1 00:00:00,000 --> 00:00:01,590 Oh my god, 2 00:00:01,620 --> 00:00:03,090 you dog you 3 00:00:03,960 --> 00:00:08,850 were all friends sexy. Adam curry John C. Dvorak is 4 00:00:08,850 --> 00:00:12,390 Thursday April 11 2013 Time for your get my nation media 5 00:00:12,390 --> 00:00:19,290 assassination episode 503 This is no agenda polishing up my 6 00:00:19,290 --> 00:00:22,770 antisocial personality disorder here at the Travis high tide out 7 00:00:22,770 --> 00:00:25,260 in Austin, Texas capital the drone Star State in the morning, 8 00:00:25,260 --> 00:00:27,030 everybody. I'm Adam curry. 9 00:00:27,240 --> 00:00:29,820 And without further ado, from Northern Silicon Valley, I'm 10 00:00:29,820 --> 00:00:38,490 John C. Dvorak. Greg Levin Buzzkill. No further inclined 11 00:00:38,490 --> 00:00:42,030 you and for you. I, 12 00:00:42,360 --> 00:00:46,890 what a fantastic fantastic thing to see it look, it's not like I 13 00:00:46,890 --> 00:00:50,460 didn't agree that we both agree that Bitcoin is the beanie baby 14 00:00:50,460 --> 00:00:54,300 of the financial crisis. In fact, I tweeted that just to 15 00:00:54,300 --> 00:00:57,300 remind everybody that that is what you said what you asserted 16 00:00:57,690 --> 00:01:00,270 Yes. And that's what makes me think that we have a crash 17 00:01:00,270 --> 00:01:02,940 coming because the baby phenomenon was the same thing 18 00:01:03,510 --> 00:01:07,710 worthless crap means nothing that traded his thought was had 19 00:01:07,710 --> 00:01:09,810 great value. I love 20 00:01:09,810 --> 00:01:15,270 I love the on Reddit they have a subreddit and this like hold 21 00:01:15,270 --> 00:01:22,950 strong everybody it's really funny. This is where we got a 22 00:01:22,950 --> 00:01:24,720 wall we got a wall at 100 23 00:01:25,200 --> 00:01:29,190 My god way yeah, these are it was probably a Florida 100 No, 24 00:01:29,190 --> 00:01:29,520 no, they 25 00:01:29,550 --> 00:01:33,150 they call it a wall. They call it a wall. Yes. Yeah, the 26 00:01:33,150 --> 00:01:33,750 Bitcoin 27 00:01:34,200 --> 00:01:37,920 down straight down. It's not a wall down. The Bitcoin 28 00:01:37,920 --> 00:01:41,100 community calls it a wall. Don't be a denier. Man. This is a 29 00:01:41,100 --> 00:01:42,360 natural correction. 30 00:01:42,660 --> 00:01:47,280 By the way, this was the same group. I did. Many of them were 31 00:01:47,310 --> 00:01:50,070 really old enough but it was essentially it was a bunch of 32 00:01:50,070 --> 00:01:53,670 tech nuts. That helped start the beanie baby thing 33 00:01:55,350 --> 00:01:59,790 it was indeed it was it was geeky nerds wasn't a 34 00:02:00,150 --> 00:02:02,700 lot of them. And then of course then it went mainstream and 35 00:02:02,700 --> 00:02:04,170 that's one of the thing really skyrocketed 36 00:02:04,200 --> 00:02:06,390 then it became like the toy 37 00:02:07,590 --> 00:02:10,890 right for this technically to be the same way it would have to 38 00:02:10,890 --> 00:02:13,860 get picked up by the public and then his become worth 1000s of 39 00:02:13,860 --> 00:02:15,390 dollars and then crash to zero. 40 00:02:15,630 --> 00:02:18,900 But you know what's interesting about the so if you haven't if 41 00:02:18,900 --> 00:02:22,560 you have no idea what's going on, but have a report well Oh, 42 00:02:22,560 --> 00:02:24,120 hold on a second. Oh my goodness. 43 00:02:24,420 --> 00:02:27,840 This is local news reporter trying to explain Bitcoin. 44 00:02:29,280 --> 00:02:33,000 What's the report tight? Oh, I got it. All right, here we go. 45 00:02:33,690 --> 00:02:34,980 Come on, come on load up. 46 00:02:35,010 --> 00:02:38,730 That prohibits it. It probably sounds a lot like a scam to a 47 00:02:38,730 --> 00:02:43,650 lot of people. That's right. It's money that you can't touch. 48 00:02:43,830 --> 00:02:47,670 The people are snapping it up like crazy. Vasquez on something 49 00:02:47,670 --> 00:02:49,230 called the Bitcoin. 50 00:02:50,160 --> 00:02:53,640 amount of open space. hailer more of Nashville is selling his 51 00:02:53,640 --> 00:03:00,300 property in Canada asking price $405,000 Or a few 1000 Bitcoins, 52 00:03:00,360 --> 00:03:02,880 Bitcoins are digital coins you can send through the internet. 53 00:03:03,060 --> 00:03:07,350 I've used it for a few online purchases and it's it's been the 54 00:03:07,350 --> 00:03:10,740 simplest thing that I've ever used. So what exactly is a 55 00:03:10,740 --> 00:03:14,460 Bitcoin? Actually is probably easier to talk about what 56 00:03:14,460 --> 00:03:20,850 Bitcoin is not. They are not physical coins. They are not 57 00:03:21,000 --> 00:03:26,310 wads of paper cash. Bitcoin is digital money, transactions from 58 00:03:26,310 --> 00:03:29,910 computer to computer, nothing you can hold in your hand. Well, 59 00:03:29,910 --> 00:03:32,370 it's a virtual currency you right you can't touch it. But 60 00:03:32,370 --> 00:03:35,010 most of your dollars in the bank you can't really touch anyway, 61 00:03:35,040 --> 00:03:38,580 Declan McCullough have seen it says special software assigns 62 00:03:38,580 --> 00:03:41,940 your Bitcoin currency a unique code that you would keep in a 63 00:03:41,940 --> 00:03:45,270 virtual wallet. Bitcoins are transferred directly from person 64 00:03:45,270 --> 00:03:48,000 to person via the net without going through a bank or clearing 65 00:03:48,000 --> 00:03:51,900 house two years ago bitcoins were worth less than $1 Each and 66 00:03:51,900 --> 00:03:53,490 were unknown outside the tech world 67 00:03:53,610 --> 00:04:02,100 but in so first of all, I think that it was this actual podcast 68 00:04:04,380 --> 00:04:08,580 that asserted that this was not something to invest your time 69 00:04:08,580 --> 00:04:12,900 and money into. Correct and you and we've been we were attacked 70 00:04:12,900 --> 00:04:13,860 several times. 71 00:04:14,040 --> 00:04:16,770 Oh yeah. This is remote reminiscent of another clip I 72 00:04:17,340 --> 00:04:20,520 play later. Yes, we were attacked from a number of 73 00:04:20,520 --> 00:04:21,210 sources from the 74 00:04:21,210 --> 00:04:23,580 No no, no, from the Bitcoin community. 75 00:04:24,660 --> 00:04:27,330 Right. It was from the Bitcoin Yeah, the true believers. It was 76 00:04:27,330 --> 00:04:28,590 a true believers at a time. 77 00:04:28,890 --> 00:04:33,630 And it's sad now because I'm reading on this on the 78 00:04:33,630 --> 00:04:37,320 subreddit, which was just hilarious yesterday. A couple of 79 00:04:37,320 --> 00:04:39,510 things. First of all, this is all about the exchanges. We need 80 00:04:39,510 --> 00:04:43,950 to know exchanges because Mt Gox, which is how I call it but 81 00:04:43,950 --> 00:04:49,590 it's I guess, Mt. Mt. Gox. Mt. Gox is the main exchange and of 82 00:04:49,590 --> 00:04:52,140 course, this is where everything's manipulated. And 83 00:04:52,860 --> 00:04:56,610 supposedly they got a denial of distributed denial of service 84 00:04:56,610 --> 00:05:00,540 attack with people, you know, selling, or bots. selling 85 00:05:00,570 --> 00:05:05,430 Bitcoin is whatever. It's the whole point is that we said 86 00:05:05,430 --> 00:05:09,600 don't do this and I read sad stories of people like, man I 87 00:05:09,600 --> 00:05:14,430 just got in yesterday or No, no, here's the daily here's I worked 88 00:05:14,430 --> 00:05:18,060 for bitcoins. That's my favorite. I worked for bitcoins 89 00:05:18,060 --> 00:05:23,640 not feeling too good now, yeah. When you get paid a $266 to the 90 00:05:23,640 --> 00:05:26,940 Bitcoin and what is it currently? It's 120. 91 00:05:27,540 --> 00:05:32,520 still high? Yeah, I mean, it's worthless. It's worthless, 92 00:05:32,520 --> 00:05:33,240 hammered zero, 93 00:05:33,270 --> 00:05:35,970 right? So everyone's like, man, what are you going to do with 94 00:05:35,970 --> 00:05:41,160 all your Bitcoin Mini? So I'm just holding on, I have still 95 00:05:41,160 --> 00:05:47,130 100 Bitcoin. So in theory, I lost, like $16,000. Of course, I 96 00:05:47,130 --> 00:05:49,950 had nothing to start with. And I didn't put this as all found 97 00:05:49,950 --> 00:05:55,710 money, so called money. And I but I wonder. So we know, 98 00:05:55,710 --> 00:05:58,710 there's this outfit called Bitpay. And the way Bitpay 99 00:05:58,710 --> 00:06:00,930 works, and it helped me understand this, John, 100 00:06:01,260 --> 00:06:04,620 I've heard you wait a minute, don't put those kinds of demands 101 00:06:04,620 --> 00:06:05,220 on me. 102 00:06:07,860 --> 00:06:13,200 So they gave you a Bitcoin. It's free if you're selling stuff. If 103 00:06:13,200 --> 00:06:15,330 you're a merchant, now, I'm not a merchant, you know, they have 104 00:06:15,360 --> 00:06:19,290 a good little PR thing going on, you know, the first bar in New 105 00:06:19,290 --> 00:06:21,960 York City to accept bitcoins and so 106 00:06:21,960 --> 00:06:24,540 the way it works buy a drink with a Bitcoin. Well, there's 107 00:06:24,540 --> 00:06:29,250 it's a process. But you get like a QR code you get no it doesn't, 108 00:06:29,250 --> 00:06:31,050 it doesn't matter. Here's my 109 00:06:32,820 --> 00:06:37,770 Hey, man, I can't remember my number bro. It's kind of long, 110 00:06:38,280 --> 00:06:41,880 long, give me like a double. And then I'll give you a Bitcoin 111 00:06:41,880 --> 00:06:42,270 tomorrow. 112 00:06:45,300 --> 00:06:49,470 So they give you a bitcoin address. The minute money is 113 00:06:49,470 --> 00:06:53,220 deposited Bitcoins, I'm sorry, are deposited, it shows up at 114 00:06:53,220 --> 00:06:56,580 the current rate in your account, and they transfer that 115 00:06:56,580 --> 00:06:59,970 amount to your bank account minus 1% fee. 116 00:07:00,240 --> 00:07:02,760 Oh, what's that there was no fees involved with this. Great, 117 00:07:02,790 --> 00:07:03,060 so 118 00:07:04,050 --> 00:07:07,830 bear with me, because I'm asking you a question. So on this 119 00:07:07,830 --> 00:07:10,590 meteoric rise, I've been like, every day, I'm like, I'm gonna 120 00:07:10,590 --> 00:07:14,670 sell a Bitcoin, I need its time. And so so I don't sell it, I 121 00:07:14,670 --> 00:07:18,540 just transfer it to my Bitpay account. And then, you know, 122 00:07:18,720 --> 00:07:21,360 boom, it's there in dollars, and they send it to me. So what 123 00:07:21,360 --> 00:07:24,270 happens to an outfit like that? Who received? I don't know, 124 00:07:24,270 --> 00:07:27,900 maybe, maybe they received 1000 bitcoins yesterday from people 125 00:07:27,900 --> 00:07:32,460 who were expected to see it change into the current rate. 126 00:07:34,440 --> 00:07:38,370 You know, they only do their their transfer once a once a day 127 00:07:38,670 --> 00:07:41,610 to the bank account. So how do they eat the loss on that? 128 00:07:42,720 --> 00:07:46,380 Well, actually, the way most of these things work is mutual 129 00:07:46,380 --> 00:07:49,560 funds have a similar kind of a setup, they have a certain time 130 00:07:49,560 --> 00:07:52,110 when they do the transaction. And is that the type of 131 00:07:52,110 --> 00:07:57,240 transaction that the that the calculation of what you get is 132 00:07:57,240 --> 00:08:01,080 made, it's not like in the morning, he says, say in the 133 00:08:01,080 --> 00:08:03,090 morning, by the way, in the morning and in the morning to 134 00:08:03,090 --> 00:08:05,730 you John C. Dvorak in the morning all ships to see boots 135 00:08:05,730 --> 00:08:07,770 on the ground feet in the air and subs in the water and 136 00:08:07,770 --> 00:08:13,080 Davidson nights out there. Yeah. And, and the chat room anyway, 137 00:08:13,080 --> 00:08:18,030 in the morning. They get you send your Bitcoin into them 138 00:08:18,030 --> 00:08:21,780 before thinking you're gonna get 160 bucks if they I don't know 139 00:08:21,780 --> 00:08:24,360 how they're set up. But generally speaking, the way it's 140 00:08:24,360 --> 00:08:27,720 supposed to work, is that when the transaction actually takes 141 00:08:27,720 --> 00:08:31,680 place, that's you get the transaction amount. Yeah, yes, I 142 00:08:31,680 --> 00:08:34,410 know, you get 100 bucks instead of the 160 expected. 143 00:08:34,559 --> 00:08:38,069 No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, that's not that's not how 144 00:08:38,069 --> 00:08:40,229 they're doing it at least well, they're doing it wrong. Well, 145 00:08:40,229 --> 00:08:42,989 that's why I'm asking how can those guys survive when you have 146 00:08:42,989 --> 00:08:43,439 can't? 147 00:08:43,470 --> 00:08:46,770 They just would that's why you don't do it that way? Science. 148 00:08:47,310 --> 00:08:49,680 You don't do it that way. Because that's what can happen. 149 00:08:49,680 --> 00:08:51,120 You get whipped whipsawed. Right. 150 00:08:51,420 --> 00:08:55,050 That's what I mean. Yeah. Do you like my new jingle science? Do 151 00:08:55,080 --> 00:08:59,550 you recognize that voice? That you know, science? Name the 152 00:08:59,550 --> 00:09:00,180 voice? 153 00:09:00,930 --> 00:09:03,540 Oh, God, you know, yeah, Sheila's an expert. 154 00:09:03,870 --> 00:09:07,860 You can do you can do this one science, who would rip our show 155 00:09:07,860 --> 00:09:11,490 off while claiming he's never heard it. Oh, that's Leo. 156 00:09:11,490 --> 00:09:19,020 Science. Exactly. I just feel or show off with. I'm just saying 157 00:09:19,050 --> 00:09:22,770 yes, he does that. Just what you're doing a podcast. 158 00:09:23,520 --> 00:09:32,310 Twice a week. No. Oh, before we start, remember on the show 500. 159 00:09:32,430 --> 00:09:35,100 Well, we have started technically, I guess on show 500 160 00:09:35,550 --> 00:09:39,840 You brought back a couple of clips. And then we played them. 161 00:09:39,840 --> 00:09:43,920 And these were just crazy things that only really this show has 162 00:09:43,920 --> 00:09:47,820 stopped to talk about and think about. But one clip in 163 00:09:47,820 --> 00:09:52,590 particular, one of our producers went holy crap. I mean, you guys 164 00:09:52,620 --> 00:09:56,190 you're playing for the second time and do you actually hear 165 00:09:56,190 --> 00:10:00,240 what is being said? And this is in regards to the do Do you 166 00:10:00,240 --> 00:10:03,120 believe an attack on the homeland is imminent within the 167 00:10:03,120 --> 00:10:04,290 next six months? 168 00:10:04,500 --> 00:10:10,020 Right? Said in 2009, right. But who knew and said yes, 169 00:10:10,050 --> 00:10:14,370 well, that wasn't really the question nor the answer. And 170 00:10:14,370 --> 00:10:18,930 okay, yeah, I know. And I'm like, and it took me a while to 171 00:10:18,930 --> 00:10:21,540 underscore this email was coming in and a lot, I guess, how much 172 00:10:21,540 --> 00:10:24,750 email? And I try not to reply, because when you reply them, 173 00:10:24,750 --> 00:10:27,750 people think, Oh, goody, I have a little chat with Adam. That's 174 00:10:28,500 --> 00:10:33,870 it, man. I'm hooked. I got another email from him. Let's 175 00:10:33,870 --> 00:10:36,480 see if he actually signs off even with his initials. 176 00:10:36,930 --> 00:10:38,490 I answer all email. 177 00:10:39,750 --> 00:10:45,450 Deke, do not. All right. So let's listen to this again, with 178 00:10:45,510 --> 00:10:46,500 with new ears 179 00:10:46,530 --> 00:10:49,080 or intelligence to the head of the CIA. They were all in 180 00:10:49,080 --> 00:10:54,990 agreement. Listen. What is the likelihood of another terrorist 181 00:10:55,080 --> 00:10:59,460 attempted attack on the US homeland in the next three to 182 00:10:59,460 --> 00:11:00,330 six months? 183 00:11:00,360 --> 00:11:02,700 Now? Did you hear what she said? 184 00:11:04,230 --> 00:11:06,840 Yes, she was like a terror attack or attempted attack, 185 00:11:07,080 --> 00:11:11,190 the likelihood of a US attempted attack now listen to the answer. 186 00:11:11,280 --> 00:11:13,890 high or low. Director Blair. 187 00:11:15,270 --> 00:11:17,340 An attempted attack the priority is certain. 188 00:11:19,080 --> 00:11:22,200 The priority is certain for an attempted attack. 189 00:11:23,580 --> 00:11:26,430 Now, yeah, you're right, that actually that answer is 190 00:11:26,430 --> 00:11:27,960 ludicrous on its surface. 191 00:11:27,990 --> 00:11:31,380 I mean, we know what it means is yes, the priority is we're gonna 192 00:11:31,380 --> 00:11:33,780 go do something. This exactly what it means 193 00:11:34,230 --> 00:11:36,300 to play the whole thing over again, with it in mind that 194 00:11:36,300 --> 00:11:39,900 she's asking if we're going to attack ourselves in some phony 195 00:11:39,900 --> 00:11:44,430 baloney way. Yeah. And is it important that we do so? Which 196 00:11:44,430 --> 00:11:46,950 which is the reinterpretation of the question? 197 00:11:46,980 --> 00:11:48,600 That's the real question here. Yes. All 198 00:11:48,600 --> 00:11:51,450 intelligence to the head of the CIA. They were all in agreement. 199 00:11:51,450 --> 00:11:57,780 Listen. What is the likelihood of another terrorist attempted 200 00:11:57,960 --> 00:12:03,120 attack on the US homeland in the next three to six months? high 201 00:12:03,150 --> 00:12:08,160 or low? Director Blair? And attempted attack the priority is 202 00:12:08,160 --> 00:12:15,330 certain I would say. I would agree with Mr. Mueller. Agree. 203 00:12:15,960 --> 00:12:19,200 General Burgess ma'am agree. Mr. dinger? 204 00:12:19,230 --> 00:12:19,680 Yes 205 00:12:20,610 --> 00:12:23,850 and note and notice that none of them say because the question 206 00:12:23,850 --> 00:12:27,210 was high medium or low and they're just saying that 207 00:12:27,210 --> 00:12:30,630 whatever he said you know the priority is high for and the 208 00:12:30,630 --> 00:12:34,800 priority is high. We got to do that. So you just have to listen 209 00:12:34,800 --> 00:12:38,880 people that's the that is the the lesson here then even we 210 00:12:38,880 --> 00:12:43,440 missed that. Can't believe it. Man we need to play our jingle 211 00:12:43,440 --> 00:12:52,050 for that. Oh, here we go. We're believable. Unbelievable. 212 00:12:53,220 --> 00:12:56,760 So so the Bitcoin thing fell apart? 213 00:12:57,120 --> 00:13:00,330 Oh, no, no, no, no, this is a this is a normal market 214 00:13:00,360 --> 00:13:02,310 correction. This is how the free market 215 00:13:02,310 --> 00:13:04,650 works. Yeah, this is my thinking. This is 216 00:13:05,490 --> 00:13:10,290 shall we? Shall we read some from the from the Bitcoin 217 00:13:10,290 --> 00:13:11,160 subreddit? 218 00:13:11,490 --> 00:13:12,570 Yes, I want to hear some of 219 00:13:12,570 --> 00:13:16,560 this. Here is one. I think this subreddit should seriously 220 00:13:16,560 --> 00:13:20,340 consider having suicide hotline info posted. Okay, that makes 221 00:13:20,340 --> 00:13:29,340 sense. Oh. Oh. Please stop crying. Move over to another 222 00:13:29,340 --> 00:13:38,130 exchange and save the future of Bitcoin. Oh, man. The one that I 223 00:13:38,130 --> 00:13:40,650 had yesterday seems to have been bumped off. That was that was 224 00:13:40,650 --> 00:13:44,670 just hilarious. And people are just like, oh, man, this is who 225 00:13:44,670 --> 00:13:47,910 else didn't sell that? I mean, have you ever have you ever seen 226 00:13:47,910 --> 00:13:51,300 these the second bunch of old ladies? Well, no, it's more like 227 00:13:51,300 --> 00:13:54,060 the the Yahoo bulletin board penny stock 228 00:13:54,600 --> 00:13:57,090 forums. A bunch of old ladies too. 229 00:13:57,270 --> 00:14:00,540 Right? Well, yeah, I don't know if they're old ladies. But 230 00:14:00,540 --> 00:14:00,990 they're all just 231 00:14:01,770 --> 00:14:05,130 they're not old ladies. They're they act like old ladies. 232 00:14:05,400 --> 00:14:06,930 fidgety old ladies. 233 00:14:07,350 --> 00:14:10,980 Right. So everyone's very surprised that they weren't able 234 00:14:10,980 --> 00:14:14,460 to really trade when this price fluctuates. fluctuations. 235 00:14:15,060 --> 00:14:16,950 Very interesting phenomenon. 236 00:14:20,460 --> 00:14:23,430 All right. Well, I'm just waiting. Now. Where are y'all 237 00:14:23,460 --> 00:14:27,210 come on back. Let's wait for the love the Bitcoin love after we 238 00:14:27,210 --> 00:14:31,230 told you. So. We did. We told everyone so. 239 00:14:31,710 --> 00:14:32,940 Well, you're still 240 00:14:33,540 --> 00:14:37,980 no, no, John, what are you talking about? I expressly told 241 00:14:37,980 --> 00:14:42,900 you to take the Bitcoin donation off of the donation page. Yeah, 242 00:14:42,900 --> 00:14:45,750 no, I did that. Because it couldn't. So here's the here's 243 00:14:45,750 --> 00:14:48,330 the here's my point people so let's say we're counting on 244 00:14:48,480 --> 00:14:54,210 exchanging this into money to pay for rent, which is pretty 245 00:14:54,210 --> 00:14:58,080 much what we do you know, with with the funds you support us 246 00:14:58,080 --> 00:15:01,590 with, so that we can you know, rent and food there's not much 247 00:15:01,590 --> 00:15:05,970 outside deals they will bills. Yeah. So if if people had 248 00:15:05,970 --> 00:15:08,760 donated on the last show, which was already low and they had 249 00:15:08,760 --> 00:15:12,960 done it in Bitcoin and we would immediately have had only 40% 250 00:15:14,310 --> 00:15:17,280 Can you imagine? It's huge? Yeah, it would have been sad 251 00:15:17,280 --> 00:15:19,050 would have been a really sad day. 252 00:15:20,850 --> 00:15:25,200 Okay, well in more lively news, yeah. I'm gonna read the 253 00:15:25,200 --> 00:15:28,980 headline and then read a bit of the article. Okay. Bras make 254 00:15:28,980 --> 00:15:34,350 breasts Saghir. A 15 year French study revealed so they were 255 00:15:34,470 --> 00:15:40,380 studying breasts 15 years. It says here women have long been 256 00:15:40,380 --> 00:15:42,480 told that a good bra can help support the chest relieve back 257 00:15:42,480 --> 00:15:46,320 pain and prevent sagging. However, a new 15 year French 258 00:15:46,320 --> 00:15:50,520 study reveals the opposite. Bras do a little to reduce back pain 259 00:15:50,520 --> 00:15:54,300 and overtime they can actually make breasts breast sag even 260 00:15:54,300 --> 00:15:57,060 more really, indeed. 261 00:15:58,830 --> 00:15:59,970 Indeed, he says 262 00:16:01,830 --> 00:16:04,140 a real yawn and his team I'm going to skip through a little 263 00:16:04,140 --> 00:16:08,670 bit of the article. And his team spent years majoring the changes 264 00:16:08,940 --> 00:16:13,230 in the breasts of 330 women using a simple slide rule and 265 00:16:13,230 --> 00:16:17,940 caliper at the center of hospitality a universe of care 266 00:16:18,570 --> 00:16:22,860 presidents where he carried out his research was French guys 267 00:16:23,790 --> 00:16:26,970 carried out 15 years of major measuring breasts. 268 00:16:27,210 --> 00:16:31,290 And this was funded but this was a funded research project. 269 00:16:31,920 --> 00:16:35,280 The study found that women who took off their bras for good 270 00:16:35,610 --> 00:16:39,780 experienced a seven millimeter measured by the by the 271 00:16:39,780 --> 00:16:44,190 measurement tool lift in their nipples each year. Each year 272 00:16:44,190 --> 00:16:49,050 they didn't wear a bra seven millimeters up. Researchers also 273 00:16:49,050 --> 00:16:52,590 found that bra less women develop firmer breasts and saw 274 00:16:52,590 --> 00:16:57,180 their stretch marks fade. Okay, anyway. 