05,010 got to do with Sargent Shriver, because he's all part of the 437 00:24:05,010 --> 00:24:07,110 elite man. That's 438 00:24:07,110 --> 00:24:10,590 what Shriver and Bano hanging out Vinny? It's 439 00:24:10,590 --> 00:24:14,850 a it's the Kleiner Perkins connection. There's a connection 440 00:24:14,850 --> 00:24:18,240 there. The Shrivers are connected to KP. With the 441 00:24:18,240 --> 00:24:20,880 Special Olympics and the Peace Corps. Come on, man, the Peace 442 00:24:20,880 --> 00:24:24,690 Corps understand how that works. I have to explain it to you. To 443 00:24:24,690 --> 00:24:29,160 all the elites in the morning to all the elites. Well, in 444 00:24:29,160 --> 00:24:32,700 the morning to our producers. Yes. We have a few I believe we 445 00:24:32,700 --> 00:24:38,070 have. We're having a new Uber title called Special executive 446 00:24:38,070 --> 00:24:38,880 producer. 447 00:24:39,450 --> 00:24:45,420 A really? Oh, hold on a second. Special executive producer. All 448 00:24:45,420 --> 00:24:45,690 right. 449 00:24:45,720 --> 00:24:49,710 Yeah, this is that I'm of the opinion at least currently, this 450 00:24:49,710 --> 00:24:56,040 is probably going to only go to Baron von Pels. When he chimes 451 00:24:56,040 --> 00:24:59,310 in, we have to give him a kind of a shout out in a different 452 00:24:59,310 --> 00:25:02,580 way. So he'll be our executive special executive producer for 453 00:25:02,580 --> 00:25:06,600 today's show. You gave us $1,111.11 Because apparently he 454 00:25:06,600 --> 00:25:10,620 thinks that well he doesn't think he has the impression let 455 00:25:10,620 --> 00:25:13,260 me just read his note always catching up to the older shows. 456 00:25:13,560 --> 00:25:16,920 Just got the show number 250. He's way behind. Sorry. He says 457 00:25:16,950 --> 00:25:21,330 I heard that I'm basically paying Adams rent. So I guess 458 00:25:21,330 --> 00:25:24,330 I'd better continue wouldn't want to allow him to have no 459 00:25:24,330 --> 00:25:29,790 roof over his head. Barn if Mark is so much more importantly, 460 00:25:29,790 --> 00:25:32,400 today's bought a little karma to our family or more correctly to 461 00:25:32,400 --> 00:25:37,560 my dearest wife, Catherine. She was in town, a leash and got her 462 00:25:37,560 --> 00:25:42,270 personally. I think it's the edge. The edge, Cubby and got 463 00:25:42,270 --> 00:25:46,410 her purse brazenly stolen while enjoying breakfast with a 464 00:25:46,410 --> 00:25:49,470 friend. It's amazing how much Kony some people call him and 465 00:25:49,470 --> 00:25:50,550 he's he uses that word in 466 00:25:50,580 --> 00:25:53,520 Belgium Baron von Pels. mockers Wow shocked me. 467 00:25:53,610 --> 00:25:57,540 Some people had to walk off with a person a busy eatery, but I 468 00:25:57,540 --> 00:26:00,030 guess that's par for the course in these economically uncertain 469 00:26:00,030 --> 00:26:03,120 times the usual rigmarole of getting cards, blocked mobile 470 00:26:03,120 --> 00:26:08,010 phones, missing car keys missing etc. We're not We're not that 471 00:26:08,010 --> 00:26:11,790 some gentleman a real one found her purse A little while later 472 00:26:11,790 --> 00:26:15,600 and all that was missing was the cache. All the rest was still 473 00:26:15,600 --> 00:26:19,140 there and the good man even took the trouble to come drop it off. 474 00:26:19,530 --> 00:26:23,190 So the karma gods are 99% on the ball today and one cannot ever 475 00:26:23,190 --> 00:26:25,740 be thankful enough for that. Hence, I would like to dedicate 476 00:26:25,740 --> 00:26:30,090 this special 1111 knighthood to add another Dame to the table, 477 00:26:30,090 --> 00:26:36,600 namely Catherine Pels, mockers Mohsen. I doubt if ever I made 478 00:26:36,600 --> 00:26:39,780 her listen she would find she doesn't listen. 479 00:26:40,260 --> 00:26:42,600 I don't think it's family knows what he's doing with their money 480 00:26:42,630 --> 00:26:44,790 this do you have that feeling? 481 00:26:45,750 --> 00:26:49,110 You have every leader Listen, she would find much to 482 00:26:49,110 --> 00:26:53,640 appreciate in the show or and all she does is she would find 483 00:26:53,640 --> 00:26:56,550 much to appreciate in the show or theories by Hey, 484 00:26:56,580 --> 00:26:59,610 what do we name her or not? Yeah, we might How come she's 485 00:26:59,610 --> 00:27:00,930 not on the list? She'll 486 00:27:00,930 --> 00:27:05,100 be she'll be the unknown dame. Yeah, why isn't she on the list? 487 00:27:05,460 --> 00:27:09,390 Because our Eric's too busy bitching about boarding passes. 488 00:27:12,540 --> 00:27:16,050 And then we have an executive producer Karis, Kelly, spunk 489 00:27:16,050 --> 00:27:19,260 Berg Black Knight Kelly, as we call him in the real world. 490 00:27:19,710 --> 00:27:23,100 Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, Canada where all the money is 491 00:27:23,340 --> 00:27:26,280 second installment for Dallas spunk Berg's knighthood Dame 492 00:27:26,280 --> 00:27:29,520 Andrei and sort Kelly will be attending Macworld 2011 no hope 493 00:27:29,520 --> 00:27:31,860 and no agenda meetup in San Francisco that week to help 494 00:27:31,860 --> 00:27:35,580 propagate the formula. Set it up I'll try to show up also if 495 00:27:35,580 --> 00:27:39,210 things get too hot in the USA, remember we Canadians welcome 496 00:27:39,210 --> 00:27:42,660 immigrants as long as they have a no agenda challenge coin. 497 00:27:43,860 --> 00:27:45,330 mothership boarding passes. 498 00:27:47,700 --> 00:27:50,970 Perfect. And finally Jared forester of ridge 503 00:28:08,970 --> 00:28:15,870 Ridge, Regina rhymes with Saskatchewan, California. And 504 00:28:15,870 --> 00:28:18,120 this should finish the knighthood layaway, so he'll be 505 00:28:18,120 --> 00:28:21,540 served Jared, halfway through the show. And this is 506 00:28:21,540 --> 00:28:26,430 interesting because we have three people of the four 507 00:28:26,430 --> 00:28:29,370 executive producers that aren't even Americans. They're out of 508 00:28:29,370 --> 00:28:32,400 the country to Canadians. We want to thank them a lot. And 509 00:28:32,400 --> 00:28:35,310 then we have somebody in Florida so we actually have no Americans 510 00:28:36,870 --> 00:28:39,930 at all that that we're executive producers this week we have a 511 00:28:40,110 --> 00:28:42,720 Floridian Oh, and I've got one more I'm sorry, I'm wrong. 512 00:28:42,990 --> 00:28:47,550 Stephen Lydic in Dallas, Texas. $205. It just goes to show how how sad the state of affairs is 526 00:29:27,630 --> 00:29:31,170 in the United States of Gitmo nation. Yeah, no one cares. 527 00:29:32,820 --> 00:29:35,610 But you know what tonight, Texas might not even be counted as 528 00:29:35,610 --> 00:29:36,090 American 529 00:29:36,540 --> 00:29:41,250 tonight to Kim and Khloe Take on New York. First of all, Matt Stewart who did his PR 539 00:30:10,950 --> 00:30:15,000 duties yesterday in the future shop. He took a picture of it 540 00:30:15,000 --> 00:30:18,840 and they might have taken a video of it actually. And he did 541 00:30:18,840 --> 00:30:22,350 take a video of it. I think I've got it playing here. Which is 542 00:30:22,350 --> 00:30:25,770 something I encourage everyone to do. He went to the future 543 00:30:25,770 --> 00:30:29,880 stop and left the latest episode of no agenda playing on an iPad. 544 00:30:29,880 --> 00:30:33,240 They're in the shop. Right? Yeah, it's great. Just go ahead 545 00:30:33,240 --> 00:30:36,120 and turn that on and on. Go to the Apple store. That's a good 546 00:30:36,120 --> 00:30:39,150 place to do it as well. I received John I don't know if 547 00:30:39,150 --> 00:30:43,260 you received I received a no agenda 1010 10 Super karma 42 548 00:30:43,260 --> 00:30:46,110 package in the mail this week. Did you get yours by any chance? 549 00:30:46,740 --> 00:30:50,220 It was all the little pins? Yeah. Yeah, you know what I 550 00:30:50,250 --> 00:30:52,560 looking at all the pins by the way, a couple of glow in the 551 00:30:52,560 --> 00:30:53,580 dark. No, it's 552 00:30:53,580 --> 00:30:59,610 great. It's no agenda super karma.com and this is Sir Ernie. 553 00:30:59,610 --> 00:31:02,790 I believe from think he's from Switzerland. Things are really 554 00:31:02,790 --> 00:31:05,130 nice. Man. This is like this isn't no joke. 555 00:31:05,400 --> 00:31:08,700 No, the pins are outstanding. The quality is remarkable. I 556 00:31:08,730 --> 00:31:13,470 have my my feeling about the various pins. I think the one 557 00:31:13,470 --> 00:31:16,470 that I would wear I wouldn't mind wearing in the morning pin 558 00:31:16,470 --> 00:31:20,580 but the the net little number 42 I think is really that's really 559 00:31:20,580 --> 00:31:25,620 cool. Yeah, I agree. That is so obscure. Yeah. And dog tag one 560 00:31:25,650 --> 00:31:29,640 is so big and heavy that it drags mine in my head down to 561 00:31:29,640 --> 00:31:30,240 the ground. 562 00:31:30,330 --> 00:31:31,500 You have to be a rapper. 563 00:31:32,790 --> 00:31:35,460 You got to be in hip hop. John, not rapper, we call them hip 564 00:31:35,460 --> 00:31:36,000 hoppers. Now 565 00:31:36,030 --> 00:31:39,150 you have to be a hip hop guy to where these giant. 566 00:31:40,890 --> 00:31:44,460 trackable, they're trackable, by the way, I'm sure they got I 567 00:31:44,460 --> 00:31:47,820 know I went I went to geocaching.com and activated it. 568 00:31:47,850 --> 00:31:49,980 So it's not trackable around the world. 569 00:31:50,490 --> 00:31:53,130 Oh, they're trackable. Yeah, that's great. But it's not like 570 00:31:53,130 --> 00:31:56,280 RFID Tracker will be you enter where they are. And it's, it's 571 00:31:56,280 --> 00:31:59,670 fun. It's a fun little thing. I love the glow on the dark, 572 00:31:59,670 --> 00:32:03,300 though. That's, it's awesome. Anyway, so that was nice. Quick 573 00:32:03,300 --> 00:32:08,940 shout out to Luke dollfuss. On Twitter, who created a x box 574 00:32:08,970 --> 00:32:13,380 music channel, audio add on for the no agenda show and link in 575 00:32:13,380 --> 00:32:17,160 the show notes under a PR. So now you can listen to the no 576 00:32:17,160 --> 00:32:22,380 agenda stream. All four levels of it. The high, the medium to 577 00:32:22,380 --> 00:32:25,290 low. And I guess there's a fourth stream that I don't know 578 00:32:25,290 --> 00:32:28,410 about. You can listen to it while you're playing your Xbox 579 00:32:28,410 --> 00:32:31,260 while you're playing Call of Duty. You can hear us warning 580 00:32:31,260 --> 00:32:35,100 about not playing Call of Duty and 581 00:32:35,760 --> 00:32:40,080 live a lot of good ancillary products and things that are 582 00:32:40,080 --> 00:32:44,490 going on. We do. We like lots. I mean, it's not like one or two 583 00:32:44,490 --> 00:32:46,080 things. There's like dozens. Well, we 584 00:32:46,080 --> 00:32:49,860 have what did someone email us about? We have in the ecosystem 585 00:32:50,340 --> 00:32:54,060 is what we have. We have an ecosystem ecosystem. Yeah, yeah, 586 00:32:54,180 --> 00:32:56,490 I like that. We got such an ecosystem. 587 00:32:56,970 --> 00:32:59,820 And very few shows out there have an ecosystem like ours, 588 00:33:00,270 --> 00:33:01,410 that we're having none. 589 00:33:02,910 --> 00:33:05,460 That was piers Morgan's ecosystem, you don't have no 590 00:33:05,460 --> 00:33:09,360 ecosystem. So we want to thank our special executive producer 591 00:33:09,390 --> 00:33:16,590 Baron Steven pal smackers for becoming a member of the 1111111 592 00:33:16,590 --> 00:33:22,020 Club. And, and again, the guy is awesome and karma to is his 593 00:33:22,020 --> 00:33:26,490 family. And I think we also have a reuniting of one of his kids 594 00:33:26,520 --> 00:33:29,820 that we have to take care of Eric, please take better care of 595 00:33:29,820 --> 00:33:33,420 Baron Vaughn Pels, mockers executive producer Blacknight 596 00:33:33,420 --> 00:33:37,230 Kelly Spartanburg and Associate Executive Producer number of the 597 00:33:37,230 --> 00:33:43,200 272 Club Robert Wiltshire. Yeah, and then also executive 598 00:33:43,200 --> 00:33:46,080 producer, Associate Executive Producer, Steven lytic. We 599 00:33:46,080 --> 00:33:47,550 really appreciate what you 600 00:33:47,550 --> 00:33:49,590 guys are forced or did I not have 601 00:33:49,590 --> 00:33:50,370 Jared Forster? 602 00:33:50,939 --> 00:33:53,639 You didn't mention him? I think he went from wheelchair to 603 00:33:53,669 --> 00:33:54,539 lytic. Okay, 604 00:33:54,570 --> 00:33:57,270 so I want to show is done let's make sure I get all this right. 605 00:33:58,230 --> 00:34:00,270 Because a little complicated today you threw it and actually 606 00:34:00,270 --> 00:34:02,730 category for you and Jared. Okay, thank you very much 607 00:34:02,730 --> 00:34:04,890 everybody else out there. We need you to go out and do one 608 00:34:04,890 --> 00:34:07,320 very important thing which is propagating the formula. 609 00:34:07,860 --> 00:34:12,570 Our formula is this. We go out yet people in the mouth 610 00:34:22,350 --> 00:34:23,340 shut up. 611 00:34:28,710 --> 00:34:33,750 Okay, right. So there's a lot of new out and you got more news 612 00:34:33,750 --> 00:34:38,250 than I do. I mean, I was watching a lot of C span. And 613 00:34:40,650 --> 00:34:46,920 what was I don't have to see. 614 00:34:48,449 --> 00:34:51,479 I was watching. I watched C span. I caught a little bit here 615 00:34:51,479 --> 00:34:52,739 and there. I caught 616 00:34:52,739 --> 00:34:57,869 a couple of interesting weird new things that have happened 617 00:34:57,869 --> 00:35:02,909 recently in terms of advertising Using and such. Well, that's 618 00:35:02,909 --> 00:35:05,309 what I do and ask Adam right off the top. Oh, well, 619 00:35:05,370 --> 00:35:09,210 well hold on a second. John. I'm so glad you asked because we 620 00:35:09,960 --> 00:35:15,210 said that we had this new segment. And I said we needed a 621 00:35:15,210 --> 00:35:21,150 jingle Allow me. Is that good? Are you I didn't expect this so 622 00:35:21,150 --> 00:35:24,360 early allow me to play a little montage 623 00:35:29,010 --> 00:35:34,830 when John C, Dvorak Got a burning question, what should we 624 00:35:34,830 --> 00:35:35,730 do? As 625 00:35:37,890 --> 00:35:44,130 a as Adam? Where he No Oh, really? Well, I don't know. 626 00:35:48,930 --> 00:35:52,920 We have a great I mean, we got an ecosystem here, John. Like, 627 00:35:53,130 --> 00:35:55,560 sir Jeff Smith came in. We got all kinds of people with 628 00:35:55,560 --> 00:35:58,740 jingles. So yes, please feel free to ask me a question. 629 00:35:59,220 --> 00:36:04,230 Okay. I'm gonna ask you this. Very simple. When you think of 630 00:36:04,230 --> 00:36:08,460 pain relief, yes. There's there's one thing that goes it's 631 00:36:08,460 --> 00:36:12,150 a historic drug. for pain relief, Jen is just for just 632 00:36:12,150 --> 00:36:16,110 pain it is for a headache, aspirins for Basspro. Was it 633 00:36:16,290 --> 00:36:19,320 aspirin? That's really that's interesting. You'd say that? 634 00:36:19,320 --> 00:36:24,150 Because apparently bear believes that the public now thinks that 635 00:36:24,150 --> 00:36:30,120 aspirin is only good to prevent heart attacks. Really? I'm going 636 00:36:30,450 --> 00:36:33,300 to have to assume that from this commercial, which is this 637 00:36:33,300 --> 00:36:37,500 baffling Bayer aspirin ad. Let me set it up. This, there's a 638 00:36:37,500 --> 00:36:42,270 guy's sitting in an airplane seat. And he's rubbing his 639 00:36:42,390 --> 00:36:44,790 shoulder or something. He's got to back excited What's wrong 640 00:36:44,790 --> 00:36:47,640 with him but something and he's and he bitches to the flight 641 00:36:47,640 --> 00:36:51,480 attendant that he's in dreadful pain. And does she have anything 642 00:36:51,480 --> 00:36:55,230 for pain? She gives him a box of box by the way. I like to see 643 00:36:55,230 --> 00:36:58,890 that in an airplane. Yeah, a box of Bayer aspirin and he says no, 644 00:36:58,890 --> 00:37:02,490 no, that's not what I want. And she has to lecture him. Because 645 00:37:02,490 --> 00:37:05,700 apparently the American public is so stupid that they don't 646 00:37:05,700 --> 00:37:09,120 know what aspirin is for you can play it's short. Do you have 647 00:37:09,120 --> 00:37:12,480 something for pain? There aspirin 648 00:37:12,510 --> 00:37:15,900 I'm not having a heart attack. It's my back. It works great for 649 00:37:15,900 --> 00:37:16,260 pain. 650 00:37:16,290 --> 00:37:18,480 Nothing's proven to relieve pain better than extra strength. 651 00:37:18,480 --> 00:37:21,090 Bayer aspirin it rushes relief to the side of pain feels 652 00:37:21,090 --> 00:37:26,160 better. Yeah, thanks for the tip. You know for the tip. For 653 00:37:26,160 --> 00:37:27,930 the tip, what is the guy an idiot? 654 00:37:28,950 --> 00:37:32,460 So it but here's the interesting thing. When next time you're on 655 00:37:32,460 --> 00:37:35,970 the airplane, ask the flight attendant for some aspirin or a 656 00:37:35,970 --> 00:37:39,390 painkiller. And she will say I'm sorry, I can't give you that 657 00:37:39,390 --> 00:37:43,890 because it can get skewed against the law. You can't they 658 00:37:43,890 --> 00:37:46,800 can't give you an aspirin. So it's a double whammy it's a 659 00:37:46,800 --> 00:37:47,610 stupid I have 660 00:37:47,610 --> 00:37:51,360 gotten asked for it from from flight attendants, but you have 661 00:37:51,360 --> 00:37:53,850 to go in the back. And they and they have to 662 00:37:54,990 --> 00:37:56,430 get out of their own purse. Exactly. They 663 00:37:56,430 --> 00:37:58,740 say don't tell anybody I gave you this. 664 00:38:00,330 --> 00:38:03,870 We all know the only pain relievers this show will jump 665 00:38:03,900 --> 00:38:07,650 John since you asked me and since I am not like the American 666 00:38:07,650 --> 00:38:09,630 public who has been indoctrinated apparently and 667 00:38:09,630 --> 00:38:12,840 only thinks that aspirin is for heart attacks. I actually know 668 00:38:12,840 --> 00:38:16,530 that. That's really what I'd prefer to have instead of 669 00:38:17,190 --> 00:38:20,220 ibuprofen or anything else. I like the old school aspirin. 670 00:38:20,670 --> 00:38:21,750 John, here's one for you. 671 00:38:24,690 --> 00:38:25,680 That's all I got. 672 00:38:28,110 --> 00:38:29,280 We can play it twice. 673 00:38:30,270 --> 00:38:33,390 So guess the segment is ask Adam not as a joke. 674 00:38:35,100 --> 00:38:38,820 Yeah, we've got a new segment here. Let me ask you. What 675 00:38:38,820 --> 00:38:42,840 political movement is it? What is the definition of a movement 676 00:38:42,840 --> 00:38:45,600 that seeks to organize a country according to a particular 677 00:38:45,600 --> 00:38:47,910 nationalist strand of corporatist values and 678 00:38:47,910 --> 00:38:52,170 perspectives, with emphasis on enforcing a collectivist form of 679 00:38:52,170 --> 00:38:54,990 political and economic organization based on a tightly 680 00:38:54,990 --> 00:38:59,790 prescribed national identity? Fascist? Yes, very good. They oh 681 00:38:59,790 --> 00:39:03,930 my gosh, we don't have Hey, great. Now, let me ask you this 682 00:39:03,930 --> 00:39:10,710 question. If you invite the CEO of the largest corporation in 683 00:39:10,710 --> 00:39:17,160 the United States of Gitmo to be your economic adviser. Is that 684 00:39:17,160 --> 00:39:19,440 not the almost the definition of fascism? 