275 00:16:57,510 --> 00:17:01,500 Well, that's good. That's just great. Yeah. Thank you for that. 276 00:17:01,500 --> 00:17:01,830 That's 277 00:17:02,310 --> 00:17:03,510 it and on these studies. 278 00:17:04,079 --> 00:17:06,539 That's why we are the best podcast in the universe. 279 00:17:06,539 --> 00:17:06,959 Everybody 280 00:17:07,050 --> 00:17:09,660 has been reporting this has been done to report it. You know. 281 00:17:10,710 --> 00:17:17,190 What I did see was a huge interview with Anthony wiener 282 00:17:17,190 --> 00:17:20,400 and Houma Aberdeen in the New York Times. 283 00:17:20,760 --> 00:17:23,490 Oops, they're trying to get him back in the fold. They you know, 284 00:17:23,490 --> 00:17:25,890 they figured the public is going to forget what a pervert he is. 285 00:17:25,920 --> 00:17:26,400 Well, here's 286 00:17:26,399 --> 00:17:30,419 what's interesting. So I'm looking at this article. I'm 287 00:17:30,419 --> 00:17:34,889 like, You should just Google it real quick. Just just to grab 288 00:17:34,889 --> 00:17:40,289 it's like 10 pages, webpages that is online. 289 00:17:40,440 --> 00:17:42,570 I am alright Aberdeen's what? 290 00:17:45,330 --> 00:17:55,650 Hu Ma, who? Huma, Huma so this is see if I can find this for 291 00:17:55,650 --> 00:17:56,250 you soul 292 00:17:56,250 --> 00:17:59,700 searching Lynard seeks forgiveness CNN one hour was it 293 00:17:59,700 --> 00:18:02,610 he's got a PR person will post Well, 294 00:18:02,880 --> 00:18:07,470 here's news. Okay, so here's what's interesting for mayor. So 295 00:18:07,470 --> 00:18:10,710 he's running for he's he's considering running for mayor. 296 00:18:10,740 --> 00:18:15,630 That's what this is about. And so it's normal that you're going 297 00:18:15,630 --> 00:18:18,360 to start cranking stuff up. So I read this interview this 298 00:18:18,360 --> 00:18:23,760 morning, in its entirety. It is unbelievable fluff piece. This 299 00:18:23,760 --> 00:18:25,710 is the New York Times who's at 300 00:18:25,710 --> 00:18:28,860 his home. So I'm looking at it now. Anthony Weiner Illuma. 301 00:18:29,100 --> 00:18:33,540 Aberdeen's post scandal playbook. Yeah, so the picture 302 00:18:33,540 --> 00:18:35,700 of them around the table He's barefoot. 303 00:18:36,330 --> 00:18:38,220 There. I think they're both barefoot in the picture. 304 00:18:39,900 --> 00:18:42,810 She No, no, no, she's got some sort of leopard skin. 305 00:18:43,620 --> 00:18:48,120 Flats. She's got flats on. Okay, that's so pumped. So I'm reading 306 00:18:48,120 --> 00:18:53,310 this. And I mean, so this is not only completely full of crap, it 307 00:18:53,310 --> 00:18:56,550 is such a puff piece. And this is the New York Times. This is a 308 00:18:56,550 --> 00:19:01,500 potential mayoral candidate for the hometown of this newspaper. 309 00:19:01,830 --> 00:19:06,870 And this is one big fluff. There's not even one mention of 310 00:19:06,870 --> 00:19:10,230 the fact that he's Jewish, and she's Muslim. And that's not in 311 00:19:10,230 --> 00:19:13,440 the whole article at all, you know, but it's all about their 312 00:19:13,440 --> 00:19:17,970 relationship and their marriage. There's no mention of Bill 313 00:19:17,970 --> 00:19:22,800 Clinton having officiated over their over their wedding. And in 314 00:19:22,800 --> 00:19:25,830 fact what's very interesting is all the time Anthony wiener is 315 00:19:25,830 --> 00:19:29,280 talking about maybe he should run maybe you is considering it. 316 00:19:29,490 --> 00:19:32,670 Not once does it is written I don't know if he said it and I 317 00:19:32,670 --> 00:19:35,580 want you to written you know that he cares about the city of 318 00:19:35,580 --> 00:19:39,330 New York. It's all about him and about his path. And I told you I 319 00:19:39,330 --> 00:19:42,720 met this guy. I interviewed him for CNN, when he was still a 320 00:19:42,720 --> 00:19:46,680 councilman. He is an asshole. And I said that when he would 321 00:19:46,680 --> 00:19:49,590 member before we even knew he was lying. So this guy, he's a 322 00:19:49,590 --> 00:19:52,830 total political douche bag. 323 00:19:53,190 --> 00:19:55,530 And then when were you working for CNN? It 324 00:19:55,530 --> 00:19:59,040 was they had they had a CNN presents. There was no CNN 325 00:19:59,040 --> 00:20:03,720 special series. They would have like different celebrities. This 326 00:20:03,720 --> 00:20:06,930 is my MTV days, different celebrities go out, celebrate 327 00:20:06,930 --> 00:20:10,830 ease, go out and interview politicians. You had the big 328 00:20:10,830 --> 00:20:13,980 hair then had the big hair and I interviewed him. I like to see 329 00:20:13,980 --> 00:20:16,500 that interview. I interviewed him. But then I also went to see 330 00:20:16,500 --> 00:20:20,850 his his. His Uber granddaddy, which was Chuck Schumer and I 331 00:20:20,850 --> 00:20:22,860 interviewed him in Washington for the piece. 332 00:20:23,850 --> 00:20:27,030 Oh, you think? What jealous about these two guys? 333 00:20:27,360 --> 00:20:33,840 Okay, Anthony Weiner is an asshole. Chuck Schumer is the 334 00:20:33,840 --> 00:20:37,230 asshole of the daddy's asshole. I was I mean, it was so 335 00:20:37,230 --> 00:20:41,910 uncomfortable. For me. It was just like an wiener. I mean, I 336 00:20:41,910 --> 00:20:44,340 we talked about this on the show, when this was all coming 337 00:20:44,340 --> 00:20:49,350 down. Like this guy is just creepy. It he doesn't give a 338 00:20:49,350 --> 00:20:53,010 crap. You know, he only shows up for the cameras. I mean, I saw 339 00:20:53,010 --> 00:20:56,970 the whole thing taking place. And when he was a councilman, so 340 00:20:57,000 --> 00:21:00,030 you know, so this is clearly a move. And then I see the article 341 00:21:00,030 --> 00:21:05,010 is written by Jonathan Van Meter, or Mater depending on how 342 00:21:05,010 --> 00:21:07,980 you pronounce it. Google that name for a second this will be 343 00:21:07,980 --> 00:21:12,510 this will give you a kick, Jonathan Van Meter plant, m e t 344 00:21:12,510 --> 00:21:15,450 er and look what he's done recently. Just look at the 345 00:21:15,450 --> 00:21:19,920 Google Let me see. Oh, do you think he did every single piece 346 00:21:19,920 --> 00:21:23,820 for Hillary Clinton? Do you think he did the Vogue piece for 347 00:21:23,820 --> 00:21:27,120 Hillary Clinton? Yes, actually Google Jonathan Van Meter and 348 00:21:27,330 --> 00:21:33,270 Hillary that's even better. And let's see all the puff pieces 349 00:21:33,270 --> 00:21:39,840 that he's written in Hillary's in Hillary's footsteps? Under 350 00:21:39,840 --> 00:21:43,620 let's see, top 10 things we learned about Hillary Clinton 351 00:21:43,620 --> 00:21:48,150 from Vogue magazine. Hillary's crush, and David Miliband, 352 00:21:48,150 --> 00:21:53,430 Hillary Clinton's lighter side. This guy is, you know, he's on 353 00:21:53,430 --> 00:21:54,810 the Clinton payroll. 354 00:21:57,930 --> 00:22:00,270 You see right through it. Yeah, I'm looking at some of his stuff 355 00:22:00,270 --> 00:22:01,560 for the New York Magazine. 356 00:22:01,650 --> 00:22:05,100 But then he writes for New York Times about a possible mayoral 357 00:22:05,100 --> 00:22:07,470 candidate by the way, the guy has four and a half million 358 00:22:07,470 --> 00:22:11,130 dollars in the Anthony wiener for Mayor fund, and another one 359 00:22:11,130 --> 00:22:13,800 and a half million leftover from the Senate, which he gets to 360 00:22:13,800 --> 00:22:19,770 keep. And you know, New York if new house, I'm sorry, the house, 361 00:22:19,980 --> 00:22:26,490 if New York would elect this guy. They deserve it. It's just 362 00:22:26,490 --> 00:22:29,310 but you know, it's so obvious that the Clintons are pushing 363 00:22:29,310 --> 00:22:32,070 him. And we knew this from the start, we knew that this was the 364 00:22:32,070 --> 00:22:32,910 whole deal. 365 00:22:33,600 --> 00:22:36,360 Because who's got the wife? You know, Hillary's girlfriends, his 366 00:22:36,360 --> 00:22:40,680 wife. And so that's one important aspect, if not a 367 00:22:40,680 --> 00:22:45,930 couple of Emperor types. And so they will they figure they can 368 00:22:45,930 --> 00:22:48,960 get more? I mean, how much more money does Bill Clinton need? I 369 00:22:48,960 --> 00:22:52,080 mean, he's already halfway to the grave, and he's still trying 370 00:22:52,080 --> 00:22:53,520 to make as much money as he can. 371 00:22:55,140 --> 00:22:58,860 Do now. Now of course, we have Chelsea who was? Oh, yeah, well, 372 00:22:58,860 --> 00:23:01,380 of course, that's in the Red Book, that we're that Chelsea 373 00:23:01,380 --> 00:23:03,090 would run. Yeah, of course, it's in the Red Book, 374 00:23:03,360 --> 00:23:05,970 long ago in the release. So when we first saw Chelsea do 375 00:23:05,970 --> 00:23:08,220 something we feared she's gonna run for something. Right? I 376 00:23:08,220 --> 00:23:10,470 didn't refer Irishman in Southern California, and I 377 00:23:10,470 --> 00:23:10,710 didn't 378 00:23:10,710 --> 00:23:14,520 clip it, but and by the way, she you know, for for the, for the 379 00:23:14,520 --> 00:23:18,360 way she's for the woman she's turned out to be as she she's a 380 00:23:18,360 --> 00:23:21,840 great speaker. She's very, very good. And she was being 381 00:23:21,840 --> 00:23:25,260 interviewed, I don't know, probably ABC or is you know, and 382 00:23:25,260 --> 00:23:29,070 some friendly compromised news network. And it's like, well, 383 00:23:29,070 --> 00:23:31,350 you're gonna run she's like, Well, no, but, you know, should 384 00:23:31,350 --> 00:23:34,980 I feel that there's a novelist here. We know. Yeah. Should I 385 00:23:34,980 --> 00:23:39,210 feel that there's an obvious need for better drafted, it was 386 00:23:39,300 --> 00:23:41,970 no, no, no, she's like, I'm very happy with my current 387 00:23:41,970 --> 00:23:45,990 representation. But should I feel that that's different than 388 00:23:46,020 --> 00:23:46,230 I 389 00:23:46,740 --> 00:23:49,380 just someplace where I I'm not happy with those people there. 390 00:23:50,640 --> 00:23:54,780 So then I can go run there. Yeah, this is the this is the 391 00:23:54,780 --> 00:23:55,920 dinosaur New Yorkers 392 00:23:55,920 --> 00:23:59,820 are idiots anyway, I mean, Hillary Clinton, who's never 393 00:23:59,850 --> 00:24:04,770 really lived in New York ever, you know, waltzed into the US 394 00:24:04,770 --> 00:24:08,580 Senate as a senator from New York Yeah. Which is just shows 395 00:24:08,580 --> 00:24:13,110 you that how you know how weak willed the New York Public is in 396 00:24:13,110 --> 00:24:16,470 general. And cuz she's not in New York and she's how she 397 00:24:16,470 --> 00:24:18,720 represent New York and then of course, she's She promised she 398 00:24:18,720 --> 00:24:21,510 wasn't gonna run for anything else and immediately ran for 399 00:24:21,510 --> 00:24:24,630 president against Obama thinking it was a shoo in because she was 400 00:24:24,630 --> 00:24:29,070 so lazy because she was too overconfident and lost. I think 401 00:24:29,070 --> 00:24:34,200 they do have an overconfidence probably. Yeah, yeah. No, 402 00:24:34,200 --> 00:24:36,060 although that may screw things. Anyway, 403 00:24:36,150 --> 00:24:37,740 I just thought it was kind of interesting to see 404 00:24:37,740 --> 00:24:41,760 if New Yorkers are so dumb that they elect this. This Dick 405 00:24:43,950 --> 00:24:48,840 exhibitionist as their I think be funny. Do yourself New York, 406 00:24:48,960 --> 00:24:51,030 who instead of the big app would be the big dick. 407 00:24:52,740 --> 00:24:57,030 So do yourself a favor and read this article. And then, you 408 00:24:57,030 --> 00:24:58,320 know, ask yourself trying 409 00:24:58,320 --> 00:24:59,970 to read it right now on the web. 410 00:25:00,000 --> 00:25:03,150 How compromised readable how compromised is the New York 411 00:25:03,150 --> 00:25:06,660 Times I mean so the two that like three bastions we have left 412 00:25:07,050 --> 00:25:09,810 that are still held as like you know because the Tiffany network 413 00:25:09,810 --> 00:25:13,320 that went away with Dan Rather than we have the New York Times 414 00:25:14,430 --> 00:25:18,360 which is supposed to be you know the paper of record and then we 415 00:25:18,360 --> 00:25:22,890 have our national treasures PBS and NPR NPR by the way who have 416 00:25:22,890 --> 00:25:28,470 been doing a fundraising drive Can I listen to 417 00:25:29,820 --> 00:25:31,170 that gear? Well, it's 418 00:25:31,170 --> 00:25:34,200 so I literally I wish I could have recorded I've lived so we 419 00:25:34,200 --> 00:25:40,020 have k u t. FM in in Austin. wishes you pretty it was pretty 420 00:25:40,020 --> 00:25:45,060 funny when you say it in Dutch cuz FM Believe me it's funny in 421 00:25:45,060 --> 00:25:45,390 Dutch 422 00:25:45,420 --> 00:25:46,590 Yeah, I know what it means. 423 00:25:48,210 --> 00:25:52,740 They I heard the host literally say, you know, we look forward 424 00:25:52,740 --> 00:25:56,610 to your sponsorship and if you want the name of your company 425 00:25:56,610 --> 00:26:02,610 read on air only $750. We'll do that. I think that board has 426 00:26:02,610 --> 00:26:03,900 borderlining legal 427 00:26:04,920 --> 00:26:06,060 No, it's not. 428 00:26:06,570 --> 00:26:10,290 And well, first of all, I'm illegal wars. I'm like we charge 429 00:26:10,290 --> 00:26:14,820 50 bucks. We're a good deal. What's this 750 bucks to get 430 00:26:14,820 --> 00:26:18,600 your to get your name mentioned? Crap. A Lola. 431 00:26:19,560 --> 00:26:21,750 Oh, that's only in the local station to which probably has a 432 00:26:21,750 --> 00:26:22,680 smaller audience in 433 00:26:22,890 --> 00:26:28,260 Austin. Austin, can you believe that? I can just use it. Whoa, 434 00:26:28,260 --> 00:26:30,990 honey. I think we shall do that. That'd be good for the hardware 435 00:26:30,990 --> 00:26:36,720 store. We don't have we do have a philharmonic. We do have some 436 00:26:36,720 --> 00:26:41,430 kind of orchestra here. I think the Austin Philharmonic I think 437 00:26:41,430 --> 00:26:42,030 we have that. 438 00:26:42,150 --> 00:26:44,160 Or the ballet Symphony Orchestra. If there's a 439 00:26:44,160 --> 00:26:46,860 Philharmonic, a lot of people don't realize the Philharmonic 440 00:26:47,160 --> 00:26:49,770 is what you name the second band in town. 441 00:26:50,310 --> 00:26:53,610 I think it's a I think we have a symphony Austin symphony. I 442 00:26:53,610 --> 00:26:58,500 don't think it's doing too well. Yeah, awesome. symphony.org 443 00:26:58,770 --> 00:27:04,170 There you go. We do have one. As I said, not doing well though. 444 00:27:04,860 --> 00:27:08,100 No, those bands are hard to maintain that we're there. We're 445 00:27:08,100 --> 00:27:10,920 doing some special limited generally speaking in a good 446 00:27:11,160 --> 00:27:14,490 orchestra like that, or good Symphony Orchestra. Almost 447 00:27:14,490 --> 00:27:19,380 everybody in the band is getting paid over $100,000 a year. Oh, 448 00:27:19,380 --> 00:27:22,530 wow. Really? Yeah. And they sometimes it goes way up in the 449 00:27:22,530 --> 00:27:24,840 end the conductor a good conductor gives two to $5 450 00:27:24,840 --> 00:27:25,140 million 451 00:27:27,060 --> 00:27:29,610 for waving a stick for waving 452 00:27:30,300 --> 00:27:32,970 apparently is a little more to it than that. No bull crap here. 453 00:27:32,970 --> 00:27:41,790 Watch I can do that. There you go. Waving a stick. Kidding me. 454 00:27:42,060 --> 00:27:47,400 Waving is where they make the waving that's why the sound is 455 00:27:47,400 --> 00:27:50,310 so good. If you don't if you can't pay those kinds of that 456 00:27:50,310 --> 00:27:54,120 kind of money, especially for some of these some of these 457 00:27:54,120 --> 00:27:57,840 specialties some of these really talented musicians. You sound 458 00:27:57,840 --> 00:28:01,350 like crap it doesn't take much just 459 00:28:02,820 --> 00:28:05,550 because your stick wavers no good you need a better stick 460 00:28:05,550 --> 00:28:10,140 wave and dude up front that's Oh, wow. Well anyway, we do have 461 00:28:10,350 --> 00:28:14,580 some supporters who who came in lower than your typical a 462 00:28:14,580 --> 00:28:18,330 national treasure donation amounts but at least we do have 463 00:28:18,570 --> 00:28:22,080 some we haven't. We have to what three eggs executive producers 464 00:28:22,080 --> 00:28:24,450 for this program. A bunch of people. This is good. This is 465 00:28:24,450 --> 00:28:25,230 good news. This 466 00:28:25,530 --> 00:28:26,610 should be like, you know, 467 00:28:27,900 --> 00:28:33,120 let me just say one thing, John. Mickey felt so bad for you on 468 00:28:33,120 --> 00:28:38,490 Sunday. Why? Because, you know, I came out and she's like, Oh, 469 00:28:38,490 --> 00:28:41,730 the birthday she's like, Oh my God. I mean, doesn't John really 470 00:28:41,730 --> 00:28:44,790 feel crappy about you know, people not not giving him any 471 00:28:44,790 --> 00:28:49,110 donations for his birthday? And I'm like, No, fuck him. I don't 472 00:28:49,110 --> 00:28:50,640 give a shit if he feels bad 473 00:28:50,670 --> 00:28:54,720 what you should say. So let's thank a few people and starting 474 00:28:54,720 --> 00:29:00,000 with the our buddy up and tie guard to guard or triggered 475 00:29:00,270 --> 00:29:04,830 Oregon depending on your persuasion, sir melon song. Oh, 476 00:29:05,250 --> 00:29:09,810 Michelle, Dwayne melody in the morning, I hereby claim my 477 00:29:09,810 --> 00:29:13,320 territory as the Earl of Oregon united. Now 478 00:29:13,350 --> 00:29:17,520 Yeah, he's he's, he's always giving like eight knighthoods or 479 00:29:17,520 --> 00:29:20,400 something. Yeah, he's he's been a supporter of the show for 480 00:29:20,400 --> 00:29:21,360 years and 481 00:29:21,600 --> 00:29:24,840 years. So he's probably Yeah, Earl Grey, nice. And Earl of 482 00:29:24,840 --> 00:29:27,720 Oregon. It sounds like a winner. By the way, I want to mention to 483 00:29:27,720 --> 00:29:30,450 people out there that these these appearances and 484 00:29:30,450 --> 00:29:33,840 declarations are, they may seem a little silly, but when they 485 00:29:33,840 --> 00:29:37,950 all get put into a book, or posted somewhere or something 486 00:29:38,010 --> 00:29:39,660 some day in the future 487 00:29:39,690 --> 00:29:42,900 Yeah, won't be so it won't be so silly when society collapses and 488 00:29:42,900 --> 00:29:45,240 you've got a piece of paper to show that you own shows that 489 00:29:45,240 --> 00:29:48,180 you're the Earl of Oregon is not going to be so funny then. 490 00:29:49,139 --> 00:29:53,789 I couldn't be you laugh now. That's right. He commemorations 491 00:29:53,789 --> 00:29:58,499 with a $503 donation is 503 is one of the Oregon area codes. 492 00:29:58,889 --> 00:30:02,129 Oh very nice. and he'll be a member of the 503 Club. 493 00:30:02,339 --> 00:30:02,969 Beautiful 494 00:30:03,000 --> 00:30:06,270 Oregon. You can't you can't pump your own gas. This is true when 495 00:30:06,270 --> 00:30:09,150 you go to Oregon they pump your gas for you. Oh, is that against 496 00:30:09,150 --> 00:30:13,710 the law? It's against the law to pump your own gas. It used to be 497 00:30:13,710 --> 00:30:16,350 you know, but they'd always have Eve everywhere around the 498 00:30:16,350 --> 00:30:18,840 country of course when you're when I was a kid service. Yeah, 499 00:30:18,870 --> 00:30:21,690 it's cool. So you drive up, they come running out and they pump 500 00:30:21,690 --> 00:30:25,770 your gas and wash your windows and check your tire and you open 501 00:30:25,770 --> 00:30:28,020 the hood. They check your oil and make sure you have enough 502 00:30:28,020 --> 00:30:31,710 oil in the car. And I'm all and I'm feeling 517 00:31:20,790 --> 00:31:24,960 pretty bummed the driving home I get to the segment of Sunday 518 00:31:24,960 --> 00:31:26,940 show where you guys are discussing the general lack of 519 00:31:26,940 --> 00:31:30,180 donations and listener recognition. John's birthday. I 520 00:31:30,180 --> 00:31:34,020 got such a huge laugh hearing. Adam wish john Happy birthday 521 00:31:34,020 --> 00:31:38,610 with that pathetic and hilarious party horn in the background. I 522 00:31:38,610 --> 00:31:46,500 bet it's a winner. I've gotten so many laughs from the no 523 00:31:46,500 --> 00:31:50,160 agenda show but this might have been the funniest moment and no 524 00:31:50,160 --> 00:31:53,550 agenda history. It brighten my day and I knew I had to donate 525 00:31:53,550 --> 00:31:55,230 Happy belated birthday, John. 526 00:31:55,260 --> 00:31:59,580 You know that. Josh when we moved into the Travis heights 527 00:31:59,580 --> 00:32:06,600 hideout, he sent us a number of four leaf clover bulbs. Bulbs. 528 00:32:06,960 --> 00:32:09,810 Yeah, apparently they're they Well, yeah, they're bulbs. I 529 00:32:09,810 --> 00:32:14,190 didn't know that. They grew in bulbs. And and we've planted 530 00:32:14,190 --> 00:32:16,860 them and yes, four leaf clover bulbs. 531 00:32:17,010 --> 00:32:18,720 Are they big bulbs there? Yeah, 532 00:32:18,720 --> 00:32:23,070 that kind of, well, not huge, but they're little oblong. All 533 00:32:23,070 --> 00:32:26,490 right. I mean, do you have any experience with four leaf clover 534 00:32:26,490 --> 00:32:27,030 bulbs? 535 00:32:27,120 --> 00:32:31,710 I never I thought four leaf clovers were just a mistake. 536 00:32:33,240 --> 00:32:38,760 Apparently, leprechauns sell these on the internet. And and 537 00:32:38,760 --> 00:32:43,620 he sent us a box in dirt. And we planted them and they're 538 00:32:43,620 --> 00:32:47,130 sprouting so we have little sprouts and soon hopefully we'll 539 00:32:47,130 --> 00:32:51,390 see if we have actual four leaf clovers. Ah, yeah, that was so 540 00:32:51,390 --> 00:32:54,000 nice of him to detonate because he lives in California plastic 541 00:32:54,000 --> 00:32:58,230 a little piece of plastic bloom in there. This is some tracking over 601 00:36:33,630 --> 00:36:36,420 the opinion that the art makes the show so that 602 00:36:37,470 --> 00:36:40,470 Yeah, we could just sit here and just blabber for hours, which I 603 00:36:40,470 --> 00:36:44,040 guess we do. As long as the art is good. But well, let me let me 604 00:36:44,040 --> 00:36:48,840 say, I want to thank Nick the rat, for the previous episode 605 00:36:48,840 --> 00:36:52,110 502 for the artwork, that was fantastic. Ah, yes. And what's interesting is that bag 33 art 609 00:37:01,679 --> 00:37:04,529 really looks good as a logo on a letterhead. 610 00:37:04,560 --> 00:37:07,410 So Mickey says to me, she said because she gets the newsletter 611 00:37:07,410 --> 00:37:11,280 she reads, I love the artwork for the bags. When do we get the 612 00:37:11,280 --> 00:37:13,770 bags? I'm like, this is never gonna happen. No, no, it's 613 00:37:13,770 --> 00:37:15,150 happening. We still have a good 619 00:37:34,980 --> 00:37:39,660 700 domain names forwarding to no agenda show.com He registered 620 00:37:39,660 --> 00:37:43,110 guardians of reality.com, which I think is a it's a good one 621 00:37:43,110 --> 00:37:46,260 that might be usable. It's got a little landing page there for 622 00:37:46,260 --> 00:37:49,380 us. And so that is that is highly appreciated Illuminati. 623 00:37:49,680 --> 00:37:53,670 And as John just mentioned, please continue your support of 624 00:37:53,670 --> 00:37:56,190 the best podcast in the universe, we have plenty of 625 00:37:56,190 --> 00:37:59,520 proof that there's reasons for you to do that. Because you just 626 00:37:59,520 --> 00:38:01,950 can't get this kind of deconstruction anywhere else. 627 00:38:02,070 --> 00:38:07,290 vorak.org/n A and of course, besides your monthly 628 00:38:07,290 --> 00:38:10,020 contributions, you can always go out and propagate the formula. 629 00:38:10,080 --> 00:38:14,790 Our formula is this we go out we hit people in the mouth 630 00:38:28,830 --> 00:38:36,990 yay. shouldn't see up and sleeve. Shut up. Okay. Little 631 00:38:37,080 --> 00:38:39,750 Red Book action for a little theory stuff going on. 632 00:38:41,550 --> 00:38:44,130 Little Red Book, you'll need to bring the Red Book in right 633 00:38:44,130 --> 00:38:44,940 start writing in it. 634 00:38:45,390 --> 00:38:47,040 Get it? Get it ready, get it ready. 635 00:38:47,880 --> 00:38:49,920 Ready, got a pen in hand? Okay, this 636 00:38:49,920 --> 00:38:53,940 is about the North Korea hype. First of all, what is the BBC 637 00:38:53,940 --> 00:38:55,530 thinking with this terminology 638 00:38:55,680 --> 00:38:58,650 on the news now in South Korea has raised its alert level ahead 639 00:38:58,650 --> 00:39:01,230 of unexpected North Korean missile launch intelligence 640 00:39:01,230 --> 00:39:04,800 services and so say that the North has prepared to mid range 641 00:39:04,800 --> 00:39:05,430 missiles for 642 00:39:05,430 --> 00:39:08,520 imminent mid range. I love I love newscasters who 643 00:39:08,520 --> 00:39:12,300 Dwayne Dwayne did she is actually working as a talking 644 00:39:12,300 --> 00:39:13,680 head on the BBC and 645 00:39:13,680 --> 00:39:15,060 Midway edge made 646 00:39:15,060 --> 00:39:17,580 Wayne's midway mid range missiles 647 00:39:20,100 --> 00:39:23,670 mean valance even mean beyond mid range. 648 00:39:24,600 --> 00:39:27,540 Mid range missiles for imminent launch despite warnings from 649 00:39:27,540 --> 00:39:30,870 China to avoid provocative verse or North Korea says the 650 00:39:30,870 --> 00:39:34,230 foreigners in the south should leave for their own safety as it 651 00:39:34,230 --> 00:39:38,520 warns that the region inches towards thermal nuclear war 652 00:39:38,760 --> 00:39:42,450 I mean really thermal and nuclear war 653 00:39:43,170 --> 00:39:47,340 well first of all, here's why there's a real one simple flaw 654 00:39:47,340 --> 00:39:54,390 here of course, is thermonuclear is an H bomb. This guy hasn't 655 00:39:54,420 --> 00:39:59,610 built a bomb that can even reach the the the a bomb potential of 656 00:39:59,610 --> 00:40:04,500 the hero Oshima bomb, so there's no chance unless we threw an H 657 00:40:04,500 --> 00:40:06,990 bomb back at him, which we wouldn't do and they're not 658 00:40:06,990 --> 00:40:09,840 going to drop a bomb anyway, so this is like, very 659 00:40:09,840 --> 00:40:10,800 irresponsible. 660 00:40:11,190 --> 00:40:15,300 It's not just irresponsible, it is wrong. It is just wrong. And 661 00:40:15,300 --> 00:40:17,970 then you take into account that the woman can't even pronounce 662 00:40:17,970 --> 00:40:21,630 her R's for my new Korea boss bones 663 00:40:21,630 --> 00:40:25,530 that the region we have towards thermo nuclear war 664 00:40:26,970 --> 00:40:31,590 at a war. Okay, so there's a little meme that cropped up that 665 00:40:31,590 --> 00:40:34,320 I didn't catch it at first, but then after I started hearing it, 666 00:40:34,320 --> 00:40:38,520 come back and back and I'll play two clips where this meme crops 667 00:40:38,520 --> 00:40:40,170 up. I think I know what's gonna happen. 668 00:40:40,680 --> 00:40:43,590 First, we have alarming new video coming out of North Korea 669 00:40:43,590 --> 00:40:46,740 to show you take a look at this. See missiles being fired on 670 00:40:46,770 --> 00:40:49,920 North Korea's Coast. The secretive regime released this 671 00:40:49,920 --> 00:40:53,730 video yesterday. Now we don't know if these missiles are real. 672 00:40:53,730 --> 00:40:56,760 They may have even been photoshopped. But a US official 673 00:40:56,760 --> 00:41:00,210 says to medium range missiles have been loaded onto launchers 674 00:41:00,240 --> 00:41:02,250 on North Korea's east coast. 675 00:41:02,250 --> 00:41:06,630 Okay, so officials official say to not one but two. 676 00:41:07,319 --> 00:41:09,839 Pilots talk North Korea the situation with North Korea 677 00:41:09,839 --> 00:41:12,479 getting even more tense in just the past hour. There is a new 678 00:41:12,479 --> 00:41:15,119 intelligence out there that North Korea could be planning 679 00:41:15,119 --> 00:41:19,319 multiple missile launches at any moment. On top of expectations, 680 00:41:19,319 --> 00:41:22,589 Pyongyang plans to test fire to mobile missiles from the 681 00:41:22,710 --> 00:41:26,340 East Coast okay, too. So there's they're pushing this to thing. 682 00:41:27,330 --> 00:41:32,100 And, of course, there's no message from the K N AC the 683 00:41:32,100 --> 00:41:36,300 Pyongyang News Agency that says hello here's two missiles 684 00:41:36,330 --> 00:41:40,050 there's not this not true. I mean, you can go look they have 685 00:41:40,050 --> 00:41:43,620 an English version is not I also didn't see any video shooting 686 00:41:43,620 --> 00:41:45,840 stuff at the coast. But okay, it doesn't matter. I check this 687 00:41:45,840 --> 00:41:47,100 stuff, cuz I'm just taking 688 00:41:49,560 --> 00:41:55,650 Uber goon with his binoculars. Yeah, where it goes like it's 689 00:41:55,650 --> 00:41:56,880 always looking through binoculars. 690 00:41:56,910 --> 00:41:59,220 So here's what I think is going to happen. At the same time. Of 691 00:41:59,220 --> 00:42:05,790 course, we have Japan preparing for incoming missiles. Here's 692 00:42:05,790 --> 00:42:08,580 what I think we're going to see we're going to see a launch. Now 693 00:42:08,580 --> 00:42:12,810 we've already established there will be two missiles, we will 694 00:42:12,810 --> 00:42:16,980 see a launch and one will either be shot out of the air by a 695 00:42:16,980 --> 00:42:22,380 patriot or will just explode or just disintegrate. Because I 696 00:42:22,410 --> 00:42:25,530 will assert that Kim Jong Hoon is on our side. And he's just 697 00:42:25,530 --> 00:42:29,790 doing what we tell him to do. But I think we will find the 698 00:42:29,790 --> 00:42:35,400 second warhead. In Japan, let's say Okinawa is an example, that 699 00:42:35,430 --> 00:42:39,450 on the undetonated we will put this in the book we will find 700 00:42:39,480 --> 00:42:43,080 the second warhead and we'll be like, Wow, man, we're really 701 00:42:43,080 --> 00:42:47,310 lucky we we dodged the bullet, but we will find it it will be 702 00:42:47,310 --> 00:42:51,630 nuclear. And this will be the impetus or the the accelerant 703 00:42:51,630 --> 00:42:56,850 for some type of action. There's no other reason to be hyping two 704 00:42:56,850 --> 00:42:57,570 missiles. 705 00:42:59,340 --> 00:43:01,650 Yeah, it's an interesting theory, because of 706 00:43:01,650 --> 00:43:04,080 course, they only going to shoot one but then we'll say well, but 707 00:43:04,080 --> 00:43:07,170 he shot the second one and it Oh, it was a dud in Atlanta. 708 00:43:10,290 --> 00:43:14,130 This thing washed up on the beach. Hey, Betty, what's this 709 00:43:14,130 --> 00:43:18,570 thing washed up on the beach? I'll call call the call the MPs? 710 00:43:18,570 --> 00:43:19,710 Maybe they know what it is 711 00:43:22,260 --> 00:43:28,590 telling you to do it. And Holy Cow Holy crap. I mean, I've just 712 00:43:28,590 --> 00:43:32,400 been doing so much work. I hope people appreciate this. We were 713 00:43:32,400 --> 00:43:33,840 listening to the Vice President. 714 00:43:35,550 --> 00:43:36,450 It's a lot of work. 715 00:43:37,470 --> 00:43:40,770 Because I had to go back and listen to it again. The Vice 716 00:43:40,770 --> 00:43:44,730 President waxing poetic. Remember his New World Order 717 00:43:44,730 --> 00:43:50,400 thing his whole what we need is a prevent a pre Oh, well, I have 718 00:43:50,400 --> 00:43:55,740 the clip here about new the new world order. And then he 719 00:43:55,740 --> 00:43:58,800 mentioned something in here that we went like what is that about? 720 00:43:59,700 --> 00:44:07,860 The affirmative task we have now is, is to actually create a new 721 00:44:07,890 --> 00:44:12,480 world order. Because the global order is changing again. And 722 00:44:12,480 --> 00:44:16,230 institutions that a rule doesn't work so well, in the post world 723 00:44:16,230 --> 00:44:19,830 war two era for decades. They need to be strengthened now by 724 00:44:19,830 --> 00:44:22,620 some has to be changed. Pay attention. So we have to do what 725 00:44:22,620 --> 00:44:27,240 we do best. We have to leave, we have to leave. We have to update 726 00:44:27,240 --> 00:44:29,970 the global rules of the road. We have to we have to do it in a 727 00:44:29,970 --> 00:44:33,720 way to maximize benefits for everyone. Because obviously it's 728 00:44:33,750 --> 00:44:36,570 overwhelmingly in our interest. This is not a zero sum game. 729 00:44:36,570 --> 00:44:43,110 It's overwhelming our interest that China prosper that Mongolia 730 00:44:43,530 --> 00:44:47,130 prosper their nations big and large. 731 00:44:47,190 --> 00:44:50,220 So he went China prosper and Mongolia prosper and 732 00:44:50,220 --> 00:44:53,640 then we've spotted this Mongolia thing when you played that the 733 00:44:53,640 --> 00:44:54,570 last time that's 734 00:44:55,050 --> 00:44:58,980 up well, that's why I'm playing it again, John, because yeah, of 735 00:44:58,980 --> 00:45:02,100 course I did. Why is it why would I torture you with Oh 736 00:45:02,100 --> 00:45:04,230 Biden talking about the new world order if I didn't have 737 00:45:04,230 --> 00:45:09,510 something? Mongolia is the world's fifth fastest growing 738 00:45:09,540 --> 00:45:16,710 economy. And we now have the Ninja miners in Mongolia. Who 739 00:45:16,740 --> 00:45:24,630 are finding gold everywhere apparently. What Yeah. Yep ninja 740 00:45:24,630 --> 00:45:28,200 miners who are called that because they look like when they 741 00:45:28,200 --> 00:45:33,240 take their their panning their gold pans up to the to the to 742 00:45:33,240 --> 00:45:37,410 the rivers to Japan they look like turtles oppose a gold rush 743 00:45:37,410 --> 00:45:43,530 the gold rush in Mongolia? Ah, yeah, they got like huge nuggets 744 00:45:43,530 --> 00:45:47,370 popping out there. 60,000 Ninja miners get 745 00:45:47,370 --> 00:45:51,150 this straight. So we have an area here, China, Mongolia. This 746 00:45:51,150 --> 00:45:51,450 old. 747 00:45:52,230 --> 00:45:54,840 Mongolia is kind of like it kind of plopped in the middle there. 748 00:45:54,840 --> 00:45:55,710 Yeah, yeah. 749 00:45:55,890 --> 00:46:01,080 That's been populated with the human settlements. For what? 750 00:46:02,010 --> 00:46:03,540 100,000 years? 751 00:46:03,540 --> 00:46:04,320 God knows. Yeah, 752 00:46:04,350 --> 00:46:08,100 now they're finding gold. Are you kidding me? 753 00:46:08,160 --> 00:46:10,470 I'm just reading what the Washington Post says. 754 00:46:11,460 --> 00:46:12,270 Some sketchy. 755 00:46:12,300 --> 00:46:16,230 So here we got we got well, also. So if you read their top 756 00:46:16,230 --> 00:46:20,100 five reasons why Mongolia is interesting. And this comes out 757 00:46:20,100 --> 00:46:23,610 when Biden says it and this guy. We know Biden can't keep his 758 00:46:23,610 --> 00:46:27,180 trap shut. This. We know this. He's always giving it away. He's 759 00:46:27,180 --> 00:46:31,680 like the tell. He is the tell. So number one is they say the 760 00:46:31,680 --> 00:46:38,160 ninjas. Who, let's see, they are actually dragging down the real 761 00:46:38,160 --> 00:46:40,800 mining economy because there's so many of them. Number two, 762 00:46:40,800 --> 00:46:44,670 they're becoming too dependent on China, which could be 763 00:46:44,670 --> 00:46:48,690 interesting and that we may want to break them off from Chinese 764 00:46:48,690 --> 00:46:54,390 rule. But this is really about the, the the mines, and I'm 765 00:46:54,390 --> 00:47:01,170 sure, I guess. And maybe we have mining interests in Mongolia. 766 00:47:01,440 --> 00:47:06,060 If we have mining interests, it would be in rare earths. Now, I 767 00:47:06,060 --> 00:47:10,650 would think that if you run into a mineral rich area, and gold is 768 00:47:10,680 --> 00:47:13,710 something of an indicator, at least some minerals are there. 769 00:47:14,220 --> 00:47:17,550 And we know that China, the Chinese, the whole of that 770 00:47:17,550 --> 00:47:20,910 region has lots of rare earth elements, which is what you need 771 00:47:20,910 --> 00:47:25,800 for modern technology for your iPhone. And we do and we also 772 00:47:25,800 --> 00:47:28,080 know facts are gonna bring I guess they're gonna bring that 773 00:47:28,140 --> 00:47:30,420 an asteroid into orbit you know about this? 774 00:47:30,450 --> 00:47:33,630 And well, like I told you, right, everyone laughed at my 775 00:47:33,630 --> 00:47:34,890 tractor beam theory 776 00:47:35,549 --> 00:47:37,349 was they're gonna use a rope I believe. 777 00:47:39,570 --> 00:47:41,010 A chain of bitcoins 778 00:47:41,730 --> 00:47:45,240 they're gonna bring an asteroid and this is that this NASA doing 779 00:47:45,240 --> 00:47:47,520 this is not like you know, it's not this is not done by the 780 00:47:47,520 --> 00:47:48,510 Google boys. I'm sure there 781 00:47:48,540 --> 00:47:51,780 are no no they put out a contract for it NASA is put out 782 00:47:51,780 --> 00:47:53,280 an award contract 783 00:47:53,310 --> 00:47:56,280 contract deal. Okay, so that means that SpaceX or any of 784 00:47:56,280 --> 00:47:57,840 these guys are the guys 785 00:47:57,840 --> 00:48:00,660 who already tried to bring in the Russian media and failed and 786 00:48:00,660 --> 00:48:01,380 it blew up. 787 00:48:01,980 --> 00:48:04,680 So they're gonna bring in this is a small one, this is only one 788 00:48:04,680 --> 00:48:10,740 mile. Okay. And they believe that if it if they screw up, 789 00:48:10,740 --> 00:48:14,400 which I I mean, I know they can do the math to make these things 790 00:48:14,400 --> 00:48:16,800 actually work. But there's always some gotcha that didn't 791 00:48:16,860 --> 00:48:20,070 take into account, but it wouldn't. But let's just say it 792 00:48:20,070 --> 00:48:23,220 screws up and the asteroid has been flung toward the earth 793 00:48:23,220 --> 00:48:25,800 and you want it to go into Mongolia, basically. 794 00:48:27,480 --> 00:48:29,310 Well, that might be an interesting theory. I didn't 795 00:48:29,310 --> 00:48:31,770 even think of that. Well, we don't want you want a Mongolian 796 00:48:31,770 --> 00:48:35,370 blow up to place and then the abilities miners just scour, I 797 00:48:35,370 --> 00:48:38,490 think is apparently what the calculation on this asteroid 798 00:48:38,760 --> 00:48:41,460 what will be left if it hits the Earth's atmosphere, which you 799 00:48:41,460 --> 00:48:45,210 don't want, because it'll be a great display, and you get a 800 00:48:45,210 --> 00:48:46,200 bowling ball. 801 00:48:46,830 --> 00:48:48,690 That's all. Really Yes, a 802 00:48:48,690 --> 00:48:52,590 bowling ball sized item. Yeah, that's how big an asteroid has 803 00:48:52,590 --> 00:48:55,500 to be made. You had to imagine things that has to be really 804 00:48:55,500 --> 00:48:58,470 huge to do any serious damage, but the bowling ball itself will 805 00:48:58,470 --> 00:49:02,430 be like 10 A bombs you know, just boom, right? Because it'd 806 00:49:02,430 --> 00:49:04,260 be coming into some ridiculous speed 807 00:49:04,290 --> 00:49:06,780 again, Mongolia good place for that to happen. 808 00:49:07,140 --> 00:49:09,930 That'd be interesting. Well, that would definitely because 809 00:49:09,930 --> 00:49:12,780 right now you can't go in there with you know, you can't be an 810 00:49:12,780 --> 00:49:15,180 American company with a bunch of dynamite and goblets are blown 811 00:49:15,210 --> 00:49:20,700 up Mongolia to get that the rare rare earth minerals. Anyway, 812 00:49:20,970 --> 00:49:22,530 okay, well, a lot of interesting stuff. 813 00:49:22,560 --> 00:49:25,380 Well, so. But I guess the point is something happening with 814 00:49:25,380 --> 00:49:29,970 Mongolia. Oh Biden meant is it next was China, Mongolia and 815 00:49:29,970 --> 00:49:33,120 then other countries big and large. Remember that other 816 00:49:33,120 --> 00:49:39,150 countries big enlarge. What an idiot. But for him to say 817 00:49:39,150 --> 00:49:41,550 dimension Mongolia. There's something going on. 818 00:49:42,960 --> 00:49:47,520 Over the years. He's always been a tell he is such an awe. And 819 00:49:47,520 --> 00:49:50,370 with this. He just says all these casual things. And if you 820 00:49:50,370 --> 00:49:52,680 just look every one of them up is something that's he just got 821 00:49:52,680 --> 00:49:55,350 out of a meeting where they were talking about Mongolia. 822 00:49:58,050 --> 00:50:05,280 Mongolia, China, Mongolia. Yeah, Reynold. In fact, he is the one 823 00:50:05,280 --> 00:50:08,760 that tipped me off to the this war on crazy that's going on, I 824 00:50:08,760 --> 00:50:13,320 guess. I guess we're gonna get some legislation, an amendment 825 00:50:13,320 --> 00:50:17,100 passed today in the United States of Gitmo nation, which 826 00:50:17,430 --> 00:50:20,280 will have very little to do. And this is kind of what's, what's 827 00:50:20,280 --> 00:50:25,200 fascinating is that the news media that pretends that have 828 00:50:25,200 --> 00:50:27,840 the press cards and everything and the jackets with the big CNN 829 00:50:27,840 --> 00:50:30,630 logo on it. So they're all running around saying, Well, 830 00:50:30,630 --> 00:50:33,990 this is a failure, you know, this. Obama is getting nothing. 831 00:50:33,990 --> 00:50:40,830 He's getting no ban on assault weapons he's getting no, no, no, 832 00:50:40,830 --> 00:50:44,760 no ban on magazine clips, magazine clips, because they 833 00:50:44,760 --> 00:50:48,840 can't just say it properly. It's all magazine clips. And all all 834 00:50:48,840 --> 00:50:53,310 this is about is some kind of universal background check. And 835 00:50:53,310 --> 00:50:57,780 I of course, have a looked into exactly what this legislation 836 00:50:57,780 --> 00:51:02,880 is, is based to think on Senate Bill 374 known as and we don't 837 00:51:02,880 --> 00:51:07,830 actually have the full text yet. But it's also it's known as the 838 00:51:08,430 --> 00:51:14,730 fix gun checks act of 2013. But perhaps we should just have a 839 00:51:14,730 --> 00:51:20,280 little spin around the dial. Here in in in Gitmo nation, 840 00:51:20,280 --> 00:51:24,660 United States, to hear the barrage of crap that has just 841 00:51:24,660 --> 00:51:29,490 been allotted over us for the past 72 hours. It's just it's 842 00:51:29,490 --> 00:51:33,420 been super, super annoying. And of course, this really isn't 843 00:51:33,420 --> 00:51:36,300 about guns at all. But let's just listen to some of the lies. 844 00:51:36,300 --> 00:51:40,200 Here's a Christiana Amanpour, who I used to regard quite 845 00:51:40,200 --> 00:51:45,060 highly, really, yeah. And I thought she was in the red in 846 00:51:45,060 --> 00:51:50,250 the Desert Storm. The original Gulf War. No, she had a thing 847 00:51:50,250 --> 00:51:53,760 going on. And she felt kind of religious. Yeah. But then she 848 00:51:53,820 --> 00:51:56,550 she sold out. And she went to ABC and failed there. And now 849 00:51:56,550 --> 00:51:58,830 she's back and and listen to this live. 850 00:51:59,400 --> 00:52:01,770 I mean, this debate has been going on for a long time. The 851 00:52:01,770 --> 00:52:05,040 fact of the matter is that in states insider states, when 852 00:52:05,760 --> 00:52:08,100 you talk to over it's all played again. I knew you're gonna do 853 00:52:08,100 --> 00:52:08,640 that. Here we go. 854 00:52:09,210 --> 00:52:11,580 I mean, this debate has been going on for a long time. The 855 00:52:11,580 --> 00:52:14,640 fact of the matter is that in states inside the United States 856 00:52:14,640 --> 00:52:18,570 where there are tougher gun laws, there is lower gun crime. 857 00:52:19,470 --> 00:52:22,320 Really? Have you looked 858 00:52:22,320 --> 00:52:28,710 at Chicago? Fact, facts, he says fact of the matter. In states 859 00:52:28,710 --> 00:52:32,790 with tougher gun laws, there is lower gun crime. That is that is 860 00:52:32,790 --> 00:52:36,120 a blatant lie. Yes, that's a long 861 00:52:36,120 --> 00:52:39,240 time. The fact of the matter is that in states inside the United 862 00:52:39,240 --> 00:52:43,050 States where there are tougher gun laws, there is lower gun 863 00:52:43,050 --> 00:52:46,260 crime. We know that Thursday is going to be the real showdown 864 00:52:46,260 --> 00:52:50,820 day in the US Capitol to see how the Congress reacts. Newtown 865 00:52:50,820 --> 00:52:54,150 families are there they've been talking about it. And they're 866 00:52:54,150 --> 00:52:57,660 very committed to sensible gun control. 867 00:52:57,690 --> 00:53:02,580 Ah, okay, here we go. Common Sense sensible facts? Common 868 00:53:02,580 --> 00:53:07,320 Sense, sensible. Okay. Let's listen to some common sense 869 00:53:07,320 --> 00:53:13,410 things. This is Senator min chin mentioned, I think, who 870 00:53:13,710 --> 00:53:16,350 yesterday I believe announced that to all looks like we got 871 00:53:16,350 --> 00:53:19,260 some kind of deal. And he really took it to an extreme end 872 00:53:19,260 --> 00:53:22,650 with the Senate and House, hopefully passing these common 873 00:53:22,650 --> 00:53:25,770 sense measures. And the President said I love 874 00:53:25,770 --> 00:53:28,380 that he says measures by the way, that kind of made me feel 875 00:53:28,380 --> 00:53:31,140 good. I'm like, oh, maybe he's a no agenda guy after all, but 876 00:53:32,100 --> 00:53:35,520 measures, and the President signing it into law. Back home 877 00:53:35,520 --> 00:53:38,040 where I come from, we have common sense. 878 00:53:38,070 --> 00:53:43,860 We have nonsense. Now. We have gotten sense. Oh, thank you. We 879 00:53:43,860 --> 00:53:47,160 have common sense. We got nonsense, and we got gun sense. 880 00:53:47,160 --> 00:53:50,850 All right. Now let's listen to some of the nonsense. You know, 881 00:53:50,850 --> 00:53:54,690 when Joe Biden to us, he was up there talking about the facts. 