685 00:39:20,490 --> 00:39:24,120 Well, you know what somebody is kind of like, it's probably more 686 00:39:24,120 --> 00:39:27,180 what we're dealing with is corporatism, which is a form of 687 00:39:27,180 --> 00:39:31,680 fascism. Yeah, I'd say yes to that. So of course, 688 00:39:31,680 --> 00:39:34,770 I'm talking about the shadow puppet theater where the 689 00:39:34,770 --> 00:39:39,420 President got rid of Paul Volcker who actually I think was 690 00:39:39,480 --> 00:39:41,910 was a pretty good economist, a pretty good guy. Yeah, they 691 00:39:41,910 --> 00:39:45,570 took too many naps during except for the sleeping bit. That was a 692 00:39:45,570 --> 00:39:48,000 little a little irritating. They kept falling asleep in every 693 00:39:48,000 --> 00:39:51,450 meeting. But he's been around for 100 years. The guy was tired 694 00:39:51,450 --> 00:39:56,160 let's face it, and and changes the name of the of the committee 695 00:39:56,160 --> 00:40:02,220 to what do you change it to the I don't know to get new count 696 00:40:02,220 --> 00:40:06,810 the Council on Jobs and Competitiveness. Yeah. Which is 697 00:40:06,840 --> 00:40:11,970 total crap, competitiveness. And he announces this at the GE 698 00:40:12,000 --> 00:40:16,320 factory in Schenectady. So I'm like, wow, you know, this is the 699 00:40:16,320 --> 00:40:22,200 current CEO of not only, I believe our largest government 700 00:40:22,200 --> 00:40:26,970 contractor, our largest manufacturer, the company that 701 00:40:26,970 --> 00:40:28,320 yeah, we make light bulbs. 702 00:40:28,350 --> 00:40:31,170 You're talking. You're just a beater. You're beating around 703 00:40:31,170 --> 00:40:32,310 the bush. No, no, no, I'm 704 00:40:32,310 --> 00:40:35,820 leading up to something. All right, I'm leading up to Senator 705 00:40:35,850 --> 00:40:38,730 Bernie Sanders of Vermont. 706 00:40:39,540 --> 00:40:41,430 Oh, that Yeah. Okay, now he's an 707 00:40:41,430 --> 00:40:42,570 independent, both. 708 00:40:43,770 --> 00:40:46,950 Sanders is one of those guys. He reminds me of coop chin, kudos, 709 00:40:47,280 --> 00:40:50,400 percentage, percentage percentage, who is who every 710 00:40:50,400 --> 00:40:52,830 once a while says something brilliant, right. So this 711 00:40:52,830 --> 00:40:57,720 was actually December. So this is before the Christmas break. 712 00:40:58,020 --> 00:41:03,990 He says the following about Immel Jeffrey Immelt now, one 713 00:41:03,990 --> 00:41:09,120 step closer to the throne. And, and we'll just listen to this. 714 00:41:09,150 --> 00:41:13,710 He is of course one of our major corporations. And in fact, as 715 00:41:13,980 --> 00:41:18,120 recent disclosure pointed out, the taxpayers of this country 716 00:41:18,120 --> 00:41:22,770 through the Fed provided $16 billion in bailout to General 717 00:41:22,770 --> 00:41:26,190 Electric General Electric during the recent crisis. This is what 718 00:41:26,190 --> 00:41:31,830 the head of CEO of General Electric, Jeffrey Immelt said, 719 00:41:32,700 --> 00:41:39,480 in 2002, December 6, quote, Jeff in melt head of CEO, when I am 720 00:41:39,480 --> 00:41:44,400 talking to GE managers, I talk China, China, China, China, 721 00:41:44,400 --> 00:41:50,280 China, five Chinese, you need to be there. You need to change the 722 00:41:50,280 --> 00:41:55,140 way people talk about it and how they get there. I am a not on 723 00:41:55,140 --> 00:42:00,840 China. Outsourcing from China is going to grow to 5 billion. We 724 00:42:00,840 --> 00:42:05,370 are building a tech center in China. Every discussion today 725 00:42:05,400 --> 00:42:09,960 has the center on China. The cost basis is extremely 726 00:42:10,020 --> 00:42:14,520 attractive. You can take an 18 cubic foot refrigerator, make it 727 00:42:14,520 --> 00:42:18,180 in China, landed in the United States and landed for less than 728 00:42:18,180 --> 00:42:22,830 we can make an 18 cubic foot refrigerator today ourselves. 729 00:42:23,160 --> 00:42:26,430 And of quote, Jeffrey InMail, chairman, CEO of General 730 00:42:26,430 --> 00:42:33,240 Electric quoted and investor meeting on December 6 2002. G, 731 00:42:33,450 --> 00:42:37,770 one G recently had a couple of years ago, some really difficult 732 00:42:37,770 --> 00:42:42,720 economic times, they needed $16 billion dollars to bail them 733 00:42:42,720 --> 00:42:47,250 out. I didn't hear Mustaine mill going to China, China, China, 734 00:42:47,280 --> 00:42:51,390 China, China, I didn't hear that. I heard Mr. Mill going to 735 00:42:51,390 --> 00:42:55,440 the taxpayers of the United States for his welfare check. So 736 00:42:55,440 --> 00:42:59,580 I say to Mr. InMail. And I say to all of these CEOs who have 737 00:42:59,580 --> 00:43:03,000 been so quick to run to China, that maybe it's time to start 738 00:43:03,000 --> 00:43:06,000 reinvesting in the United States of America. 739 00:43:06,029 --> 00:43:09,089 So that's just a little background on the great hero 740 00:43:09,119 --> 00:43:12,599 mothers. So of course, Jeffrey Immelt, great hero of the United 741 00:43:12,599 --> 00:43:16,979 States and even our friend Bernie Sanders is off the mark a 742 00:43:16,979 --> 00:43:20,339 little bit because it's not about the manufacturing 60% of 743 00:43:20,339 --> 00:43:23,279 G's manufacturing of courses overseas, a lot of it in China, 744 00:43:23,279 --> 00:43:29,489 China, China, China, China, but the that's what he said China, 745 00:43:29,489 --> 00:43:34,649 China, China. But the big thing, of course, was it's GE Capital, 746 00:43:34,979 --> 00:43:38,939 which is a huge finance arm, and he's I don't know where he gets 747 00:43:38,939 --> 00:43:44,309 his, his 14 billion or whatever, it's actually GE in 2008 got a 748 00:43:44,309 --> 00:43:51,719 $140 billion bailout 140 billion. That's that's 749 00:43:51,750 --> 00:43:55,110 huge. You know, I want to bring something I've just kind of an 750 00:43:55,110 --> 00:43:59,280 aside here because it's, it's ancillary, but at the same time, 751 00:43:59,460 --> 00:44:02,520 it's in the news. And you can see I want you to continue with 752 00:44:02,520 --> 00:44:07,650 this. But so this week, right after this happened, by the way, 753 00:44:08,250 --> 00:44:12,240 Keith Olbermann just walked out, basically walked out. He was 754 00:44:12,240 --> 00:44:16,650 fired. He I'm not so sure of that. And because there's no 755 00:44:16,650 --> 00:44:18,930 actually nobody's confirming that he was fired. Everyone says 756 00:44:18,930 --> 00:44:22,050 he's fired and TMZ says he wasn't fired. He says that they 757 00:44:22,350 --> 00:44:25,650 he was going to be fired by Comcast because they don't like 758 00:44:25,650 --> 00:44:29,070 him. I don't believe any of this is true. He's been sitting there 759 00:44:29,070 --> 00:44:33,360 stewing on this show. He's been mad ever since they took him off 760 00:44:33,360 --> 00:44:36,900 the show, as they punished him for two days, even though they 761 00:44:37,170 --> 00:44:42,840 cared for giving money to a Democrat. Meanwhile, it's no 762 00:44:42,840 --> 00:44:45,930 coincidence that emotion all of a sudden gets his job at the 763 00:44:45,930 --> 00:44:48,660 White House. And it was really the guy behind his being 764 00:44:48,660 --> 00:44:54,240 punished for showing outrageous corruption and collaboration 765 00:44:54,240 --> 00:44:58,080 between General Electric and the government. And so and so 766 00:44:58,110 --> 00:45:01,440 Overman is publicly humiliate If you're giving some money to a 767 00:45:01,440 --> 00:45:04,350 campaign contribution to a couple, I think he walked off 768 00:45:04,350 --> 00:45:05,670 the show because of this 769 00:45:06,210 --> 00:45:10,230 as possible. The timing is all interesting, because we just had 770 00:45:11,100 --> 00:45:15,630 the head honcho from China here, China. We got the China man. 771 00:45:15,809 --> 00:45:18,539 Yeah. So as all this takes, why don't we just sell our own 772 00:45:18,539 --> 00:45:20,279 country down to China, I 773 00:45:20,280 --> 00:45:24,540 think I think we are China. The way I look at it, we're all just 774 00:45:24,540 --> 00:45:25,740 China trying to 775 00:45:25,770 --> 00:45:29,040 do a joint venture or something, make the two countries one and 776 00:45:29,040 --> 00:45:29,730 get it over with, 777 00:45:29,760 --> 00:45:34,680 I think it's done. As far as I can see, we are China. 778 00:45:36,060 --> 00:45:39,120 The other thing was there was during this period into the last 779 00:45:39,120 --> 00:45:42,150 week, and I didn't know I don't have any clips to back myself 780 00:45:42,150 --> 00:45:44,700 up. Because the clips are too little too boring, it would be 781 00:45:44,700 --> 00:45:48,600 very difficult to edit down. But there was some China hearings in 782 00:45:48,600 --> 00:45:51,990 Congress. And they had a bunch of different people making all 783 00:45:51,990 --> 00:45:54,300 these commentaries and one of the things one of our 784 00:45:54,300 --> 00:45:57,150 representatives a dead Republican from Fullerton, 785 00:45:57,150 --> 00:45:59,730 they're one of the who the congressman is from down there. 786 00:45:59,730 --> 00:46:03,300 He's talking about how American companies go to China, they you 787 00:46:03,300 --> 00:46:06,030 know, they buy into all the oh, that, you know, we're going to 788 00:46:06,030 --> 00:46:09,300 help you set up shop here and the people ship set up shop, and 789 00:46:09,300 --> 00:46:12,930 then all of a sudden, their leases are dropped, there's new 790 00:46:12,930 --> 00:46:15,630 regulations are kicked out of the country, their employees 791 00:46:15,630 --> 00:46:18,720 won't show up. And the whole thing is a big scam. Well, no, 792 00:46:18,720 --> 00:46:22,050 wait a minute that we can export our technology. So the Chinese 793 00:46:22,050 --> 00:46:24,660 don't have the data to develop it, and they steal everything. 794 00:46:24,690 --> 00:46:28,200 So where does Eric Schmidt from Google fit into all of this? 795 00:46:28,230 --> 00:46:31,110 Because he just stepped down, which was also a very weird 796 00:46:31,110 --> 00:46:35,100 move. Because when you have a professional CEO, like Eric 797 00:46:35,100 --> 00:46:39,240 Schmidt at Google, stepping down and handing it over to Sergey, 798 00:46:39,900 --> 00:46:43,260 no, no, it was his partner, Larry, Larry. So it doesn't 799 00:46:43,260 --> 00:46:46,650 matter. Neither those guys are CEO material. Can I 800 00:46:46,650 --> 00:46:50,370 Larry's Larry's more so than Sergey is more of a CTO type. 801 00:46:50,700 --> 00:46:51,780 Yeah, but still, I mean, 802 00:46:51,810 --> 00:46:55,800 I ya know, we all know I wrote a column about this in MarketWatch 803 00:46:55,800 --> 00:46:59,580 really go read it. Yeah, I discussed this in detail. And 804 00:46:59,580 --> 00:47:02,520 the fact of the matter is, is a known fact, But curiously, 805 00:47:02,520 --> 00:47:06,360 nobody else picked up on this it's a known fact that Eric 806 00:47:06,360 --> 00:47:10,560 wanted out and and he wants to work in the government right for 807 00:47:10,560 --> 00:47:14,580 China. Well, he wants these what's gonna happen I think he's 808 00:47:14,580 --> 00:47:16,200 gonna be the head of the CIA eventually. 809 00:47:18,000 --> 00:47:19,230 Beautiful with that V. 810 00:47:19,440 --> 00:47:21,780 It's spread well, if you think about it, who was who's better 811 00:47:21,780 --> 00:47:24,480 equipped to be running a big organization that collects data 812 00:47:24,810 --> 00:47:27,480 that are the NSA which is even a better fit? 813 00:47:27,990 --> 00:47:31,590 They're already in partnership. Google in the NSA. Oh, that's 814 00:47:31,590 --> 00:47:35,790 great. Oh, totally run the he flies he flies jets to these a 815 00:47:35,790 --> 00:47:37,110 hot guy that's Eric Schmidt. 816 00:47:37,950 --> 00:47:38,730 Oh, he just fly jet. 817 00:47:38,760 --> 00:47:42,630 He flies his own jet. Yeah. Oh, I didn't know he's a pilot. Oh, 818 00:47:42,630 --> 00:47:45,390 yeah. Well, those guys are piloted pilots at Google. They 819 00:47:45,390 --> 00:47:45,870 got the whole 820 00:47:46,980 --> 00:47:49,620 seven so Eric can fly 767 around now. He 821 00:47:49,620 --> 00:47:51,780 flies is G five. He's got it. Yeah, well, I'm 822 00:47:51,780 --> 00:47:54,420 sure that's what he flies, but he probably is qualified for 823 00:47:54,420 --> 00:47:59,040 767. Guys who fly jets tend to want to get qualify for more and 824 00:47:59,040 --> 00:47:59,610 more jets 825 00:47:59,640 --> 00:48:04,230 to hear that barn Baron von Pels. mockers get me a jet. Rent 826 00:48:04,230 --> 00:48:07,800 is not enough. Dammit. I need to be on par with with Eric. 827 00:48:08,129 --> 00:48:11,579 Yeah. Well, you can fly your other regular plane around. Is 828 00:48:11,879 --> 00:48:13,649 it guys too much? 829 00:48:14,339 --> 00:48:16,559 No, I've, it looks like it's sold. 830 00:48:17,490 --> 00:48:19,860 Yeah, no talking about the price of flying around. It's just, 831 00:48:20,069 --> 00:48:22,559 I can't I can't afford that. I can't afford to fly plane around 832 00:48:22,559 --> 00:48:23,669 anymore. Yeah. 833 00:48:25,530 --> 00:48:28,560 Derek can go yeah, you won't even have to worry about he 834 00:48:28,560 --> 00:48:30,510 won't even have to fly his own. He won't even have to pay for 835 00:48:30,510 --> 00:48:34,590 his own gas if he becomes head of the NSA. Or, you know, the 836 00:48:34,590 --> 00:48:37,500 other job that needs filling is that is that Uber and head of 837 00:48:37,500 --> 00:48:40,950 all intelligence job? Right? They've never found enough of a 838 00:48:40,950 --> 00:48:44,220 heavy hitter to take that job because they because they don't 839 00:48:44,220 --> 00:48:47,370 have a guy who's got even more information than they do. 840 00:48:47,700 --> 00:48:55,740 Well, they did find a new puppet to run the the division of the 841 00:48:55,740 --> 00:48:59,850 SEC, the Securities and Exchange Commission that oversees asset 842 00:48:59,850 --> 00:49:04,680 managers and hedge funds, which, of course, is all about the, you 843 00:49:04,680 --> 00:49:08,070 know, the tough new regulations that the Obama administration 844 00:49:08,070 --> 00:49:11,550 put in place on these horrible banksters that got us into all 845 00:49:11,550 --> 00:49:14,490 this trouble. So they found someone John, did you did you 846 00:49:14,490 --> 00:49:16,560 know that? Did you hear about this? They found someone to fill 847 00:49:16,560 --> 00:49:21,180 the position. It's a woman, and it's all women who've I think 848 00:49:21,180 --> 00:49:26,310 who have held this position in the past decade. Her name is 849 00:49:26,370 --> 00:49:32,820 Eileen Rominger. And oh, well. Well, that's interesting. Do you 850 00:49:32,820 --> 00:49:35,400 know where she worked for the past 15 years? 851 00:49:36,270 --> 00:49:37,230 Goldman Sachs. 852 00:49:37,770 --> 00:49:38,700 Bingo. 853 00:49:39,330 --> 00:49:42,660 I just Yes. And off the top of my head. These formulas aren't 854 00:49:42,660 --> 00:49:49,470 that difficult to deconstruct. 30 years, just takes Yes. And 855 00:49:49,470 --> 00:49:50,010 you're right. 856 00:49:50,040 --> 00:49:53,370 She managed equity funds at Oppenheimer capital and then a 857 00:49:53,370 --> 00:49:56,910 Goldman Sachs before becoming a Goldman Sachs Chief Investment 858 00:49:56,910 --> 00:50:01,470 Officer for its global portfolio management team. And now she's 859 00:50:01,470 --> 00:50:03,600 joining the agency. Oh, 860 00:50:05,339 --> 00:50:06,839 yeah, that should make a difference. 861 00:50:07,229 --> 00:50:12,059 Yeah, it'll make a difference to Goldman. That's crazy. This 862 00:50:12,149 --> 00:50:15,239 didn't the President promises that this wouldn't happen? They 863 00:50:15,239 --> 00:50:17,939 wouldn't we wouldn't have this this kind of revolving door, but 864 00:50:17,939 --> 00:50:18,089 I 865 00:50:18,090 --> 00:50:20,880 think he was sincere in that promise. And then when he 866 00:50:20,880 --> 00:50:24,600 finally got in office, it was so corrupt. He's like, every but 867 00:50:24,600 --> 00:50:26,970 you couldn't do it. Like, it's like, you can't find anybody 868 00:50:26,970 --> 00:50:30,000 else. Because people, you know, they, if they want it, if you 869 00:50:30,000 --> 00:50:32,580 find an academic that might be able to do it, they won't take 870 00:50:32,580 --> 00:50:35,880 the job, you know, or they have a horse's head in their bed the 871 00:50:35,880 --> 00:50:37,530 next morning, I mean, who knows? 872 00:50:38,250 --> 00:50:41,520 Anyway, to bring it all full circle, as I believe, yes, a 873 00:50:41,520 --> 00:50:45,900 corporate test and on the way to fascist states. GE CEO Jeffrey 874 00:50:45,900 --> 00:50:50,610 Immelt says, Bloomberg article, quote, the interaction between 875 00:50:50,610 --> 00:50:54,210 government and business will change forever. In a reset 876 00:50:54,240 --> 00:50:58,140 economy. The government will be a regulator, and also an 877 00:50:58,140 --> 00:51:02,850 industry policy champion of finance here and a key partner. 878 00:51:03,540 --> 00:51:06,900 Well, that's fascism. That is fascism. That's the that is 879 00:51:06,900 --> 00:51:09,780 almost it's almost taken right off Wikipedia the way he said 880 00:51:09,780 --> 00:51:13,830 it. Yeah, so yay, well, we knew 881 00:51:13,830 --> 00:51:16,800 this was going on, are gonna happen. I mean, I've been 882 00:51:16,800 --> 00:51:21,810 predicting fascism for a decade or more. This is the easiest way 883 00:51:21,810 --> 00:51:24,270 to do things. There was something I read not you 884 00:51:24,270 --> 00:51:28,680 mentioned it to who was it that said this? Now I'm irked about 885 00:51:28,680 --> 00:51:31,050 this. Fascism, because somebody 886 00:51:31,080 --> 00:51:33,330 you think you should be Ark? Yeah. 887 00:51:33,420 --> 00:51:37,380 Somebody brought up somebody's house, man. I wish it may be. Go 888 00:51:37,380 --> 00:51:40,500 ahead, Moses, Say what say what it is. This I can't remember who 889 00:51:40,500 --> 00:51:43,350 the person is. But they made this weird comment. And I was 890 00:51:43,350 --> 00:51:47,970 reading it or I was, I was reading it, I'm sure about how 891 00:51:49,980 --> 00:51:55,650 freedom and democracy are incompatible. I'm thinking how 892 00:51:55,650 --> 00:51:59,040 does that why is that why is freedom and democracy 893 00:51:59,040 --> 00:51:59,940 incompatible 894 00:51:59,970 --> 00:52:02,970 don't go together well, so anyway, 895 00:52:02,970 --> 00:52:08,250 well, I'll do some follow up on that. We can switch to a clip 896 00:52:08,250 --> 00:52:12,780 that's a short little clip that standalone clip. I don't know 897 00:52:12,780 --> 00:52:16,470 what it's about why it even exists, but it's a constipation 898 00:52:16,470 --> 00:52:18,180 clip. And here we 899 00:52:18,180 --> 00:52:22,200 go. She felt lost until the combination of three good 900 00:52:22,200 --> 00:52:25,440 probiotics and Philips colon health defended against the bad 901 00:52:25,440 --> 00:52:29,610 gas, diarrhea and constipation, and it helped balance her colon 902 00:52:29,610 --> 00:52:30,600 and that's the best part. 903 00:52:34,980 --> 00:52:40,710 That's the best part. Balancing your colon. You're right. 904 00:52:41,460 --> 00:52:42,360 I don't know that. 905 00:52:42,540 --> 00:52:45,090 That is a standalone clip. If I ever heard one, 906 00:52:45,390 --> 00:52:47,700 standalone clip, there's nothing to say. 907 00:52:49,140 --> 00:52:53,790 Oh, that's the best pot. That is absolutely the best pot when 908 00:52:53,790 --> 00:52:58,110 your colon is balanced. That's not funny man being that way, if 909 00:52:58,110 --> 00:52:59,010 you're constipated, 910 00:52:59,550 --> 00:53:03,390 know that, you know he prunes? That helps, too. So I saw the 911 00:53:03,420 --> 00:53:05,910 rocket launch. Oh, yeah. I 912 00:53:05,910 --> 00:53:07,950 want to ask Did you forget you forget to watch. I 913 00:53:07,950 --> 00:53:09,540 couldn't see it. It was really? 