882 00:53:54,690 --> 00:53:58,380 And of course, he had to really Telegraph that this is one big 883 00:53:58,410 --> 00:53:59,970 magic number scam. 884 00:54:02,250 --> 00:54:10,230 And the past 113 days since Sandy Hook 3300 People have died 885 00:54:10,230 --> 00:54:12,600 at the end of a gun and you've witnessed it. 886 00:54:13,110 --> 00:54:16,260 It's amazing. That number just pops up this how did we get the 887 00:54:16,260 --> 00:54:17,760 33 worked in there just 888 00:54:17,790 --> 00:54:21,450 I don't know how they got 33 worked in there. lievable but 889 00:54:21,480 --> 00:54:23,640 you know, makes listening Joe say it makes sure you say it 890 00:54:23,640 --> 00:54:26,070 twice. So they know that it's that you're telegraphing the 891 00:54:26,070 --> 00:54:27,510 magic number two, or you've witnessed 892 00:54:27,510 --> 00:54:31,470 the aftermath of it. I have the cream of the crop and the 893 00:54:31,470 --> 00:54:37,980 nation's law enforcement in this room today. You could cite for 894 00:54:37,980 --> 00:54:43,770 me what's happened in your jurisdictions in the last 113 895 00:54:43,770 --> 00:54:46,590 days, 3300 896 00:54:46,620 --> 00:54:50,610 Thank you, Joe. Thank you, so I'll make sure I heard it. 3300 897 00:54:50,850 --> 00:54:55,050 then we had our favorite person from Texas. I'm sorry. 898 00:54:55,530 --> 00:54:58,260 Just steal it every time we hear this 33 We've been talking about 899 00:54:58,260 --> 00:55:02,100 this for five years and we Don't know what the code actually 900 00:55:02,100 --> 00:55:05,820 means. It's a specific meaning unless it's just a casual 901 00:55:05,820 --> 00:55:06,840 reference that this is 902 00:55:06,900 --> 00:55:11,100 billed as bullcrap. Either way. So here's Sheila Jackson Lee, 903 00:55:11,130 --> 00:55:14,490 ah, I thought she was done it wasn't she out. I thought her 904 00:55:14,490 --> 00:55:17,220 term was ended or over or she was quitting or 905 00:55:17,310 --> 00:55:20,490 Congresswoman, it keeps getting reelected by the idiots in her 906 00:55:20,490 --> 00:55:21,090 area, 907 00:55:21,960 --> 00:55:26,610 which is Dallas. I'm sure that not Austin. 908 00:55:28,860 --> 00:55:31,770 God, so I believe we are no longer at the point where we can 909 00:55:31,770 --> 00:55:37,770 have sermons, or we can mourn, and yet not do something. Let me 910 00:55:37,890 --> 00:55:41,670 think, I think applaud is not the appropriate terminology. 911 00:55:43,410 --> 00:55:49,050 You got to listen to this Roman. Let me thank. It's like, there's 912 00:55:49,050 --> 00:55:53,130 a way that this woman talks where she, I think that I have 913 00:55:53,130 --> 00:55:59,730 to use the common language of the sensibilities to under 914 00:55:59,730 --> 00:56:04,710 justified to be make sure that I sound like I am talking to the 915 00:56:04,740 --> 00:56:08,490 electorate of the officiating parties who liked 916 00:56:08,790 --> 00:56:13,020 sounds like, like a parody of a parody of of a black person from 917 00:56:13,020 --> 00:56:16,140 the 1800s. Yes, it's an embarrassment. 918 00:56:16,200 --> 00:56:16,890 Listen, 919 00:56:17,220 --> 00:56:20,520 those parents who flew on Air Force One, from Newtown, 920 00:56:20,520 --> 00:56:24,210 Connecticut, you can imagine that they are hurting. Tears 921 00:56:24,210 --> 00:56:28,230 came to my eyes as I saw them, the plane come down off of those 922 00:56:29,250 --> 00:56:32,010 out of the Air Force One, knowing that they are still 923 00:56:32,010 --> 00:56:35,400 hurting. I heard a quote that said, for some of us, it's 924 00:56:35,400 --> 00:56:40,230 months. For those parents. It's one day at a time to imagine 925 00:56:40,410 --> 00:56:44,280 little ones five and six years old, whose bodies were riddled, 926 00:56:44,280 --> 00:56:48,690 riddled, and they are here on the hallways of Congress there 927 00:56:48,690 --> 00:56:53,310 on the hallways to be able to ask us, can we do the right 928 00:56:53,310 --> 00:56:57,210 thing that is for the American people? Oh, and I want to answer 929 00:56:57,210 --> 00:57:00,120 today. All right, a question that I raised. I want to 930 00:57:00,120 --> 00:57:03,930 ask a question that I raised. She wants to answer a question 931 00:57:03,930 --> 00:57:04,290 she, 932 00:57:04,800 --> 00:57:09,480 Oh, can we stop the filibuster? Can we resolve the fact that 933 00:57:09,480 --> 00:57:12,570 sir, that was everyone's talking about the filibuster and blah, 934 00:57:12,960 --> 00:57:14,070 gun legislation 935 00:57:14,220 --> 00:57:18,990 defensible? Wait a minute, defensible a glance legislation, 936 00:57:19,560 --> 00:57:24,360 dissolve the fact that sensible gun legislation does not violate 937 00:57:24,420 --> 00:57:27,960 the Second Amendment. And in fact, we protect the Second 938 00:57:27,960 --> 00:57:31,440 Amendment. No one has challenged the Second Amendment. No one has 939 00:57:31,440 --> 00:57:35,520 challenged concealed permits for concealed weapons that are in 940 00:57:35,520 --> 00:57:39,450 many states but we have said that the tragedy that occurred 941 00:57:39,450 --> 00:57:44,100 in Arizona was someone was using an automatic weapon and had 942 00:57:44,100 --> 00:57:45,060 multiple rounds 943 00:57:45,090 --> 00:57:48,390 an automatic weapon John. Oh, this is new. 944 00:57:49,020 --> 00:57:52,620 I didn't know you could have an automatic weapon don't sell them 945 00:57:52,680 --> 00:57:53,310 he was 946 00:57:53,310 --> 00:57:54,360 an automatic weapon 947 00:57:54,360 --> 00:57:58,410 I heard automatic weapon automatic weapon automatic. Now 948 00:57:58,410 --> 00:58:01,380 she doesn't even know what an automatic weapon well apparently 949 00:58:01,380 --> 00:58:04,410 the Guyana machine gun is what she said apparently the current 950 00:58:04,410 --> 00:58:06,000 army gun of some sort. Apparently 951 00:58:06,000 --> 00:58:10,440 the President is using the same talking points equal t 952 00:58:10,470 --> 00:58:11,040 multiplayer 953 00:58:11,070 --> 00:58:12,570 last night at a no cameras 954 00:58:12,570 --> 00:58:15,780 allowed democratic fundraiser in San Francisco President Obama 955 00:58:15,780 --> 00:58:19,320 misstated the kind of weapon used in the Sandy Hook shooting 956 00:58:19,350 --> 00:58:22,050 advocating for stricter gun control the President said 957 00:58:22,050 --> 00:58:25,650 quote, it is possible for us to create common sense gun safety 958 00:58:25,650 --> 00:58:28,500 measures that respect the traditions of gun ownership in 959 00:58:28,500 --> 00:58:31,110 this country and hunters and sportsmen but also make sure 960 00:58:31,110 --> 00:58:34,140 that we don't have another 20 children in a classroom gunned 961 00:58:34,140 --> 00:58:38,070 down by a semi automatic weapon by a fully automatic weapon in 962 00:58:38,070 --> 00:58:42,750 that case, sadly. So we actually corrected himself and said fully 963 00:58:42,750 --> 00:58:43,290 automatic 964 00:58:43,709 --> 00:58:47,909 so he corrected himself wrong Yeah, and said fully honestly 965 00:58:47,909 --> 00:58:50,699 said actually said the right thing, although it wasn't true 966 00:58:50,699 --> 00:58:53,969 because we know now that the guy only used the pistols, right? I 967 00:58:53,969 --> 00:58:55,559 mean, which by the way, seems to get 968 00:58:55,890 --> 00:59:01,080 well are well, you know, so there's this weird without 969 00:59:01,080 --> 00:59:04,290 really getting into it. There's a discrepancy here that really 970 00:59:04,290 --> 00:59:05,790 is bothering me and listen to the 971 00:59:05,850 --> 00:59:09,840 today Connecticut's governor signed a tough new gun control 972 00:59:09,840 --> 00:59:13,800 law parents who lost children at Sandy Hook Elementary School 973 00:59:14,040 --> 00:59:17,670 stood behind Dan Malloy, as he signed the bipartisan bill 974 00:59:17,670 --> 00:59:21,540 passed late last night. It expands an assault weapons ban 975 00:59:21,750 --> 00:59:25,920 requires background checks for all gun purchases and limits 976 00:59:25,920 --> 00:59:29,640 ammunition magazines to 10 rounds. The Sandy Hook killer 977 00:59:29,640 --> 00:59:36,030 murdered 21st graders and six educators firing 154 rounds in 978 00:59:36,030 --> 00:59:39,270 four minutes using 30 round magazines. 979 00:59:39,300 --> 00:59:42,840 Okay, so first of all, we know that according to the evidence 980 00:59:42,840 --> 00:59:47,700 fact that he did not empty the magazines because that was part 981 00:59:47,700 --> 00:59:52,620 of his gaming training that he deal with just reload whenever I 982 00:59:52,620 --> 00:59:56,310 guess he had riddled some of the children so he did not pay in 983 00:59:56,310 --> 01:00:02,070 order to empty 154 rounds and form If you let's just presume 984 01:00:02,070 --> 01:00:06,810 that he did have a semi automatic rifle, which he didn't 985 01:00:06,810 --> 01:00:10,050 he had handguns but okay, let's just go back and listen to the 986 01:00:10,050 --> 01:00:14,520 why that would mean he would have to have reloaded at least 987 01:00:14,550 --> 01:00:21,540 four times to reach 254 probably five or six times a new new 988 01:00:21,540 --> 01:00:24,960 magazine for no good reason. Yep. So that would have been six 989 01:00:24,990 --> 01:00:28,710 but in four minute like the dry fire apparently. So but you 990 01:00:28,710 --> 01:00:32,760 know, where's this statistic coming from this 154 rounds in 991 01:00:32,760 --> 01:00:36,630 four minutes. This is coming from lie never heard it. Yeah. 992 01:00:36,630 --> 01:00:38,640 Now this has been bandied about quite a bit. Now. Even the 993 01:00:38,640 --> 01:00:39,420 president said 994 01:00:39,450 --> 01:00:42,270 the four minutes the under five minutes somebody have a 995 01:00:42,270 --> 01:00:44,700 stopwatch on this thing, apparently, ya know, they've 996 01:00:44,700 --> 01:00:48,810 got all of this information, all of this. The only thing we don't 997 01:00:48,810 --> 01:00:51,030 have is any, like pictures or evidence or 998 01:00:51,690 --> 01:00:54,630 anything. Well, I've got a couple of gun related things I 999 01:00:54,630 --> 01:00:55,680 want to discuss. Okay, cuz 1000 01:00:55,680 --> 01:00:58,500 I do want to get to the to the crazy part. But you want to do 1001 01:00:58,500 --> 01:00:59,700 the gun. Let's do 1002 01:00:59,700 --> 01:01:02,070 this first, because I just want to throw this in. So everyone 1003 01:01:02,070 --> 01:01:05,160 has this before we continue. Okay, so we have it out of the 1004 01:01:05,160 --> 01:01:10,080 way. Yeah. So I'm watching the nation's treasure. The 1005 01:01:11,040 --> 01:01:12,810 nation's treasure. Yes, Glenn. 1006 01:01:13,680 --> 01:01:16,710 So they have a thing on guns and violent. I'm sorry. 1007 01:01:17,399 --> 01:01:18,269 Glen Eiffel. 1008 01:01:19,440 --> 01:01:23,400 Glen. Glen. Glen Eiffel. Obama's buddy. 1009 01:01:26,940 --> 01:01:28,710 What's she hosting? Glen? Glen Eiffel. 1010 01:01:29,730 --> 01:01:32,370 I think it was Glenn I did this interview with with Paul 1011 01:01:32,370 --> 01:01:35,070 Barrett, they figure they're gonna get this guy out there as 1012 01:01:35,070 --> 01:01:38,700 a New York Times best seller Glock, the rise of America's 1013 01:01:38,700 --> 01:01:42,510 gun, and which is his book. And so they I don't think they 1014 01:01:42,510 --> 01:01:46,350 expected him to come out of the blue by giving us some very 1015 01:01:46,380 --> 01:01:48,090 interesting statistics. 1016 01:01:48,570 --> 01:01:53,370 Well, I think there as with many social issues, there's a 1017 01:01:53,730 --> 01:01:57,720 downside and an upside. And obviously, we've got far too 1018 01:01:57,720 --> 01:02:01,050 much gun violence. In the inner cities, we have far too much gun 1019 01:02:01,050 --> 01:02:05,070 violence in other segments of society. But it's also important 1020 01:02:05,070 --> 01:02:09,270 to put on the table and to think about as we analyze how to move 1021 01:02:09,270 --> 01:02:12,780 forward, the fact that, in the aggregate, actually, gun 1022 01:02:12,780 --> 01:02:17,370 violence is going down sharply, and has been going down since 1023 01:02:17,370 --> 01:02:23,100 the early 1990s. Violent crime overall in this country is at 1024 01:02:23,100 --> 01:02:28,320 about half the rate that it was in 1980. And big cities, though, 1025 01:02:28,320 --> 01:02:32,850 they still do have pockets of terrible violence, and social 1026 01:02:32,850 --> 01:02:36,480 dysfunction, overall, are actually safer today than they 1027 01:02:36,480 --> 01:02:37,890 were 20 years ago. And is that 1028 01:02:38,190 --> 01:02:39,420 why that's happening? 1029 01:02:40,710 --> 01:02:44,310 Well, it's, there's a great deal of debate over that. Okay. 1030 01:02:45,900 --> 01:02:48,990 Now you have to listen to there's a great deal of debate 1031 01:02:48,990 --> 01:02:51,660 over that. And they leave out one kind of an interesting stat, 1032 01:02:51,660 --> 01:02:54,690 which I'll reveal after they're done with their little, you 1033 01:02:54,690 --> 01:02:57,240 know, God would what would we get it? Well, how can we explain 1034 01:02:57,240 --> 01:02:59,640 this? How do I explain this? There's got to be some way of 1035 01:02:59,640 --> 01:03:00,390 explaining it, 1036 01:03:00,900 --> 01:03:05,700 of explaining why it's why the why it's gone down You mean or 1037 01:03:06,090 --> 01:03:10,050 down to an extreme? Do I get to guess so I'll listen. First of 1038 01:03:10,050 --> 01:03:10,380 all, listen, 1039 01:03:10,560 --> 01:03:13,470 there's a great deal of debate over that. It is almost 1040 01:03:13,470 --> 01:03:17,760 certainly not any one factor. determining why crime levels 1041 01:03:17,760 --> 01:03:20,940 shift is a very, very difficult challenge for social scientists. 1042 01:03:22,140 --> 01:03:27,120 The ingredients probably include problem higher rate of 1043 01:03:27,120 --> 01:03:30,960 incarceration, which has been very pronounced over the last 1044 01:03:30,960 --> 01:03:36,330 couple of decades, shifts in police practices, targeting 1045 01:03:36,330 --> 01:03:39,330 certain neighborhoods where there's a lot of violence as 1046 01:03:39,330 --> 01:03:43,440 opposed to just kind of randomly patrolling the streets, and also 1047 01:03:43,440 --> 01:03:47,550 improvements in certain cities, in social programs and in 1048 01:03:47,550 --> 01:03:51,090 improving public housing in some cities. There's been very, very 1049 01:03:51,090 --> 01:03:53,370 concentrated public housing that's been dispersed to some 1050 01:03:53,370 --> 01:03:57,480 degree. And I'm sure the circumstances vary a great deal 1051 01:03:57,480 --> 01:03:57,870 from city 1052 01:04:00,750 --> 01:04:04,590 so of course, you know, being the nation's treasurer they want 1053 01:04:04,590 --> 01:04:07,800 There's one interesting stat and you're gonna have you guessed 1054 01:04:07,800 --> 01:04:11,160 because you just guessed, you know what it is? Let's just read 1055 01:04:11,160 --> 01:04:16,770 off a couple stats here in 1970 there were 150 million guns 1056 01:04:16,770 --> 01:04:19,950 floating around the United States. Okay, I get it. Yeah. 1057 01:04:20,040 --> 01:04:27,000 All right. Climbed progressively 2013 300 million guns, more than 1058 01:04:27,030 --> 01:04:31,830 any time in our history. We're armed more and the end of gun 1059 01:04:31,830 --> 01:04:32,790 violence has gone down. 1060 01:04:33,150 --> 01:04:34,260 How is that possible? Just 1061 01:04:34,260 --> 01:04:36,330 a little bit about what goes on in Texas? 1062 01:04:36,780 --> 01:04:41,250 Uh, you know, I, I tell people this all the time, is you know, 1063 01:04:41,250 --> 01:04:47,370 we have no carjackings. We have no little to no gun violence 1064 01:04:47,370 --> 01:04:50,190 anywhere. I'm just talking about austenite which I really know. 1065 01:04:50,730 --> 01:04:53,250 But you can just look up the headlines. And there's no one 1066 01:04:53,250 --> 01:04:57,330 breaking into homes. Because you know, you can and we're polite 1067 01:04:57,330 --> 01:05:00,300 to each other in traffic. Ooh, please after you know Sir, 1068 01:05:00,330 --> 01:05:02,400 please after you, I don't know what you're packing Go ahead. 1069 01:05:04,440 --> 01:05:09,420 Exactly in Texas when once they legalized carry, it was like it 1070 01:05:09,420 --> 01:05:13,050 just the crimes went right to the floor. And, and the gun 1071 01:05:13,050 --> 01:05:17,880 numbers from 150 to doubled in the since 1971, there was really 1072 01:05:17,880 --> 01:05:22,800 a lot of violence doubled and the crime rate went down. They 1073 01:05:22,800 --> 01:05:26,760 did not bring this up. This guy would know this, because he just 1074 01:05:26,760 --> 01:05:30,930 wrote a book about Glock. But no, I probably did because 1075 01:05:30,930 --> 01:05:34,260 they're arresting more people and the police procedures seem 1076 01:05:34,260 --> 01:05:38,100 to be improved. And they are also patrolling areas where 1077 01:05:38,100 --> 01:05:41,040 there was gun violence instead of randomly patrolling. And I 1078 01:05:41,040 --> 01:05:45,930 don't know, it's hard to say. So we have to put up with this. 1079 01:05:45,930 --> 01:05:46,200 Well, there's 1080 01:05:46,260 --> 01:05:48,930 there's a couple things, a couple things going on. So first 1081 01:05:48,930 --> 01:05:51,150 of all, it seems like everything that's being done here is going 1082 01:05:51,150 --> 01:05:55,110 to speed up gun purchasing, which I think is just basically 1083 01:05:55,110 --> 01:05:57,570 good. I mean, I you know, it's like it, we'll do a background 1084 01:05:57,570 --> 01:06:02,310 check in two minutes. Great. Great, make that shit faster, 1085 01:06:02,310 --> 01:06:09,210 boy. However, this, of course, is really the war on crazy. And 1086 01:06:09,210 --> 01:06:14,190 I'd like to and I was surprised when I did some of the research 1087 01:06:14,790 --> 01:06:21,690 about about gun legislation. Now we have these amendments, or, 1088 01:06:21,720 --> 01:06:25,980 you know, the you were the the amendment. I think it's s 374. 1089 01:06:25,980 --> 01:06:29,580 Whatever is going to get passed probably the fixed gun checks 1090 01:06:29,580 --> 01:06:36,090 act of 2013. It refers to US Code Title 18, section 22. This 1091 01:06:36,090 --> 01:06:42,210 is the the main legislation which was put in place as a part 1092 01:06:42,210 --> 01:06:45,810 of the Brady bill. So this goes back how many years? John? 20 1093 01:06:45,810 --> 01:06:48,240 years, 25 years? Well, the Brady 1094 01:06:48,270 --> 01:06:51,210 bill, I believe was introduced in 83. 1095 01:06:51,600 --> 01:06:55,770 That's 20 years. Yeah. No, that's fine. Because 30 years, 1096 01:06:55,770 --> 01:06:59,940 30 years, 30 years ago, US I just mean read this to you. And 1097 01:06:59,940 --> 01:07:02,010 then you'll understand maybe a little bit better about what's 1098 01:07:02,010 --> 01:07:06,450 going on. And this is just a very long process that has been 1099 01:07:06,450 --> 01:07:09,030 going on for a while and they finally gotten there. This is 1100 01:07:09,030 --> 01:07:11,790 not about taking your guns away. This is about locking you up 1101 01:07:11,790 --> 01:07:16,530 because you're crazy for anything. So US Code Title 18 1102 01:07:16,860 --> 01:07:19,680 section 922. It shall be unlawful for any person to sell 1103 01:07:19,680 --> 01:07:22,530 or otherwise dispose of any firearm or ammunition to any 1104 01:07:22,530 --> 01:07:24,990 person knowing or having reasonable cause to believe that 1105 01:07:24,990 --> 01:07:29,820 such person is one under indictment for or been convicted 1106 01:07:29,820 --> 01:07:34,230 in any court of crime punishable by imprisonment is a fugitive 1107 01:07:34,230 --> 01:07:40,620 from justice is an unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled 1108 01:07:40,620 --> 01:07:44,820 substance. It's very important. And here's the big one. This is 1109 01:07:44,820 --> 01:07:47,430 the one that Biden I didn't record him saying it but he kept 1110 01:07:47,430 --> 01:07:50,610 saying this over and over again. I should have clipped it, but I 1111 01:07:50,610 --> 01:07:55,320 just I couldn't stand looking at him anymore. Number four has 1112 01:07:55,320 --> 01:07:59,490 been educated as a mental defective. Okay. 1113 01:08:00,120 --> 01:08:01,860 I voted in Nazi Germany. 1114 01:08:02,040 --> 01:08:05,730 So this is 30 years old advocated as mental defective. 1115 01:08:05,730 --> 01:08:10,860 So I go and I'm like, What does mental defective really mean? 1116 01:08:11,700 --> 01:08:17,190 And it has been specified a federal law. According to the 1117 01:08:17,190 --> 01:08:21,420 Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act. Anyone advocates 1118 01:08:21,420 --> 01:08:21,900 the Brady 1119 01:08:21,900 --> 01:08:25,470 bill was discussed it was actually passed in a form in 1120 01:08:25,470 --> 01:08:31,260 1993. of it during the Clinton Administration. 93. Okay. Well, 1121 01:08:31,260 --> 01:08:33,570 that's when the bill was actually passed the Brady 1122 01:08:33,570 --> 01:08:36,840 Handgun Violence Prevention Act, I think there was attempts to 1123 01:08:36,840 --> 01:08:41,430 pass the so called Brady law Bill Brady Bill, previous to 1124 01:08:41,430 --> 01:08:44,640 that I can't find a reference to the exact date just so people 1125 01:08:44,640 --> 01:08:47,340 don't think that we don't try to get things correct. 1126 01:08:47,519 --> 01:08:51,689 So it did become law in 1993, as I'm reading it here, and the 1127 01:08:51,689 --> 01:08:55,829 definition of mental defective, which means and you will have to 1128 01:08:55,829 --> 01:09:01,469 have been educated as a mental defective, defective, mental 1129 01:09:01,469 --> 01:09:04,799 defective man. The definition of a mental defective in this case 1130 01:09:04,799 --> 01:09:10,739 includes anyone whom a court, board Commission, or other 1131 01:09:10,739 --> 01:09:15,449 lawful authority has a kangaroo courts has determined to be a 1132 01:09:15,449 --> 01:09:20,069 quote, danger to himself or other because of market 1133 01:09:20,099 --> 01:09:24,209 subnormal intelligence or mental illness in competency, 1134 01:09:24,419 --> 01:09:31,799 condition, or disease. So this, I would say, is rather broad. 1135 01:09:32,399 --> 01:09:35,729 Now, of course, what we're doing here, if you go in and you look 1136 01:09:35,729 --> 01:09:41,219 at this act, this is not anything. This has nothing to do 1137 01:09:41,219 --> 01:09:46,139 with. With real gun legislation. This has to do with grants to 1138 01:09:46,139 --> 01:09:51,839 the states. Because this is a state issue. A state determines 1139 01:09:51,839 --> 01:09:55,469 what their gun legislation is now in order to get a federal 1140 01:09:55,469 --> 01:09:58,019 and of course, this is what the President's been working on, in 1141 01:09:58,019 --> 01:10:04,979 order to do Get a make it look like a federal mandate, all the 1142 01:10:04,979 --> 01:10:08,279 states have to get on board. Interestingly enough, if you 1143 01:10:08,279 --> 01:10:15,449 look at most of the laws for the states, you'd be surprised. What 1144 01:10:15,779 --> 01:10:21,959 what the actual definition of mental defective is I'm going to 1145 01:10:21,959 --> 01:10:27,299 pull up Texas, just to show you that I'm completely unbiased in 1146 01:10:27,299 --> 01:10:34,049 this. And here are the 1-234-567-8910 11. Here are the 1147 01:10:34,049 --> 01:10:39,569 12 different things. If you are determined to suffer from at 1148 01:10:39,569 --> 01:10:46,169 least one of them, then and I'll go into an important one in a 1149 01:10:46,169 --> 01:10:48,479 minute, at least one of them then you are forbidden from 1150 01:10:48,479 --> 01:10:51,839 having a gun. This is Texas, this is already law. So what 1151 01:10:51,839 --> 01:10:54,509 what is happening in the United States Senate now is they are 1152 01:10:54,509 --> 01:10:58,979 bribing the State's Attorney General's what they do with 1153 01:10:58,979 --> 01:11:03,359 money to implement this into their background check systems, 1154 01:11:03,359 --> 01:11:06,749 the NIC s, I think is what it's called. And we're talking 1155 01:11:06,749 --> 01:11:09,689 hundreds of millions of dollars, which no one is going to let 1156 01:11:09,689 --> 01:11:13,799 pass up. So Texas, possession of a firearm by the mentally ill, 1157 01:11:14,519 --> 01:11:18,419 as determined involuntary psychiatric hospitalization 1158 01:11:18,419 --> 01:11:21,659 makes common that's common sense. psychiatric 1159 01:11:21,659 --> 01:11:25,829 hospitalization, inpatient or residential substance abuse 1160 01:11:25,829 --> 01:11:31,169 treatment in the preceding five year period. Diagnosis in the 1161 01:11:31,169 --> 01:11:33,749 preceding five year period by a licensed physician that the 1162 01:11:33,749 --> 01:11:38,099 person is dependent on alcohol, a controlled substance or 1163 01:11:38,099 --> 01:11:41,099 similar substance that's very much like the Brady bill, or 1164 01:11:41,099 --> 01:11:45,179 diagnosis at anytime, at any time by a licensed physician, 1165 01:11:45,539 --> 01:11:48,539 that the person suffers or has suffered from a psychiatric 1166 01:11:48,539 --> 01:11:54,359 disorder or condition consisting of or relating to schizophrenia 1167 01:11:54,359 --> 01:12:01,079 or delusional disorder. Bipolar disorder is half our audience. 1168 01:12:01,589 --> 01:12:05,219 Chronic dementia, where they're caused by illness, brain defect 1169 01:12:05,219 --> 01:12:09,359 or brain injury. This associative I Identity Disorder, 1170 01:12:10,439 --> 01:12:16,679 intermittent explosive disorder, or antisocial personality 1171 01:12:16,679 --> 01:12:19,889 disorder. Let's take a look at antisocial personality disorder. 1172 01:12:20,339 --> 01:12:23,429 Since I live in the state of Texas and I am a gun owner, I 1173 01:12:23,429 --> 01:12:27,449 think I'm probably in violation. The World Health Organization 1174 01:12:28,139 --> 01:12:32,369 has determined you have antisocial personality disorder, 1175 01:12:32,819 --> 01:12:40,679 if you have at least one of the following conditions. callous 1176 01:12:40,679 --> 01:12:42,929 unconcerned for the feelings of others. 1177 01:12:48,090 --> 01:12:52,200 Gross and persistent attitude of irresponsibility and disregard 1178 01:12:52,200 --> 01:12:59,910 for social norms, rules and obligations, oh. Inc incapacity 1179 01:12:59,910 --> 01:13:03,360 to maintain enduring relationships, though having no 1180 01:13:03,360 --> 01:13:08,190 difficulty in establishing them. Very low tolerance to 1181 01:13:08,190 --> 01:13:11,940 frustration and a low threshold for discharge of aggression, 1182 01:13:11,940 --> 01:13:16,830 including violence, incapacity to experience guilt or to profit 1183 01:13:16,830 --> 01:13:21,330 from experience, particularly punishment, markedly prone to 1184 01:13:21,330 --> 01:13:24,570 blame others or to offer plausible rationalization for 1185 01:13:24,570 --> 01:13:27,120 the behavior that has brought the person into conflict with 1186 01:13:27,120 --> 01:13:33,030 society. So I think I got at least three of those. Yeah, at 1187 01:13:33,030 --> 01:13:39,180 least three. So it's so by this, I should not be allowed to have 1188 01:13:39,180 --> 01:13:45,120 a handgun. Hawaii has their own stem just by just pulled a 1189 01:13:45,120 --> 01:13:49,140 couple that you are mentally defective if the person is, is 1190 01:13:49,140 --> 01:13:52,140 or has been diagnosed, having a significant behavioral, 1191 01:13:52,290 --> 01:13:56,430 emotional, or mental disorder as defined by the most current 1192 01:13:56,430 --> 01:13:59,310 Diagnostic Manual of the American Psychiatric 1193 01:13:59,310 --> 01:14:03,060 Association. That would be the DSM ladies and gentlemen, and 1194 01:14:03,060 --> 01:14:06,750 there we have it. Congratulations. You are going 1195 01:14:06,750 --> 01:14:08,310 to be what? 1196 01:14:08,370 --> 01:14:12,000 What a good job you wrapped it all around into a bundle. You 1197 01:14:12,000 --> 01:14:14,550 presented it one piece at a time without getting boring. It was 1198 01:14:14,550 --> 01:14:16,950 nothing boring in there. And Biden, thank you. And then you 1199 01:14:16,950 --> 01:14:19,800 wrapped it around, and then you came off the track with it took 1200 01:14:19,800 --> 01:14:23,160 the spur, and you went over to this mental thing. And then you 1201 01:14:23,160 --> 01:14:26,130 found the debt, some documentation, then you spun it 1202 01:14:26,130 --> 01:14:29,790 back onto the main line. And bingo, there's that stupid book 1203 01:14:29,790 --> 01:14:30,240 again. 1204 01:14:35,460 --> 01:14:38,190 I do want to mention that there is one little sidetrack one 1205 01:14:38,190 --> 01:14:45,330 little footnote footnote here. There is a new concept that I 1206 01:14:45,330 --> 01:14:50,460 believe will help me and I think I can actually get some 1207 01:14:50,460 --> 01:14:55,650 government money for this new concept known as neuro 1208 01:14:55,650 --> 01:14:56,550 diversity. 1209 01:14:58,260 --> 01:15:01,320 Have you heard of this? No, but I will 1210 01:15:01,350 --> 01:15:05,400 neuro diversity is a concept suggesting that neurological 1211 01:15:05,400 --> 01:15:10,110 differences be respected and recognized as a social category 1212 01:15:10,110 --> 01:15:15,570 on par with gender, ethnicity, class or disability. And what 1213 01:15:15,570 --> 01:15:19,560 qualifies you as well, individuals with Attention 1214 01:15:19,560 --> 01:15:23,370 Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, 1215 01:15:23,940 --> 01:15:28,830 dyscalculia, dyslexia, dyspraxia, 1216 01:15:28,860 --> 01:15:33,480 dyslexia, and populations, dyslexic and 1217 01:15:34,020 --> 01:15:35,580 Tourette Syndrome. 1218 01:15:36,330 --> 01:15:38,970 We need to get government grants. I 1219 01:15:39,810 --> 01:15:42,600 am getting them I'm getting me some government money for my 1220 01:15:42,600 --> 01:15:46,860 neurodiversity. Wow. Which means we need a new jingle 1221 01:15:51,120 --> 01:15:56,550 neurodiversity, neuro diverse neuro diversity, so you know, I 1222 01:15:56,550 --> 01:16:01,590 can get affirmative action. Because of my Tourette syndrome. 1223 01:16:02,190 --> 01:16:05,880 I should I should be first. In fact, I can get I think I should 1224 01:16:05,880 --> 01:16:10,620 get a parking pass an invalid parking pass. Because I have 1225 01:16:10,620 --> 01:16:11,490 Tourette Syndrome. 1226 01:16:11,700 --> 01:16:15,510 Disability Parking has not an invalid and invalid shouldn't be 1227 01:16:15,510 --> 01:16:16,140 driving 1228 01:16:16,170 --> 01:16:20,730 invalid. I'm sorry. Invalid disability. They don't call it a 1229 01:16:20,730 --> 01:16:22,740 Disability Parking Permit. 1230 01:16:23,100 --> 01:16:24,000 They do here. 1231 01:16:24,030 --> 01:16:29,100 They call it a cripple pass here in Texas. That's this. That's 1232 01:16:29,100 --> 01:16:33,210 that cripple past. Hey, but how cool is that? 1233 01:16:34,320 --> 01:16:41,250 Go for it. Yeah. Dyslexic is now disabled. What is it? What 1234 01:16:41,250 --> 01:16:43,860 you're saying is every dyslexic which is half the population 1235 01:16:43,860 --> 01:16:48,030 from what I can tell. From Jay Leno down to Mimi. 1236 01:16:49,770 --> 01:16:51,930 And Miss Mickey. Miss Mickey's dyslexic. 1237 01:16:52,020 --> 01:16:54,420 There you go. It's good. You guys, you have perfect parking 1238 01:16:54,420 --> 01:16:59,100 permits. Oh, no wonder so I'm in Las Vegas. I'm in Las Vegas. 1239 01:16:59,190 --> 01:17:01,080 Yeah. Nab wait 1240 01:17:02,010 --> 01:17:04,380 was a hooker and blow trip? I don't know about 1241 01:17:05,250 --> 01:17:08,640 you know about it didn't know agenda broadcasting exhibition 1242 01:17:08,640 --> 01:17:14,040 in Las Vegas. I'm surprised you didn't come. So? Yeah. So I go 1243 01:17:14,040 --> 01:17:16,890 down to the parking area where they had 1244 01:17:17,610 --> 01:17:21,240 way, way way back it up. Back it up. Back it up. You flew out of 1245 01:17:21,240 --> 01:17:27,060 what airport? Oakland? And did you choose any of our no agenda 1246 01:17:27,060 --> 01:17:29,820 travel tips at the Gestapo? 1247 01:17:30,240 --> 01:17:34,020 Try not wondering whether even discussing this as legal. 1248 01:17:35,400 --> 01:17:38,010 Because it's possible they make their privacy something about 1249 01:17:38,010 --> 01:17:41,400 lying to an official, but I'm gonna give you a hypothetical. 1250 01:17:42,000 --> 01:17:45,720 This is not necessarily something I did. But let me just 1251 01:17:45,720 --> 01:17:49,230 say that if you go to the line, and there's always a guy 1252 01:17:49,230 --> 01:17:52,860 standing there between the the scanning machine and the 1253 01:17:52,890 --> 01:17:56,100 magnetometers the guy there, you tap him, right? And so you will 1254 01:17:56,100 --> 01:17:59,400 find that if you if you just make a motion to your shoulder 1255 01:17:59,400 --> 01:18:02,100 with like your left hand and you just you touch your shoulder 1256 01:18:02,100 --> 01:18:05,400 with it, the guy immediately says can't lift your arms. 1257 01:18:06,120 --> 01:18:06,810 Really. 1258 01:18:08,130 --> 01:18:11,310 He already knew the this hypothetical situation. 1259 01:18:12,420 --> 01:18:16,440 And I said, I'm sorry, I didn't say medically you could have 1260 01:18:16,440 --> 01:18:21,990 said I would have said something like no, just this one. I had 1261 01:18:21,990 --> 01:18:24,480 dislocated shoulder to just what you might 1262 01:18:24,509 --> 01:18:27,779 hypothetically. So that's I like that as a hypothetical idea. 1263 01:18:27,809 --> 01:18:32,219 Discipline this dislocate. It's got some it's got some I have 1264 01:18:32,219 --> 01:18:33,239 neuro diversity. 1265 01:18:33,840 --> 01:18:37,860 So so it's just like, oh, yeah, no problem. Boom, boom, good 1266 01:18:37,860 --> 01:18:40,500 luck, you know, and you could just immediately go flying 1267 01:18:40,500 --> 01:18:46,200 through on the Las Vegas side, hypothetically. Same central 1268 01:18:46,200 --> 01:18:49,260 thing and the guy the only this guy, same thing, they just 1269 01:18:49,260 --> 01:18:53,640 jumped to conclusions. And then he's really sympathetic. All 1270 01:18:55,290 --> 01:19:03,810 right. Okay, buddy, gotta get on through there. And 1271 01:19:04,440 --> 01:19:07,170 threatens hypothetically, you were maybe you could have been 1272 01:19:07,170 --> 01:19:08,850 sent to the magnetometer instead. 1273 01:19:09,210 --> 01:19:11,640 No, no, I was sent through the magneto. I mean, I was 1274 01:19:11,640 --> 01:19:15,810 hypothetically sent through the magnetometer. Yes. And, but it 1275 01:19:15,810 --> 01:19:18,570 was like with a lot of with a with a kind of a oomph. You 1276 01:19:18,570 --> 01:19:23,190 know, it's like get in there, you know, fight it off. Shake it 1277 01:19:23,190 --> 01:19:29,280 off, get back into the game, walk it off. So that trick, 1278 01:19:29,730 --> 01:19:31,440 which is you know, obviously us 1279 01:19:32,820 --> 01:19:35,010 only people this would be 1280 01:19:35,040 --> 01:19:37,800 they would have required doctor's notes or some god knows 1281 01:19:37,800 --> 01:19:41,040 what they're going to do when they finally get a clue. But 1282 01:19:41,790 --> 01:19:44,490 it's really speeds things up because you get in that route 1283 01:19:44,730 --> 01:19:47,730 thing that you when you get in that, by the way if you get in 1284 01:19:47,730 --> 01:19:51,780 that round thing. Well, anyway, go on, but you get on there. I 1285 01:19:51,780 --> 01:19:54,480 think that's about it takes about 10 or 15 seconds out of 1286 01:19:54,480 --> 01:19:57,570 your day when you can zoom through the magnetometer. 1287 01:19:58,320 --> 01:19:59,730 Anyway, hypothetically, 1288 01:19:59,760 --> 01:20:02,700 hi. pathetically hypothetically. Okay, so 1289 01:20:03,899 --> 01:20:07,529 I'm back in Vegas, right? So I'm driving around and I've had that 1290 01:20:07,559 --> 01:20:10,589 meeting. It's with somebody, one of the micro companies or 1291 01:20:10,589 --> 01:20:13,439 something and I have to get, I had to go to a lunch and I had 1292 01:20:13,439 --> 01:20:16,529 to come back. And so I'm driving past the front. And there's 1293 01:20:16,529 --> 01:20:19,319 like, 1000 I swear to God, there must Well, I actually took a 1294 01:20:19,319 --> 01:20:26,279 picture of there's probably 50 Plus open parking spots. And 1295 01:20:26,279 --> 01:20:29,399 where's this? This is in front of the Las Vegas Convention 1296 01:20:29,519 --> 01:20:34,259 never happens. You never been to a moderate show. 1297 01:20:34,290 --> 01:20:36,600 Wow. Yeah, no, go to hit shows. 1298 01:20:37,320 --> 01:20:41,070 Just shows Big Data. 95,000 people attended, and it had the 1299 01:20:41,100 --> 01:20:41,820 three halls. 1300 01:20:42,269 --> 01:20:44,669 And they all talk like this. Hey, everybody, how you doing? 1301 01:20:44,669 --> 01:20:46,769 Welcome to a couple of years. 1302 01:20:48,360 --> 01:20:52,440 Some local anchors roaming around with their executive, 1303 01:20:52,440 --> 01:20:55,830 they just sort of stereotypes all over the stereotypes of you 1304 01:20:55,830 --> 01:20:58,140 that you'd love to show because it was so loaded with 1305 01:20:58,140 --> 01:21:01,830 stereotypes. So I go drive around. No, no, no, you can't 1306 01:21:01,830 --> 01:21:05,850 go, oh, you can't go in there. I said, Well, you get spots. 1307 01:21:05,850 --> 01:21:09,060 There's tons of spots back there. And the guy says no, 1308 01:21:09,060 --> 01:21:12,630 we're saving him for the handicapped disabled. So how 1309 01:21:12,630 --> 01:21:15,330 many disabled are going to go into the show at three in the 1310 01:21:15,330 --> 01:21:17,910 afternoon is an hour before closing? 1311 01:21:20,940 --> 01:21:22,620 Did he have a badge did he have 1312 01:21:23,910 --> 01:21:27,150 he had a yellow thing on us at Vegas parking some Did you have 1313 01:21:27,150 --> 01:21:30,690 an armband? Yeah, it's a scan to Las Vegas Convention Center is 1314 01:21:30,690 --> 01:21:36,000 corrupt. Yeah. So anyway, I have an armband. Now I should have 1315 01:21:36,000 --> 01:21:40,770 done with a swastika. Anyway, I got to see a lot of cool stuff. 1316 01:21:40,770 --> 01:21:42,000 And I've really enjoyed it. 1317 01:21:42,450 --> 01:21:45,330 So was there anything new any news? You're coming back from 1318 01:21:45,330 --> 01:21:46,530 the from the recipe? 1319 01:21:46,590 --> 01:21:49,920 Well, stuff. The main thing. I think the highlight of the show 1320 01:21:50,610 --> 01:21:54,750 was Sony, actually, of all people, they had an ad I think 1321 01:21:54,750 --> 01:22:00,780 was an 85 inch or 82 or 84 inch 4k 4k was everywhere I went to 1322 01:22:00,780 --> 01:22:02,700 it actually wanted to see some 4k displays. 1323 01:22:02,969 --> 01:22:05,519 And what is 4k This is like these televisions that no one 1324 01:22:05,519 --> 01:22:06,149 will ever buy. 1325 01:22:07,019 --> 01:22:10,019 No there'll be buying when they come down. Just like the 3d. 1326 01:22:10,049 --> 01:22:14,339 Right? So it was like, No, you'll be buying a 4k TV. I 1327 01:22:14,339 --> 01:22:14,909 guarantee it. 1328 01:22:15,210 --> 01:22:19,740 Dude, I barely have HD. What are you talking about? You know me? 1329 01:22:20,340 --> 01:22:24,390 I'm not gonna lie that don't give a crap. It's 3840 1330 01:22:24,900 --> 01:22:29,340 by 1080 times two is 20. Yeah, and C 1331 01:22:29,340 --> 01:22:33,210 span looks so great on it. When he went six. What a waste. 1332 01:22:33,330 --> 01:22:36,150 Well, there's a lot of ways that a lot of the demos they didn't 1333 01:22:36,150 --> 01:22:41,220 have good and the content has to go in at 4k to be come out at 4k 1334 01:22:41,220 --> 01:22:44,040 Otherwise just blurry. But anyway, so I what I got to see 1335 01:22:44,040 --> 01:22:50,970 though, was the 82 or 84 inch Sony 4k Three D which was 1336 01:22:50,970 --> 01:22:53,490 actually quite interesting, because it's like, wow, and 1337 01:22:53,490 --> 01:22:59,310 that's $24,000. But the cool one which had no price attached to 1338 01:22:59,310 --> 01:23:02,730 it, and I had no idea this was going on but they had a fit, I 1339 01:23:02,730 --> 01:23:10,290 guess a 56 inch, I believe something like that. Oh, l e d 1340 01:23:10,320 --> 01:23:14,790 4k, which was unbelievable, I think is the most amazing thing 1341 01:23:14,790 --> 01:23:16,950 I've ever seen in my life. Literally. I mean, you just you 1342 01:23:16,950 --> 01:23:19,920 just can't stop looking at this thing. You have to they have to 1343 01:23:20,430 --> 01:23:22,260 pretty much pull you away from it. That's 1344 01:23:22,260 --> 01:23:24,180 the most amazing thing you've ever Have you ever been to the 1345 01:23:24,180 --> 01:23:26,640 Grand Canyon. Have you ever seen the Mona Lisa, 1346 01:23:26,970 --> 01:23:31,080 I'm talking about technology? Okay. Or display technology to 1347 01:23:31,080 --> 01:23:34,560 be specific. I have not seen anything like this. It was just 1348 01:23:34,590 --> 01:23:38,190 riveting. And the weird thing is, is I was under the complete 1349 01:23:38,190 --> 01:23:41,160 impression that Sony's company's not very good at Sony anything. 1350 01:23:41,160 --> 01:23:44,490 Apparently, I was under the total impression that Sony had 1351 01:23:44,490 --> 01:23:49,290 kicked the OLED display technology to the curb and 1352 01:23:49,320 --> 01:23:51,840 stopped working on it. Meanwhile, they got the biggest 1353 01:23:51,840 --> 01:23:55,560 one I've ever seen. We had 4k. So obviously I don't know what 1354 01:23:55,560 --> 01:24:00,480 the deserves hours are memo that it just bothered me. Right. So 1355 01:24:00,750 --> 01:24:03,000 was there anything cool at the show was my question. 1356 01:24:03,390 --> 01:24:06,720 That was cool. Okay. There's a lot of mixing stuff. A lot of 1357 01:24:06,720 --> 01:24:07,800 new mic. Hey, did you 1358 01:24:07,800 --> 01:24:11,520 did you get to talk to any mixer? People about the project? 1359 01:24:12,780 --> 01:24:15,690 Yeah, I actually make good contacts, which we'll talk about 1360 01:24:15,690 --> 01:24:15,990 later. 1361 01:24:17,790 --> 01:24:18,900 With big names. 1362 01:24:19,920 --> 01:24:23,010 Another couple big names. Okay. Because I because I'm, 1363 01:24:23,040 --> 01:24:26,310 you know, we got one of our producers, he's an industrial 1364 01:24:26,310 --> 01:24:29,250 designer. And he's offered to design it 1365 01:24:29,580 --> 01:24:31,800 to an industrial design, so it was gonna look good, and it's 1366 01:24:31,800 --> 01:24:33,720 gonna look good. And 1367 01:24:33,750 --> 01:24:37,200 and I have ordered all the bits and bobs, it'll still be because 1368 01:24:37,200 --> 01:24:39,180 you know, it's like circuit boards and crap. It'll still be 1369 01:24:39,180 --> 01:24:41,340 another two weeks before I have the demo, but this is going to 1370 01:24:41,340 --> 01:24:44,040 be I'm calling it the podcaster 1371 01:24:45,870 --> 01:24:47,130 Did you register that? 1372 01:24:47,970 --> 01:24:52,290 Yeah, good luck with that. Better. There's no way you can 1373 01:24:52,290 --> 01:24:54,930 register that. You can. Oh, no, no, 1374 01:24:55,110 --> 01:24:56,880 it's to trademark No, 1375 01:24:56,910 --> 01:25:00,750 no. Yeah. I also don't have 1000s of dollars. Extra register 1376 01:25:00,750 --> 01:25:03,750 that No, it doesn't walk called the podcast or then I don't 1377 01:25:03,750 --> 01:25:06,900 care. It doesn't matter. People will buy it if it's if, if we 1378 01:25:06,900 --> 01:25:08,970 make the best podcast in universe with this thing, 1379 01:25:09,000 --> 01:25:09,990 everyone will want one. 1380 01:25:10,290 --> 01:25:13,290 So I met the new tech booth, which is one of the potential 1381 01:25:13,410 --> 01:25:18,060 makers of this thing as a matter. So they, of course make 1382 01:25:18,060 --> 01:25:21,180 the Tricaster. Right. A couple of things. I found one for one 1383 01:25:21,180 --> 01:25:24,090 thing, they had their number one in the world for selling 1384 01:25:24,090 --> 01:25:29,730 switchers. I believe that and I guess so. So I'm chatting there 1385 01:25:29,730 --> 01:25:31,590 and white out of this guy wants to be mentioned. So I won't 1386 01:25:31,590 --> 01:25:33,840 mention but so one of the guys comes up then he because he's in 1387 01:25:33,840 --> 01:25:37,290 a conversation with a bunch of the executives. And he says he 1388 01:25:37,290 --> 01:25:41,070 have no agenda show. He goes on and on. Really? This is one of 1389 01:25:41,070 --> 01:25:44,010 the execs Now this was a guy from I think he's from Adobe, or 1390 01:25:44,010 --> 01:25:46,380 from another company that was talking to new tech about 1391 01:25:46,380 --> 01:25:49,740 something cool. Hey, hey, no 1392 01:25:49,740 --> 01:25:52,830 agenda show. That's how he comes up. Pretty much do you have 1393 01:25:52,830 --> 01:25:54,990 crumbs in his beard? No. Yeah. 1394 01:25:54,990 --> 01:25:57,120 Who's a good looking guy is a regular looking guy didn't have 1395 01:25:57,120 --> 01:25:59,940 a beard. So but but I since he was there, and everyone's gonna 1396 01:25:59,940 --> 01:26:02,190 go well, yeah. What's this all because he knows a lot of people 1397 01:26:02,190 --> 01:26:04,080 that should be listening to the show. They're not right. And I 1398 01:26:04,080 --> 01:26:09,030 said, tell him the no agenda show is the best show in and 1399 01:26:09,030 --> 01:26:12,240 then he goes, no agenda is the best show in the universe, the 1400 01:26:12,240 --> 01:26:15,360 best podcast in the universe. He actually mimic the exact phrase 1401 01:26:15,480 --> 01:26:19,680 that we've been drumming. Really? So yeah, you guys should 1402 01:26:19,680 --> 01:26:22,860 be listening to the no agenda podcast. It's the best podcast 1403 01:26:22,860 --> 01:26:27,930 in the universe. Because none of them get the joke. 1404 01:26:29,220 --> 01:26:31,050 Did he have a wooden leg? 1405 01:26:34,320 --> 01:26:35,640 I gave him a lanyard. 1406 01:26:35,790 --> 01:26:38,850 Very good. Oh, you took some with you? Good. Oh, yeah. All 1407 01:26:38,850 --> 01:26:40,230 right. Okay, well, that 1408 01:26:40,679 --> 01:26:43,769 was my summary of the industrial socialism. broadcasters. Ladies 1409 01:26:43,769 --> 01:26:45,929 and gentlemen. Very good. 13. Good 1410 01:26:45,930 --> 01:26:50,040 work, John. Good work. You got it. You at least confirm we have 1411 01:26:50,040 --> 01:26:54,420 one person listening. And we appreciate his continued support 1661 01:43:49,260 --> 01:43:53,400 and I'm sure he'll be going for the Duke domes and the grand 1662 01:43:53,400 --> 01:43:56,850 dukes looks like he's well on as well. On his way to joining the 1663 01:43:56,850 --> 01:44:01,680 elite club of Grand Duke Steven Pels. mockers 1664 01:44:01,800 --> 01:44:04,200 he is grand duke he could probably pick up the whole west 1665 01:44:04,200 --> 01:44:04,800 coast. 