914 00:53:09,720 --> 00:53:13,950 Oh my gosh, it was it was I mean, it was so easy once I you 915 00:53:13,950 --> 00:53:16,860 know, whipped out my compass and figured out which direction to 916 00:53:16,860 --> 00:53:20,040 look at because of course, Mickey would live. I'm always 917 00:53:20,040 --> 00:53:22,590 looking. I don't have no sense of direction on the ground. When 918 00:53:22,590 --> 00:53:26,580 I'm in the air. I'm okay. But ya know, but I was actually I was 919 00:53:26,580 --> 00:53:31,020 looking east west. I don't know what I was looking to. But yeah, 920 00:53:31,020 --> 00:53:34,860 I mean, I could see the Vapor Trail clear as day. 921 00:53:35,009 --> 00:53:38,579 Oh, yeah. The beautiful did you get to see the this this the way 922 00:53:38,579 --> 00:53:39,629 it breaks off? Now see, 923 00:53:39,660 --> 00:53:43,470 see that? I could see the vapor trail there was like a curlicue 924 00:53:43,470 --> 00:53:46,530 twist. And then I guess where there was a separation and that 925 00:53:46,530 --> 00:53:49,410 was I never actually saw the rocket. It was impossible. But I 926 00:53:49,410 --> 00:53:53,100 mean, I'm in Los Angeles and to see this thing at Vandenberg. 927 00:53:53,100 --> 00:53:55,710 That's pretty good. I mean, that's, that's quite a, that's 928 00:53:55,710 --> 00:53:58,830 quite a distance. How many miles do you think that is? Well, it 929 00:53:58,830 --> 00:54:02,970 can't be more than 200. Well, so but it was clear as day I mean, 930 00:54:02,970 --> 00:54:03,750 it was like oh, no, 931 00:54:03,750 --> 00:54:06,720 and they take off. I mean, it for one thing, the Vapor Trail, 932 00:54:06,840 --> 00:54:09,330 which is more in vapors smoke, too. Yeah. 933 00:54:10,200 --> 00:54:11,430 It's actual smoke. Yeah, 934 00:54:11,460 --> 00:54:16,080 it's mostly it's huge. And it's huge. And it's like less than 935 00:54:16,080 --> 00:54:19,080 one I saw was I saw it was Chava she shot in a different 936 00:54:19,080 --> 00:54:22,710 direction. It came flying across and you can see the little dot 937 00:54:22,890 --> 00:54:27,720 y'all you get to see as a little real bright pin look at pin spot 938 00:54:27,750 --> 00:54:28,890 really bright little white. 939 00:54:28,920 --> 00:54:31,620 I couldn't see that I had binoculars that I could see 940 00:54:31,620 --> 00:54:34,140 that I could anyway so you see this thing going and this is 941 00:54:34,140 --> 00:54:36,900 huge thing I mean, this ad is going like a bat out of hell 942 00:54:36,900 --> 00:54:39,480 this thing doesn't go slow. I mean it's just grow rockin I 943 00:54:39,480 --> 00:54:42,720 mean this is a whole process is like less than five minutes. And 944 00:54:42,720 --> 00:54:45,990 then you see the just a break that like it all of a sudden is 945 00:54:45,990 --> 00:54:49,650 stops dead. There's no small right and then boom, this more 946 00:54:49,650 --> 00:54:53,610 little trail of smoke and goat keeps going with a little gap. 947 00:54:53,940 --> 00:54:55,320 And then there's gone. 948 00:54:55,950 --> 00:55:00,000 Well, this was the second Delta four heavy launch for the Nash 949 00:55:00,000 --> 00:55:01,140 Your Reconnaissance 950 00:55:01,170 --> 00:55:04,440 Office rocket you want to see if you can get down to Vandenberg 951 00:55:04,440 --> 00:55:06,540 and watch one of those. That's apparently the rocket you want 952 00:55:06,540 --> 00:55:10,230 to watch take off because that thing just lights it up it 953 00:55:10,230 --> 00:55:13,170 shakes the ground is a monster, and you're 954 00:55:13,170 --> 00:55:16,380 paying for it. So you might as well. Yeah, they let you watch 955 00:55:16,410 --> 00:55:19,260 me this was the largest rocket ever launched from the West 956 00:55:19,260 --> 00:55:24,450 Coast John. Oh, wow. Most important according to Mission 957 00:55:24,450 --> 00:55:29,820 Operations Jim spanic. Most important is the critical NRO 958 00:55:29,820 --> 00:55:33,300 payload launched today, which will significantly enhance the 959 00:55:33,300 --> 00:55:36,120 effectiveness and safety of the brave men and women defending 960 00:55:36,120 --> 00:55:37,080 our nation every day. 961 00:55:38,790 --> 00:55:39,990 In La police. 962 00:55:41,430 --> 00:55:45,780 It's bad boys bad boys. Today's successful launch represents the 963 00:55:45,780 --> 00:55:48,600 culmination of five years of hard work and exceptional skill 964 00:55:48,600 --> 00:55:51,240 and modifying the launch system to establish the West Coast 965 00:55:51,240 --> 00:55:54,330 heavy lift capability for the nation integrate this important 966 00:55:54,330 --> 00:55:54,750 mission? 967 00:55:55,560 --> 00:55:57,510 Well, they're going to start doing heavy launches off the 968 00:55:57,510 --> 00:56:01,710 west coast like this. We got to find some contact to get us down 969 00:56:01,740 --> 00:56:05,670 because it's worth the drive to go to Vandenberg to the to the 970 00:56:05,670 --> 00:56:08,250 observation area which is I think on the side of a hill or 971 00:56:08,250 --> 00:56:11,280 something to watch one of these things within you know if you're 972 00:56:11,280 --> 00:56:14,430 within a mile of it, or within I don't know how many feet you 973 00:56:14,430 --> 00:56:17,700 know how close they let to get it's apparently just an awe 974 00:56:17,730 --> 00:56:21,360 inspiring thing to watch the launch 975 00:56:21,870 --> 00:56:27,060 Yes, I'm sorry. naked woman just came walking into the we need 976 00:56:27,060 --> 00:56:30,480 ins wherever she wants to get the camera hooked up. We need to 977 00:56:30,480 --> 00:56:33,390 we need to watch one of these things blast off because I think 978 00:56:33,390 --> 00:56:35,190 it's that'd be just a kick on we're 979 00:56:35,190 --> 00:56:36,510 paying for it. We might as well. 980 00:56:36,690 --> 00:56:39,810 Yeah, let's say do we wish somebody we might we find some 981 00:56:39,840 --> 00:56:43,080 somebody out there listen to our show has a pallet works at 982 00:56:43,080 --> 00:56:45,540 Vandenberg and they should like start playing the show. 983 00:56:46,140 --> 00:56:47,580 I forgot a really important clip. 984 00:56:49,110 --> 00:56:50,400 When Yeah, I did. 985 00:56:50,430 --> 00:56:53,520 I got a 17 second clip. That's so stupid. I forgot this today. 986 00:56:53,550 --> 00:56:58,470 Yeah, right now it's back to the back to the Obama emerald thing. 987 00:56:58,950 --> 00:57:01,890 Oh, you love to clip I left a clip out I had a point to make. 988 00:57:02,250 --> 00:57:05,160 So he was at in this Schenectady, I think 989 00:57:05,160 --> 00:57:08,400 Schenectady, New York, and he's boast at the GE plant boasting 990 00:57:08,400 --> 00:57:10,800 about how great he's doing for American business. And this 991 00:57:10,800 --> 00:57:14,700 little ditty slips out. That's why I traveled India a few 992 00:57:14,730 --> 00:57:18,780 months ago, and Jeff was there with us, where our businesses 993 00:57:18,840 --> 00:57:23,280 were able to reach agreement to export $10 billion in goods and 994 00:57:23,280 --> 00:57:27,150 services to India. And that's gonna lead to another 50,000 995 00:57:27,150 --> 00:57:27,690 jobs 996 00:57:27,810 --> 00:57:29,040 here in the United States. 997 00:57:29,130 --> 00:57:32,340 So this whole speeches about how great he's done, like you 998 00:57:32,340 --> 00:57:35,760 remember who else was, went to him and went with him to India, 999 00:57:36,210 --> 00:57:41,370 in that junket, Deepak Chopra? Yeah, the head of the guy that 1000 00:57:41,370 --> 00:57:48,210 makes the body scanners Yeah, it's the CEO Deepak Chopra on 1001 00:57:48,210 --> 00:57:52,200 the other day, not not that not the guy who talks like this. He 1002 00:57:52,200 --> 00:57:55,860 may talk like it but the health guy, so so he on our dime, he 1003 00:57:55,860 --> 00:58:00,480 went to India, and now the guy's taken a job at the Canada Post. 1004 00:58:02,490 --> 00:58:06,990 Right? Yes, he's now the CEO of Canada Post. The Indian guy, 1005 00:58:07,170 --> 00:58:11,100 Deepak Chopra, the guy who Obama took along with Jeffrey and all 1006 00:58:11,100 --> 00:58:14,280 hung out there and that huge junket the cost $200 million 1007 00:58:15,990 --> 00:58:19,320 remember that? Yeah, I remember right so this guy says thank you 1008 00:58:19,320 --> 00:58:22,920 very much. And then he went right to Canada Post and he's 1009 00:58:22,920 --> 00:58:25,380 going to do some things like took the business to Canada 1010 00:58:26,730 --> 00:58:31,410 interesting interesting lane. Lane. He should have been the 1011 00:58:31,410 --> 00:58:36,570 least pay back his his flight. Yeah, rails in expenses. Well, 1012 00:58:36,570 --> 00:58:39,450 no, no, no, it's alright. It's not like Canada's should be 1013 00:58:39,450 --> 00:58:43,290 happy with him there. No, no, he's gonna privatize it and 1014 00:58:43,290 --> 00:58:45,660 screw him but doesn't matter. The whole point is 1015 00:58:45,720 --> 00:58:48,360 they've been privatizing things left and right in Canada. You 1016 00:58:48,390 --> 00:58:49,830 don't need to be privatized. 1017 00:58:49,860 --> 00:58:52,950 Right. But the point for me was like, well, that's That's lame. 1018 00:58:53,160 --> 00:58:56,790 The guy goes on our time flies over there hangs out. doesn't 1019 00:58:56,790 --> 00:58:59,640 deal doesn't deal ruses. Yeah, and that's exactly takes us 1020 00:58:59,640 --> 00:59:01,860 straight to Canada. Nice. 1021 00:59:04,260 --> 00:59:07,350 So talking about India, do you have a clip? There was I 1022 00:59:07,350 --> 00:59:09,930 actually have a series of clips I didn't have time this morning 1023 00:59:09,930 --> 00:59:12,450 to put them together so they make it so I can have actually 1024 00:59:12,450 --> 00:59:16,200 some humor. What were you so busy doing? I didn't get up on 1025 00:59:16,200 --> 00:59:19,290 time the clock didn't go off. I pulled it I pulled a curry. 1026 00:59:20,580 --> 00:59:24,390 Well, you should try your iPhone alarm. It's it's really great. 1027 00:59:25,590 --> 00:59:28,710 So I know I have to go back and figure I think I when I reset 1028 00:59:28,710 --> 00:59:31,440 the clock I think I put the am to pm are some you know one of 1029 00:59:31,440 --> 00:59:34,200 those mix ups. So didn't go off. So I wake up. 1030 00:59:35,400 --> 00:59:40,260 You have a clock that that doesn't communicate. We'd like 1031 00:59:40,260 --> 00:59:44,670 the central atomic time is not a it's not connected to a time 1032 00:59:44,670 --> 00:59:46,950 server. You have an old school clock. 1033 00:59:47,070 --> 00:59:49,620 It says clock that's plugged into the wall. It's got 1034 00:59:49,620 --> 00:59:52,350 batteries and in case the wall power goes out, right. It's an 1035 00:59:52,350 --> 00:59:57,120 old school clock that works unless I screw it up by flipping 1036 00:59:57,120 --> 01:00:02,730 around the Am to the pm user error user error. So I wake up. 1037 01:00:04,560 --> 01:00:08,280 You just happens everybody. Well, sometimes you'll wake, you 1038 01:00:08,280 --> 01:00:10,410 know, you wake up on and off during the night a couple of 1039 01:00:10,410 --> 01:00:13,680 times, maybe. But you usually don't wake up and sit up like, 1040 01:00:13,710 --> 01:00:17,340 Wait, something's wrong. And because your body has told you 1041 01:00:17,340 --> 01:00:20,430 that you're, you've slept too long, and you're so it was like, 1042 01:00:20,460 --> 01:00:24,810 10 minutes to eight years ago. Wow. Yeah, that's very get up at 1043 01:00:24,810 --> 01:00:28,980 seven to get my act together. Right. So that's why the clips 1044 01:00:28,980 --> 01:00:33,150 came in a little late. So anyway, so I pop up. And you 1045 01:00:33,150 --> 01:00:37,890 know, like, Oops, I'm, why am I waking up like this? And then I 1046 01:00:37,890 --> 01:00:39,930 look over to the clock and because your colon wasn't 1047 01:00:39,930 --> 01:00:44,130 balanced, and I look oh, man, and so I just jumped out of bed 1048 01:00:44,790 --> 01:00:50,790 and rushed, you know, downstairs to have somebody make some tea. 1049 01:00:50,790 --> 01:00:51,120 Right. 1050 01:00:51,120 --> 01:00:54,270 So what was the clip you're gonna tell us about? You got so 1051 01:00:54,270 --> 01:00:55,110 I had it. In the 1052 01:00:55,110 --> 01:00:58,260 meanwhile, I had, there was a whole series of shows. I think 1053 01:00:58,260 --> 01:01:02,040 this is on either current or the document, tech tations channel 1054 01:01:02,040 --> 01:01:04,320 or whatever. There's a documentary channel now too, 1055 01:01:04,410 --> 01:01:07,980 right. And it was about carbon credits. There's a whole slew of 1056 01:01:07,980 --> 01:01:11,100 stuff. I have a bunch of clips on carbon, carbon, cash, and 1057 01:01:11,100 --> 01:01:14,880 trade. Yeah, well, the Well, yeah. So I'm looking at it. And 1058 01:01:14,880 --> 01:01:18,030 most of it is, uptempo saying how great it is, and how 1059 01:01:18,030 --> 01:01:20,670 Hollywood is going to make it happen and all. But meanwhile, 1060 01:01:20,670 --> 01:01:22,980 they're just telling most of these scams. Yeah. 1061 01:01:23,400 --> 01:01:26,220 Well, wait a minute. Do you have a clip of someone saying 1062 01:01:26,220 --> 01:01:29,310 Hollywood's gonna make it happen? Yeah, let's hear that. 1063 01:01:29,310 --> 01:01:31,350 And I'd love to talk about this. This is where I don't have 1064 01:01:31,350 --> 01:01:34,620 that clip. That's Oh, I didn't I mean, I have it on the on, I can 1065 01:01:34,620 --> 01:01:38,400 send it to you. But it's raw. I didn't produce the clip. 1066 01:01:38,550 --> 01:01:43,890 But what's the carbon credits from dung? Well, that's it's not 1067 01:01:43,890 --> 01:01:44,880 what Hollywood is 1068 01:01:45,750 --> 01:01:49,200 similar similar. So I'm watching this clip, which is carbon 1069 01:01:49,200 --> 01:01:53,580 credits from dung. And apparently, some companies 1070 01:01:53,580 --> 01:01:57,000 packaged up and I think, you know, they first give you the 1071 01:01:57,000 --> 01:01:59,820 background. So what happens is they apparently, in some part of 1072 01:01:59,850 --> 01:02:04,860 India, they have a lot of dung. And so they take the dung, and 1073 01:02:04,860 --> 01:02:08,190 they put it in a big pit, and they let it turn into methane. 1074 01:02:08,190 --> 01:02:10,740 And then they pipe the methane into the various houses in the 1075 01:02:10,740 --> 01:02:15,150 neighborhood and the methane is burned. And that they sell these 1076 01:02:15,150 --> 01:02:19,710 carbon credits, because there's a credit that you can collect. 1077 01:02:20,280 --> 01:02:23,550 Because the dung producing methane produces so much bad, 1078 01:02:23,580 --> 01:02:26,460 you know, gas as it were, that's bad for the atmosphere. But if 1079 01:02:26,460 --> 01:02:30,330 it's turned into, if it's burned, you get carbon credits, 1080 01:02:30,330 --> 01:02:32,490 because the carbon dioxide is produced is so much less than 1081 01:02:32,490 --> 01:02:36,390 the methane that you can trade it on the Chicago exchange, even 1082 01:02:36,390 --> 01:02:40,380 though this has been going on anyway, and get money. So just 1083 01:02:40,380 --> 01:02:43,500 play this whole clip and see how much money they these Indians. 1084 01:02:44,010 --> 01:02:46,830 In other words, we're making your poop. And here's what I'm 1085 01:02:46,860 --> 01:02:48,990 from Kobe here, wait, let me give you the punchline to the 1086 01:02:48,990 --> 01:02:52,500 whole thing right off the bat. These guys are trading these 1087 01:02:52,500 --> 01:02:57,390 carbon credits. So American companies who have cap and trade 1088 01:02:57,420 --> 01:03:02,850 issues of some sort by the credits, pass on the extra costs 1089 01:03:02,880 --> 01:03:05,670 of the credits, I mean, in other words, like some company will 1090 01:03:05,670 --> 01:03:09,480 buy these credits from India send them the money, charge the 1091 01:03:09,480 --> 01:03:12,390 consumer of the United States of America extra money, so we're 1092 01:03:12,390 --> 01:03:15,030 essentially sending money directly to India, for guys to 1093 01:03:15,030 --> 01:03:15,840 burn dung. 1094 01:03:22,140 --> 01:03:27,390 Burn the methane and you release co2, which is not ideal, but co2 1095 01:03:27,540 --> 01:03:31,980 is 22 to burn the methane and you really 1096 01:03:32,549 --> 01:03:35,069 need to get up on time. Dude, what's wrong with your clips? 1097 01:03:35,729 --> 01:03:36,449 This is weird. 1098 01:03:37,560 --> 01:03:42,960 Which is not ideal, but co2 is 22 times less harmful to the 1099 01:03:42,960 --> 01:03:46,590 atmosphere than nothing. So you still get lots of credits 1100 01:03:51,870 --> 01:03:58,260 alright. John, your clip likes repeating. Oh, I 1101 01:03:58,260 --> 01:03:59,400 don't know why it's doing that. 1102 01:04:00,210 --> 01:04:01,170 I'll try one more time. I 1103 01:04:01,170 --> 01:04:04,260 mean, no, I say take it take it up a little bit. All right. 1104 01:04:08,280 --> 01:04:13,560 Burn the methane and you release co2, which is not ideal, but co2 1105 01:04:13,710 --> 01:04:18,720 is 22 times less harmful to the atmosphere than nothing. So you 1106 01:04:18,720 --> 01:04:20,190 still get lots of credits. 1107 01:04:25,620 --> 01:04:30,570 But one sacred cow can generate only four carbon credits. So 1108 01:04:30,570 --> 01:04:33,510 Kishore needs a lot of cows to make this thing work. 1109 01:04:33,900 --> 01:04:37,170 Fortunately, there are quite a few cows in India. 1110 01:04:37,799 --> 01:04:40,679 What we do is we identify projects here, develop them for 1111 01:04:40,679 --> 01:04:43,319 carbon credits, and then we traded on the exchange, the 1112 01:04:43,319 --> 01:04:45,029 Chicago Climate Exchange primarily. 1113 01:04:46,350 --> 01:04:49,620 We think there's an enormous opportunity in India we have a 1114 01:04:49,620 --> 01:04:55,020 fantastic project. The poor rural Indian family now has this 1115 01:04:55,020 --> 01:04:59,970 source of energy for either heating or cooking. It's a beaut 1116 01:05:00,000 --> 01:05:05,490 Beautiful project because it has social spillover benefits. 1117 01:05:09,120 --> 01:05:11,790 These are sources that are highly sought after in the 1118 01:05:11,790 --> 01:05:15,780 carbon market. You want you by us increasingly ask a social 1119 01:05:15,780 --> 01:05:18,960 angle connected to your project. And this such projects clearly 1120 01:05:18,990 --> 01:05:22,380 have a social angle you have. You have women and villagers 1121 01:05:22,380 --> 01:05:25,290 collecting cow dung, putting it into a central facility 1122 01:05:25,380 --> 01:05:28,410 generating power or generating heat and steam for that and 1123 01:05:28,410 --> 01:05:31,080 using it for their household chores. They don't have to go 1124 01:05:31,080 --> 01:05:32,130 out and cut down firewood. 1125 01:05:32,700 --> 01:05:36,300 So a carbon credit packaged by Kishore Bhutan and a bunch of 1126 01:05:36,300 --> 01:05:40,830 farmers in rural India. He's brokered on the Chicago Climate 1127 01:05:40,830 --> 01:05:43,830 Exchange, and methane turns into money, 1128 01:05:44,430 --> 01:05:46,890 where we were surprised when the bank official called us and we 1129 01:05:46,890 --> 01:05:49,470 traded about a million dollars worth of carbon credits. Our 1130 01:05:49,470 --> 01:05:50,280 very first trade 1131 01:05:50,339 --> 01:05:55,559 this is such an incredible scam. Tell me about it. Unbelievable. 