1666 01:44:05,820 --> 01:44:08,580 I know and I think he could even grab Hawaii. 1667 01:44:10,620 --> 01:44:13,470 Yeah, it might be inconvenient to rule Hawaii. 1668 01:44:14,760 --> 01:44:16,320 Who gives a crap about 1669 01:44:16,320 --> 01:44:18,510 Hawaii? Like as Yeah, right. Just 1670 01:44:18,600 --> 01:44:21,690 how many donors have you seen coming in from Hawaii? 1671 01:44:22,620 --> 01:44:27,210 They're too busy. Hanging, hanging loose, hanging 10 1672 01:44:27,630 --> 01:44:32,940 hanging loose with that little symbol. Okay, so anyway, one 1673 01:44:32,940 --> 01:44:36,240 more thing I wanted to mention about the NAB. Yeah. So I'm at 1674 01:44:36,240 --> 01:44:39,270 the information with an A here this guide St. Lawrence, the 1675 01:44:39,270 --> 01:44:41,940 FCC. This is the National Association of brought home I 1676 01:44:41,940 --> 01:44:42,630 can answer your question. I 1677 01:44:42,780 --> 01:44:46,560 can answer your question. Yeah. You went to the information 1678 01:44:46,560 --> 01:44:50,490 booth. Yeah. Are you one of these guys who says I'd like 1679 01:44:50,490 --> 01:44:51,330 some information? 1680 01:44:51,750 --> 01:44:54,630 No, I asked him where the press room was because it wasn't 1681 01:44:54,630 --> 01:44:59,100 listed anywhere. So but me while I'm waiting, just asked a simple 1682 01:44:59,100 --> 01:45:03,390 question. As the guy says worse, the FCC says, oh, no, no FCC 1683 01:45:03,390 --> 01:45:05,160 can't be here because of the sequester. 1684 01:45:06,720 --> 01:45:08,850 Because of the Ryan Seacrest stration 1685 01:45:09,270 --> 01:45:13,290 so uh, so I'm coming. So I'm coming back, and I'm sitting 1686 01:45:13,290 --> 01:45:17,370 next to a licensing attorney that was at the NAB, and he 1687 01:45:17,400 --> 01:45:20,070 works out of Oakland is going to be a good source of information. 1688 01:45:20,490 --> 01:45:24,300 And he says, Hey, wasn't that bull crap about the FCC? He 1689 01:45:24,300 --> 01:45:27,690 says, it's a fee based organization, their entire 1690 01:45:27,690 --> 01:45:30,690 budget is based on all the fees they collect, what's the 1691 01:45:30,690 --> 01:45:33,060 sequestration got to do with anything? 1692 01:45:33,090 --> 01:45:35,370 So they were doing they just didn't want to show up? Why 1693 01:45:35,370 --> 01:45:38,460 would they dodging the conference? Because two things 1694 01:45:38,490 --> 01:45:43,740 why because one of the lawyer headed both, he says, one is 1695 01:45:43,740 --> 01:45:47,970 that the FCC is trying thanks to the lobbyists from Verizon, and 1696 01:45:47,970 --> 01:45:51,330 all these companies. In the dead of night, they've decided to 1697 01:45:51,420 --> 01:45:55,770 kill off low powered TV, that whole spectrum and just give it 1698 01:45:55,770 --> 01:45:58,920 to these, these, these douchebags. And they don't want 1699 01:45:58,920 --> 01:46:00,540 to have anyone bitching at them. So they 1700 01:46:00,750 --> 01:46:02,820 hold on hold on, hold on, I explained this, what is low 1701 01:46:02,820 --> 01:46:04,950 spectrum TV, low power TV, 1702 01:46:04,950 --> 01:46:08,190 LP TV, it's called you can it's an IV Wikipedia, and as a long 1703 01:46:08,190 --> 01:46:11,400 discussion, it's for rural areas that can't really afford to, 1704 01:46:11,610 --> 01:46:14,730 they can't get the big signals and they can't afford cable, and 1705 01:46:14,730 --> 01:46:17,070 they shooting set up shop in these little areas and get a 1706 01:46:17,070 --> 01:46:20,100 really nice little license and broadcast television. In the 1707 01:46:20,100 --> 01:46:21,660 middle of nowhere. Wyoming, it 1708 01:46:21,660 --> 01:46:24,630 can be your own programming, or do you have to rebrand? Really? 1709 01:46:25,950 --> 01:46:29,940 Yes, I know we should be in on we should have that we should 1710 01:46:29,940 --> 01:46:34,350 have tons of them in little groups of five and six. So 1711 01:46:34,590 --> 01:46:37,740 they're trying they're trying they're killing it. It was in I 1712 01:46:37,740 --> 01:46:41,130 think implemented in a in the 80s. They're gonna just kill it. 1713 01:46:41,400 --> 01:46:43,590 And they don't want a bunch of people bitching at him. So they 1714 01:46:43,590 --> 01:46:47,400 didn't show up for the meeting. Now second, but there's more the 1715 01:46:48,090 --> 01:46:49,110 wait, there's more. 1716 01:46:49,140 --> 01:46:51,810 But wait, it's it says it's supposed to go until September 1717 01:46:51,810 --> 01:46:53,370 1 2015. 1718 01:46:54,510 --> 01:46:57,210 Yeah, it was supposed to go forever. But anyway, they're 1719 01:46:57,210 --> 01:47:02,400 gonna kill it. Believe me his I believe I believe you're ruining 1720 01:47:02,400 --> 01:47:05,850 everything. The other thing is, which is rude. I think the main 1721 01:47:05,850 --> 01:47:07,830 reason it was show because all the big boys were there. 1722 01:47:08,490 --> 01:47:11,970 Apparently, I told those guys, I'm gonna have to get the 1723 01:47:11,970 --> 01:47:14,640 documentation for this. But apparently they've put the 1724 01:47:14,640 --> 01:47:20,310 kibosh on any improvements of any broadcast television 1725 01:47:21,210 --> 01:47:27,810 station, say I won't say his own cage, yo, in San Francisco, if I 1726 01:47:27,810 --> 01:47:32,010 make any improvements by just using new technology, which is 1727 01:47:32,010 --> 01:47:33,060 another reason that 1728 01:47:33,120 --> 01:47:36,000 new, it's a new license, you gotta file for a new license, 1729 01:47:36,750 --> 01:47:42,270 no, can't do it, period. You cannot do anything, at least a 1730 01:47:42,270 --> 01:47:44,460 push this through. And this again, I think it's the cable 1731 01:47:44,460 --> 01:47:47,250 operators, they push through that if you do something to your 1732 01:47:47,250 --> 01:47:50,100 station that that either that you want to do or that you're 1733 01:47:50,100 --> 01:47:54,900 going to do that will extend the reach of the signal, even though 1734 01:47:54,900 --> 01:47:57,450 you got to same wattage, but say the signal goes an extra mile 1735 01:47:57,450 --> 01:47:59,160 that used to know, 1736 01:48:01,020 --> 01:48:03,300 seem like they're protecting our interests. 1737 01:48:03,420 --> 01:48:07,230 Oh, this is just to get people off over the air. You know, this 1738 01:48:07,230 --> 01:48:09,750 disconnecting that's going on where people are getting a Roku 1739 01:48:09,750 --> 01:48:13,050 box and then getting a TV antenna, right and watching 1740 01:48:13,050 --> 01:48:15,810 television or your regular television over the antenna and 1741 01:48:15,810 --> 01:48:20,220 the Roku box, instead of paying 150 bucks a month for Comcast or 1742 01:48:20,220 --> 01:48:23,010 whoever it is, they they're trying to put a stop to that 1743 01:48:23,010 --> 01:48:25,920 they don't want people doing that they have to have a cable. 1744 01:48:26,040 --> 01:48:28,110 And then of course the next thing that you'll see which 1745 01:48:28,110 --> 01:48:31,380 we've predicted on this show that at some point the FCC is 1746 01:48:31,380 --> 01:48:34,770 going to step in and start regulating the cable industry. 1747 01:48:34,770 --> 01:48:36,900 And I think there's some pro quo going on here. 1748 01:48:37,770 --> 01:48:38,700 Bride So 1749 01:48:39,630 --> 01:48:42,570 Rachel eight you will do this for you will 1750 01:48:43,050 --> 01:48:45,270 kill it will kill all broadcast television. 1751 01:48:45,600 --> 01:48:47,850 I will kill broadcast television, but you got to play 1752 01:48:47,850 --> 01:48:48,780 ball, there is no 1753 01:48:48,780 --> 01:48:52,890 limit to the number of LPTV stations that may be owned by 1754 01:48:52,890 --> 01:48:57,570 any one entity. Yeah. Interesting. You can 1755 01:48:57,570 --> 01:48:59,940 have a string of these things or we should probably get into 1756 01:48:59,940 --> 01:49:02,790 holding no one but nobody uses this no one gives a crap this 1757 01:49:02,820 --> 01:49:05,880 almost that's almost as bad as my Morse code hobby. 1758 01:49:08,310 --> 01:49:10,950 Somebody don't you occasionally hear somebody talk back to you. 1759 01:49:11,130 --> 01:49:16,110 Let me tell you I had last night, I had a dream. And I woke 1760 01:49:16,110 --> 01:49:19,140 up and this is one of the rare to and I wrote it down. I had an 1761 01:49:19,140 --> 01:49:27,060 idea for Morse code. And, and it's a box. And this is going to 1762 01:49:27,060 --> 01:49:30,360 be like really, really cheap, real cheap thing but it's gonna 1763 01:49:30,360 --> 01:49:35,310 be fun for the whole family. And it's going to put Morse code on 1764 01:49:35,310 --> 01:49:40,260 the map. It's going to put Morse code in a monster ladies and 1765 01:49:40,260 --> 01:49:45,540 gentlemen on the map. I'm telling you, Morse code. Morse 1766 01:49:45,540 --> 01:49:45,840 code, 1767 01:49:46,050 --> 01:49:50,070 by the way that Samuel B Morse was an accomplished and world 1768 01:49:50,400 --> 01:49:51,360 class painter. 1769 01:49:53,160 --> 01:49:56,130 I'm trying to think of no I did not know that he was a world 1770 01:49:56,130 --> 01:49:57,060 class or painter. 1771 01:49:57,330 --> 01:50:00,630 Oh yeah, no, he was considerable in his area. He actually have 1772 01:50:00,630 --> 01:50:03,000 some seminal seminal works that he did. 1773 01:50:03,180 --> 01:50:08,160 I think it's funny. I think I have heard that someone had some 1774 01:50:08,160 --> 01:50:11,430 of his art but it didn't know. Let me just say really sad. 1775 01:50:11,430 --> 01:50:12,030 Yeah, one more. 1776 01:50:12,480 --> 01:50:19,680 Class world class. Really? famous painter. Yeah. Ha. He's 1777 01:50:19,680 --> 01:50:21,810 the kind of things you learn on the no agenda show. 1778 01:50:22,320 --> 01:50:29,610 He's absolutely I love Morse, Morse keys. I could I could tell 1779 01:50:29,610 --> 01:50:32,310 us what your good idea is. I'm not going to tell you my idea. 1780 01:50:32,340 --> 01:50:34,680 Now. I'm gonna I'm gonna build my eyes. You're gonna 1781 01:50:34,740 --> 01:50:38,490 so you're making it. You're putting your stake in the ground 1782 01:50:38,490 --> 01:50:42,030 right here. Well, you Yes, me, Adam curry are going to 1783 01:50:42,030 --> 01:50:46,350 revolutionize Morse code and make it a household thing. 1784 01:50:46,379 --> 01:50:49,019 Make it cool again. Cool. Okay, make 1785 01:50:49,020 --> 01:50:52,680 it cool. All right. So I got to see. 1786 01:50:53,580 --> 01:50:57,090 And in fact, you will be like, oh, man, keep send me one of 1787 01:50:57,090 --> 01:51:03,030 those boxes. You You are your watch. And you know, you'll be 1788 01:51:03,030 --> 01:51:05,910 able to use it with the internet without the Internet. Of course, 1789 01:51:05,910 --> 01:51:08,130 that's the whole beauty of but as you want to build us without 1790 01:51:08,130 --> 01:51:15,150 the Internet. And I think that many, many people will either 1791 01:51:15,150 --> 01:51:20,160 buy this box and use it illegally. Or I what I hope is 1792 01:51:20,160 --> 01:51:23,280 that people will buy this box and go and get their license. 1793 01:51:23,520 --> 01:51:27,960 Because the cool thing is that when even if you have you don't 1794 01:51:27,960 --> 01:51:31,470 need to be a general license. Then you're that little little 1795 01:51:31,500 --> 01:51:38,010 pansy. Like starter license. You got that one? You can use it 1796 01:51:38,010 --> 01:51:38,820 with that. 1797 01:51:39,090 --> 01:51:43,380 Oh really? Yes. Can you use it with family radio system? Yes. 1798 01:51:43,410 --> 01:51:48,240 Yes. Even more GPRS Yes, yeah. GPRS Yes, 1799 01:51:48,270 --> 01:51:49,410 you can use it with that too. 1800 01:51:49,470 --> 01:51:53,820 In fact, GPRS is notorious amongst the hams out there and 1801 01:51:53,820 --> 01:51:58,050 we hate it because they're all of them are running illegal 1802 01:51:58,050 --> 01:52:01,920 amps. Yeah, they're they're they're pushing the signal way 1803 01:52:01,920 --> 01:52:05,190 past what is allowed and nobody ended and they're bitches that 1804 01:52:05,220 --> 01:52:08,040 which is another reason the FCC didn't show up the bitches that 1805 01:52:08,040 --> 01:52:10,440 is interfering with all kinds of stuff. And the FCC is doing 1806 01:52:10,440 --> 01:52:13,080 nothing about it. They don't care. Screw it. You guys wanted 1807 01:52:13,080 --> 01:52:15,360 this thing? You got it here. Go knock yourselves out. 1808 01:52:15,870 --> 01:52:20,550 Well, interestingly, all over Europe now. Their bird their 1809 01:52:20,550 --> 01:52:26,010 local versions of the FCC are clamping down and are taking 1810 01:52:26,010 --> 01:52:29,220 away pieces of spectrum for special events and all kinds of 1811 01:52:29,220 --> 01:52:30,150 weird stuff. 1812 01:52:30,390 --> 01:52:32,790 Yeah, that's gonna happen here if we don't get everybody 1813 01:52:32,790 --> 01:52:33,330 involved. 1814 01:52:33,690 --> 01:52:37,440 Now, speaking of this type of legislation, let me just go to 1815 01:52:37,470 --> 01:52:41,820 Euro land for a moment I received a document. A second 1816 01:52:41,820 --> 01:52:48,180 let me open this up here. Now the, the European cyber the 1817 01:52:48,180 --> 01:53:00,330 European Starfleet Command, created a document known as the 1818 01:53:00,360 --> 01:53:05,310 European audiovisual media services directive. Now this is 1819 01:53:05,310 --> 01:53:08,520 a very complicated and I have a link in the show notes to it so 1820 01:53:08,520 --> 01:53:14,970 you can take a look very, very complicated set of legislative 1821 01:53:14,970 --> 01:53:18,930 documents. Again, it is the European audio visual media 1822 01:53:18,930 --> 01:53:25,290 services directive. And the idea behind this is that all local 1823 01:53:25,290 --> 01:53:30,840 state based media commissaries are Commission's like the FCC 1824 01:53:30,840 --> 01:53:34,620 for each individual state in the Euro land zone which I have the 1825 01:53:34,620 --> 01:53:39,420 nether the Dutch example, use that directive to create laws 1826 01:53:39,450 --> 01:53:45,930 about audio visual media services. And the interpretation 1827 01:53:46,530 --> 01:53:53,340 is astounding. So I would like to just read for you what is 1828 01:53:53,370 --> 01:53:57,360 actually going on in the Euro land zone. This is the Dutch 1829 01:53:57,360 --> 01:54:00,990 version of the Media Authority known as the Como Sati out for 1830 01:54:00,990 --> 01:54:06,870 the media and they have harmonized their Dutch media act 1831 01:54:07,170 --> 01:54:12,090 with the European audiovisual media services directive. So, 1832 01:54:12,090 --> 01:54:14,850 this brochure that I have which you can find marked up in the 1833 01:54:14,850 --> 01:54:17,250 show notes we do that as a service by the way highlighted 1834 01:54:18,180 --> 01:54:21,060 provides information about the provision of a commercial media 1835 01:54:21,060 --> 01:54:26,760 service on demand and the laws you have to follow if you have 1836 01:54:26,760 --> 01:54:30,060 that. First of all, if you have a commercial media or if you are 1837 01:54:30,060 --> 01:54:33,810 a commercial media services provider, you must register as 1838 01:54:33,810 --> 01:54:37,050 an on demand service within two weeks of starting, you have to 1839 01:54:37,050 --> 01:54:44,100 register. So what is an on demand media service well, if 1840 01:54:44,250 --> 01:54:47,940 all of the criteria below are met, you are an on demand media 1841 01:54:47,940 --> 01:54:51,120 service. If a it is a distributed if is distributed 1842 01:54:51,120 --> 01:54:53,700 via public electronic communications network. 1843 01:54:55,140 --> 01:54:56,910 I know where you're going with this. 1844 01:54:58,770 --> 01:55:01,860 Let me finish the listener I want to hear it is based on a 1845 01:55:01,860 --> 01:55:07,620 catalogue. It consists of videos and has the primary purpose of 1846 01:55:07,620 --> 01:55:12,810 offering videos. It falls under the editorial responsibility of 1847 01:55:12,810 --> 01:55:16,830 the provider. So it means not like a you know, like I'm just 1848 01:55:16,830 --> 01:55:19,830 put a stuff you want on it, you actually have editorial control. 1849 01:55:20,430 --> 01:55:25,800 It has a mass media character, and can be seen as an economic 1850 01:55:25,800 --> 01:55:31,290 service. That's pretty much anyone who starts anything with 1851 01:55:31,290 --> 01:55:32,700 video on the internet. 1852 01:55:33,300 --> 01:55:36,090 That's what I'm thinking. Well, don't worry. If you recall, and 1853 01:55:36,090 --> 01:55:40,710 it's I in the book read not I'm not I'm not sure. We have talked 1854 01:55:40,710 --> 01:55:47,130 about licensing blogs. Thank for years, literally. Yep. And I've 1855 01:55:47,130 --> 01:55:49,920 always wondered when they're going to drop the hammer on this 1856 01:55:49,920 --> 01:55:53,850 and say, Hey, did you get your blog license? I mean, we we have 1857 01:55:53,850 --> 01:55:57,180 a podcasting license system and the no agenda show but the blog 1858 01:55:57,180 --> 01:56:02,670 was the idea of actually having a needing a fee based license so 1859 01:56:02,670 --> 01:56:05,370 that so the fees can go to somebody like the FCC who won't 1860 01:56:05,370 --> 01:56:07,680 show up at the National Association of Broadcasters 1861 01:56:07,740 --> 01:56:11,940 using a bogus excuse. beside the point. There's a fee based thing 1862 01:56:11,940 --> 01:56:15,480 involved and there'll be no oversight to be enforcement that 1863 01:56:15,480 --> 01:56:18,840 being a whole agency of enforcement officers going 1864 01:56:18,840 --> 01:56:20,790 through the blow this is illegal. 1865 01:56:21,150 --> 01:56:25,350 May I read? Number four regulatory fees media service 1866 01:56:25,350 --> 01:56:28,320 providers that offer commercial media services on demand shell 1867 01:56:28,320 --> 01:56:31,740 Oh, the Dutch media authority a fixed amount for each individual 1868 01:56:31,740 --> 01:56:34,920 media service on demand. This amount will be set by the 1869 01:56:34,920 --> 01:56:40,920 Minister of Education, Culture and Science. Media service 1870 01:56:40,920 --> 01:56:43,920 providers that have registered will receive an invoice for this 1871 01:56:43,920 --> 01:56:47,250 from the media authority at the end of each calendar year. 1872 01:56:52,170 --> 01:56:55,470 Here's the regulation requirements advertising. 1873 01:56:55,710 --> 01:56:58,860 Advertising messages must be recognized as such by their form 1874 01:56:58,860 --> 01:57:02,460 and content. This is an ad. advertising messages must be 1875 01:57:02,460 --> 01:57:04,950 clearly distinguishable from the remaining content they are to be 1876 01:57:04,950 --> 01:57:08,550 preceded by an ended with a visible and audible book ends 1877 01:57:08,670 --> 01:57:12,150 with the statement of advertising advertisement or 1878 01:57:12,150 --> 01:57:15,750 words to that effect. Clandestine surreptitious 1879 01:57:15,750 --> 01:57:19,980 advertising is prohibited in all cases, advertising for medical 1880 01:57:19,980 --> 01:57:21,570 treatments is not permitted. 1881 01:57:21,900 --> 01:57:25,320 But really so product placement is out. 1882 01:57:25,830 --> 01:57:28,440 sponsorship and product placement for sponsored media 1883 01:57:28,440 --> 01:57:31,470 content. All sponsors must in all cases be listed at the 1884 01:57:31,470 --> 01:57:34,830 beginning or at the end in order to inform the audience. The 1885 01:57:34,830 --> 01:57:39,210 sponsorship reference credit is not solicitous. So let's So 1886 01:57:39,210 --> 01:57:45,810 listen to this video content that content consists of news, 1887 01:57:46,020 --> 01:57:50,250 current events, or political information may not be 1888 01:57:50,250 --> 01:57:58,410 sponsored. Oh, this is amazing to me. How does this stuff even 1889 01:57:58,410 --> 01:58:01,710 get that far? Because no one's paying attention because they're 1890 01:58:01,710 --> 01:58:03,090 all watching the voice. 1891 01:58:03,870 --> 01:58:08,430 No, actually what they're watching and I have a clip is 1892 01:58:08,430 --> 01:58:15,240 golf. As most of these greens are pushed up greens and 1893 01:58:15,240 --> 01:58:18,240 anything right or left you never get a good bounce. Let's go to 1894 01:58:18,240 --> 01:58:18,750 15 1895 01:58:18,780 --> 01:58:25,860 Marcel's seem now from 175 yards with his second boy his round 1896 01:58:25,890 --> 01:58:29,460 just came apart back at 12 with that triple John Yeah, that's 1897 01:58:29,460 --> 01:58:35,490 that's tough. He was going so nicely. So tap in bird there for 1898 01:58:35,490 --> 01:58:40,080 Marcel see him get him to seven under. Wow. Yeah. Okay. 1899 01:58:40,830 --> 01:58:42,240 Who watches this stuff? 1900 01:58:42,269 --> 01:58:48,449 28 seconds of my life gone. erased from history. Oh, let's 1901 01:58:48,449 --> 01:58:52,139 just stay with the Euro with the Euro land zone. So I thought 1902 01:58:52,139 --> 01:58:55,829 this was Oh, it didn't I got you slipped into golf. Thank you. 1903 01:58:55,949 --> 01:58:57,329 You watch it, apparently. 1904 01:58:57,660 --> 01:59:01,860 Oh, no, I was. You know, just channel surfing and I heard this 1905 01:59:01,860 --> 01:59:04,440 is it. This is the most idiotic thing I've ever seen. I clipped 1906 01:59:04,440 --> 01:59:04,560 it 1907 01:59:05,910 --> 01:59:08,430 in. Let's see a Polish magazine. 1908 01:59:09,420 --> 01:59:12,810 I'm thinking we're gonna get hit. You have to have a license 1909 01:59:12,810 --> 01:59:13,740 to do this show. 1910 01:59:14,400 --> 01:59:18,120 Well, I don't know. We might get lucky because it's like 1911 01:59:18,450 --> 01:59:22,110 podcasts. It gives a crap. That's how those elites think 1912 01:59:22,110 --> 01:59:27,210 video video is what it is about in the euro zone video. We can't 1913 01:59:27,210 --> 01:59:31,950 have them doing video. We that's a propaganda tool. I just want 1914 01:59:31,950 --> 01:59:34,470 to I don't care about this. I went from Russian to Austria, 1915 01:59:34,470 --> 01:59:37,770 Austria and I was pretty good. It was very good. A Polish 1916 01:59:37,770 --> 01:59:44,460 magazine has put Angular Merkel on the cover of their magazine 1917 01:59:45,150 --> 01:59:53,190 dressed as a an Auschwitz prisoner. behind barbed wire. 1918 01:59:54,420 --> 01:59:58,530 And it's getting pretty rough there. In fact, did you see the 1919 01:59:58,620 --> 02:00:00,780 check this out John You have a browser? 1920 02:00:01,110 --> 02:00:04,140 Yeah. Hold on. Browser ready? Yeah. 1921 02:00:04,800 --> 02:00:11,640 Okay. Merkel picture.curry.com. All right. Merkel 1922 02:00:11,640 --> 02:00:14,880 picture.curry.com. Do it for the chat room does. 1923 02:00:15,210 --> 02:00:20,820 I'm getting there. One thing you need more bandwidth the way you 1924 02:00:20,820 --> 02:00:21,120 do this, 1925 02:00:22,170 --> 02:00:25,410 or bandwidth. That's enough bandwidth. Merkel 1926 02:00:25,410 --> 02:00:26,730 picture.curry.com. 1927 02:00:26,730 --> 02:00:29,220 waiting for it to come up. I think the chatroom would be they 1928 02:00:29,220 --> 02:00:36,000 might have Nope, there it is. How awesome was that picture? Is 1929 02:00:36,000 --> 02:00:38,340 that a real picture? I think it's a real picture. Yeah. And 1930 02:00:38,340 --> 02:00:39,540 that's her on the left. That would 1931 02:00:39,690 --> 02:00:42,720 correct. Yeah. Looks like you're done it. Yeah. It doesn't look 1932 02:00:42,720 --> 02:00:43,950 photoshopped. It looks cheap. 1933 02:00:44,370 --> 02:00:47,310 There have a bunch of Germans have a lot of these nude 1934 02:00:47,310 --> 02:00:49,980 beaches. Yep. And 1935 02:00:50,280 --> 02:00:53,010 actually, you know, when it comes to kind of Rubenesque 1936 02:00:53,040 --> 02:00:56,070 women, she, I mean, she was okay. 1937 02:00:56,730 --> 02:01:02,280 She actually has a figure. Yeah. Had. Yeah. Had a thunder side 1938 02:01:02,280 --> 02:01:03,330 look, but that's okay. 1939 02:01:03,690 --> 02:01:06,000 We'll have one what happened to the babes on the right. 1940 02:01:07,350 --> 02:01:11,940 One of them? Oh, no, the one in the middle. I don't know it's 1941 02:01:13,260 --> 02:01:14,370 working for still. 1942 02:01:14,670 --> 02:01:18,030 By the way. If you see chat room, if you look at this, you 1943 02:01:18,030 --> 02:01:22,290 will never be able to get this image will be burned into 1944 02:01:22,290 --> 02:01:25,710 your retina? Probably not a good thing. Sorry. Sorry. That 1945 02:01:25,710 --> 02:01:27,300 happened. Yeah, all apologies. 1946 02:01:28,350 --> 02:01:32,580 No apologies. And then this is an this is my final bit on the 1947 02:01:32,580 --> 02:01:36,360 Euro lens zone. So if you didn't think it was bad enough that 1948 02:01:36,360 --> 02:01:44,310 your European Human Rights essentially forces you into 1949 02:01:44,310 --> 02:01:48,030 giving up your possessions ie your money, if it's in the 1950 02:01:48,030 --> 02:01:53,010 public interest. And we read this to you on Sunday. The 1951 02:01:53,010 --> 02:01:58,320 European Union is now looking at interbank deposits. When a bank 1952 02:01:58,320 --> 02:02:01,050 is failing as a part of the bail in this is their new the new 1953 02:02:01,050 --> 02:02:05,940 meme. So what this means is, if a bank in Oh, I don't know, 1954 02:02:05,970 --> 02:02:10,470 Portugal, or Spain is about to fail, the IMF will no longer 1955 02:02:10,470 --> 02:02:13,290 bail it out. Because that's what the ESM is for. We warned you 1956 02:02:13,290 --> 02:02:16,560 about that. So the ESM will not bail out the bank, the 1957 02:02:16,590 --> 02:02:22,350 depositors and investors shall bail in the bank. And if that's 1958 02:02:22,350 --> 02:02:26,580 not enough, they will take any money that is has been lent to 1959 02:02:26,580 --> 02:02:30,510 them by another bank. Say let's say you have an ABN AMRO account 1960 02:02:30,510 --> 02:02:36,960 or an ing or Rambo bank account, that money will be used for the 1961 02:02:36,960 --> 02:02:39,810 bailin. So they're actually going to take money from your 1962 02:02:39,810 --> 02:02:41,610 bank in a whole different country. 1963 02:02:43,680 --> 02:02:44,460 Why Wow. 1964 02:02:45,570 --> 02:02:51,240 Yeah. And this is like us just okay. links in the show notes, 1965 02:02:51,240 --> 02:02:51,900 Wall Street Journal. 1966 02:02:52,770 --> 02:02:56,250 This just this is amazing that the public is putting up with 1967 02:02:56,250 --> 02:02:56,460 this. 1968 02:02:56,610 --> 02:03:01,500 John, they are they're watching. They're watching golf. You're so 1969 02:03:01,500 --> 02:03:07,080 right. Although the public in America, there's something about 1970 02:03:07,080 --> 02:03:12,060 America when it comes to humor. We just kick ass. Did you see 1971 02:03:12,060 --> 02:03:16,350 that? Michelle Obama did a Twitter thing. She had a hashtag 1972 02:03:16,350 --> 02:03:21,780 it was so so stupid. So she you should never do this by the way 1973 02:03:21,780 --> 02:03:25,590 people if you want to learn how to do public relations, call the 1974 02:03:25,590 --> 02:03:29,100 curry Devorah Consulting Group don't just like don't listen to 1975 02:03:29,100 --> 02:03:36,810 your your own people. So she did a I guess what she wanted to do 1976 02:03:36,810 --> 02:03:40,920 is kind of like an AMA like an Ask Me Anything read it. Except, 1977 02:03:40,920 --> 02:03:43,260 you know, of course she's Michelle Obama. So she's not 1978 02:03:43,260 --> 02:03:45,480 gonna do that already. thing. No, I'm going to do it on 1979 02:03:45,480 --> 02:03:50,430 Twitter with the hashtag ask FLOTUS. FLOTUS stands for First 1980 02:03:50,430 --> 02:03:55,200 Lady of the United States. So the hashtag got hijacked very 1981 02:03:55,200 --> 02:03:57,330 quickly. Shall I read you some of the 1982 02:03:57,540 --> 02:04:02,580 I'm sure that these idiots have any clue about what's really 1983 02:04:02,580 --> 02:04:03,750 going on out there. Now. 1984 02:04:05,040 --> 02:04:07,380 This hubris they think they think that they think they can 1985 02:04:07,380 --> 02:04:10,500 do anything they want. Now that you can go look at the hashtag 1986 02:04:10,500 --> 02:04:13,020 now. And there's still lots of fun stuff. I'll just read a 1987 02:04:13,020 --> 02:04:16,260 couple. Which of your three kids is the hardest to control? 1988 02:04:16,260 --> 02:04:22,620 Sasha, Malia or Joe? Is there a better way to fight obesity than 1989 02:04:22,620 --> 02:04:27,180 making people too poor to afford food? Float is a good one. Good 1990 02:04:27,180 --> 02:04:30,210 one. Do you feel guilty your family vacations have crossed 1991 02:04:30,210 --> 02:04:33,450 over $1 billion and you're turning kids away from the White 1992 02:04:33,450 --> 02:04:37,470 House on there's good wine. If our public schools are so good, 1993 02:04:37,470 --> 02:04:41,040 then why don't your kids go to them? Have you considered 1994 02:04:41,040 --> 02:04:44,250 canceling let's move as a means of further exaggerating the 1995 02:04:44,250 --> 02:04:48,780 impact of sequester. What's the best vacation destination to 1996 02:04:48,780 --> 02:04:51,690 escape to when you really feel like spending my tax dollars and 1997 02:04:51,690 --> 02:04:52,410 style? 1998 02:04:54,630 --> 02:04:56,790 Did they not expect this where in 1999 02:04:56,790 --> 02:04:59,730 the constitution does it state the First Lady of the United 2000 02:04:59,730 --> 02:05:04,440 States She'll tell kids what to eat. How weird is it to present 2001 02:05:04,440 --> 02:05:08,250 the Oscar for best movie about the successful rescue of embassy 2002 02:05:08,250 --> 02:05:13,230 personnel? Whoo. That's a good one. When your hashtag gets 2003 02:05:13,230 --> 02:05:16,470 hijacked, are you mad at Al Gore for inventing the internet? 2004 02:05:18,480 --> 02:05:20,190 These are great. Americans are 2005 02:05:20,190 --> 02:05:23,430 fantastic. Now where did the commenters they're always good 2006 02:05:23,430 --> 02:05:24,390 for a laugh? Yeah. 2007 02:05:24,509 --> 02:05:28,109 I mean, we grew but we are the trolls of the universe, by the 2008 02:05:28,109 --> 02:05:34,019 way. And of course, then we have so you know, because of the Ryan 2009 02:05:34,019 --> 02:05:38,129 Seacrest stration you know, the White House tours are canceled 2010 02:05:38,129 --> 02:05:42,839 However soon to be a televised I believe on April 16 on our 2011 02:05:42,839 --> 02:05:45,209 national treasure PBS. 2012 02:05:50,610 --> 02:05:59,910 Mr. President, everybody come up. Right everybody? Bachchan I 2013 02:05:59,910 --> 02:06:02,430 wish I could get me some Justin Timberlake to perform at the 2014 02:06:02,430 --> 02:06:07,860 White House. This is they the the administration even knows 2015 02:06:07,860 --> 02:06:13,440 the Obamas. But they must be insane. To think that it's okay 2016 02:06:13,590 --> 02:06:21,000 to have a Memphis soul night at the White House. A Memphis soul 2017 02:06:21,000 --> 02:06:26,430 night with you know, Justin Timberlake. And you know, to 2018 02:06:26,430 --> 02:06:31,050 have you know, the elites of the elites swing in and out. And 2019 02:06:31,080 --> 02:06:35,010 they're actually going to televise this, John. They're 2020 02:06:35,010 --> 02:06:39,840 gonna put it on television. just thrown it in your face. So I 2021 02:06:39,840 --> 02:06:43,650 wish I could do his voice man, because I have the transcript of 2022 02:06:43,650 --> 02:06:46,410 what the President said they even published the transcript. 2023 02:06:47,460 --> 02:06:50,220 Everybody, please have a seat. Give it up for our musical 2024 02:06:50,220 --> 02:06:54,990 director Booker T. And the Memphis soul all stars. I just 2025 02:06:54,990 --> 02:06:58,620 want everyone to know it's my second term. So rather than Hail 2026 02:06:58,620 --> 02:07:02,130 to the Chief we're going to go on without their little change 2027 02:07:02,130 --> 02:07:09,150 in tradition. Oh, before we get started, I'm going to exercise 2028 02:07:09,150 --> 02:07:12,450 some presidential prerogative to say a few words about two very 2029 02:07:12,450 --> 02:07:15,810 special people who are here with us tonight. This will humiliate 2030 02:07:15,810 --> 02:07:20,790 them but I'm going to go ahead and do it anyway. Oh, actually. 2031 02:07:22,500 --> 02:07:26,610 There it doesn't actually does say applause in here. Tonight, 2032 02:07:26,640 --> 02:07:29,310 I'm speaking not just as president but as one of 2033 02:07:29,310 --> 02:07:35,310 America's best known Al Green impersonators. So I have a new 2034 02:07:35,310 --> 02:07:38,070 appreciation for what Al once said about the Memphis soul 2035 02:07:38,070 --> 02:07:44,400 sound that he helped create. Justin, stop, stop blowing the 2036 02:07:44,400 --> 02:07:48,000 whistle, Justin. We don't even know ourselves how the music has 2037 02:07:48,000 --> 02:07:51,810 endured for so long and how it came out of us. It just goes on 2038 02:07:51,810 --> 02:07:53,580 and on and on and on on. 2039 02:07:54,630 --> 02:07:55,470 God 2040 02:07:55,500 --> 02:07:59,760 it really we've got folks here who are at the beginning legends 2041 02:07:59,760 --> 02:08:02,760 like Mavis Staples, Charlie Musselwhite, William Bell and 2042 02:08:02,760 --> 02:08:05,970 Eddie Floyd. We've got artists like Cyndi Lauper and Ben Harper 2043 02:08:06,000 --> 02:08:06,990 and Queen Latifah, 2044 02:08:07,260 --> 02:08:11,250 Charlie Musselwhite lives over here in Marin. Pretty sure Queen 2045 02:08:11,250 --> 02:08:15,570 Latifah. Cyndi Lauper shame on you Justin Timberlake. Shame on 2046 02:08:15,570 --> 02:08:23,340 you. Shame on you. Let them eat cake bitches shame on you. Just 2047 02:08:23,340 --> 02:08:24,420 shame on you. How can 2048 02:08:24,810 --> 02:08:30,840 Diane see BB King? They're dead. EB Keno is still kicking. You 2049 02:08:30,840 --> 02:08:34,950 sure? Pretty sure if he's dead? I'd be surprised. Let me see. 2050 02:08:35,100 --> 02:08:36,840 I'll check the book. acknowledge what you're talking 2051 02:08:36,870 --> 02:08:44,160 now. Well, I'm gonna play the jingle No, he's not 10 He must 2052 02:08:44,160 --> 02:08:45,240 be incapacitated. 2053 02:08:45,330 --> 02:08:46,290 He's 87 2054 02:08:47,040 --> 02:08:49,110 They don't eat then you're not gonna invite him but I want to 2055 02:08:49,110 --> 02:08:53,460 live in people. We want people that we can groove to quality 2056 02:08:53,460 --> 02:08:58,800 for clearly Memphis soul baby. Queen was Jay Z. I'm sorry. Jay 2057 02:08:58,800 --> 02:09:04,830 Z was on his treasury sanction junket to, to Cuba. This was 2058 02:09:04,830 --> 02:09:12,210 weird. So Jay Z and Bianca. They go to Cuba. And apparently, the 2059 02:09:12,210 --> 02:09:16,530 Treasury is the one who approves trips to Cuba. Did you know 2060 02:09:16,530 --> 02:09:17,010 this? 2061 02:09:19,170 --> 02:09:20,430 No. What what? 2062 02:09:21,600 --> 02:09:23,340 Well, I can I can give me no, 2063 02:09:23,400 --> 02:09:25,980 I know if you're a journalist. You can get it easily get a visa 2064 02:09:25,980 --> 02:09:28,140 and go there. But you had to find some way to get there. But 2065 02:09:28,140 --> 02:09:29,040 that's still 2066 02:09:29,430 --> 02:09:32,250 apparently under the Treasury treasury. So here's a question 2067 02:09:32,250 --> 02:09:34,110 came up in the White House press briefing. Well, 2068 02:09:36,270 --> 02:09:38,280 two members of Congress have written to the Treasury 2069 02:09:38,280 --> 02:09:41,490 Department expressing concern about the trip to Cuba last week 2070 02:09:41,490 --> 02:09:44,880 by Beyonce and Jay Z. The White House share the concerns that 2071 02:09:44,880 --> 02:09:49,590 somehow the travel restrictions have been pulled out a little 2072 02:09:49,590 --> 02:09:53,400 bit. People people traveled it's not allowed for tourism. 2073 02:09:54,480 --> 02:09:59,490 Well, I would say a couple of things. Decisions made about 2074 02:09:59,520 --> 02:10:04,860 cultural All travel and academic travel are made by the Treasury 2075 02:10:04,860 --> 02:10:07,440 Department and I would refer you for specific cases to the 2076 02:10:07,440 --> 02:10:10,260 Treasury Department. It has certainly been the case that 2077 02:10:10,260 --> 02:10:13,560 under this administration, we have eased the ability to travel 2078 02:10:13,560 --> 02:10:17,790 to Cuba for those purposes. But the decisions at the individual 2079 02:10:17,790 --> 02:10:21,780 level are made at the Treasury Department, not here. The trip 2080 02:10:21,780 --> 02:10:24,420 was sort of filled by them. And by the Cuban government or the 2081 02:10:24,420 --> 02:10:26,640 tourism Tribune, that's not a White House matter. That's a 2082 02:10:26,640 --> 02:10:27,510 treasury matter. 2083 02:10:27,540 --> 02:10:33,270 So they mentioned here people, two people, and this is The 2084 02:10:33,270 --> 02:10:37,950 Nonprofit people two people were started in 1961 by Eisenhower. 2085 02:10:39,030 --> 02:10:43,590 And it was intended to be you know, to have you know, I guess 2086 02:10:43,590 --> 02:10:46,980 hands across the border have children and it literally is for 2087 02:10:46,980 --> 02:10:53,400 children. It's for college kids and children to travel to not 2088 02:10:53,400 --> 02:10:58,140 just Cuba but to all kinds of places and this nonprofit is in 2089 02:10:58,140 --> 02:11:05,580 cahoots with Let me see. I have it here to people to people 2090 02:11:05,580 --> 02:11:10,170 international with Ambassador groups, Inc, a specialized group 2091 02:11:10,170 --> 02:11:15,120 of travel and educational service providers. And the only 2092 02:11:15,120 --> 02:11:19,260 real thing I could find there is discovery student adventures, 2093 02:11:19,380 --> 02:11:22,920 the whole thing is very very weird and I think maybe just a 2094 02:11:22,920 --> 02:11:27,720 really expensive commercial for one of these travel providers. 2095 02:11:28,650 --> 02:11:32,490 Now that they got JSY in and beyond key I mean they charge 2096 02:11:32,490 --> 02:11:35,760 millions of dollars I'm sure for this I mean why do we want to 2097 02:11:35,790 --> 02:11:40,440 promote tourism in Cuba it's really strange 2098 02:11:40,440 --> 02:11:42,900 but it's maybe it's telling us something we need to 2099 02:11:43,050 --> 02:11:45,420 well this this is why I bring it up because I don't really 2100 02:11:45,420 --> 02:11:48,540 understand what it is people the people you hear it reference and 2101 02:11:48,540 --> 02:11:54,990 people the people they go to the Treasury and get permission to 2102 02:11:54,990 --> 02:12:01,020 allow this type of travel and I don't understand why the eight I 2103 02:12:01,020 --> 02:12:05,850 mean Bianchi and Jay Z they don't seem like students 2104 02:12:06,900 --> 02:12:09,720 it doesn't seem like students let's see first they get jump in 2105 02:12:09,720 --> 02:12:12,900 their private jet there's not really a problem to get to Cuba. 2106 02:12:12,930 --> 02:12:16,590 Yeah, so the jump in the private jet zoom over there and they do 2107 02:12:16,590 --> 02:12:20,580 a concert obviously as a concert and I didn't see a concert might 2108 02:12:20,580 --> 02:12:25,830 not be you know, my private elite concert for the right 2109 02:12:25,860 --> 02:12:27,630 douchebags that run the place this is why 2110 02:12:27,660 --> 02:12:30,030 there was a conflict that would they couldn't make the Memphis 2111 02:12:30,030 --> 02:12:33,600 soul night because they weren't Kuba. Yeah the private concert 2112 02:12:33,600 --> 02:12:38,370 Castro's and probably did. So here's here's the negotiation. 2113 02:12:38,370 --> 02:12:38,700 Here's how 2114 02:12:38,700 --> 02:12:41,670 it goes. Here's how it goes. So who is it now who's in charge of 2115 02:12:41,670 --> 02:12:42,150 Kuba? 2116 02:12:43,800 --> 02:12:45,030 Do Dave cash Okay, 2117 02:12:45,060 --> 02:12:50,550 so Dave, rather, so Dave is like, hey, Buck. Now that's 2118 02:12:50,670 --> 02:12:52,770 because he's from Israeli now. Apparently. 2119 02:12:54,300 --> 02:12:57,750 It's Fidel Castro his brother's name, actually, Dave. So Dave 2120 02:12:57,750 --> 02:12:59,220 was gonna be Dave from now on. So 2121 02:12:59,250 --> 02:13:03,390 today, Dave calls up and says, Hey, you know, I really want to 2122 02:13:03,390 --> 02:13:06,000 continue to be in a hole. Because, you know, I've been 2123 02:13:06,000 --> 02:13:08,940 doing that since the Kennedy days, you know, and my brother, 2124 02:13:08,940 --> 02:13:11,520 you know, he's like, tired now and you know, He's drooling and 2125 02:13:11,520 --> 02:13:14,910 he's in a wheelchair, but it's my turn now. And if you want me 2126 02:13:14,910 --> 02:13:18,630 to continue to be in a hall, I have, here's what I want. I want 2127 02:13:18,660 --> 02:13:23,190 Bianchi and Jay Z to perform on my birthday. Send him 2128 02:13:24,210 --> 02:13:26,160 okay, hold on a second. We're gonna find out this guy's 2129 02:13:26,160 --> 02:13:31,560 birthday might be that exactly what you just said. Raul Castro. 2130 02:13:32,130 --> 02:13:38,070 So that is a whole shitload of Castro's Okay, bro? Nope. June 2131 02:13:38,070 --> 02:13:38,580 3. 2132 02:13:39,660 --> 02:13:41,100 So it's not his birthday. 2133 02:13:41,760 --> 02:13:46,170 So let's see who's probably is somebody's birthday though. Oh, 2134 02:13:46,230 --> 02:13:49,920 well, Raul was first put in as the first Secretary of the 2135 02:13:49,920 --> 02:13:54,240 Communist Party in 19. April, so that's an anniversary. But 2136 02:13:54,240 --> 02:13:57,900 that's in the 19th that's in a week looking for any other 2137 02:13:57,930 --> 02:14:01,290 connections to April. Now, 2138 02:14:02,100 --> 02:14:05,220 the oldest woman in Cuba celebrated her birthday. No, do 2139 02:14:05,220 --> 02:14:12,090 you think she's you got it? No, I don't know. We don't know 2140 02:14:12,090 --> 02:14:15,420 everything but I didn't know we don't but we have a clue that's 2141 02:14:15,660 --> 02:14:18,420 but it's probably money laundering if anything I mean 2142 02:14:18,420 --> 02:14:22,260 look at these these nonprofits and so I guess the nonprofit can 2143 02:14:22,260 --> 02:14:25,770 then they probably spent money or you know, it's got to be 2144 02:14:26,010 --> 02:14:29,370 a load the plane up with cash or come back and we get a bunch of 2145 02:14:29,370 --> 02:14:32,070 this dollar bills. Nobody we don't want like our public using 2146 02:14:32,070 --> 02:14:34,860 him. Can you just send a plane it will just ship ship? Yes. 2147 02:14:34,890 --> 02:14:41,610 pallets. Exactly. Exactly. Exactly. Hence the Treasury. 2148 02:14:41,940 --> 02:14:46,380 Yeah. That would make sense. And the only reason why the Treasury 2149 02:14:46,410 --> 02:14:50,670 is you know, they can block assets and people with assets 2150 02:14:51,060 --> 02:14:53,760 from traveling and doing stuff so maybe it has to be something 2151 02:14:53,760 --> 02:14:54,420 like that then. 2152 02:14:55,110 --> 02:14:56,910 Well, we'll never know. 2153 02:14:58,440 --> 02:15:02,760 Baseball baseball bats don't they play good baseball? 2154 02:15:03,239 --> 02:15:10,259 Oh yeah. No Berry Berry Good baseball. Newsflash is this guy 2155 02:15:10,259 --> 02:15:14,249 named cesspits who's with the Oakland A's. The guy is 2156 02:15:14,369 --> 02:15:17,669 tremendous. I think last year was first year Sunday a 2157 02:15:17,669 --> 02:15:20,969 fantastic player. Ron can throw 2158 02:15:21,840 --> 02:15:24,720 and then I'm going to shut up for a bit but I do have some 2159 02:15:24,720 --> 02:15:30,060 important al Qaeda Inc news. As you know, al Qaeda is of course, 2160 02:15:30,300 --> 02:15:33,390 Incorporated and that we've heard many of the elites talk 2161 02:15:33,390 --> 02:15:37,050 about their their corporate business, the corporate dealings 2162 02:15:37,110 --> 02:15:42,240 meeting and the board meetings. alkaitis branch in Iraq says it 2163 02:15:42,240 --> 02:15:46,140 has merged with serious armed opposition group Jabbar Al 2164 02:15:46,140 --> 02:15:50,460 Nusra. A move that shows the rising confidence of hardliners 2165 02:15:50,460 --> 02:15:56,940 within the Syrian rebel movement. So this is a a merger 2166 02:15:56,970 --> 02:16:00,990 of sorts. I don't know if it was a reverse merger. But it is a 2167 02:16:00,990 --> 02:16:04,230 merger nonetheless, sounds like a reverse merger and reverse 2168 02:16:04,230 --> 02:16:07,620 merger and then I have a document which you will find 2169 02:16:07,620 --> 02:16:15,210 only in our show notes. It is titled AQ ECA. It is from the is 2170 02:16:15,210 --> 02:16:18,750 the National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration 2171 02:16:18,750 --> 02:16:23,580 Center. It is a document and I think we needed to read through 2172 02:16:23,580 --> 02:16:29,220 this as it pertains to the cyber warfare coming to America. 2173 02:16:30,180 --> 02:16:34,560 Remember, we are the We Are The Web Warriors. You and me, John. 2174 02:16:36,030 --> 02:16:39,510 We are the cyber what do we call our show 2175 02:16:39,630 --> 02:16:44,220 the protectors of all things real Galletti police garden 2176 02:16:44,370 --> 02:16:48,720 garden reality we are the cyber soldiers that kilobyte combat 2177 02:16:48,720 --> 02:16:52,920 Commandos, the Web Warriors, the mega bit battle nots, the 2178 02:16:52,920 --> 02:16:59,160 database desk thirds, that's us. We now have to look out for the 2179 02:16:59,160 --> 02:17:04,230 Tunisian cyber army. recent attacks targeting the Pentagon 2180 02:17:04,230 --> 02:17:06,930 Department of State Customs and Border Protection. Office of 2181 02:17:06,930 --> 02:17:10,440 Personnel Management had been claimed by the Tunisian cyber 2182 02:17:10,440 --> 02:17:15,840 army also known as the TCA under the hashtag op black summer. 2183 02:17:17,460 --> 02:17:24,900 These people really take this seriously. February 2184 02:17:25,020 --> 02:17:28,200 to me, by the way, it's the tennis ball Cricket Association. 