1132 01:05:55,559 --> 01:05:59,429 So we had the news that a lot of people emailed us about was that 1133 01:06:00,629 --> 01:06:04,799 about 13 million euros worth of carbon credits had been hacked 1134 01:06:04,799 --> 01:06:08,099 out of an exchange. This exchange isn't even sanctioned 1135 01:06:08,099 --> 01:06:10,919 by the elitist pricks who are trying to set this stuff up, 1136 01:06:11,009 --> 01:06:15,659 Connie Hedegaard, who's in charge of all biodiversity for 1137 01:06:15,659 --> 01:06:19,259 the European Union. She's like, well, that's, you know, this is 1138 01:06:19,409 --> 01:06:22,109 a good thing, because we're barring those guys. They can't 1139 01:06:22,139 --> 01:06:26,519 they can't be trading over here. That's not real. It's like the 1140 01:06:26,519 --> 01:06:30,359 everyone's making making stuff up and trading it, and it's 1141 01:06:30,359 --> 01:06:34,229 turning into money. John, we're so stupid. This week. I think 1142 01:06:34,259 --> 01:06:36,839 you and I said to each other two years ago, we need to get into 1143 01:06:36,839 --> 01:06:40,199 this we need to make our own carbon credit. And now someone's 1144 01:06:40,199 --> 01:06:42,809 gone and made it from cow poop. And look at us. We're stupid. 1145 01:06:43,530 --> 01:06:47,220 We got a million dollars from cow poop. And the whole thing I 1146 01:06:47,490 --> 01:06:50,550 watched this thing carefully. They have that this thing has 1147 01:06:50,550 --> 01:06:53,070 already been established. Apparently, in some villages, 1148 01:06:53,100 --> 01:06:56,370 they do have these cow poop. You know, it's like it's like a big 1149 01:06:56,400 --> 01:06:57,150 pit or wait 1150 01:06:57,150 --> 01:07:00,240 a minute. So the whole idea. They they take the cow poop. Let 1151 01:07:00,240 --> 01:07:04,350 me just get this straight. They take the cow poop. They bury the 1152 01:07:04,350 --> 01:07:08,940 cow poop. They sell a piece of paper that said, I buried cow 1153 01:07:08,940 --> 01:07:11,970 poop. And they and they take the money. Isn't that what happened? 1154 01:07:11,970 --> 01:07:12,690 What's happening here? 1155 01:07:12,720 --> 01:07:13,650 Basically. 1156 01:07:15,300 --> 01:07:19,980 This is so wrong. This is so wrong. And then And then who 1157 01:07:19,980 --> 01:07:22,860 buys? Who buys the paper of the buried cow poop? 1158 01:07:23,310 --> 01:07:29,220 Apparently idiots they had a guy there was a guy that was a 1159 01:07:29,220 --> 01:07:31,800 follow up story. I have all these then the reason for that 1160 01:07:31,800 --> 01:07:35,700 clip being an awkward I think, is because I don't know why they 1161 01:07:36,510 --> 01:07:38,700 deal with that later. But anyway, there was a there was 1162 01:07:38,700 --> 01:07:42,630 another clip they showed this this guy this hapless guy this 1163 01:07:42,630 --> 01:07:46,950 hapless do gooder. Some, you know, guy who's concerned about 1164 01:07:46,950 --> 01:07:50,640 the environment. So apparently in Canada, you can buy your 1165 01:07:50,640 --> 01:07:54,690 carbon credits, the credits that it's $28, like 28 bucks for a 1166 01:07:54,690 --> 01:08:00,090 flight to offset carbon offsets for your flight from Toronto to 1167 01:08:00,090 --> 01:08:00,480 Vancouver. 1168 01:08:00,629 --> 01:08:04,019 That's an offset. Right. So the airline has apparently purchased 1169 01:08:04,019 --> 01:08:06,599 that or they don't they're not even are they in the middle who 1170 01:08:06,630 --> 01:08:09,660 they're a middleman. They sell you the offsets. So if you want 1171 01:08:09,690 --> 01:08:13,020 that thing is voluntary, which makes me really wonder about 1172 01:08:13,020 --> 01:08:16,380 people but okay, so I can vote and I feel guilt and guilt 1173 01:08:16,380 --> 01:08:19,680 ridden. I'm a guilt ridden Canadian. And I feel that I am 1174 01:08:19,680 --> 01:08:22,710 going to chew up you know, so much terrible. I'm going to burn 1175 01:08:22,710 --> 01:08:26,580 so much fossil fuel and the trip from Toronto to Vancouver. I can 1176 01:08:26,610 --> 01:08:29,970 offset this by buying some carbon credits at the kiosk when 1177 01:08:29,970 --> 01:08:34,200 I buy my ticket cost me about 28 bucks. So the guy apparently the 1178 01:08:34,200 --> 01:08:38,430 Canadians did a deal with some, some farmer some woods, some guy 1179 01:08:38,430 --> 01:08:43,830 who owns a bunch of acreage in BC. And He plants a tree for you 1180 01:08:43,830 --> 01:08:45,870 know, a couple of trees. Right. That's 1181 01:08:45,870 --> 01:08:48,600 what we talked about about planting some trees and selling 1182 01:08:48,600 --> 01:08:50,160 the paper to people about that. 1183 01:08:50,250 --> 01:08:52,860 So he sold the paper right we did we talked about it. We 1184 01:08:52,860 --> 01:08:56,700 actually discussed it. These guys do have had a meeting last 1185 01:08:56,700 --> 01:08:59,610 week as we were we weren't getting enough from our 1186 01:08:59,640 --> 01:09:01,080 listeners and we're gonna quit 1187 01:09:01,110 --> 01:09:05,160 we had one meeting and look where it got us. We're now able 1188 01:09:05,160 --> 01:09:06,330 to say told you so. 1189 01:09:07,319 --> 01:09:11,129 Anyway, so they saw the guy so this do gooder apparently lives 1190 01:09:11,129 --> 01:09:15,509 in BC and so he decided after he paid his 28 bucks to go check 1191 01:09:15,509 --> 01:09:20,279 out. Oh, right, very good. So he goes wandering around, and they 1192 01:09:20,279 --> 01:09:23,159 show them film of it. And of course there this is an uptempo 1193 01:09:23,159 --> 01:09:26,219 piece kind of promoting it but at the same time on every time 1194 01:09:26,219 --> 01:09:30,569 they turn around, there's some scam and then the gate says that 1195 01:09:30,569 --> 01:09:33,269 these trees aren't going to grow and he's got to go to this 1196 01:09:33,269 --> 01:09:36,119 place. It was overwritten by blackberries and if anyone in 1197 01:09:36,119 --> 01:09:38,939 the Pacific Northwest knows anything at all, is that 1198 01:09:38,939 --> 01:09:42,209 blackberries just wreck the place. I mean, they just are 1199 01:09:42,239 --> 01:09:43,319 they're just terrible. So 1200 01:09:43,320 --> 01:09:46,860 the guy out of good conscious bought bought some credits, and 1201 01:09:46,860 --> 01:09:49,290 then he went to check on the credits and it turns out it was 1202 01:09:49,290 --> 01:09:50,010 bogus. 1203 01:09:50,580 --> 01:09:52,890 It was a bit though they planted the trees but the trees were 1204 01:09:52,890 --> 01:09:58,410 dead. Apparently, this happened with some bands, some rock band, 1205 01:09:58,680 --> 01:10:00,930 who also you know, it's like can't remember the name of them, 1206 01:10:00,930 --> 01:10:04,560 but they apparently offset their concerts. And so they buy, they 1207 01:10:04,560 --> 01:10:08,430 tried a mango try to start a mango grove in India, which was 1208 01:10:08,430 --> 01:10:12,330 supposed to offset their costs and the grove died. And then 1209 01:10:12,330 --> 01:10:15,030 apparently a bunch of Hollywood stars who they're trying to 1210 01:10:15,030 --> 01:10:18,630 sucker into this, because they're so stupid. They gave him 1211 01:10:18,630 --> 01:10:21,450 a bunch of carbon credits during one of the award ceremonies. And 1212 01:10:21,450 --> 01:10:24,750 then it turns out, there was another failed experiment. And 1213 01:10:24,750 --> 01:10:26,730 so these guys who had running all these carbon credit 1214 01:10:26,730 --> 01:10:30,510 operation, well, you know, we're still striving, we're playing 1215 01:10:30,510 --> 01:10:33,600 with the model, and it's gonna work out because we have to do 1216 01:10:33,600 --> 01:10:36,780 something about global warming, and on and on and on him do 1217 01:10:36,780 --> 01:10:40,800 watch it, this whole thing is outrageous scam, man. And the 1218 01:10:40,800 --> 01:10:45,480 fact that anybody's buying into it in any way is amazing to me. 1219 01:10:45,510 --> 01:10:48,990 And it continues, like that guy who went into the BC forest to 1220 01:10:48,990 --> 01:10:51,300 see these dead trees as well, I'll find some other way to 1221 01:10:51,300 --> 01:10:55,140 offset my credits. My carbon use my carbon footprint, I got to 1222 01:10:55,140 --> 01:10:55,560 offset. 1223 01:10:56,100 --> 01:10:59,580 Why don't we? Here's I mean, first of all, we know that the 1224 01:10:59,580 --> 01:11:03,660 number one resource that is eating up resources in the 1225 01:11:03,660 --> 01:11:07,320 world, and that is causing biodiversity is the human 1226 01:11:07,320 --> 01:11:12,030 resource. Right? Everyone says this. So of course, we're not 1227 01:11:12,030 --> 01:11:15,990 going to kill people. But why don't why don't we with our no 1228 01:11:15,990 --> 01:11:19,590 agenda, human resources, set up a Carbon Credit where we're all 1229 01:11:19,620 --> 01:11:23,670 we'll all promise to not breathe for 10 minutes a day? 1230 01:11:24,090 --> 01:11:26,070 That's well, I don't know about not breathing. I think you'll 1231 01:11:26,070 --> 01:11:27,210 you'll plant a tree? 1232 01:11:27,390 --> 01:11:30,870 No, no, no, we just keep our mouth shut or we fart less. We 1233 01:11:30,870 --> 01:11:34,020 keep our mouth shut and we hold it in. And we can measure that 1234 01:11:34,020 --> 01:11:37,230 we can we can measure how much co2 We're saving? I bet you it's 1235 01:11:37,230 --> 01:11:40,080 a lot more than you think it is. And we can sell that with 1236 01:11:40,080 --> 01:11:40,860 everybody 1237 01:11:40,890 --> 01:11:43,050 spent. How about how long you have to hold your breath? 1238 01:11:43,740 --> 01:11:46,620 Well, a total of 10 minutes in a whole day. So you could do like, 1239 01:11:46,920 --> 01:11:48,870 you could do 20 times 30 seconds. 1240 01:11:50,220 --> 01:11:52,530 All right, anyone could do that have enough people we could 1241 01:11:53,130 --> 01:11:57,030 carbon credit, we could make a credit out of that. We have to 1242 01:11:57,030 --> 01:11:59,340 do the calculation. Some mathematician listens to the 1243 01:11:59,340 --> 01:12:02,130 show could do that. And then we could trade that on the Chicago 1244 01:12:02,130 --> 01:12:06,270 exchange. And exactly. Now we're somebody's guilt written person 1245 01:12:06,270 --> 01:12:07,860 who wants to fly from here to there. I'm 1246 01:12:07,860 --> 01:12:10,290 telling you, we got Well, the thing is you got to market it. 1247 01:12:10,440 --> 01:12:12,690 So you have to have a partner. I'm starting to see how this 1248 01:12:12,690 --> 01:12:15,570 works. Now you have to have a partner like an airline, who was 1249 01:12:15,570 --> 01:12:17,670 then going to be the middleman. And so 1250 01:12:17,700 --> 01:12:20,910 right now they named the companies in this in this show. 1251 01:12:20,910 --> 01:12:24,510 There's a bunch of these companies that are the ones who 1252 01:12:24,510 --> 01:12:27,780 sold the airline there are the guys who want to get those are 1253 01:12:27,780 --> 01:12:30,870 the people. It's like carbon credits, Inc, there's a whole 1254 01:12:30,870 --> 01:12:32,460 bunch of weird little companies 1255 01:12:32,640 --> 01:12:35,760 that we become one of those carbon credit things we become 1256 01:12:35,790 --> 01:12:36,960 human resource. 1257 01:12:37,830 --> 01:12:41,160 I think this is the mistake we made to begin with. I think this 1258 01:12:41,160 --> 01:12:44,670 is a closed club. Right? These guys? Well, no, 1259 01:12:44,670 --> 01:12:48,060 it's not John, because this is what I'm reading reading that 1260 01:12:48,210 --> 01:12:52,050 the EU climate Commissioner Connie Hedegaard is she saying 1261 01:12:52,050 --> 01:12:55,650 these projects raised concerns relating to their environmental 1262 01:12:55,650 --> 01:12:59,220 integrity value for money geographical distribution, it's 1263 01:12:59,220 --> 01:13:02,190 not it's out of control, they have no handle on it. People 1264 01:13:02,190 --> 01:13:05,520 have jumped on this, because they knew we have all of these 1265 01:13:05,550 --> 01:13:07,740 you right? The Hollywood celebrities who are selling it 1266 01:13:07,740 --> 01:13:10,050 in everyone's like, Oh, climbing, I gotta buy me an 1267 01:13:10,050 --> 01:13:14,400 offset, you know, it's in. It's in the psyche, the biodiversity. 1268 01:13:14,610 --> 01:13:17,250 It's all in there, people are ready for it. They just need the 1269 01:13:17,250 --> 01:13:20,100 final bit of marketing, which is you know, and we can do it all 1270 01:13:20,100 --> 01:13:24,450 online, we can have some beautiful websites. Right? And 1271 01:13:24,450 --> 01:13:28,140 you're going to buy a credit to offset something. We just have 1272 01:13:28,140 --> 01:13:31,110 to find what what does everybody do that they that they need to 1273 01:13:31,110 --> 01:13:36,090 offset? So everyone uses their phone. Right? And that's a 1274 01:13:36,090 --> 01:13:39,240 horrible, it's horrible for the environment. So we can sell a 1275 01:13:39,240 --> 01:13:42,000 credit for using your phone for using Twitter or something like 1276 01:13:42,000 --> 01:13:46,110 that. I don't know. We'll think we can do this. We can do it. 1277 01:13:46,110 --> 01:13:47,250 Come on, John. We can do it. 1278 01:13:47,730 --> 01:13:51,810 Yeah, let's, let's do a show. 1279 01:13:53,010 --> 01:13:56,310 I'm gonna show my mood by donating to no agenda. Imagine 1280 01:13:56,310 --> 01:13:59,010 all the people who could do that. Oh, yeah. That'd be fun 1281 01:14:06,630 --> 01:14:08,850 we're already halfway we're already more than halfway 1282 01:14:08,850 --> 01:14:10,290 through the show. What happened? 1283 01:14:10,980 --> 01:14:17,400 Yeah, well. What's let's thanks some, some human resources for 1284 01:14:17,640 --> 01:14:21,720 In fact, you know what, John? The answer is so simple. It's 1285 01:14:21,720 --> 01:14:27,540 right in front of us. We should not be asking people to sponsor 1286 01:14:27,570 --> 01:14:30,870 to support the show. We should be asking people to buy carbon 1287 01:14:30,870 --> 01:14:36,000 credits to support the show. Why don't we just people would just 1288 01:14:36,000 --> 01:14:39,780 buy carbon credits. And then they can take this will give 1289 01:14:39,780 --> 01:14:44,220 them stickers, certificates, all kinds of stuff they can show to 1290 01:14:44,220 --> 01:14:47,490 their friends. And these people also go Yeah, that's that's no 1291 01:14:47,490 --> 01:14:50,100 agenda show. That's good because you can it's a it's good for 1292 01:14:50,100 --> 01:14:53,490 biodiversity. You can buy carbon credits, 1293 01:14:53,610 --> 01:14:57,870 sort of. We just sell the credit straight straight up. Who, 1294 01:14:58,560 --> 01:15:03,300 who bought some credits from us from carbon credits for this 1295 01:15:03,300 --> 01:15:04,170 episode of the metal 1296 01:15:04,710 --> 01:15:11,790 bride from Martin, Merseyside and UK 111 11 which is we have a 1297 01:15:11,790 --> 01:15:15,150 program now you should check it out go to bark.org/na and check 1298 01:15:15,150 --> 01:15:18,750 out the one one by the way somebody pointed out in an email 1299 01:15:18,750 --> 01:15:21,510 one of our producers that this is a weird year because we have 1300 01:15:21,720 --> 01:15:31,080 the four weird dates you got one 111 111 1111 111 and 11 1111 1301 01:15:31,080 --> 01:15:35,970 which is what we're celebrating with the 111111 right right and 1302 01:15:36,030 --> 01:15:41,910 made mention that if you take the if you take the year which 1303 01:15:41,910 --> 01:15:50,640 is 2011 and add your your your birth date that you your 1304 01:15:50,640 --> 01:15:52,860 birthday, you how old you are. 1305 01:15:56,190 --> 01:15:58,770 I have this one of those three cubed things that you're gonna 1306 01:15:58,770 --> 01:16:00,600 screw up and I'm gonna get a million emails. 1307 01:16:01,920 --> 01:16:04,680 We'll get to this later, because I'll read it exactly because 1308 01:16:04,680 --> 01:16:06,780 it's very interesting. That is remember we talked about this 1412 01:22:20,310 --> 01:22:23,550 now it's like you have to pay 40 bucks per person and you get it 1413 01:22:23,550 --> 01:22:25,680 and it's like a pre approval process. It's 1414 01:22:25,680 --> 01:22:27,990 really trying to keep tourists out of the country. Yes. Yeah, 1415 01:22:27,990 --> 01:22:30,750 it's all for your security of course. No, it's 1416 01:22:30,750 --> 01:22:34,890 horrible. It's It's outrageous. Is that right? And remember this 1417 01:22:34,890 --> 01:22:37,590 is the system where I got messed up in the system even though I 1418 01:22:37,590 --> 01:22:41,490 have an American passport. Because if you don't pay your 1419 01:22:41,520 --> 01:22:46,410 your fee, your esta fi then you don't get your boarding pass 1420 01:22:46,440 --> 01:22:48,960 they're linking it into the ticketing system now it's 1421 01:22:49,380 --> 01:22:55,110 apparent that don't come to it stay away no come to see us 1422 01:22:56,160 --> 01:22:58,530 you know in the way they should do it. You know if you're gonna 1423 01:22:58,530 --> 01:23:01,860 pull this dual crap you know you do it the way that Chinese do it 1424 01:23:01,860 --> 01:23:05,220 the way these other countries do it is you have an exit fee. 1425 01:23:05,730 --> 01:23:08,580 Right? That's true. There's many countries that end if you don't 1426 01:23:08,580 --> 01:23:09,570 pay your exit fee, 1427 01:23:09,780 --> 01:23:13,440 you miss your flight. Yeah, you miss your bus the way you do it 1428 01:23:13,440 --> 01:23:14,460 right are they thinking 1429 01:23:14,519 --> 01:23:17,429 exit fee and many islands have the islands have a lot of it 1430 01:23:17,429 --> 01:23:20,339 because you like you'd like to be there and all of a sudden you 1431 01:23:20,339 --> 01:23:23,279 get to the 100 bucks like a family of for 200 bucks. 1432 01:23:23,910 --> 01:23:26,280 I know you go to these countries by the way, this is a warning 1433 01:23:26,280 --> 01:23:28,650 for people who are not used to traveling internationally but 1434 01:23:28,650 --> 01:23:31,920 you go to these places and you know you spend all your money 1435 01:23:31,920 --> 01:23:34,440 and all of a sudden you get to the airport and you find out at 1436 01:23:34,440 --> 01:23:35,310 the last minute there's 1437 01:23:35,430 --> 01:23:38,400 another 200 bucks for four people like 1438 01:23:39,780 --> 01:23:42,480 and you have to buy these exit rules that you bought go to it 1439 01:23:42,480 --> 01:23:46,770 there's a vending machine and you have to whatever little 1440 01:23:46,770 --> 01:23:49,740 money you have left you have to shove it in this machine and get 1441 01:23:49,740 --> 01:23:52,830 this little card and if you don't have the little card to 1442 01:23:52,830 --> 01:23:56,310 this exit visa the exit paths to get out of the country you can't 1443 01:23:56,310 --> 01:23:57,030 they won't ticket 1444 01:23:57,720 --> 01:24:00,240 I agree with you. It's really smart because you're you're 1445 01:24:00,240 --> 01:24:02,730 annoyed when it happens but you don't want to miss your flight. 1446 01:24:02,730 --> 01:24:06,000 So you're all flustered. Like a little disappointing. Just use 1447 01:24:06,000 --> 01:24:08,820 the credit card and then you pay for it and then but that by the 1448 01:24:08,820 --> 01:24:12,600 time you're home you're looking at the pictures your videos, 1449 01:24:12,600 --> 01:24:15,750 you've forgotten about it. Right and you do have to think about 1450 01:24:15,750 --> 01:24:18,840 it before going you're like screw it I want to go it's a 1451 01:24:18,840 --> 01:24:19,230 pain in the 1452 01:24:19,620 --> 01:24:22,320 butt is a bad way to do it. This is this is our American 1453 01:24:22,320 --> 01:24:23,490 government idiots. 