2185 02:17:28,200 --> 02:17:32,370 Right. That's the TCA also the Television Critics Association 2186 02:17:32,370 --> 02:17:36,030 thoroughbred charities of America recent Texas Commission 2187 02:17:36,030 --> 02:17:36,630 on the Arts 2188 02:17:36,719 --> 02:17:40,529 recent tweet this is an official US government document. recent 2189 02:17:40,529 --> 02:17:45,539 tweets, claims and operational focuses have indicated that the 2190 02:17:45,539 --> 02:17:50,579 Tunisian cyber army TCA is being influenced and or assisted by 2191 02:17:50,579 --> 02:17:55,799 other nefarious actors sets. For example, the two most recent 2192 02:17:55,799 --> 02:17:59,339 attacks targeting the Pentagon and state involved are you ready 2193 02:17:59,339 --> 02:18:03,509 for it? The Al Qaeda electronic cyber army 2194 02:18:06,120 --> 02:18:09,630 they're a crock of crap. There appears to be the business to 2195 02:18:09,630 --> 02:18:10,950 get into there appears 2196 02:18:10,950 --> 02:18:14,580 to be no open source history of this particular subset of al 2197 02:18:14,580 --> 02:18:17,610 Qaeda. There's very little evidence to show that the al 2198 02:18:17,610 --> 02:18:21,360 Qaeda hacker team has been active prior to the past 60 days 2199 02:18:21,360 --> 02:18:28,380 or so. However, fact the al Qaeda electronic cyber army is a 2200 02:18:28,380 --> 02:18:33,900 force to be reckoned with. So these these two they track in 2201 02:18:33,900 --> 02:18:37,590 his documents social media, recent Twitter posts from the 2202 02:18:37,620 --> 02:18:40,680 Tunisia cyber army also indicate that they are going to start 2203 02:18:40,680 --> 02:18:44,760 potentially targeting the energy sector as per the direction of 2204 02:18:44,760 --> 02:18:50,760 the al Qaeda cyber Electronic Army leadership. Here's the 2205 02:18:50,760 --> 02:18:51,360 tweets 2206 02:18:51,420 --> 02:18:55,710 how do they how does anyone bite believe any of this bogus crap 2207 02:18:55,739 --> 02:19:01,109 so they have a hashtag AC e CAQ ECA 2208 02:19:03,059 --> 02:19:05,249 I mean che let me write let me get a que 2209 02:19:05,250 --> 02:19:06,540 ECA hashtag 2210 02:19:06,570 --> 02:19:09,480 AQE ca 2211 02:19:09,510 --> 02:19:12,540 and the and the heritage they literally have this in their 2212 02:19:12,540 --> 02:19:13,080 document 2213 02:19:13,410 --> 02:19:16,980 oh my god there's they have a logo Yeah. We can we can send in a drone, but Oh, no, no, no, 2221 02:19:48,960 --> 02:19:50,130 just leave it be. 2222 02:19:50,850 --> 02:19:53,460 So we can lose video you might want to run the video that's 2223 02:19:53,460 --> 02:19:57,720 sitting at the top of the posts. Hold on a second. Where's the 2224 02:19:57,720 --> 02:19:58,530 hashtag? 2225 02:20:00,510 --> 02:20:01,680 pound hash tag, 2226 02:20:02,310 --> 02:20:07,770 pound yeah exactly pound to hashtag AQ ECA and then there's 2227 02:20:07,770 --> 02:20:08,790 a video right there. 2228 02:20:08,820 --> 02:20:10,650 Really? Chrome is Oh, I see consternation. Phone call 2232 02:20:25,050 --> 02:20:35,610 from Tunisian cyber army. Okay, God could it be any slower phone 2233 02:20:35,610 --> 02:20:36,150 number 2234 02:20:36,779 --> 02:20:41,279 yeah god yeah anybody's interested as to one six to a 2235 02:20:41,279 --> 02:20:41,819 four 2236 02:20:53,520 --> 02:20:59,640 being recorded I'm sorry 2237 02:21:07,710 --> 02:21:16,770 I'm glad I did that. Boy, that's bad. It was it's plus two. It 2238 02:21:16,770 --> 02:21:20,310 was a plus. I don't know where this is. Plus 21 I guess six to 2239 02:21:20,310 --> 02:21:25,140 8418606. Anyway, it'd be alright. Just go to Twitter. You 2240 02:21:25,170 --> 02:21:27,570 get the number right there and then call them say hello. 2241 02:21:27,660 --> 02:21:33,330 Yes. In the morning to you bullcrap verse. Hey, is this 2242 02:21:33,330 --> 02:21:37,830 Langley call a call the number just Langley call the number and 2243 02:21:37,830 --> 02:21:42,630 say hello. Did I reach Langley? Is this the farm? As far as it 2244 02:21:42,630 --> 02:21:44,880 was the farm trust me. It's code. They'll know what you're 2245 02:21:44,880 --> 02:21:51,540 talking about. Just the farm? Just a farm. Unbelievable. It's 2246 02:21:51,540 --> 02:21:52,320 unbelievable. 2247 02:21:52,800 --> 02:21:55,560 Yeah, this is this has no legs. I didn't even hear this until 2248 02:21:55,560 --> 02:21:58,590 you brought it up. It's it's it's a dead end. Okay. Well, I 2249 02:21:58,590 --> 02:22:02,280 tried. I mean, it seems to me, I would have heard of it. If 2250 02:22:02,280 --> 02:22:05,910 there's anything important. No others. Okay. So I have 2251 02:22:05,910 --> 02:22:11,070 something i By the way, I'm reneging. Oh, on my claims for 2252 02:22:11,070 --> 02:22:13,470 Clip of the Day. Yeah, I don't 2253 02:22:14,550 --> 02:22:15,930 know. You don't realize 2254 02:22:16,110 --> 02:22:18,330 I don't want it. But I still want to because you did have 2255 02:22:18,330 --> 02:22:21,330 this clip first. But you didn't play it? No, I do want to play 2256 02:22:21,330 --> 02:22:24,690 this clip from this MSNBC woman. It's been 2257 02:22:24,690 --> 02:22:27,810 around, you know, this clip was also on my blog, too, 2258 02:22:27,810 --> 02:22:30,510 but it's just something we never played. And I feel bad about 2259 02:22:30,510 --> 02:22:31,950 that. Because it's something we should have played because it's 2260 02:22:31,950 --> 02:22:37,350 just, it's just a classic, you know, kind of arrogant douchebag 2261 02:22:37,860 --> 02:22:41,460 talking about how your kids don't belong to you. And I just 2262 02:22:41,460 --> 02:22:47,070 thought it was just, you know, total MSNBC propaganda garbage 2263 02:22:47,070 --> 02:22:47,880 jugs socialist, 2264 02:22:48,390 --> 02:22:52,260 we have never invested as much in public education as we should 2265 02:22:52,260 --> 02:22:54,570 have. Because we've always had kind of a private notion of 2266 02:22:54,570 --> 02:22:58,800 children, your kid is yours and totally your responsibility. We 2267 02:22:58,800 --> 02:23:01,440 haven't had a very collective notion of these are our 2268 02:23:01,440 --> 02:23:03,960 children. So part of it is we have to break through our kind 2269 02:23:03,960 --> 02:23:07,530 of private idea that kids belong to their parents or kids belong 2270 02:23:07,530 --> 02:23:09,510 to their families and recognize that kids belong to whole 2271 02:23:09,510 --> 02:23:12,480 communities once it's everybody's responsibility and 2272 02:23:12,480 --> 02:23:15,780 not just the households then we start making better investments 2273 02:23:17,730 --> 02:23:22,620 all your kid I belong to me. So drop your kid off at the schools 2274 02:23:22,620 --> 02:23:28,740 as yours now you can take a dig at home anyway, I just found it 2275 02:23:28,740 --> 02:23:32,280 was it was annoying kind of a thing Melissa Harris Perry. 2276 02:23:32,790 --> 02:23:35,370 whoever the hell she you know, she's like, she's actually 2277 02:23:35,370 --> 02:23:41,070 shows. Here's kind of a middle class black woman professional. 2278 02:23:41,280 --> 02:23:43,770 And if you actually look her up and look at her picture, she's 2279 02:23:44,100 --> 02:23:48,630 like, one step away from the Black Panther Party radical. 2280 02:23:49,800 --> 02:23:55,980 Crazy. Right? Say no, another Oh, 2281 02:23:56,340 --> 02:24:01,110 I wanted to say that. I predicted that Michigan would 2282 02:24:01,110 --> 02:24:04,500 win the the and 2283 02:24:04,859 --> 02:24:08,549 I of course said that really Louisville can't compete anyway. 2284 02:24:08,580 --> 02:24:14,670 Did you see the video? Did were you watching after the game? Is 2285 02:24:14,670 --> 02:24:19,470 it the coach Rick Pitino? Yeah. Okay. So you have to you have to 2286 02:24:19,470 --> 02:24:22,200 look for this. It's in the shownotes 503 dot na 2287 02:24:22,200 --> 02:24:25,830 shownotes.com. So of course, I was pretty sure that Michigan 2288 02:24:25,830 --> 02:24:28,110 was supposed to win because you know they need it because 2289 02:24:28,110 --> 02:24:29,550 Detroit has been hijacked 2290 02:24:29,550 --> 02:24:32,820 by but as I said Michigan, the University of Michigan is not in 2291 02:24:32,820 --> 02:24:36,780 Detroit. And you know, but anyway. Well, I think the theory 2292 02:24:36,780 --> 02:24:39,330 was valid, but I think you were well, 2293 02:24:39,690 --> 02:24:45,750 if you look, if you look at the video after the game fireworks 2294 02:24:45,750 --> 02:24:46,410 went off. 2295 02:24:46,590 --> 02:24:48,120 Oh, so you're thinking Well, wait, did 2296 02:24:48,120 --> 02:24:49,650 you see this? Did you see this? No, I 2297 02:24:49,650 --> 02:24:52,410 didn't. But can I guess what you're going to tell me? Yeah. 2298 02:24:53,670 --> 02:24:59,100 You're thinking that the fix was in for Michigan to win and they 2299 02:24:59,100 --> 02:25:02,700 couldn't But but Louisville wouldn't execute it properly or 2300 02:25:02,700 --> 02:25:05,910 so the kids didn't know about it and they didn't care or whatever 2301 02:25:05,910 --> 02:25:09,810 and so they blew it and so PITINO was showing some fear 2302 02:25:09,810 --> 02:25:11,520 because he might be killed in the next year. 2303 02:25:12,000 --> 02:25:18,180 He ducks like he's being shot at you have to see this you can 2304 02:25:18,180 --> 02:25:22,680 probably just Google PITINO fireworks so fireworks went off 2305 02:25:22,680 --> 02:25:25,470 and he ducks like it like he's under attack like the Someone's 2306 02:25:25,470 --> 02:25:32,130 shooting at him Mm Hmm 2307 02:25:32,580 --> 02:25:34,740 Do you see Alicia stick to your guns? Yeah, well, 2308 02:25:34,920 --> 02:25:39,570 let's see PITINO ducking I'm bet you can just Google that. 2309 02:25:39,780 --> 02:25:44,790 Someone made a cool little pier top hit watch Rick Pitino duck 2310 02:25:44,790 --> 02:25:51,570 for cover. Los Angeles Times no less. I said this video or do 2311 02:25:51,570 --> 02:25:56,070 they have a video? Rick Pitino is firework reaction is everyone 2312 02:25:56,070 --> 02:25:59,160 giving PITINO grief about ducking last night 2313 02:25:59,190 --> 02:26:02,760 because he was supposed to win the game? No, he's supposed to 2314 02:26:02,760 --> 02:26:07,830 lose. lose the game. I'm sorry. lose the game. You're supposed 2315 02:26:07,830 --> 02:26:10,080 to lose and then he here we go 2316 02:26:16,170 --> 02:26:22,200 and then we hear that he's ducking Hey, but you know 2317 02:26:22,200 --> 02:26:25,110 they're not going to shoot you at right after the game. 2318 02:26:25,740 --> 02:26:29,550 Just stay out of the hot tub, man. Yeah, he was supposed to 2319 02:26:29,550 --> 02:26:30,090 throw the 2320 02:26:30,090 --> 02:26:33,420 game. Alright, so we'll have to keep it we now have a Death 2321 02:26:33,420 --> 02:26:37,950 Watch on PITINO because it'd be open for 12 months and then 2322 02:26:37,950 --> 02:26:39,570 after that it's closed. Okay. 2323 02:26:39,600 --> 02:26:44,580 I know that a lot of no agenda. People are pissed at me. Why? 2324 02:26:44,610 --> 02:26:46,260 Because I bet on the game, of course. 2325 02:26:46,680 --> 02:26:49,470 Oh, they've been on Michigan. Yeah. Don't bet on sports. 2326 02:26:49,470 --> 02:26:52,110 Ladies and gentlemen, if it's rigged at all, you don't know 2327 02:26:52,110 --> 02:26:54,600 how it's rigged. Unless you're an insider. Of course. I think a 2328 02:26:54,600 --> 02:26:57,030 lot of people probably lost money on that game if that if 2329 02:26:57,030 --> 02:26:58,020 what you say is true. 2330 02:26:58,740 --> 02:27:01,380 I think so. I think that's why he was afraid he was being shot. 2331 02:27:02,550 --> 02:27:07,920 Well, we'll see. That'll play out shortly. That's funny. Okay. 2332 02:27:08,400 --> 02:27:13,350 Yeah, it's possible. Although I still think yeah, PITINO knows 2333 02:27:13,350 --> 02:27:15,000 he's not gonna get too many chances at the national 2334 02:27:15,000 --> 02:27:15,870 championship. He was 2335 02:27:16,230 --> 02:27:17,190 wasn't that interested? 2336 02:27:18,990 --> 02:27:21,540 Well, I was having dinner so I don't know. I didn't care. 2337 02:27:24,870 --> 02:27:30,210 You were having dinner with the Bakken staffer. What's her name 2338 02:27:30,210 --> 02:27:35,340 again? Bucking stopper Julie Bakken stopper, duck hammer. 2339 02:27:36,120 --> 02:27:39,960 What's your first name? Kiki Kiki stock hammer, Julie Bakken 2340 02:27:39,960 --> 02:27:45,120 stopper, Kiki stop hammer. Julie buck and stop. You guys should 2341 02:27:45,120 --> 02:27:47,340 meet. You just have 2342 02:27:48,690 --> 02:27:50,730 lunch, and lunch. 2343 02:27:52,230 --> 02:27:55,530 I have an indoor show clip that I do want to play today. So I'm 2344 02:27:55,530 --> 02:27:58,980 just claiming that right now it's a short one. George Carlin 2345 02:27:58,980 --> 02:28:03,300 with a classic that one of our producers pointed out to me, so 2346 02:28:03,300 --> 02:28:06,000 I'll make sure that I'm play that for you. Yeah, 2347 02:28:06,090 --> 02:28:08,610 I have a couple of things I want to bring up at the end. Well, 2348 02:28:08,610 --> 02:28:11,880 we're at the end. So let's go. All right, to what Well, the one 2349 02:28:11,880 --> 02:28:15,330 is, I have a question about the deal with all this controversy 2350 02:28:15,330 --> 02:28:19,140 over the morning after pill and a bomb of it. So I have a clip 2351 02:28:19,140 --> 02:28:22,770 from this, this little gab fest of women that shows up on I 2352 02:28:22,770 --> 02:28:25,170 can't remember the name of it was called controvert contrarian 2353 02:28:25,170 --> 02:28:29,070 view or something is all women grousing about men, and with 2354 02:28:29,280 --> 02:28:34,620 very, some semi famous people at the table. And they're all a 2355 02:28:34,620 --> 02:28:38,190 bunch of liberal Democrats, obviously. And so Obama 2356 02:28:38,190 --> 02:28:41,340 administration has been, you know, fighting with the FDA and 2357 02:28:41,340 --> 02:28:44,160 everybody in between in the courts because the Obama 2358 02:28:44,160 --> 02:28:46,950 administration doesn't want this morning after pill to hit the 2359 02:28:46,950 --> 02:28:50,970 streets free over the over the counter, you know, buy a pill, 2360 02:28:51,180 --> 02:28:54,660 you know, girls of any age have girls of any age and they both 2361 02:28:54,660 --> 02:28:58,530 Obama wanted to buy prescription because there's a pharmaceutical 2362 02:28:58,530 --> 02:29:00,420 industry calls the shots here with him. 2363 02:29:00,449 --> 02:29:02,909 I don't think it was by prescription. I think it was an 2364 02:29:02,909 --> 02:29:03,749 age limit. 2365 02:29:04,500 --> 02:29:07,110 Yeah, that was one of the things but originally it was the way it 2366 02:29:07,110 --> 02:29:08,400 was sold before was my 2367 02:29:08,430 --> 02:29:12,030 no no Plan B has is not by prescription. 2368 02:29:12,420 --> 02:29:14,640 Okay, well, whatever the case, I thought it was only by 2369 02:29:14,640 --> 02:29:16,980 prescription. I think that's what Obama would prefer because 2370 02:29:16,980 --> 02:29:20,220 they can charge more. Yes. But okay, so but there was an age 2371 02:29:20,220 --> 02:29:24,210 thing and then the court said now that's bullcrap. You can 2372 02:29:24,210 --> 02:29:28,380 check this out everybody Yeah. And so and so. So this is really 2373 02:29:28,380 --> 02:29:31,770 a fight going on between the courts Obama meanwhile, these 2374 02:29:31,770 --> 02:29:35,670 women on the morning after pill weird question, they twisted in 2375 02:29:35,670 --> 02:29:39,420 some way that's like what what is that got to do with anything? 2376 02:29:39,450 --> 02:29:40,350 He had to get to hear it? 2377 02:29:40,380 --> 02:29:43,740 I'm binding your bae. Welcome to to the contrary. A discussion of 2378 02:29:43,740 --> 02:29:48,060 news and social trends from diverse perspectives. Up first, 2379 02:29:48,210 --> 02:29:52,950 the future of plan B. A federal judges ruled the morning after 2380 02:29:52,950 --> 02:29:57,390 pill should be made available over the counter for all ages in 2381 02:29:57,390 --> 02:30:00,900 the Southern District of New York. The current Federal law 2382 02:30:01,050 --> 02:30:05,160 only allows it for women 16 and older. In his ruling, the judge 2383 02:30:05,160 --> 02:30:09,450 said the federal government was acting in bad faith when dealing 2384 02:30:09,450 --> 02:30:13,710 with the requests to make the pill universally available. The 2385 02:30:13,710 --> 02:30:17,850 decision counteracts the Obama administration's rejection of an 2386 02:30:17,850 --> 02:30:22,290 FDA recommendation to make the pill available for all ages 2387 02:30:22,380 --> 02:30:27,510 without a prescription. So Congresswoman Edwards, what 2388 02:30:27,510 --> 02:30:31,470 impact will this ruling have on the Republican so called war on 2389 02:30:31,470 --> 02:30:34,530 women? Well, 2390 02:30:34,890 --> 02:30:37,380 what is the Republicans got to do with this? 2391 02:30:38,070 --> 02:30:41,040 So I have a different take on this. And I wasn't gonna bring 2392 02:30:41,040 --> 02:30:45,660 it up. Because it's, you know, it's like one of those issues 2393 02:30:46,110 --> 02:30:47,970 I have a take on it to my take 2394 02:30:47,970 --> 02:30:52,710 is that we can't have people performing their own abortions, 2395 02:30:52,710 --> 02:30:56,310 you see, we have a whole industry of baby killing to 2396 02:30:56,310 --> 02:31:01,860 support. And I'm, you know, I've I have the rather conservative 2397 02:31:01,860 --> 02:31:05,880 views about this. But I think that that's, you know, there's a 2398 02:31:05,880 --> 02:31:09,810 whole industry of abortion clinics and Planned Parenthood 2399 02:31:09,810 --> 02:31:16,560 and a lot of money involved with the right to choose and, you 2400 02:31:16,560 --> 02:31:21,030 know, and so we, yeah, it's, I think it's like, yeah, you have 2401 02:31:21,030 --> 02:31:24,810 your right to choose, but not at home, you know, you need to come 2402 02:31:24,810 --> 02:31:27,240 in and talk to us. I think it's a little 2403 02:31:27,240 --> 02:31:30,870 more sinister looking at things, but I have more interesting, 2404 02:31:30,960 --> 02:31:33,390 it's not sinister, the whole thing isn't sinister, 2405 02:31:33,480 --> 02:31:38,130 sinister. But let me just say what I think the elephant in the 2406 02:31:38,130 --> 02:31:40,140 room everyone's ignoring. And why doesn't somebody do 2407 02:31:40,140 --> 02:31:43,830 something? Because everyone makes a big stink about rape, 2408 02:31:44,370 --> 02:31:48,930 obviously, because rape is a big deal, right? But statutory rape 2409 02:31:49,080 --> 02:31:51,990 is a little more sketchy, a little more interesting. If some 2410 02:31:51,990 --> 02:31:56,220 13 year old goes in to buy this pill, why don't they book her 2411 02:31:56,220 --> 02:31:59,850 immediately, and then find out if she had sex with and throw 2412 02:31:59,850 --> 02:32:02,910 the guy in jail because this is a statutory rape issue. Because 2413 02:32:02,910 --> 02:32:07,560 there's under the age of 16, in most states, or 18, actually, in 2414 02:32:07,560 --> 02:32:10,290 the majority of states, eight, you have to be 18. And if you 2415 02:32:10,290 --> 02:32:14,010 actually leave the country to go have sex with somebody, you by 2416 02:32:14,010 --> 02:32:17,220 law, the US law, you have to only have sex with somebody 18 2417 02:32:17,220 --> 02:32:20,970 and older. So in a place like France, we're 14 is the age you 2418 02:32:21,000 --> 02:32:23,700 if you had sex with a 15 year old, you could be arrested when 2419 02:32:23,700 --> 02:32:27,210 you got back. So this that so they make a big deal about all 2420 02:32:27,210 --> 02:32:29,640 this stuff and meet your demand. 2421 02:32:29,670 --> 02:32:34,680 No, no, no, no. 100% Correct. And the number one reason why 2422 02:32:34,680 --> 02:32:37,560 they don't want that is because it's all the politicians who are 2423 02:32:37,560 --> 02:32:41,730 bunch of pedo bears, raping these children, that 2424 02:32:41,760 --> 02:32:44,880 that's good day would get caused as a civilian times. And that's 2425 02:32:44,880 --> 02:32:48,240 true. And this whole thing would be very easy to deal with. Let 2426 02:32:48,240 --> 02:32:52,770 the girl come in. Then you just book her and take her to juvie 2427 02:32:52,770 --> 02:32:56,040 find out who she had sex with. Go get the guy she came in for 2428 02:32:56,040 --> 02:32:58,890 the pill. It's already been prima facie evidence is old 2429 02:32:58,890 --> 02:33:01,650 enough to at least take some actions right? Probably get a 2430 02:33:01,650 --> 02:33:04,860 warrant right? Boom. You gotta get you got a pedophile or you 2431 02:33:04,860 --> 02:33:05,460 got some Creek 2432 02:33:05,460 --> 02:33:09,990 Capitol Hill would be empty my friend. Brian Oh, boy. I think I 2433 02:33:09,990 --> 02:33:12,090 think I think you've nailed it. I think you've nailed the whole 2434 02:33:12,090 --> 02:33:13,770 problem. And he's getting a lot of pressure. 2435 02:33:13,800 --> 02:33:16,440 Oh, buddy has brought this up. Not one journalist has said 2436 02:33:16,440 --> 02:33:20,220 anything about this. This is a rape that we this woman. This 2437 02:33:20,220 --> 02:33:23,640 girl's coming in. She has been legally raped, even though she 2438 02:33:23,640 --> 02:33:27,240 may have had loved it. It's beside the point. Legal story, 2439 02:33:27,240 --> 02:33:27,480 right? 2440 02:33:27,480 --> 02:33:33,030 That's right, Scott. You nailed this one. I did. I wish I could 2441 02:33:33,030 --> 02:33:36,000 give you a nail of the week. I don't have nail of the week and 2442 02:33:36,000 --> 02:33:42,300 you do in my book. That was excellent. Wow. Well, and I 2443 02:33:42,300 --> 02:33:45,150 think the pedo bear meme fits right in I think it makes total 2444 02:33:45,150 --> 02:33:48,450 sense. And Obama was like, Oh, crap, man. I was like at least 2445 02:33:48,450 --> 02:33:51,510 50 guys with that Memphis soul thing. Like, we would have empty 2446 02:33:51,510 --> 02:33:52,140 seats. 2447 02:33:52,290 --> 02:33:55,170 Their house. A 14 year old as we speak. 2448 02:33:56,550 --> 02:33:59,760 Right. Wow. Hey, 2449 02:34:00,420 --> 02:34:02,550 what? Sorry, go on. No, I 2450 02:34:02,550 --> 02:34:04,380 mean, I was gonna say on that happy note. We should end the 2451 02:34:04,380 --> 02:34:08,730 show. It doesn't get much better than that. It's so simple for 2452 02:34:08,730 --> 02:34:12,270 this question to be asked. Yeah, where's the New York Times New 2453 02:34:12,270 --> 02:34:13,830 York Times they have they've written about this. 2454 02:34:15,240 --> 02:34:17,700 No one said asked a simple question. Really? 2455 02:34:19,680 --> 02:34:24,840 Unbelievable. Unbelievable. Good work. Well, thank you. Bye. I'm 2456 02:34:24,840 --> 02:34:26,250 proud to be associated with you. 2457 02:34:31,980 --> 02:34:34,710 Love how the chat room misconstrues what I say and to 2458 02:34:34,830 --> 02:34:38,430 check this lineup. I am glad that AC says he believes that 2459 02:34:38,430 --> 02:34:41,970 the government should control individuals. Did you hear me say 2460 02:34:41,970 --> 02:34:45,690 that? What did you hear me say that? No. 2461 02:34:46,080 --> 02:34:49,080 This is the douchebags in the chat room.