1454 01:24:24,240 --> 01:24:27,780 We're okay with you charging the foreigners. You know, George fund a horse who was 1521 01:28:22,530 --> 01:28:26,850 donated quite a bit in fact, George is he's got the no agenda 1522 01:28:26,850 --> 01:28:30,450 coin. Already send me the whole note from his account. By the 1523 01:28:30,450 --> 01:28:32,910 way. She hacked into his email account to send that to make 1524 01:28:32,910 --> 01:28:36,540 sure I saw it. He does the no agenda stickers. He puts them 1525 01:28:36,540 --> 01:28:40,200 everywhere. Whenever he's in a traffic jam. He puts them on on 1526 01:28:40,200 --> 01:28:44,730 the ferry boat on gas pumps. He's a founding no agenda stream 1527 01:28:44,730 --> 01:28:49,830 producer. He called pumps. Yes. He calls his his kids midget 1528 01:28:49,830 --> 01:28:55,800 slaves ie many nights. And it's his birthday and she wanted us 1529 01:28:55,800 --> 01:28:58,980 to send out a big happy birthday to him. So we are happy to do 1530 01:28:58,980 --> 01:29:01,740 that. There's never seen her picture and George lucky 1533 01:29:09,930 --> 01:29:13,740 man. And and what she really wanted to is if we could do a 1534 01:29:13,740 --> 01:29:17,250 ringtone for George for his birthday. What would you like? I 1535 01:29:17,250 --> 01:29:20,940 don't know. Like, do something to say his name. It's always 1536 01:29:20,940 --> 01:29:23,370 funny. When you say his name, 1537 01:29:23,790 --> 01:29:26,340 you just want me to say no. Yeah, he unless somebody 1538 01:29:26,340 --> 01:29:30,690 requests it. She's where she wants to Odroid Vanderhorst? Is 1539 01:29:30,720 --> 01:29:32,700 is that a couple of hard name to say? 1540 01:29:32,790 --> 01:29:35,850 Well say George Vanderhorst your telephone cat. 1541 01:29:36,870 --> 01:29:39,120 What? Telephone clunk. 1542 01:29:40,500 --> 01:29:42,690 George from the horse you telephone cop. 1543 01:29:43,650 --> 01:29:45,990 George Vanderhorst your telephone 1544 01:29:52,140 --> 01:29:54,960 I think that will do it. Okay, thank you. I think that's 1545 01:29:54,960 --> 01:29:55,470 perfect. 1546 01:29:55,620 --> 01:29:57,750 I think she's your telephones ringing and what does that mean? 1547 01:29:57,750 --> 01:29:58,260 Yes means 1548 01:29:58,260 --> 01:30:01,290 your phone's ringing. Exactly. Hmm, 1549 01:30:02,040 --> 01:30:04,650 okay, well, yeah, good luck with that. Yeah. 1550 01:30:04,950 --> 01:30:11,670 So within a few weeks according to numerous reports, John, we 1551 01:30:11,670 --> 01:30:16,350 will have a second sun in the sky. Have you heard this? 1552 01:30:17,699 --> 01:30:20,099 This is a report that's come and gone a couple of times. Oh, 1553 01:30:20,099 --> 01:30:22,859 really? I was gonna do it Planet X. No, this is 1554 01:30:23,099 --> 01:30:23,999 Beetlejuice 1555 01:30:25,110 --> 01:30:29,040 Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is. I'm aware. 1556 01:30:29,190 --> 01:30:33,390 Beetlejuice is losing mass or fuel in its center and will 1557 01:30:33,390 --> 01:30:36,720 explode when it runs out creating a second sun in the 1558 01:30:36,720 --> 01:30:40,680 night sky. This is a star Beetlejuice it's also a movie 1559 01:30:40,740 --> 01:30:42,960 but we know what is the star? Oh, there's 1560 01:30:43,020 --> 01:30:45,600 Well yeah, but there's there another movie too. That's 1561 01:30:45,600 --> 01:30:46,110 besides the 1562 01:30:46,530 --> 01:30:49,530 field juice three might be on its way. However, when the giant 1563 01:30:49,530 --> 01:30:52,500 star which is much brighter than the Sun explodes there will be 1564 01:30:52,500 --> 01:30:58,440 no night for several weeks on Earth. This will be a supernova. 1565 01:30:59,100 --> 01:31:01,050 He couldn't agree rock a crowd though. But 1566 01:31:01,050 --> 01:31:05,040 here's the tip off. It could happen tomorrow. Or in a million 1567 01:31:05,040 --> 01:31:10,860 years. So yeah, I think in Beetlejuice the movie part isn't 1568 01:31:10,860 --> 01:31:13,740 there. There's already been a part two as in there. It's gotta 1569 01:31:13,740 --> 01:31:16,230 be it's gotta be the third Michael Keaton. Well, Michael 1570 01:31:16,230 --> 01:31:20,010 Keaton has got his other movie coming out to the ark movie. But 1571 01:31:20,340 --> 01:31:23,970 a lot of people talking about this and the Stargate is opening 1572 01:31:23,970 --> 01:31:24,750 for sure now, 1573 01:31:25,110 --> 01:31:26,790 the one with the fish. Yes. 1574 01:31:28,380 --> 01:31:32,430 The earth is in upheaval in northeastern Africa. The region 1575 01:31:32,430 --> 01:31:35,850 is changing very quickly, John, the desert floor is quaking and 1576 01:31:35,850 --> 01:31:41,490 splitting open. Volcanoes are boiling over and sea waters are 1577 01:31:41,490 --> 01:31:45,690 encroaching upon the land. Africa, researchers are certain 1578 01:31:45,690 --> 01:31:50,190 is splitting apart at a rate rarely seen in geology. And this 1579 01:31:50,190 --> 01:31:54,240 fracture is from the Red Sea to the Gulf of Aden. There it is 1580 01:31:54,240 --> 01:31:58,500 the Gulf of Aden where the Stargate is located. So you can 1581 01:31:58,500 --> 01:32:00,630 just wait for it they got pictures of this now they got 1582 01:32:00,630 --> 01:32:02,940 pictures of Africa splitting apart. 1583 01:32:03,630 --> 01:32:07,050 Well, I think we should send the fishing boats from Japan into 1584 01:32:07,050 --> 01:32:10,710 that area because the fish will be just coming out all kinds of 1585 01:32:10,710 --> 01:32:11,370 weird fish. 1586 01:32:12,390 --> 01:32:14,940 Well, I find that highly interesting. The worth is the 1587 01:32:14,940 --> 01:32:19,350 earth is definitely tumultuous I saw a guy on Hollywood and and 1588 01:32:19,350 --> 01:32:22,920 Highland yesterday. And he had a sign I was too bad. I was in the 1589 01:32:22,920 --> 01:32:25,470 car because I would have taken one of his pamphlets. He had a 1590 01:32:25,470 --> 01:32:34,980 sign the end of the earth may 21 2011. It's Biblical. And he 1591 01:32:36,300 --> 01:32:37,770 said, Yeah, it's biblical. I 1592 01:32:37,770 --> 01:32:38,820 interview these guys. Well, 1593 01:32:38,820 --> 01:32:41,130 I know I know, I would have loved to talk to the guy. He had 1594 01:32:41,130 --> 01:32:44,220 pamphlets but he was on the other side and I was in, in the 1595 01:32:44,220 --> 01:32:48,240 car should have pulled over. It's not that simple at the 1596 01:32:48,240 --> 01:32:52,680 corner of Hollywood and Highland, but the May 21 2011, 1597 01:32:52,680 --> 01:32:56,400 apparently is, is when the end is coming. According to these 1598 01:32:56,400 --> 01:32:59,550 guys, you know, hey, you're not standing out in Hollywood and 1599 01:32:59,550 --> 01:33:02,490 Highland for nothing. You clearly know something. If 1600 01:33:02,490 --> 01:33:05,190 you're doing that, then that's dedication. And we do it two 1601 01:33:05,190 --> 01:33:09,150 days, two days a week we do the show. These guys are out there 1602 01:33:09,150 --> 01:33:09,960 all the time. So 1603 01:33:09,990 --> 01:33:13,800 you know, I've talked to a lot of these guys, would you because 1604 01:33:13,800 --> 01:33:16,500 when you finally break, you know decide to talk to one of them. 1605 01:33:16,500 --> 01:33:20,850 You realize that many of them are erudite. What does they 1606 01:33:20,850 --> 01:33:23,910 actually have a story to tell and it's usable? Yes. Sounds 1607 01:33:23,910 --> 01:33:24,840 reasonably No, 1608 01:33:24,840 --> 01:33:27,420 it's what I'm saying. It's absolutely reasonable. 1609 01:33:28,050 --> 01:33:32,010 It's What's so weird about it. Is that like they're crazy. Oh, 1610 01:33:32,010 --> 01:33:34,560 well it would be they are but it's not like they're just not 1611 01:33:34,560 --> 01:33:35,760 like they sound crazy. 1612 01:33:36,540 --> 01:33:39,300 Well, the one that the thing that was that is disconcerting. 1613 01:33:39,300 --> 01:33:43,680 And I also spoke to I sent an email to the our Baron now 1614 01:33:43,710 --> 01:33:46,170 because he has some connections in the business and a couple 1615 01:33:46,170 --> 01:33:50,790 other people. I think it propagated because Engadget got 1616 01:33:50,790 --> 01:33:55,560 a hold of a no tam notice to Airmen, I, airman, and OTA M. 1617 01:33:56,130 --> 01:34:01,260 That said that come February, in the southeastern US, the Defense 1618 01:34:01,260 --> 01:34:06,420 Department issued a notice to Airmen that GPS signals would be 1619 01:34:06,420 --> 01:34:12,660 unreliable for about a month. And yeah, oh, yeah, this is this 1620 01:34:12,660 --> 01:34:16,890 is quite amazing. If you look at the map, it reaches from Alabama 1621 01:34:16,920 --> 01:34:21,540 in the west, to far beyond the coast of the Carolinas, all the 1622 01:34:21,540 --> 01:34:24,450 way up to Virginia. And 1623 01:34:26,580 --> 01:34:29,010 it sounds like the Bermuda Triangle. 1624 01:34:29,070 --> 01:34:31,590 Well, and it's interesting because this is what everyone 1625 01:34:31,590 --> 01:34:34,080 was emailing me about. The Defense Department will be 1626 01:34:34,080 --> 01:34:37,650 conducting tests between January 20. So that's a it's already 1627 01:34:37,650 --> 01:34:43,380 underway and February 22. And these tests will act will be 1628 01:34:43,380 --> 01:34:47,010 activated for 45 minute periods followed by 15 minutes of off 1629 01:34:47,010 --> 01:34:53,310 time. And GPS signals may become unreliable at that point. Now 1630 01:34:53,310 --> 01:34:57,210 there is a another no Tam, because then of course now I 1631 01:34:57,210 --> 01:35:02,460 went looking for it. And this is for the West. And this is for 1632 01:35:02,640 --> 01:35:07,860 January 16, to the 23rd. So it just ended centered in Port of 1633 01:35:08,190 --> 01:35:12,360 Porterville, California exact same thing, however, is a little 1634 01:35:12,360 --> 01:35:20,310 more information about this is that apparently, to me, the GPS, 1635 01:35:20,310 --> 01:35:23,760 it's a very simple system, you got satellites in the sky, and 1636 01:35:23,760 --> 01:35:28,020 they send down a signal and your GPS is just a receiver, and it 1637 01:35:28,020 --> 01:35:30,510 has to locate at least three of them, I guess most of them these 1638 01:35:30,510 --> 01:35:33,930 days get like 12 or 14. And it triangulate, so it knows where 1639 01:35:33,930 --> 01:35:34,440 you are. 1640 01:35:34,830 --> 01:35:38,790 Yeah, it can do a fairly decent job with Yeah, with two and a 1641 01:35:38,790 --> 01:35:40,320 third one occasionally. So 1642 01:35:40,350 --> 01:35:44,370 the only way to mess up GPS is by broadcasting on the same 1643 01:35:44,370 --> 01:35:56,370 frequency, which is 1.57542 gigahertz and 1.22760 gigahertz. 1644 01:35:58,620 --> 01:36:01,830 And then so they're broadcasting on those frequencies. This is 1645 01:36:01,830 --> 01:36:05,460 not a harp frequency, because those are much, much lower. to I 1646 01:36:05,460 --> 01:36:06,450 don't know what it is, 1647 01:36:06,480 --> 01:36:10,890 or it could be a UW EB test to ultra wideband which impinges on 1648 01:36:10,890 --> 01:36:12,300 GPS numbers, why 1649 01:36:12,300 --> 01:36:15,990 would they know the FAA is not really saying what it's for, and 1650 01:36:15,990 --> 01:36:21,120 no one really knows. And hopefully most airmen have, have 1651 01:36:21,120 --> 01:36:25,650 indeed, read this and know about it now, because it's messed up 1652 01:36:25,650 --> 01:36:29,130 when your GPS don't work. I mean, a lot a lot of pilots 1653 01:36:29,130 --> 01:36:32,400 today have pretty much grown up relying on these things don't do 1654 01:36:32,400 --> 01:36:35,610 much, you know, with the with the old steam gauges anymore. 1655 01:36:36,240 --> 01:36:38,070 And it's it's quite dangerous. 1656 01:36:40,230 --> 01:36:42,300 I think they're testing a communication system. 1657 01:36:42,959 --> 01:36:47,999 something they're doing some, but it's but the FAA doesn't say 1658 01:36:47,999 --> 01:36:50,069 anything about it. Just like yeah, what test them it's 1659 01:36:50,069 --> 01:36:50,609 government. 1660 01:36:50,610 --> 01:36:54,150 It's some defense department thing. I don't like that. Well, 1661 01:36:54,150 --> 01:36:57,090 they'd have to test once in a while and they try to make it so 1662 01:36:57,090 --> 01:37:01,320 it's, you know, doesn't impinge on too much Porterville. I mean, 1663 01:37:01,320 --> 01:37:02,400 who flies there? 1664 01:37:02,490 --> 01:37:07,770 Well, no, but the circle is all the way is San Francisco to LA. 1665 01:37:07,770 --> 01:37:11,490 I mean, it's a big circle. It's a very, it's 1666 01:37:11,490 --> 01:37:14,040 a very big circle. Okay, well, we'll keep that in mind. 1667 01:37:15,270 --> 01:37:18,840 There were a couple of see I did have a couple of clips. I had a 1668 01:37:18,840 --> 01:37:21,570 couple of real Gitmo nation clips, which I thought would be 1669 01:37:21,720 --> 01:37:22,860 interesting to share with the 1670 01:37:22,860 --> 01:37:26,310 group. This is a nightmare. 1720 01:40:00,510 --> 01:40:05,880 This is an absolute nightmare. I mean Denver cabbies I think a 1721 01:40:05,880 --> 01:40:10,170 lot of them. Last time I was in Denver, which is a while ago, a 1722 01:40:10,170 --> 01:40:15,420 lot of them were a Colorado born and bred. But it Los Angeles, 1723 01:40:15,420 --> 01:40:16,890 San Francisco, New York. 1724 01:40:16,920 --> 01:40:17,880 They're all Pakistani. 1725 01:40:17,910 --> 01:40:20,340 Are you kidding now in in LA, they're 1726 01:40:21,120 --> 01:40:22,080 I think Russian mob, 1727 01:40:22,110 --> 01:40:25,110 Russia. They're Russian or Iranian. 1728 01:40:26,009 --> 01:40:28,049 Oh, there's a lot of Iranians. Uh, yeah, there were a lot of 1729 01:40:28,049 --> 01:40:29,549 Iranian cab drivers here and there. 1730 01:40:30,390 --> 01:40:33,960 I was like, this is just a nightmare. It's a nightmare. And 1731 01:40:34,350 --> 01:40:37,260 it's just ridiculous swamp. And I think this is a great program. 1732 01:40:37,260 --> 01:40:37,320 I 1733 01:40:37,320 --> 01:40:39,900 think it's great for our community. I think that people 1734 01:40:39,900 --> 01:40:42,330 can feel safer in their communities knowing that you'd 1735 01:40:42,330 --> 01:40:44,340 have extra eyes out there helping the police department, 1736 01:40:44,370 --> 01:40:47,340 you know, solve crimes and keep our crime rate low and keep our 1737 01:40:47,340 --> 01:40:48,930 streets safe. In Denver, 1738 01:40:48,930 --> 01:40:49,680 Corey rose 1739 01:40:49,710 --> 01:40:53,340 nine keep our streets safe. It's good. It's really good. 1740 01:40:54,450 --> 01:40:56,160 Frightening is what this is. 1741 01:40:56,610 --> 01:41:03,750 Well, it's good to have a more uplifting initiative going on 1742 01:41:03,750 --> 01:41:07,380 here in the Bay Area. Okay. It's a new school idea. Oh, 1743 01:41:08,160 --> 01:41:11,520 we're always for education here at the no agenda show is very 1744 01:41:11,520 --> 01:41:13,950 educational. I hit it. When somebody smiles and friendly and shows off the 1751 01:41:40,440 --> 01:41:42,900 brace you are smiling and about 150. 1752 01:41:46,590 --> 01:41:50,580 Respect and smile. By the way, did you hear that in the 1753 01:41:50,580 --> 01:41:53,040 background? There's a kid like screaming and terror. 1754 01:41:55,080 --> 01:41:58,830 They brought a camera to the school. And the kids went crazy. 1755 01:41:59,190 --> 01:42:01,530 Friendly and shows off their brace. You were smiling and 1756 01:42:01,530 --> 01:42:04,650 about 100 Fine. It was it was back a little. 1757 01:42:05,010 --> 01:42:06,870 It was really funny for Smile Day. 1758 01:42:08,700 --> 01:42:11,580 In the San Francisco Unified School District, you can wait 1759 01:42:12,090 --> 01:42:15,480 the reason for Smile Day. It makes people more approachable, 1760 01:42:15,750 --> 01:42:21,180 much easier for us to get along. Yeah, there he is. 1761 01:42:22,860 --> 01:42:24,240 Well, I think that's a good initiative. 1762 01:42:24,270 --> 01:42:27,660 Yeah, you know, one condition there's no comment there's a 1763 01:42:27,660 --> 01:42:29,730 carbon credit in there and smiling isn't there. There 1764 01:42:29,730 --> 01:42:32,040 should be a carbon credit smiling we should probably make, 1765 01:42:32,250 --> 01:42:35,820 find some way to sell it to the exchange, go to 1766 01:42:35,820 --> 01:42:41,310 a Gitmo nation, United States of Europe. Very interesting, a use 1767 01:42:41,310 --> 01:42:46,170 of your soon to be European a global tax money, the Sartre 1768 01:42:46,170 --> 01:42:51,870 project, which is quite an interesting one. Well, there's, 1769 01:42:52,140 --> 01:42:55,980 this is actually kind of almost an ask John segment. Tell me 1770 01:42:55,980 --> 01:42:57,390 what's wrong with this idea. 1771 01:42:58,380 --> 01:43:01,290 It looks like any other truck that just happens to have a 1772 01:43:01,290 --> 01:43:05,610 private car very close behind it. But what is unique is that 1773 01:43:05,610 --> 01:43:08,850 this truck is a lead vehicle for a platoon. The car in this 1774 01:43:08,850 --> 01:43:12,120 platoon drives autonomously and communicates wirelessly with the 1775 01:43:12,120 --> 01:43:16,080 truck. After more than a year and a half's concentrated work. 1776 01:43:16,200 --> 01:43:19,050 These proud researchers here at Volvo's Test Track outside 1777 01:43:19,050 --> 01:43:22,500 Gothenburg are able to unveil the embryo to what at sometime 1778 01:43:22,500 --> 01:43:24,630 in the future will be a road train. 1779 01:43:25,560 --> 01:43:29,550 The vehicle is driven by a human driver. And we're monitoring how 1780 01:43:29,550 --> 01:43:32,070 the driver is driving. So we're looking at steering wheel angle 1781 01:43:32,070 --> 01:43:35,190 and its speed and accelerations. And those signals are measured 1782 01:43:35,280 --> 01:43:38,160 and communicated to the cars which are behind. And these cars 1783 01:43:38,160 --> 01:43:40,830 which are following are driving autonomously. So they're trying 1784 01:43:40,830 --> 01:43:44,190 to copy what the truck driver has done at the same time. So 1785 01:43:44,190 --> 01:43:47,820 you get the idea, right? It's a truck is driving. And then you 1786 01:43:47,820 --> 01:43:50,940 have the system on board, you pull up behind him you in 1787 01:43:50,970 --> 01:43:55,530 engage, and then your car basically follows the truck. And 1788 01:43:55,530 --> 01:43:58,230 yeah, does whatever it does. And then but then more cars can get 1789 01:43:58,230 --> 01:44:01,770 behind you and you're a train, then you are actually a human 1790 01:44:01,770 --> 01:44:02,880 train. And it gets better 1791 01:44:02,880 --> 01:44:05,250 than sensors into vehicles that measure distance between the 1792 01:44:05,250 --> 01:44:07,560 vehicles. And this, of course costs hundreds of millions of 1793 01:44:07,560 --> 01:44:08,160 euros 1794 01:44:08,190 --> 01:44:09,930 that they could project so 1795 01:44:09,960 --> 01:44:12,750 we have an extra mechanism for keeping a safe distance between 1796 01:44:12,750 --> 01:44:13,260 the vehicles. 1797 01:44:13,650 --> 01:44:16,560 I encourage anyone who listens to the show, get some money for 1798 01:44:16,560 --> 01:44:19,740 a project like this. This is great. And of course, it's all 1799 01:44:19,740 --> 01:44:20,970 for biodiversity. 1800 01:44:21,150 --> 01:44:24,090 The goal of this EU project is to make tomorrow's traffic both 1801 01:44:24,090 --> 01:44:28,740 safer and more environmentally sound. As a driver within a road 1802 01:44:28,740 --> 01:44:30,660 train. The idea is in fact, here 1803 01:44:30,660 --> 01:44:33,750 it comes. What is the point of this? John, what is the actual 1804 01:44:33,750 --> 01:44:36,180 point of this project? 1805 01:44:36,930 --> 01:44:41,280 To is either to prevent global warming or to I have no idea 1806 01:44:41,280 --> 01:44:41,550 here 1807 01:44:42,630 --> 01:44:46,140 comes to be able to both read the newspaper and eat breakfast. 1808 01:44:46,440 --> 01:44:50,640 There you go. What Yeah, so you can read the newspaper and watch 1809 01:44:50,640 --> 01:44:54,360 right before you go to work. My question is if you have a car 1810 01:44:54,360 --> 01:44:59,040 that is driving itself, like the Jetsons. Why are you reading a 1811 01:44:59,040 --> 01:45:02,670 piece of ink on the dead tree. Why don't you have like the 1812 01:45:02,670 --> 01:45:06,330 screen like, you know, have it like really high tech, you know, 1813 01:45:06,330 --> 01:45:09,570 like, like an iPad falls out of the ceiling or something that 1814 01:45:09,600 --> 01:45:13,350 you're reading the newspaper and eating your Cheerios. You stupid 1815 01:45:13,350 --> 01:45:16,560 human resources next year when sleeping in the car. Yeah, yeah, 1816 01:45:16,560 --> 01:45:16,800 that's 1817 01:45:16,800 --> 01:45:19,350 what I'd be doing. Yeah, well, that's a spin. That's what it's 1818 01:45:19,350 --> 01:45:21,570 about be humorous. When the truck hits something and 1819 01:45:21,570 --> 01:45:26,910 everybody piles into it, that'll be another issue. Well, what 1820 01:45:26,910 --> 01:45:29,910 happens when you when somebody go when it goes past the jammer? 1821 01:45:30,390 --> 01:45:33,660 Yeah. Right. So the radio signals are jam for just a split 1822 01:45:33,660 --> 01:45:36,240 second, the cars just go scattering every which way. And 1823 01:45:36,240 --> 01:45:40,410 what happened? Yeah. So a hackable, it's ridiculous, and 1824 01:45:40,410 --> 01:45:43,770 you know, it's gonna get hacked. You just take card number three 1825 01:45:43,770 --> 01:45:47,610 and ram it into a tree. I mean, this is not practical. These 1826 01:45:47,610 --> 01:45:51,150 people are insane. wasting money stealing 1827 01:45:51,180 --> 01:45:57,420 stealing money. All right. I did want to touch briefly on that 1828 01:45:57,420 --> 01:46:01,050 alfalfa thing. Yeah, tell talk about that. Yeah, this is 1829 01:46:01,050 --> 01:46:05,400 actually it's kind of interesting. So Tom Vilsack, who 1830 01:46:05,400 --> 01:46:09,540 was a Monsanto shill, everyone knows, he been shilling for that 1831 01:46:09,540 --> 01:46:19,560 before he came into the EPA. So essentially, tomorrow, a 1832 01:46:19,590 --> 01:46:23,610 regulation will will be pushed through to allow genetically 1833 01:46:23,610 --> 01:46:27,300 engineered the all these they say in one sentence to say ge 1834 01:46:27,300 --> 01:46:29,880 the other one, they say GM. So it's genetically modified 1835 01:46:29,910 --> 01:46:35,460 genetically engineered alfalfa to be legalized in the United 1836 01:46:35,460 --> 01:46:38,970 States for use. It's like the USDA, I should say, I'm sorry. 1837 01:46:39,540 --> 01:46:44,400 So they can do like a partial allowance of it. And Vilsack of 1838 01:46:44,400 --> 01:46:48,750 course, is the Agriculture Secretary. And so apparently, 1839 01:46:48,750 --> 01:46:52,620 they had this up for public comment on some website 1840 01:46:52,620 --> 01:46:56,310 somewhere that so you could say something about it. And of 1841 01:46:56,310 --> 01:46:58,380 course, no one knew about it knew about it, but the public 1842 01:46:58,380 --> 01:47:03,030 comment period expires on Monday on on Monday. And then they're 1843 01:47:03,030 --> 01:47:05,130 just gonna go ahead and do whatever. So the problem, of 1844 01:47:05,130 --> 01:47:08,760 course, with alfalfa is that if you have if you're growing 1845 01:47:08,760 --> 01:47:12,540 alfalfa, and you're, it's the same thing with and it's all 1846 01:47:12,540 --> 01:47:15,960 Monsanto Roundup Ready stuff, by the way, and your neighbor is 1847 01:47:15,960 --> 01:47:18,690 using the Roundup Ready version, of course, you're gonna get 1848 01:47:18,690 --> 01:47:23,490 contaminated, and then you can't be an actual organic grower. So 1849 01:47:23,490 --> 01:47:25,980 there's a number of links in the show notes about this, which is 1850 01:47:25,980 --> 01:47:29,160 quite interesting. But alfalfa is kind of a magical plant. I 1851 01:47:29,160 --> 01:47:31,530 didn't know this, John, but people take this for liver 1852 01:47:31,530 --> 01:47:36,270 problems. They actually it seems to be a you know, if you if your 1853 01:47:36,270 --> 01:47:42,750 colon is unbalanced, alfalfa can help you. All kinds of amazing 1854 01:47:42,750 --> 01:47:44,490 stuff. But what do you know about alfalfa? 1855 01:47:45,000 --> 01:47:49,290 I know that they feed it to animals. You know, let me bring 1856 01:47:49,290 --> 01:47:52,530 something up. But just keep in mind, you're welcome. I'm a 1857 01:47:52,560 --> 01:47:58,350 fountain of knowledge. Yes. There has been incident after 1858 01:47:58,350 --> 01:48:02,340 incident where some poor hapless farmers got some regular crop 1859 01:48:02,340 --> 01:48:05,100 and then he's got a Monsanto crop nearby. And the next thing 1860 01:48:05,100 --> 01:48:08,610 you know, they cross pollinating and Monsanto and these other 1861 01:48:08,610 --> 01:48:12,480 companies, a number of them, sue the farmer for stealing 1862 01:48:12,480 --> 01:48:15,810 intellectual property when they grow the next year's replant it. 1863 01:48:15,810 --> 01:48:19,560 Yeah. Now, I don't understand this. And I think I could this 1864 01:48:19,560 --> 01:48:21,930 could be an ask Adam thing, but you're not going to answer the 1865 01:48:21,930 --> 01:48:25,590 question because it's just essentially unanswerable. Well, 1866 01:48:25,590 --> 01:48:29,400 it's answerable, but it's a call to action, which is why don't 1867 01:48:29,460 --> 01:48:34,950 organic farmers, Sue? Not not let get sued, but they should 1868 01:48:34,950 --> 01:48:36,510 sue Monsanto. Are you 1869 01:48:36,960 --> 01:48:41,970 kidding me? Are you are you joking? You're joking, right? 1870 01:48:42,300 --> 01:48:46,170 They should sue Monsanto for contaminating and ruining their 1871 01:48:46,170 --> 01:48:47,580 business. Who 1872 01:48:47,670 --> 01:48:51,300 who has that kind of money? You can't fight Monsanto anymore. 1873 01:48:51,300 --> 01:48:55,230 They're too big. They they've they've given money to more than 1874 01:48:55,230 --> 01:48:57,570 half of the entire hill. You can't 1875 01:48:57,990 --> 01:49:01,980 sue Monsanto for ruining their business. And when 1876 01:49:01,980 --> 01:49:05,760 people you know what a lawyer cost these days, John, this is 1877 01:49:05,760 --> 01:49:07,410 the stupidest question you've ever asked 1878 01:49:07,410 --> 01:49:10,110 me. It's not a question. It's a call to action. 1879 01:49:10,500 --> 01:49:13,530 No one's going to do it because these little organic farmers, 1880 01:49:13,560 --> 01:49:15,510 they're just like the trying to get by 1881 01:49:15,630 --> 01:49:16,680 class action. 1882 01:49:18,420 --> 01:49:20,310 Where's Erin Brockovich when you need her? 1883 01:49:21,090 --> 01:49:23,490 She's getting promotion. I don't know that. 1884 01:49:23,520 --> 01:49:26,460 That's really what you need is an Erin Erin Brockovich type 1885 01:49:26,460 --> 01:49:30,210 person but yeah, no, I don't think that's going to happen. 1886 01:49:30,570 --> 01:49:34,260 But you should but you can still try and write in to the food 1887 01:49:34,260 --> 01:49:35,490 democracy now. I think 1888 01:49:36,240 --> 01:49:38,730 there's a make that these people are all stooges for the hair 1889 01:49:38,730 --> 01:49:44,100 these companies just gone down is actually pathetic. You know, 1890 01:49:44,100 --> 01:49:46,890 I had a clip here that I forgot we should have played before the 1891 01:49:46,890 --> 01:49:52,140 donation break, but I want to play it anyway. Unless you got 1892 01:49:52,140 --> 01:49:54,090 more to say about alfalfa. That's all I know. No, no, 1893 01:49:54,090 --> 01:49:56,970 that's all I got. But it's it seems to be something very 1894 01:49:56,970 --> 01:49:59,940 magical for you, and you can feed it to livestock 1895 01:50:01,410 --> 01:50:05,340 Yeah, and it's healthy is good. So I ran into this little thing 1896 01:50:05,340 --> 01:50:08,160 from our national treasure or one of them anyway, the news 1897 01:50:08,160 --> 01:50:11,190 hour. No, that's not the news is this show, I think Washington 1898 01:50:11,190 --> 01:50:13,290 Weekend Review or something like that. We're Glen Eiffel, the 1899 01:50:13,290 --> 01:50:17,910 woman who wrote the book praising Obama, and she was also 1900 01:50:17,910 --> 01:50:21,180 the head of one of the debates, and had to go and Jin's talk 1901 01:50:21,180 --> 01:50:23,550 about how she wrote a book about Oh, 1902 01:50:23,550 --> 01:50:26,760 right. This Yeah, I remember she was she was a moderating the 1903 01:50:26,760 --> 01:50:29,700 debate and it was a controversy because she, 1904 01:50:29,880 --> 01:50:34,080 she's, she's a fan. So she, she's gonna, you know, so we're 1905 01:50:34,080 --> 01:50:38,130 not gonna get any objectivity from her. But I ran into this, 1906 01:50:38,250 --> 01:50:41,730 this, this reuse of language that I just thought was 1907 01:50:41,730 --> 01:50:44,880 fascinating, because what she's done here, and I don't know 1908 01:50:44,880 --> 01:50:47,340 whether I mean this, she's a teleprompter, she's a talking 1909 01:50:47,340 --> 01:50:49,590 head. So this was gotta had to be on the prompter. And she had 1910 01:50:49,590 --> 01:50:52,380 her and I think she's one of those that writes her own copy. 1911 01:50:52,650 --> 01:50:57,570 This is really a very twisted way of discussing the recent 1912 01:50:57,900 --> 01:51:02,250 debate in Congress about repealing Obamacare. 1913 01:51:03,720 --> 01:51:07,290 Oh, can I do it? Yeah, do the meanwhile, on the House side. 1914 01:51:07,290 --> 01:51:10,440 They voted to repeal health care this week, which doesn't mean 1915 01:51:10,440 --> 01:51:13,290 health care will be repealed. And Republicans said the law 1916 01:51:13,290 --> 01:51:16,650 will kill jobs. But Democrats said it won't. In other words, 1917 01:51:16,740 --> 01:51:19,290 it was a debate that took us through the political looking 1918 01:51:19,290 --> 01:51:20,460 glass again. 1919 01:51:21,720 --> 01:51:26,160 Right. So so I'm listening to this. I'm going what? This is 1920 01:51:26,160 --> 01:51:30,030 not repealing health care. It's repealing the health care bill. 1921 01:51:30,300 --> 01:51:34,500 She's she's actually saying repealing health care, right 1922 01:51:34,500 --> 01:51:38,550 health care as if there's going to be no more health care 1923 01:51:38,550 --> 01:51:42,330 because of those evil Republicans. I just thought this 1924 01:51:42,330 --> 01:51:47,250 was the most twisted, subtle piece of crap I've heard for 1925 01:51:47,280 --> 01:51:48,300 weeks on and it's 1926 01:51:48,300 --> 01:51:51,570 very interesting. Let me listen to that again. just reset it 1927 01:51:51,570 --> 01:51:51,930 here. 1928 01:51:53,430 --> 01:51:56,850 Okay, thank you. The Meanwhile, on the House side, they voted to 1929 01:51:56,850 --> 01:51:59,670 repeal health care this week, which doesn't mean health care 1930 01:51:59,670 --> 01:52:02,310 will be repealed. And Republicans said the law will 1931 01:52:02,310 --> 01:52:05,970 kill jobs, but Democrats said it won't. In other words, it was a 1932 01:52:05,970 --> 01:52:09,210 debate that took us through the political looking glass again, 1933 01:52:09,240 --> 01:52:12,480 and I don't know if she's doing it purposely or if it's just 1934 01:52:12,480 --> 01:52:16,230 gotten to this point where it's so crappy in the in the 1935 01:52:16,230 --> 01:52:19,770 mainstream media that this is just what it is. I think I 1936 01:52:19,770 --> 01:52:21,150 caught one similar to that 1937 01:52:21,180 --> 01:52:22,140 sloppy, 1938 01:52:22,200 --> 01:52:23,190 what is salt? 1939 01:52:24,570 --> 01:52:25,560 Sodium chloride, 1940 01:52:25,590 --> 01:52:28,770 sodium chloride, right? It's it's not sodium, it's sodium 1941 01:52:28,770 --> 01:52:29,580 chloride. 1942 01:52:29,760 --> 01:52:33,570 Right? It's it's in fact, it is a salt of sodium, sodium, pure 1943 01:52:33,570 --> 01:52:37,980 sodium is explosive. If you actually ate sodium. Literally, 1944 01:52:38,100 --> 01:52:41,400 you would explode your stomach would blow I mean, you'd 1945 01:52:41,400 --> 01:52:44,730 literally would have an explosion when you like a movie. 1946 01:52:44,760 --> 01:52:45,300 Well, this is 1947 01:52:45,300 --> 01:52:49,470 very interesting. So first lady, Michelle Obama, in her own 1948 01:52:49,470 --> 01:52:54,270 fascist way has now connected the government to Walmart. As 1949 01:52:54,270 --> 01:52:58,020 she came out joining forces with Walmart for healthy food 1950 01:52:58,020 --> 01:53:00,840 campaign. It couldn't it couldn't be with all retailers. 1951 01:53:00,840 --> 01:53:01,860 It's only Walmart. 1952 01:53:01,889 --> 01:53:05,639 I want to stop you right there. We have there's something going 1953 01:53:05,639 --> 01:53:09,299 on with Walmart has been too much publicity. Yep. There, we 1954 01:53:09,299 --> 01:53:12,569 have to get behind. We were gonna have to put in listeners 1955 01:53:12,569 --> 01:53:15,329 out there. We're gonna look into the public relations firms that 1956 01:53:15,329 --> 01:53:18,749 are been doing Walmart, I am convinced they have a new firm 1957 01:53:18,779 --> 01:53:23,099 of late and they're pushing this Walmart Walmart, Walmart is good 1958 01:53:23,099 --> 01:53:23,339 for 1959 01:53:23,340 --> 01:53:27,630 you. Well, here's what I have to ask you. Because both Walmart 1960 01:53:27,630 --> 01:53:31,530 and Domino's Pizza, who will be who have a new program, the 1961 01:53:31,530 --> 01:53:36,570 smart slice, for a school pizzas, all talk about reducing 1962 01:53:36,570 --> 01:53:42,060 sodium by 35%. So you're telling me that we actually put sodium 1963 01:53:42,090 --> 01:53:45,240 in the food not sodium chloride, but sodium, it says here, 1964 01:53:45,270 --> 01:53:48,540 sodium, you're saying that we would explode if we ate actual 1965 01:53:48,540 --> 01:53:51,810 sodium. Maybe there is actual sodium in the food, maybe it's 1966 01:53:51,810 --> 01:53:56,700 not sodium. So I'm looking at the packaging for sodium salt. 1967 01:53:56,760 --> 01:54:02,430 It says sodium. So it's mislabeling at best. It says on 1968 01:54:02,430 --> 01:54:05,160 the label. I'm looking at the Walmart site right now. And it 1969 01:54:05,160 --> 01:54:10,110 says we're reducing sodium by 25%. So but they can't, but they 1970 01:54:10,110 --> 01:54:13,050 shouldn't be putting sodium in the food. Shouldn't they say 1971 01:54:13,050 --> 01:54:15,120 salt or sodium chloride? 1972 01:54:16,530 --> 01:54:20,430 Well, they Yeah, they should. And I don't know why it's always 1973 01:54:20,460 --> 01:54:23,010 deteriorate the just plain sodium. 1974 01:54:23,040 --> 01:54:26,430 I mean, it's the reverse of corn sugar. I think it's very 1975 01:54:26,430 --> 01:54:29,280 dangerous when you don't use the if you're using either you say 1976 01:54:29,280 --> 01:54:32,610 salt, which everyone understands salt, you have to reduce salt, 1977 01:54:32,610 --> 01:54:36,360 okay. But it's literally says sodium and sugar will be 1978 01:54:36,360 --> 01:54:39,210 reduced. And please tell me you're not putting sodium in our 1979 01:54:39,210 --> 01:54:41,970 food. But I think they might be. 1980 01:54:42,240 --> 01:54:47,250 No, they're not to explode that food. The oven would blow up the 1981 01:54:47,250 --> 01:54:50,100 labeling. And we used to do this in school in the in the olden 1982 01:54:50,100 --> 01:54:53,130 days when we actually had real chemistry classes and the kids 1983 01:54:53,130 --> 01:54:55,020 could actually get a hold of this stuff. He can't do it 1984 01:54:55,020 --> 01:54:58,050 anymore, because now we just run around smiling and don't We 1985 01:54:58,050 --> 01:55:01,470 don't really have classes but you He used to have there used 1986 01:55:01,470 --> 01:55:04,710 to be always some joker who would steal a chunk of sodium 1987 01:55:04,710 --> 01:55:08,190 from the lab from this from the high school chemistry lab. And 1988 01:55:08,190 --> 01:55:12,960 He only takes a piece about the size of your thumbnail but you 1989 01:55:12,960 --> 01:55:15,450 know a little block of it little piece of it like that, but that 1990 01:55:15,450 --> 01:55:18,450 size, and you go into the bathroom and you throw it down 1991 01:55:18,450 --> 01:55:21,060 the toilet and flush the toilet right fashion again. And it 1992 01:55:21,060 --> 01:55:24,120 would usually blow up the entire school. I mean that the school 1993 01:55:24,120 --> 01:55:25,410 but they would blow up the pipes. 1994 01:55:25,440 --> 01:55:29,850 I'm looking at Walmart stores.com/press room, this is 1995 01:55:29,850 --> 01:55:33,480 the corporate site. And they say they're going to reduce sodium 1996 01:55:33,480 --> 01:55:40,140 by 25%. Sodium, not sodium chloride, not salt, sodium, and 1997 01:55:40,140 --> 01:55:43,440 I think sodium, it may explode stuff, but don't they use that 1998 01:55:43,440 --> 01:55:46,560 as a preservative, just as I'm telling you, they're putting 1999 01:55:46,560 --> 01:55:49,290 sodium in our food, and now they're joking and laughing at 2000 01:55:49,290 --> 01:55:52,440 us. Why don't they say sodium chloride 2001 01:55:52,440 --> 01:55:55,740 or salt, or whatever other sodium compounds you're talking 2002 01:55:55,740 --> 01:55:56,820 about could be something 2003 01:55:56,820 --> 01:55:59,400 else. I totally agree. But if it's pure sodium, this is what I 2004 01:55:59,400 --> 01:56:03,120 thought thank you for confirming my fear is that this is just 2005 01:56:03,120 --> 01:56:03,660 sodium. 2006 01:56:04,680 --> 01:56:08,190 It's not there, mislabeling it. And if it's the same thing like 2007 01:56:08,220 --> 01:56:11,580 you're right, it's exactly where they're going to switch sugar. 2008 01:56:11,730 --> 01:56:13,980 You know, you we saw that we see the progression, we know what it 2009 01:56:13,980 --> 01:56:19,410 is, you know, we go from high fructose corn syrup to corn 2010 01:56:19,410 --> 01:56:22,050 sugar, they rename it because you know, people are getting 2011 01:56:22,050 --> 01:56:24,780 upset about the other stuff. And then they're going to rename it 2012 01:56:24,780 --> 01:56:27,180 again to sugar plain sugar when it's not. And 2013 01:56:27,210 --> 01:56:30,810 the slaves in the chat room are literally saying, that's enough. 2014 01:56:30,810 --> 01:56:34,290 Move on at me. No, you have to understand words matter because 2015 01:56:34,290 --> 01:56:37,110 this is exactly what's happening. corn sugar will 2016 01:56:37,110 --> 01:56:40,830 become sugar and it will be labeled as such. And now sodium 2017 01:56:40,830 --> 01:56:45,180 chloride NaCl, which is salt, which I believe is what they're 2018 01:56:45,420 --> 01:56:49,830 telling us. They're going to reduce. It's labeled as sodium 2019 01:56:50,520 --> 01:56:53,910 is mislabeling at best, and I think it's important. I really 2020 01:56:53,910 --> 01:56:54,270 do. 2021 01:56:54,870 --> 01:56:58,590 Apparently, you don't think so? No, I think it's important. I'm 2022 01:56:58,590 --> 01:57:01,320 not I'm not yelling and screaming about it. But yeah, 2023 01:57:02,160 --> 01:57:04,260 it's become one of those things. It's the same thing that the 2024 01:57:04,260 --> 01:57:08,400 sugar thing is going to happen to that too. So 2025 01:57:08,969 --> 01:57:11,609 all right. Oh, you stupid slaves. Go eat your freakin 2026 01:57:11,609 --> 01:57:15,779 sodium. Enjoy it. And see if you're mad at the chat room. 2027 01:57:15,809 --> 01:57:18,899 Yes, because I gotta go. I gotta quit. I get mad at the chat room 2028 01:57:18,899 --> 01:57:21,239 because there they are. sheeple. 2029 01:57:21,690 --> 01:57:29,730 They are Jerry Springer bumper plate real quick. He's only a 2030 01:57:29,730 --> 01:57:37,260 one. I'm not no lesbian. Jerry Springer. Okay, that's enough. 2031 01:57:38,340 --> 01:57:43,560 I had to be ready for that one. I'm not no lesbian. All right, 2032 01:57:43,560 --> 01:57:46,440 one of our producers came in with a really good one as we'll 2033 01:57:46,440 --> 01:57:49,440 be talking about. And actually I think I have an end. It could be 2034 01:57:49,440 --> 01:57:51,780 an end of show clip or we could listen to a little piece of it 2035 01:57:51,780 --> 01:57:58,830 now which is probably better from from on the media. And on 2036 01:57:58,830 --> 01:58:04,560 the media is from our from our national treasure here in the 2037 01:58:04,590 --> 01:58:08,550 these Gitmo nation states. And they talked about this. There's 2038 01:58:08,550 --> 01:58:10,980 like a seven minute piece of which we will not play all seven 2039 01:58:10,980 --> 01:58:16,080 minutes about the color revolution in Tunisia, which the 2040 01:58:16,080 --> 01:58:19,500 now literally calling the Twitter revolution as predicted 2041 01:58:19,500 --> 01:58:20,640 on this very program. Oh, 2042 01:58:20,640 --> 01:58:24,150 yeah, we gotta saw this coming to my holy in New York. This is 2043 01:58:24,180 --> 01:58:26,550 on the media. I'm Bob Garfield. 2044 01:58:26,580 --> 01:58:30,330 And I'm Brooke Gladstone. This is what popular uprising looks 2045 01:58:30,330 --> 01:58:30,750 like. 2046 01:58:31,920 --> 01:58:35,610 protests over corruption and unemployment was sparked after a 2047 01:58:35,610 --> 01:58:37,890 man set himself on fire. You might remember 2048 01:58:37,890 --> 01:58:40,920 the song from the 1970s that said the revolution will not be 2049 01:58:40,920 --> 01:58:44,250 televised. More modern lyrics might read The revolution will 2050 01:58:44,250 --> 01:58:44,880 be tweeted 2051 01:58:45,000 --> 01:58:48,270 amid the protests in Tunisia. There's been much talk about the 2052 01:58:48,270 --> 01:58:52,140 activity of Tunisians online and the role that new media are 2053 01:58:52,140 --> 01:58:53,430 playing in the uprising. 2054 01:58:53,460 --> 01:58:57,630 Now, let me just restate that what we discussed, I think 2055 01:58:57,630 --> 01:59:02,070 Thursday, is that the compromised social networking 2056 01:59:02,070 --> 01:59:06,720 site Facebook, at least Twitter, I'm not sure about but Facebook, 2057 01:59:06,810 --> 01:59:10,110 certainly with their CIA investments from in Q tel, 2058 01:59:10,380 --> 01:59:14,460 amongst others. And if you read the Time magazine piece on Mark 2059 01:59:14,460 --> 01:59:17,820 Zuckerberg Person of the Year, where the director of the FBI is 2060 01:59:17,820 --> 01:59:20,880 just walking around the office, it's just it's right in the 2061 01:59:20,880 --> 01:59:22,470 article like in your face. 2062 01:59:22,530 --> 01:59:25,410 And of course, I want to mention one more thing. Just to add to 2063 01:59:25,410 --> 01:59:29,250 that we you know, as one of our producers pointed out, the one 2064 01:59:29,250 --> 01:59:32,070 of the early founders of Facebook was pushed out and the 2065 01:59:32,070 --> 01:59:38,520 guy who was moved in is a the ex Pay Pal Pierre tile is actually 2066 01:59:38,520 --> 01:59:40,860 one of the members of The Bilderbergers. Right. 2067 01:59:42,360 --> 01:59:45,840 So we've got The Bilderbergers who of course, John thinks is 2068 01:59:45,840 --> 01:59:48,480 just a drinking club, except when it comes to this story. I 2069 01:59:48,480 --> 01:59:49,740 was on board with it, which 2070 01:59:50,460 --> 01:59:53,400 makes the I like to say I'm selective, which is very 2071 01:59:53,400 --> 01:59:53,880 selective 2072 01:59:53,880 --> 01:59:58,110 with the Bilderbergs. They have an agenda and the agenda is well 2073 01:59:58,110 --> 02:00:01,470 I think it's generally to stir unrest And this, this seven 2074 02:00:01,470 --> 02:00:04,020 minute piece on our national treasure just blew me away. 2075 02:00:04,140 --> 02:00:06,870 Some have called it a WikiLeaks revolution. 2076 02:00:07,440 --> 02:00:09,960 Everything we talked about is in here. It's the WikiLeaks 2077 02:00:09,960 --> 02:00:13,380 revolution. It's the Twitter revolution. And listen to what 2078 02:00:13,380 --> 02:00:15,570 they say about Facebook. It's about a minute attributing 2079 02:00:15,570 --> 02:00:18,900 the unrest to leaked diplomatic cables about corruption in the 2080 02:00:18,900 --> 02:00:20,040 Tunisian Government. 2081 02:00:20,310 --> 02:00:21,510 So did you know that? 2082 02:00:21,900 --> 02:00:24,240 Yeah, coincidence? I think not. This 2083 02:00:24,240 --> 02:00:27,660 is happening everywhere. Every country is selectively receiving 2084 02:00:27,660 --> 02:00:31,800 cables, the Netherlands have it. They've got their cables about 2085 02:00:31,800 --> 02:00:36,690 shell and shell is horrible. And the slave drivers is so 2086 02:00:36,690 --> 02:00:40,680 intelligent. It's the way it is completely intelligence driven. 2087 02:00:40,680 --> 02:00:44,670 And, and people are falling forward hook, line and sinker. 2088 02:00:44,730 --> 02:00:49,140 Or there's suddenly a Twitter revolutionary social media 2089 02:00:49,140 --> 02:00:52,260 activity surrounding the protests. But political 2090 02:00:52,260 --> 02:00:55,500 scientists and foreign policy blogger Mark Lynch has 2091 02:00:55,500 --> 02:00:58,890 assiduously studied the AeroPress and says it's not so 2092 02:00:58,890 --> 02:00:59,460 simple. 2093 02:00:59,490 --> 02:01:03,660 Now listen, because now they actually so take into account 2094 02:01:03,660 --> 02:01:08,940 that John, I pretty much convinced that WikiLeaks and is 2095 02:01:08,940 --> 02:01:12,480 a CIA op, or an intelligence operation, to listen to the 2096 02:01:12,480 --> 02:01:15,570 flow, listen to how it works, and how they get the people 2097 02:01:15,570 --> 02:01:19,650 involved in this to disrupt entire governments. And of 2098 02:01:19,650 --> 02:01:22,860 course, it's the economic hitman who benefit from this. And that 2099 02:01:22,860 --> 02:01:26,790 would be in many cases, our own intelligence forces. 2100 02:01:26,850 --> 02:01:31,110 He says the internet, social media and Al Jazeera have 2101 02:01:31,110 --> 02:01:34,650 collectively transformed the information environment in the 2102 02:01:34,650 --> 02:01:36,780 Arab world. Welcome back, Mark. 2103 02:01:36,840 --> 02:01:37,710 Thanks for having me. 2104 02:01:38,010 --> 02:01:41,460 So you've been following the evolving Arab media landscape 2105 02:01:41,460 --> 02:01:45,390 for the last decade? What's the big change in that time? 2106 02:01:45,660 --> 02:01:48,270 Well, there have been two big changes. One, of course, was the 2107 02:01:48,270 --> 02:01:52,770 rise of Al Jazeera and satellite television that had the effect 2108 02:01:52,770 --> 02:01:55,980 of really making it very difficult for Arab governments 2109 02:01:56,010 --> 02:01:59,550 to control the flow of information. And the next big 2110 02:01:59,550 --> 02:02:03,570 change has been the rise of mass participation in social media, 2111 02:02:03,990 --> 02:02:08,010 which has really increased the ability of individual citizens 2112 02:02:08,040 --> 02:02:12,540 to circumvent all efforts to control the media. A remarkable 2113 02:02:12,540 --> 02:02:15,810 portion of the Tunisian population is on Facebook, for 2114 02:02:15,810 --> 02:02:16,710 instance, yeah, 2115 02:02:17,160 --> 02:02:20,640 there you go. A remarkable segment of the Tunisian 2116 02:02:20,640 --> 02:02:23,580 population is on Facebook. And they talked about Twitter, this 2117 02:02:23,580 --> 02:02:26,460 Twitter that but when it comes down to the to the tax, it's 2118 02:02:26,670 --> 02:02:31,740 Facebook. So this is how it works. We get WikiLeaks to 2119 02:02:31,740 --> 02:02:35,130 release some outrageous information about the regime, we 2120 02:02:35,130 --> 02:02:35,850 want to 2121 02:02:35,880 --> 02:02:39,510 overthrow a sorry, this is a new model. And it's you 2122 02:02:39,630 --> 02:02:44,010 know, it's a new model, but it's great. I mean, it used to be if 2123 02:02:44,010 --> 02:02:46,200 you read The Confessions of an economic hitman, and you 2124 02:02:46,200 --> 02:02:48,720 understand the way it used to work, but now the first thing 2125 02:02:48,720 --> 02:02:51,960 you get the WikiLeaks, Wikileaks has something really disparaging 2126 02:02:52,350 --> 02:02:54,810 whatever it is something that we all have 2127 02:02:54,810 --> 02:02:57,720 in the in the wings, we have backups for WikiLeaks, if 2128 02:02:57,720 --> 02:03:00,750 WikiLeaks tends to go down for some whatever reason they got 2129 02:03:00,750 --> 02:03:03,480 shut down or worse. So there's a bunch of these follow up to get 2130 02:03:03,480 --> 02:03:06,600 couple guys are already started a new thing. And WikiLeaks goes 2131 02:03:06,600 --> 02:03:09,960 that this show this model is basically the leaking model is 2132 02:03:09,960 --> 02:03:14,040 is part of the is a new element within the economic hitmen model 2133 02:03:14,040 --> 02:03:16,320 which is fascinating to me. 2134 02:03:16,889 --> 02:03:21,599 What I find fascinating is more articles this Tunisia, which and 2135 02:03:21,599 --> 02:03:26,519 by the way, it's the Jasmine revolution. Jasmine, is that not 2136 02:03:26,519 --> 02:03:28,829 a reference to Chinese tea? 2137 02:03:30,030 --> 02:03:33,180 Well, it's a restaurant. It's a flower, right? But as as used to 2138 02:03:33,180 --> 02:03:34,020 flavor tea, 2139 02:03:34,050 --> 02:03:36,570 right? I thought that the Chinese drank a lot of jasmine 2140 02:03:36,570 --> 02:03:36,930 tea. 2141 02:03:37,559 --> 02:03:39,659 You know, they don't really drink I'm far as I know, I'm 2142 02:03:39,659 --> 02:03:42,659 I've been to China a number of times in Montana, I do have you 2143 02:03:42,659 --> 02:03:45,299 have jasmine tea, they do drink a lot of jasmine tea, but it's 2144 02:03:45,299 --> 02:03:48,089 not like I don't think I don't associate that I'm not 2145 02:03:48,089 --> 02:03:49,499 associated with that. Interestingly, 2146 02:03:49,500 --> 02:03:52,290 the article I read the success of Tunisia is Jasmine 2147 02:03:52,290 --> 02:03:55,440 revolution. The first of its kind in an Arab country has 2148 02:03:55,440 --> 02:03:59,130 caught the world's attention. Chinese are watching closely to 2149 02:03:59,370 --> 02:04:02,400 internet users and Chinese commentators say the dramatic 2150 02:04:02,400 --> 02:04:05,220 events in Tunisia are an inspiration for the Chinese 2151 02:04:05,220 --> 02:04:08,430 people. Of course, the Chinese now I was in the supermarket 2152 02:04:08,430 --> 02:04:12,060 yesterday. And I see that China's got their own Facebook. 2153 02:04:12,120 --> 02:04:15,420 This is why China didn't want didn't want Google and Facebook 2154 02:04:15,420 --> 02:04:18,000 and all these guys in there because they need their own. 2155 02:04:18,120 --> 02:04:22,560 Well, they know what's going on. We're not the only two guys in 2156 02:04:22,560 --> 02:04:25,080 the world that can deconstruct and figure out what's going on 2157 02:04:25,080 --> 02:04:27,480 be amazed. You would be amazed. 2158 02:04:27,540 --> 02:04:31,320 No, I'm amazed at you. But I'm also amazed by how many people 2159 02:04:31,350 --> 02:04:35,670 get picked up on our ability to do this. And they have they do 2160 02:04:35,670 --> 02:04:38,010 it themselves. And they come up we get a lot of letters from 2161 02:04:38,010 --> 02:04:41,760 people with with insights that we just miss. Absolutely, 2162 02:04:41,790 --> 02:04:44,400 like the Peter Thiel connection 2163 02:04:45,240 --> 02:04:46,320 right to the Bilderbergs 2164 02:04:47,790 --> 02:04:52,440 So next on the list, I think Yemen they're now in a Facebook 2165 02:04:52,440 --> 02:04:53,280 or revolution. 2166 02:04:54,120 --> 02:04:57,150 I don't even know that. That much of the public could do this 2167 02:04:57,150 --> 02:04:59,100 on their cell phones or something because 2168 02:04:59,130 --> 02:05:02,100 it but face to face Look it's a big it's a big mobile thing. 2169 02:05:02,100 --> 02:05:04,680 It's not just on on the computer all these kids are on the on 2170 02:05:04,680 --> 02:05:06,930 their iPhones and stuff. That's how you that's how they do it. 2171 02:05:07,680 --> 02:05:11,250 It's on the phones. Of course it is. And China totally. Oh, by 2172 02:05:11,250 --> 02:05:15,090 the way, the new meme running around on Twitter and Facebook 2173 02:05:15,090 --> 02:05:22,950 about Tunisia is that 1.5 tons of gold is missing. withdrawn by 2174 02:05:23,820 --> 02:05:31,890 Xen l Aberdeen. BenAli he took her 1.5 tons of gold out. Yeah, 2175 02:05:32,010 --> 02:05:36,000 ton 1.5 in his rucksack, apparently. 2176 02:05:36,210 --> 02:05:38,820 How do you get 1.5 tonnes? 2177 02:05:39,060 --> 02:05:41,610 I don't know. I thought it was great, 2178 02:05:41,640 --> 02:05:45,600 like 3000 pounds of gold? Well, but at the 2179 02:05:45,600 --> 02:05:46,440 same time, 2180 02:05:47,490 --> 02:05:48,660 what does that go for? 2181 02:05:48,929 --> 02:05:52,859 The Dutch National Bank was asked for an audit of their 2182 02:05:52,859 --> 02:05:59,009 gold. And the Dutch bank said no, no, we 2183 02:05:59,550 --> 02:06:02,550 discussed this about two years ago. There's a big fear now to 2184 02:06:02,550 --> 02:06:04,410 that have to go out there. It's it's gone 2185 02:06:04,500 --> 02:06:07,290 at Thomson it hasn't gotten to the tungsten reference in there. 2186 02:06:07,590 --> 02:06:13,890 Yeah, interestingly, Financial Times had an article late last 2187 02:06:13,890 --> 02:06:18,330 week called brace for a perfect storm in gold. There are changes 2188 02:06:18,360 --> 02:06:21,570 afoot, always nice to have a foot reference in there. After a 2189 02:06:21,570 --> 02:06:25,500 lengthy absence, some asset managers and central bankers are 2190 02:06:25,500 --> 02:06:29,790 readmitting gold back into the group of prudent asset classes. 2191 02:06:30,870 --> 02:06:33,150 Assessing the devastation of financial industry and 2192 02:06:33,150 --> 02:06:36,000 government balance sheets fiduciary has have been reminded 2193 02:06:36,000 --> 02:06:38,940 that one of the principal reasons to hold gold, that is 2194 02:06:38,940 --> 02:06:41,610 the only major financial asset that does not represent someone 2195 02:06:41,640 --> 02:06:45,660 else's obligation to repay is not the arcane concept it once 2196 02:06:45,690 --> 02:06:49,980 appeared. And that's the Financial Times. It says bear 2197 02:06:49,980 --> 02:06:55,080 very interesting said he who holds no gold. 2198 02:06:55,650 --> 02:06:58,530 I just wonder what this all meant with this, that that is 2199 02:06:58,560 --> 02:07:01,950 meaningful, probably because, you know, generally speaking at 2200 02:07:01,950 --> 02:07:06,690 the end of a run up, you want to get the people involved. So they 2201 02:07:06,690 --> 02:07:10,380 ended up holding the bag when the whole thing falls apart. So 2202 02:07:10,380 --> 02:07:13,800 he always tried to get the general public. I mean, that's 2203 02:07:13,860 --> 02:07:18,420 the eventual suckers in any financial game is always has to 2204 02:07:18,420 --> 02:07:21,450 be the general public, it can't be the guys who set these deals 2205 02:07:21,450 --> 02:07:24,570 up. So when you start seeing stuff like that, I'm wondering 2206 02:07:24,570 --> 02:07:26,430 whether that means as the end of the run, 2207 02:07:27,000 --> 02:07:30,450 could be, could be, or just the beginning. 2208 02:07:31,019 --> 02:07:33,779 It wouldn't be the big, it was the beginning of the run, is 2209 02:07:33,809 --> 02:07:36,629 there gonna get the public really involved. But I think 2210 02:07:36,629 --> 02:07:40,259 that's, I think, more likely to be the end because you get 2211 02:07:40,499 --> 02:07:43,259 because the Republic creates, the great thing about the public 2212 02:07:43,259 --> 02:07:46,229 is it's a massive group, if you could sucker them into getting 2213 02:07:46,229 --> 02:07:49,499 on board on something, they create such a demand for it, 2214 02:07:49,679 --> 02:07:53,699 that that gives you the the opportunity to dump, like heavy 2215 02:07:53,699 --> 02:07:56,429 duty dumping, you can't normally just like in any market, you 2216 02:07:56,429 --> 02:07:58,529 can't just just dump everything under the market, like the 2217 02:07:58,529 --> 02:08:00,689 Chinese can't dump all the treasury bonds because it was 2218 02:08:00,959 --> 02:08:03,239 they won't get their money back because it sinks the market 2219 02:08:03,239 --> 02:08:04,649 before they get rid of all of it. 2220 02:08:04,679 --> 02:08:07,169 I don't think there's I think they're buying more. And in 2221 02:08:07,169 --> 02:08:10,079 fact, there's rumors they're buying more through shell 2222 02:08:10,079 --> 02:08:11,459 companies in the UK. 2223 02:08:11,549 --> 02:08:14,369 Yeah, it could be but that could also be a propaganda that could 2224 02:08:14,369 --> 02:08:17,099 be public relations. They might be buying anything they might be 2225 02:08:17,099 --> 02:08:21,089 selling for all you really no, you don't really know. So I just 2226 02:08:21,089 --> 02:08:23,429 wonder when I see stuff like this, whether it's the end or 2227 02:08:23,429 --> 02:08:26,819 the beginning, I'm guessing. I don't know what I'm guessing. 2228 02:08:26,819 --> 02:08:27,569 I'm guessing the end. 2229 02:08:27,600 --> 02:08:32,280 So what you're saying is, we're screwed. We're screwed anyway. 2230 02:08:32,280 --> 02:08:34,290 And we don't know nothing. Well, 2231 02:08:35,190 --> 02:08:38,580 that's pretty close. Yeah, we don't know. We're screwed. And 2232 02:08:38,580 --> 02:08:41,760 we know that this something's fake about this. Hey, carwash, 2233 02:08:41,760 --> 02:08:42,300 Johnny. 2234 02:08:42,330 --> 02:08:43,320 What do you know, man? 2235 02:08:44,129 --> 02:08:47,699 Johnny probably has a better handle on it. But the it seems 2236 02:08:47,699 --> 02:08:51,299 to me Yeah. I think that Tunisia thing is a test of the I mean, 2237 02:08:51,299 --> 02:08:54,629 they've I think they tested in Iran with the Green Revolution. 2238 02:08:54,659 --> 02:08:58,319 Yeah, that was not not a big win. And they lost and they so 2239 02:08:58,319 --> 02:09:01,289 they so there's elements that are missing. They they're trying 2240 02:09:01,289 --> 02:09:06,749 to fine tune this, they being the whoever the economic hitmen 2241 02:09:06,749 --> 02:09:08,399 the shadow government, or whatever we want to call them. I 2242 02:09:08,399 --> 02:09:13,139 mean, we don't know who they are necessarily. But the people that 2243 02:09:13,139 --> 02:09:16,859 are doing this is who we say they are testing it so that we 2244 02:09:16,889 --> 02:09:19,619 so now they have the model. So you have the Twitter or you have 2245 02:09:19,619 --> 02:09:22,859 a Facebook, it's a little mishmash, it seems to me, I 2246 02:09:22,859 --> 02:09:25,769 don't think you need all these things mixed up like that. And 2247 02:09:25,769 --> 02:09:28,079 you have the color yet to have a representative and I've watched 2248 02:09:28,079 --> 02:09:31,919 the the Tunisian protests and they have these flags that are 2249 02:09:31,919 --> 02:09:35,489 very well a producer, Jasmine, and they're Jasmine, and they're 2250 02:09:35,489 --> 02:09:40,109 very and everything is it's too slick. For a Popular Movement is 2251 02:09:40,109 --> 02:09:41,189 not like a bunch of people 2252 02:09:41,220 --> 02:09:43,800 know it's real. It's beautiful. It's beautifully done in a 2253 02:09:43,800 --> 02:09:45,690 propaganda. Absolutely. Yeah, it's 2254 02:09:45,690 --> 02:09:48,690 very slick. It's not like highly priority meetings where people 2255 02:09:48,690 --> 02:09:51,510 make their own signs and it's obviously policed. You can't 2256 02:09:51,510 --> 02:09:52,380 have that sign. 2257 02:09:53,400 --> 02:09:55,740 Here, take this one, have this good sign. 2258 02:09:55,920 --> 02:09:59,370 This sign is better sign is much better. And we're getting the 2259 02:09:59,370 --> 02:10:01,860 kind of play And the media that they're looking for, and they 2260 02:10:01,860 --> 02:10:05,550 have the memes of corruption and whatever it is, it's it'll be 2261 02:10:05,550 --> 02:10:06,720 interesting to see how this one works out. 2262 02:10:06,720 --> 02:10:09,990 Well. Let's call the next country in the next color. 2263 02:10:11,309 --> 02:10:13,439 Well, the colors are going to be tough to call but we've already 2264 02:10:13,439 --> 02:10:18,749 seen we've already used up blue. And we've used up green. And 2265 02:10:18,749 --> 02:10:20,129 this weird gibbon. 2266 02:10:20,880 --> 02:10:24,900 It has to have, it has to have a nice sounding like the fuchsia. 2267 02:10:24,930 --> 02:10:27,930 We haven't had a fuchsia revolution show. Fuchsia, 2268 02:10:28,320 --> 02:10:34,740 because it can't just be blue. It has to be mob. The mob now 2269 02:10:34,770 --> 02:10:37,890 that doesn't sound good, the mov Reverend None. What are the 2270 02:10:38,520 --> 02:10:40,950 teal, the teal revolution that might work Peter 2271 02:10:41,190 --> 02:10:43,710 teal because it also didn't have a duck duck as a tea a lot of 2272 02:10:43,710 --> 02:10:44,640 TEALS or ducks. 2273 02:10:44,700 --> 02:10:46,980 Tea will be good because of Peter Thiel. 2274 02:10:48,210 --> 02:10:51,660 And you got Peter Thiel. So we have a teal revolution. I liked 2275 02:10:51,660 --> 02:10:55,080 it to read let's predict to revolution coming somewhere. Do 2276 02:10:55,080 --> 02:10:56,250 a little bit. Let's 2277 02:10:56,250 --> 02:10:59,520 also keep fuchsia on the books. While you're keeping. I'm 2278 02:10:59,520 --> 02:11:02,760 skeptical about fuchsia. Fuchsia seems a little it sounds like 2279 02:11:02,760 --> 02:11:04,440 something that would happen in the Castro District in San 2280 02:11:04,440 --> 02:11:04,980 Francisco. 2281 02:11:04,980 --> 02:11:07,200 How about Jasmine? Dude, give me a break. Yeah, 2282 02:11:07,200 --> 02:11:09,780 Jasmine is pretty bad. I think that's a mistake. 2283 02:11:10,380 --> 02:11:12,900 It's working, though. The guy's out. 2284 02:11:13,110 --> 02:11:16,710 And if there been any threes associated with the I thought 2285 02:11:16,710 --> 02:11:20,160 about the three thing we talked about before. Yeah, I've decided 2286 02:11:20,160 --> 02:11:22,890 because I have a clip which I'll put on one of the shows in the 2287 02:11:22,920 --> 02:11:26,160 upcoming shows if I can find it. Were one of the heads of the 2288 02:11:26,160 --> 02:11:30,540 CIA, who was also the head and so it gives you remember, I had 2289 02:11:30,540 --> 02:11:32,580 his name in front of me. You know, we had that guy. 2290 02:11:33,600 --> 02:11:38,100 We have some we have some colors. From the from the chat 2291 02:11:38,100 --> 02:11:44,070 room. chartreuse. Aquamarine. Too many would 2292 02:11:44,070 --> 02:11:45,600 syllables. Fuchsia, 2293 02:11:45,660 --> 02:11:46,980 we have fuchsia. No. 2294 02:11:47,910 --> 02:11:52,590 Cyan, cyan is good. Magenta. Magenta is good. That's another 2295 02:11:52,590 --> 02:11:53,070 good one. 2296 02:11:55,410 --> 02:11:57,810 Crimson wasn't already a crimson. 2297 02:11:58,590 --> 02:12:02,430 Crimson can make a comeback. It's on it's on its way. Yeah. 2298 02:12:02,520 --> 02:12:07,380 Anyway, let me get back. So this guy, the guy says, Well, you 2299 02:12:07,380 --> 02:12:10,800 know, I have to be honest about it. I ran these agencies, but I 2300 02:12:10,800 --> 02:12:13,230 didn't know half the stuff that was going on this. I mean, 2301 02:12:13,230 --> 02:12:16,320 there's all these little sub, you know, there's just broken 2302 02:12:16,320 --> 02:12:20,610 up. It's almost like it's like al Qaeda, the intelligence 2303 02:12:20,610 --> 02:12:22,560 community because there's all these agencies, they don't know 2304 02:12:22,560 --> 02:12:24,810 these little operations exist, even though they're funding 2305 02:12:24,810 --> 02:12:28,020 them. And there's 1000s of them all over the place. You know, 2306 02:12:28,020 --> 02:12:31,410 their think tanks, their research groups, there's a 2307 02:12:31,440 --> 02:12:34,500 million things. So I'm coming to the conclusion because of this 2308 02:12:34,500 --> 02:12:36,360 three thing that keeps cropping up double 2309 02:12:36,360 --> 02:12:40,320 rainbow. The double rainbow revolution. 2310 02:12:40,440 --> 02:12:43,710 Yeah, I'm sure the ice cream company would love that. Anyway, 2311 02:12:43,710 --> 02:12:47,640 so it would also Jesse Jackson would have to be behind it. So 2312 02:12:47,760 --> 02:12:51,300 I'm thinking that the three thing is a message back to base. 2313 02:12:51,840 --> 02:12:56,280 Oh, right to let you know that all as well. But let you know 2314 02:12:56,280 --> 02:12:58,650 that they were doing that what you're seeing is part of an 2315 02:12:58,650 --> 02:13:02,220 action that has been you know, premeditated by an agent to an 2316 02:13:02,220 --> 02:13:06,870 arm of the of the agency. And so you sent out some some press 2317 02:13:06,870 --> 02:13:08,940 thing it says you had the media in your pocket. You just said 2318 02:13:08,940 --> 02:13:13,290 look, you gotta run this 30,000 dead. Just run it is new. Just 2319 02:13:13,290 --> 02:13:15,360 run that and make sure it's that number it has, 2320 02:13:15,690 --> 02:13:18,570 but it can't be 30 This is the mistake people have been sending 2321 02:13:18,570 --> 02:13:25,830 me 330 Now it's 33. It's 33. It can be 33,033 33. It's two 2322 02:13:25,830 --> 02:13:28,920 threes. Next at least two threes. Yeah, okay, I say read 2323 02:13:28,920 --> 02:13:31,230 threes, then it's then it's really good. 2324 02:13:32,310 --> 02:13:34,800 Yeah, okay, so the three but it has to be two probably. And I 2325 02:13:34,800 --> 02:13:37,410 think it might be right because it's too many of these two to 33 2326 02:13:37,440 --> 02:13:39,240 dead and 33 shot. How about 2327 02:13:39,240 --> 02:13:43,800 33 victims now confirmed for the floods in Queensland. That just 2328 02:13:43,800 --> 02:13:44,280 came out? 2329 02:13:45,900 --> 02:13:49,230 Well, that's interesting. Yeah. Well, that would be a 2330 02:13:49,230 --> 02:13:53,370 confirmation of some some initiative that is finalized and 2331 02:13:53,370 --> 02:13:56,400 we're a part of it and did the 33 is that tell them that? Don't 2332 02:13:56,400 --> 02:13:57,480 worry, it's us. 2333 02:13:59,070 --> 02:14:07,710 A carwash, Vinny says 33 cars clean today boss. That's right. 2334 02:14:07,740 --> 02:14:11,070 I think you're totally right. And we're keeping our eye on it. 2335 02:14:11,130 --> 02:14:14,370 You know how many people have a Google Alerts now for 33? 2336 02:14:15,090 --> 02:14:18,060 We'll probably have four Listen, yes, because I because they by 2337 02:14:18,060 --> 02:14:18,690 the way, I'm working 2338 02:14:18,690 --> 02:14:21,930 on a new system for it for people who really want to help 2339 02:14:21,960 --> 02:14:24,480 produce the show, because it's getting a little out of hand. 2340 02:14:24,630 --> 02:14:29,700 And between shows I can now get three to 500 emails, that many 2341 02:14:29,700 --> 02:14:32,820 duplicates of course, which is okay, I appreciate it. Because 2342 02:14:32,910 --> 02:14:36,690 sometimes you get multiple angles of the story. Multiple 2343 02:14:36,690 --> 02:14:40,140 sources and then by the time you get like the links from people 2344 02:14:40,140 --> 02:14:43,650 with a link to the BBC, then you know, it's it's plateaued right? 2345 02:14:43,650 --> 02:14:45,540 Then you know, okay, everything else after this is going to be 2346 02:14:45,540 --> 02:14:50,760 the same. But I'm working on on a way that that we can do it not 2347 02:14:50,760 --> 02:14:53,670 through emails, the most inefficient device I've ever 2348 02:14:53,670 --> 02:15:00,150 used for this. It's horrible. I'm sorry, we'd lost you For a 2349 02:15:00,150 --> 02:15:01,110 second thing, well, we 2350 02:15:01,110 --> 02:15:03,390 could use, we could use a bulletin board system similar to 2351 02:15:03,390 --> 02:15:04,620 divorce a cage match. And 2352 02:15:04,620 --> 02:15:07,380 now it's got to be more structured than that. I'm pretty 2353 02:15:07,380 --> 02:15:10,740 structured. No, it's not. It's Devorah. Cage matches a 2354 02:15:10,740 --> 02:15:14,820 moderated forum. It's not structured. I'll say I don't 2355 02:15:14,820 --> 02:15:16,830 like moderated forums. Well, what 2356 02:15:16,830 --> 02:15:19,590 did what would you suggest I'm working on 2357 02:15:19,590 --> 02:15:23,400 something. And I shall suggest when I'm ready, I'm working on a 2358 02:15:23,400 --> 02:15:26,940 tool, a tool, we need some tools, just like the government 2359 02:15:26,940 --> 02:15:29,190 has tools, I have a tool 2360 02:15:29,490 --> 02:15:32,010 will tell you about tools that we do have a clip for the end of 2361 02:15:32,010 --> 02:15:34,590 the show, or if we can place part of it now or you should be 2362 02:15:34,710 --> 02:15:37,140 able to do it. It's a little long. I mean, maybe it's better. 2363 02:15:37,140 --> 02:15:41,760 But you know, that guy who had AQ USA, I mean, he's just very 2364 02:15:41,760 --> 02:15:44,340 long speech, this character, I wrote his name down on the 2365 02:15:44,490 --> 02:15:47,430 thing. I didn't bring it up here. But anyway, he's from 2366 02:15:47,430 --> 02:15:49,890 Princeton, and he's a or Georgetown, and he's a 2367 02:15:49,890 --> 02:15:53,550 professor, and he's talking about al Qaeda, and how they tap 2368 02:15:53,550 --> 02:15:56,820 into all the public information. But essentially, what he's 2369 02:15:56,820 --> 02:16:00,960 describing is what the two of us do, which is tap into all the 2370 02:16:00,960 --> 02:16:04,110 intelligence that's being gathered, and then reported on 2371 02:16:04,110 --> 02:16:08,310 and put on C span and other venues. And he claims that al 2372 02:16:08,310 --> 02:16:11,490 Qaeda is doing this so they can better understand how they can 2373 02:16:11,490 --> 02:16:15,390 screw us. But he puts it, he says in such a way as though, I 2374 02:16:15,390 --> 02:16:18,990 mean, how many guys are that does alQaeda have working for 2375 02:16:18,990 --> 02:16:23,160 them scouring C span? I think none. I think this is total bull 2376 02:16:23,160 --> 02:16:26,340 crap. I don't think al Qaeda is doing any of what this guy 2377 02:16:26,340 --> 02:16:30,660 describes. But he's convinced that they're, you know, there's 2378 02:16:30,660 --> 02:16:32,850 like they have a head office someplace, you know, why don't 2379 02:16:32,850 --> 02:16:33,780 we just bomb that 2380 02:16:33,809 --> 02:16:37,709 mentally, we see as I just described, al Qaeda existing and 2381 02:16:37,709 --> 02:16:41,189 surviving because it's always been as opportunistic as it is 2382 02:16:41,189 --> 02:16:43,799 instrumental that this is a movement that has always been 2383 02:16:43,799 --> 02:16:47,549 able to take advantages of opportunities, simply by 2384 02:16:47,549 --> 02:16:52,649 continuing to monitor, identify and exploit gaps in our 2385 02:16:52,649 --> 02:16:55,889 defenses. And this has been one of the keys to elkaar to 2386 02:16:55,889 --> 02:17:01,109 success. We tend to look at all sahab the clouds I'll call it as 2387 02:17:01,139 --> 02:17:02,129 media arm. 2388 02:17:02,669 --> 02:17:05,129 What also hard the clouds. 2389 02:17:05,850 --> 02:17:10,380 I also hub is a website. That means I think it means the cloud 2390 02:17:10,380 --> 02:17:12,120 in some version of Arab Oh, 2391 02:17:12,119 --> 02:17:15,509 that's great. So now for cloud a computer, we can call it also 2392 02:17:15,509 --> 02:17:17,339 hub. I guess 2393 02:17:17,340 --> 02:17:21,960 I have to looked at Microsoft and also hub. But he claims they 2394 02:17:21,960 --> 02:17:24,210 have a media arm ha. 2395 02:17:25,980 --> 02:17:30,090 For its output mission dissemination of propaganda from 2396 02:17:30,090 --> 02:17:35,010 its conception 22 years ago, also have has also had a very 2397 02:17:35,010 --> 02:17:39,480 important input capability, vacuuming strategic intelligence 2398 02:17:39,540 --> 02:17:43,200 of its allies. And to give you two brief examples. We know for 2399 02:17:43,200 --> 02:17:47,190 a fact that al Qaeda has downloaded the websites of every 2400 02:17:47,190 --> 02:17:48,930 major think tank in the United States. 2401 02:17:48,959 --> 02:17:54,059 Wow. They are so sophisticated. It's called W get in some cases, 2402 02:17:54,059 --> 02:17:54,209 what 2403 02:17:54,209 --> 02:17:56,759 are they doing it for this bull crap anyway, they're not 2404 02:17:56,759 --> 02:17:58,859 downloading anything. We know for 2405 02:17:58,860 --> 02:18:02,040 a fact that they've downloaded entire websites that 2406 02:18:02,850 --> 02:18:05,910 for a fact that why don't we do some some trace routes and find 2407 02:18:05,910 --> 02:18:07,680 out where these downloads are going? Why 2408 02:18:07,679 --> 02:18:09,839 don't you get their logs, man shoot them? 2409 02:18:09,870 --> 02:18:12,240 Yeah, really. Also, hubs will 2410 02:18:12,240 --> 02:18:15,660 times and especially those that have particular focuses or 2411 02:18:15,660 --> 02:18:16,800 interests. And 2412 02:18:16,920 --> 02:18:18,450 who is this jabroni? Again, 2413 02:18:18,930 --> 02:18:23,460 he's a professor at Georgetown whose international strategy or 2414 02:18:23,460 --> 02:18:24,930 something I want to camp with a 2415 02:18:24,959 --> 02:18:29,369 we know for a fact that al Qaeda is subscribing to the RSS feeds 2416 02:18:29,369 --> 02:18:32,969 of whitehouse.gov. This is an outrage, terrorism 2417 02:18:32,970 --> 02:18:37,680 and Homeland Security. Secondly, we know for a fact that al Qaeda 2418 02:18:37,680 --> 02:18:41,460 regularly monitors congressional testimony and hearings. 2419 02:18:41,490 --> 02:18:45,600 Oh, no, just like those no agenda, guys. They're watching C 2420 02:18:45,600 --> 02:18:46,140 span, 2421 02:18:46,379 --> 02:18:49,529 especially those hearings by the homeland security committees of 2422 02:18:49,529 --> 02:18:51,749 the Senate and House, the Armed Services Committee, the 2423 02:18:51,750 --> 02:18:54,330 judiciary, is this not a move to turn off C span? 2424 02:18:55,199 --> 02:18:57,989 I don't know what this is a move for but it's bull crap. It's 2425 02:18:57,990 --> 02:19:01,380 frightening because it sounds like we need to be secret about 2426 02:19:01,380 --> 02:19:01,620 all. 2427 02:19:02,129 --> 02:19:06,299 First we hear that al Qaeda is a cell oriented operation that is 2428 02:19:06,299 --> 02:19:08,879 separate from everything. There's no central al Qaeda, 2429 02:19:09,179 --> 02:19:11,549 there's no there's no way this could be going on because the 2430 02:19:11,549 --> 02:19:15,269 model that we're we're we've been told about al Qaeda doesn't 2431 02:19:15,269 --> 02:19:17,819 allow for this sort of thing, because then you could track it 2432 02:19:17,939 --> 02:19:20,759 and find out the headquarters and kill people. What happens 2433 02:19:20,759 --> 02:19:23,309 when this has got it. This is bullcrap. By definition, what 2434 02:19:23,309 --> 02:19:23,699 happened to 2435 02:19:23,700 --> 02:19:27,180 the al Qaeda guys on the monkey bars in the desert training is 2436 02:19:27,180 --> 02:19:29,670 now the case is no good. Jerry 2437 02:19:29,669 --> 02:19:32,099 committee and so on. Obviously, the Select Committee on 2438 02:19:32,099 --> 02:19:36,059 Intelligence very rarely meets in open session. They watch the 2439 02:19:36,059 --> 02:19:38,969 videos from them. They monitor the testimony and of course I 2440 02:19:38,969 --> 02:19:41,969 mean, this for them is manna from heaven. You have the heads 2441 02:19:41,969 --> 02:19:44,609 of government agencies or departments sitting in a panel 2442 02:19:44,609 --> 02:19:47,429 often subjected to withering questioning. 2443 02:19:47,520 --> 02:19:50,880 Swear during the I'm telling you, John, this is the start of 2444 02:19:50,880 --> 02:19:55,140 removing C span and making testimony secret again. That's 2445 02:19:55,140 --> 02:19:57,390 That's what it sounds like to me from this professor. 2446 02:19:59,550 --> 02:20:02,430 Well, there's a censorship angle to this because it is like, you 2447 02:20:02,430 --> 02:20:04,410 know, here's what's going on. And here's what they're doing. 2448 02:20:04,410 --> 02:20:08,010 And here's, you know, their download crazy, totally crazy 2449 02:20:08,010 --> 02:20:08,670 scrutiny 2450 02:20:08,700 --> 02:20:12,150 by congressmen or senators. They're asked to explain their 2451 02:20:12,150 --> 02:20:15,600 mission, their assessment of how successful they've been in their 2452 02:20:15,600 --> 02:20:16,860 mission, their men, they always 2453 02:20:16,860 --> 02:20:20,580 say, we can't tell you there's plenty of secrecy going on, they 2454 02:20:20,580 --> 02:20:24,420 never come out. And even on the member with the whole the whole 2455 02:20:24,450 --> 02:20:29,190 the underpants bomber hearing without will we can't talk talk 2456 02:20:29,190 --> 02:20:30,120 about that right now. 2457 02:20:31,860 --> 02:20:36,300 Tricks of success house, sufficient their budgets in are, 2458 02:20:36,300 --> 02:20:39,870 what their plans are, and so on. This is all information that I 2459 02:20:39,870 --> 02:20:43,440 was caught and gathers to facilitate its operations. So 2460 02:20:43,440 --> 02:20:47,280 what we can see is that al Qaeda arguably is achieving each of 2461 02:20:47,280 --> 02:20:50,730 its strategic objectives. And again, the fundamental conceit 2462 02:20:50,730 --> 02:20:54,840 as well throughout history of all terrorists and insurgent 2463 02:20:54,840 --> 02:21:00,240 groups is to avoid losing. And that I think is what I'll call 2464 02:21:00,240 --> 02:21:03,420 it a believes it's doing it may not be winning, but it's also 2465 02:21:03,570 --> 02:21:07,590 not losing it still exists and eventually they believe the time 2466 02:21:07,590 --> 02:21:10,530 is on their side and that they will be triumphant. 2467 02:21:12,270 --> 02:21:13,020 It's enough 2468 02:21:13,050 --> 02:21:16,770 I am we have contact now with the al Qaeda What was the name 2469 02:21:16,770 --> 02:21:17,490 of the cloud again, 2470 02:21:18,210 --> 02:21:23,100 l l have suddenly some I mean al Shabaab or something. So I want 2471 02:21:23,100 --> 02:21:23,160 to 2472 02:21:25,350 --> 02:21:29,880 just described what's existing and survive from always be this 2473 02:21:29,880 --> 02:21:32,700 opportunity is at the beginning, incremental that this is a 2474 02:21:32,700 --> 02:21:35,910 movement that has always been able to take advantages of 2475 02:21:35,910 --> 02:21:41,220 opportunities to bop simply by continuing to monitor, identify 2476 02:21:41,550 --> 02:21:44,940 and exploit gaps in our defense, say or the cloud and this has 2477 02:21:44,940 --> 02:21:49,350 been one of the keys to alkaitis success. We tend to look at all 2478 02:21:49,350 --> 02:21:51,180 sahab, also hub. 2479 02:21:52,320 --> 02:21:57,060 We have contacts ah ha Sahar, I think is Sal Saab. I think he's 2480 02:21:57,060 --> 02:22:00,870 saying sahab I think he's saying the sounds like it at first when 2481 02:22:00,870 --> 02:22:01,920 he says the second time 2482 02:22:01,980 --> 02:22:06,960 shish kebab. There are a lot of Gitmo nations things that we 2492 02:22:48,570 --> 02:22:53,790 didn't get to which kind of funny BBC police chief wants a 2493 02:22:53,790 --> 02:23:00,000 DNA database of people who are clients of prostitutes and get 2494 02:23:00,000 --> 02:23:04,530 my nation east. For some why? Well, so that'll deter you. So 2495 02:23:04,560 --> 02:23:08,880 essentially, the hookers will have to give up DNA, since 2496 02:23:08,880 --> 02:23:14,040 you're giving them DNA. So you can be putting the DNA to the 2497 02:23:14,040 --> 02:23:17,580 hookers. I think they can just take the prophylactic John out 2498 02:23:17,580 --> 02:23:19,080 that you have to swab the hookers. 2499 02:23:20,580 --> 02:23:24,360 So they're gonna make the hookers document and yes, yes, 2500 02:23:24,390 --> 02:23:26,940 that's right. What is wrong with the British public? 2501 02:23:28,350 --> 02:23:31,290 Coming here from Gitmo nation Western the People's Republic of 2502 02:23:31,290 --> 02:23:36,210 Southern California yay.
